[Music playing]

Odo, an animated brown and white owl, pops up in a forest.

Odo says, HERE I COME!

Doodle singing, ODO!

Odo hops through the forest, past different types of bird. He jumps into a mud puddle with Bud and Louie, two toucan parrots.

All singing, ODO! ODO! ODO! ODO!

Odo stands on a stump. Birds fill the forest.

All singing, ODO! ODO! ODO! ODO!

A title reads: ODO

Odo winks.

[Chimes]

[Music playing]

An episode title reads: Last Laugh

Camp Leader, a bald eagle in a hat, stand on a tree stump.

Camp Leader says, GOOD MORNING, CAMPERS! TODAY I THOUGHT IT'D BE FUN IF WE WENT OVER THE RULES OF THE FOREST. SO LISTEN CLOSELY, PUT ON YOUR SENSIBLE HATS AND...WHERE IS EVERYONE?

The clearing is empty.

The birds sit around Louie and Bud.

Louie says, ...ORANGE YOU GLAD I DIDN'T SAY "BANANA"?

[All laughing]

Odo sits next to Doodle on the grass. Doodle looks anxious.

Odo says, TELL US ANOTHER JOKE!

Doodle says, WE NEED TO GET TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT STUMP. WE'RE LATE.

Bud says, TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT STUMP! WALK THIS WAY!

Bud and Louie fly to a tree.

Louie says, WALK THAT WAY? YOU GOT IT!

[Both laughing]

They bounce up and down on a tree branch.

[All gasp]

Doodle calls, CAREFUL. YOU MIGHT GET HURT.

Louie says, WE'RE JUST HAVING A LAUGH.

They bump into each other.

Bud cries, OOF!

[All gasp]

Doodle says, LOOK OUT!

Bud and Louie fall.

Both cry, WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!

[Thudding]

The toucans land on Doodle.

[Gasping]

Odo cries, DOODLE!

[Groaning]

Doodle opens her eyes.

Odo asks, ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?

Doodle says, OW! MY POOR ANKLE.

Odo shouts, SOMEONE GET CAMP LEADER, QUICK!

Two birds fly off.

Odo says, OH, DOODLE.

Louie says, HEY, HOW IS A HURT ANKLE LIKE A BOWL OF NOODLES?

Bud says, I DON'T KNOW, LOUIE, HOW IS...?

A red bird says, NOT FUNNY!

A goose says, IF YOU'D STOPPED FOOLING AROUND WHEN DOODLE ASKED, SHE WOULDN'T HAVE A HURT ANKLE.

All the birds glare at the toucans.

[Birdsong]

Odo walks out of a log cabin.

Bud asks, ODO! HOW'S DOODLE?

Odo says, CAMP LEADER SAYS SHE JUST NEEDS TO REST HER ANKLE FOR A BIT.

Bud says, WE FEEL BAD. WE WERE ONLY TRYING TO HAVE FUN, BUT WE TOOK THINGS TOO FAR. EVERYONE'S REALLY UPSET WITH US. SO WE'VE DECIDED TO GIVE UP BEING SILLY. IT'S FAR TOO DANGEROUS.

Peacock says, AS IF YOU TWO CAN BE SENSIBLE! YOU JUST CAN'T HELP BEING SILLY.

Odo says, DON'T WORRY. I'LL HELP YOU BE SENSIBLE. THEN HOPEFULLY NO MORE BIRDS WILL END UP GETTING HURT. WE OWE IT TO DOODLE TO TRY.

Bud asks, BUT HOW?

Odo says, WITH MY HELP, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! YOU NEED TO LEARN THE RULES OF THE FOREST. THAT'LL TEACH YOU THE DO'S AND DON'TS.

Odo hands Bud a handbook. Camp Leader looks out through a window in the cabin.

Camp Leader says, GOOD IDEA.

Louie takes the book.

Louie says, THAT LOOKS LIKE FUN.

Bud says, OH. YOU'RE JOKING. SEE HOW HARD IT IS FOR US TO BE SERIOUS?

[Music playing]

Bud and Louie sit on a stump and read the handbook.

Odo asks, HOW'S IT GOING?

Bud says, WE'VE LOOKED AT ALL THE PICTURES AND I DO BELIEVE WE'VE MASTERED THE GUIDELINES, SECTIONS, AND SUB-SECTIONS OF THE FORESTRY CODE.

Odo says, OKAY. THEN IT'S TIME FOR YOU TOUCANS TO TAKE A TEST.

Louie says, WE'LL PASS WITH FLYING COLOURS!

[Both laugh]

Louie says, I MEAN, A TEST. HOW SENSIBLE.

Odo says, AND YOU BETTER WEAR THESE SENSIBLE HATS. IF YOU'RE GONNA BE SENSIBLE, YOU SHOULD LOOK SENSIBLE.

The toucans put on forest ranger hats.

[Music playing]

Odo carries the handbook as he walks. The toucans follow him.

[Chickens whooping and laughing]

The chickens run past. They jump on tree branches.

Flo says, LAST ONE TO THE TOP'S A CHICKEN!

Odo says, SO, TOUCANS, CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG HERE?

Bud says, OH, DEAR, OH, DEAR.

Louie says, FOREST CODE NUMBER 97G: NO CLIMBING TREES! YOU MIGHT DAMAGE THEM!

The chicken says, AWW...

Odo says, VERY GOOD. AND VERY SENSIBLE.

Flo says, WE WERE ONLY HAVING SOME FUN.

Reggie walks through the forest.

Reggie says, I MIGHT GET HOME QUICKER IF I JUST TAKE A SNEAKY DETOUR THROUGH THIS BUSH...

Bud says, NO SHORTCUTS! RULE 15C: EVERYONE MUST STICK TO THE PATHWAYS AT ALL TIMES SO YOU DON'T DESTROY A MOUSE'S HOUSE OR SHAKE UP A BEETLE.

Louie says, YOU'LL HAVE TO GO ROUND THE LONG WAY.

Odo says, THEY'RE RIGHT, REGGIE. SORRY.

[Whimpers]

A pigeon in a hat sits on a stump and sips from a thermos cup.

[Sighs]

Louie says, FOREST CODE 78B: NO PICNICS OUTSIDE OF DESIGNATED PICNIC AREAS.

Odo says, I GUESS THOSE ARE THE RULES, PIGEON POST. AND THAT INCLUDES CUPS OF TEA.

[Groans]

The toucans look at Odo.

Bud says, MOVE ALONG, ODO. FOREST CODE 46A: NO STANDING AROUND.

Louie says, LET'S SEE IF WE CAN FIND SOME MORE RULE BREAKERS.

Odo says, HMM. MAYBE BUD AND LOUIE HAVE BECOME TOO SENSIBLE?

[Bud & Louie clear throats]

Camp Leader eats a peach out of can. Bud holds up a fork.

Camp Leader says, OH!

Peacock has his tailfeathers spread out. Bud and Louie push them back.

Bud and Louie say, NOPE!

Peacock says, UGH.

Two geese swim in a pond. Bud and Louie toss life preserver rings around their necks.

The geese say, OOH!

Bud and Louie say, THANK YOU!

Two flamingos bounce a ball back and forth on their heads.

Bud and Louie say, NOPE!

The flamingos grab the ball and run.

Odo says, GOOD WORK. YOU KNOW ALL THE RULES OF THE FOREST. JUST ONE LAST TEST... WHY DID THE BANANA GO TO THE DOCTOR?

Odo stares at the toucans.

Louie says, RULE 4C: SENSIBLE RULE FOLLOWERS DON'T MAKE JOKES ABOUT BANANAS.

Bud says, THAT'S RIGHT. EVEN IF THEY KNOW THAT THE ANSWER IS: "BECAUSE HE WASN'T PEELING WELL."

[Odo laughing]

Odo says, CONGRATULATIONS. YOU ARE OFFICIALLY SENSIBLE.

Bud says, EXCELLENT. NO MORE SILLINESS, AND NO ONE WILL BE UPSET WITH US ANYMORE.

[Chickens squawking]

Flo says, HERE COME THOSE TOUCANS. LET'S GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE THEY SPOIL OUR FUN AGAIN.

Odo says, NEVER MIND THEM. LET'S GO AND SEE DOODLE. SHE'LL BE IMPRESSED BY HOW SENSIBLE YOU ARE.

[Music playing]

Odo and the toucans walk to the cabin.

Odo calls, DOODLE! YOU'VE GOT VISITORS.

Doodle sits up in a bed, reading a comic book.

Odo says, IT'S BUD AND LOUIE. THEY'VE CHANGED. THEY'RE NOT SILLY, THEY'RE SENSIBLE.

Bud says, YOU REALLY NEED TO SHUT THE DOOR, ODO. FOREST CODE NUMBER 379B: SHUT ALL DOORS AND GATES BEHIND YOU.

Odo says, SEE? SENSIBLE AND SAFE.

Louie says, NO MORE BIRDS WILL GET HURT BECAUSE OF OUR SILLINESS.

Doodle says, HMM... YOU WANNA READ MY COMIC?

Bud says, NO, THANK YOU. A COMIC SOUNDS A BIT SILLY TO ME.

Odo says, WOW, YOU REALLY ARE SENSIBLE.

[Laughing]

Odo says, THAT'S SO FUNNY!

Bud says, EXCUSE ME?

Doodle says, YOU TWO. PRETENDING TO BE SENSIBLE. THAT'S THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD! AND WHAT DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR HEAD?

Odo says, THAT'S THEIR SENSIBLE HATS, DOODLE.

Doodle asks, SENSIBLE HATS? THAT'S A GOOD ONE!

[Laughing]

Louie says, SO EVEN WHEN WE'RE BEING SENSIBLE, WE'RE STILL FUNNY?

Doodle walks over. She jumps up to grab Bud’s hat and wears it outside.

Doodle in a funny voice, LOOK AT ME. I'M SENSIBLE. HA-HA-HA!

Odo says, DOODLE! YOU'RE UP! BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR HURT ANKLE?

Doodle says, OH! MY ANKLE. I WAS HAVING SO MUCH FUN, I FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT. IT DOESN'T EVEN HURT ANYMORE.

Camp Leader says, LAUGHTER REALLY IS THE BEST MEDICINE.

[All laugh]

Odo says, YOU'RE ALL BETTER! THANKS, BUD AND LOUIE!

Odo grabs Louie’s hat and puts it on.

Bud says, OH, YOU'RE WELCOME. I GUESS.

[All laughing]

[Music playing]

Bud asks, WHY DO FLAMINGOS LIFT UP ONE LEG?

Louie says, IF THEY LIFTED BOTH UP, THEY'D FALL OVER!

The toucans stand on a stump with all the other birds and Reggie around them.

[All laughing]

A flamingo says, IT'S FUNNY, BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!

Bud says, SERIOUSLY, THOUGH, FLAMINGOS, PLEASE DON'T TRY THAT. WE WOULDN'T WANT ANYONE TO GET HURT.

Flo says, IT'S SO GOOD TO HAVE THE TOUCANS BACK TO THEIR OLD SELVES.

Odo says, NOT QUITE THEIR OLD SELVES. NOW THEY'RE SILLY AND SENSIBLE. THE PERFECT BALANCE!

[All laugh]
