[Music playing]

Odo, an animated brown and white owl, pops up in a forest.

Odo says, HERE I COME!

Doodle singing, ODO!

Odo hops through the forest, past different types of bird. He jumps into a mud puddle with Bud and Louie, two toucan parrots.

All singing, ODO! ODO! ODO! ODO!

Odo stands on a stump. Birds fill the forest.

All singing, ODO! ODO! ODO! ODO!

A title reads: ODO

Odo winks.

[Chimes]

[Wind whistling]

An episode title reads: To The South.

The toucans, Bud and Louie sit on a tree stump. The three chickens cut paper dolls.

Flo says, WAIT FOR IT. TA-DA!

[Laughs]

The flamingos bounce a ball back and forth on their heads. Odo walks in the forest. He shivers as the wind blows.

[Shudders]

Odo says, OOOH.

A flamingo says, GOOD MORNING, ODO.

Odo says, WOW! EVERYBODY SURE IS BUSY! WHERE'S DOODLE?

Doodle carries a red shovel.

Doodle says, MORNING, ODO! WANNA HELP BUILD A SANDCASTLE?

Odo says, NO THANKS, DOODLE. IT'S TOO CHILLY. IT'S NEARLY WINTER. BRR.

Pigeon Post flies to the ground, wearing a hat and carrying a mailbag.

Pigeon says, DELIVERY! I'VE SOMETHING FOR YOU, ODO.

Pigeon hands Odo a postcard.

Odo says, WOW! LOOK! PALM TREES! AND LOOK AT THE SUNSHINE AND THAT SANDY BEACH. AND THAT BLUE WATER!

Doodle says, IT LOOKS MAGICAL! WHO'S IT FROM?

Odo says, GRANDMA CERISE! LOVELY GRANDMA CERISE. HANG ON. I DON'T HAVE A GRANDMA CERISE!

A light pink flamingo says, NO, BUT WE DO. SHE'S OUR GRANDMA!

Pigeon says, OH, SORRY, ODO. LOOKS LIKE I GOT MY DELIVERY WRONG. MUST BE TIME FOR A CUP OF TEA. MY BRAIN STOPS WORKING WHEN IT NEEDS TEA.

[Chuckles]

A dark pink flamingo says, GRANDMA CERISE LIVES IN THE SOUTH. CAN'T WAIT TO FLY SOUTH TO SEE HER AGAIN.

The two flamingos walk away.

Odo says, I'D LOVE TO FLY SOUTH FOR THE WINTER. IT LOOKS SO WARM AND LOVELY.

Camp Leader says, OWLS DON'T DO THAT, ODO.

Odo says, WELL THEN, I'LL BE THE FIRST. COME ON, DOODLE. I WANNA SEE THOSE PALM TREES AND RELAX ON A SANDY BEACH.

Odo stands in his kitchen. His mother and father sit at a table, drinking tea.

Odo says, OH, PLEASE CAN WE FLY SOUTH FOR THE WINTER THIS YEAR? PLEASE!

Dad says, I DON'T KNOW. IT'S SUCH A LONG WAY, ODO.

Mum says, AND THE FLIGHT WOULD BE SO TIRING.

Odo says, THEN I'LL WALK THERE!

[Chuckles]

Dad says, WELL, I SUPPOSE IF ANYONE CAN, ODO, YOU CAN.

[Laughing]

Odo runs upstairs.

Odo says, YOU HEAR THAT, DOODLE? THEY SAID I COULD WALK THERE!

Doodle says, YES!

They look at a map.

Doodle says, IT IS A REALLY LONG WALK TO THE SOUTH, ODO. BY THE TIME YOU GOT THERE, WINTER WOULD BE OVER!

Odo says, HMM. THERE MUST BE ANOTHER WAY.

[Knock at door]

Odo says, HUH?

Odo opens the front door. Pigeon stands outside, holding a large box.

Pigeon says, PARCEL FOR YOUR MUM AND DAD, ODO.

Mum says, REALLY? WE'RE NOT EXPECTING A DELIVERY.

Pigeon says, OH, YES! MY MISTAKE! THIS IS FOR MR. AND MRS. CHICKEN. WHOOPS. STILL, IS THAT THE KETTLE I HEAR?

Odo says, AHA! DOODLE! THAT'S IT! I'LL POST MYSELF TO THE SOUTH!

Doodle says, YES!

[Music playing]

Odo lays out craft supplies and makes measurements. Doodle folds a paper hat.

Doodle says, THERE YOU GO, ODO! PERFECT. ALL PARCELLED UP. AND NOW THE ADDRESS.

Odo wears a hat and coat made of paper. Doodle writes on him.

Odo says, IT TICKLES! MAKE SURE YOU SPELL "THE SOUTH" RIGHT! WE DON'T WANT PIGEON POST TO GET THIS DELIVERY WRONG!

[Music playing]

[Whistling]

Pigeon strolls through the forest. Doodle hides behind a bush.

[Giggling]

Pigeon stops.

Pigeon says, SOMEONE'S LEFT A PARCEL OUT FOR ME TO COLLECT. OH, THAT'S A FUNNY LOOKING ONE.

Odo has covered his face and is completely wrapped in paper. Pigeon picks him up.

[Giggles]

Pigeon says, AND PARCELS DON'T USUALLY GIGGLE. ODO?

Pigeon moves the paper, so Odo’s face is visible.

Odo says, I JUST WANNA BE DELIVERED TO THE SOUTH!

Pigeon says, I CAN'T DELIVER LITTLE OWLS. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVEN'T EVEN USED A STAMP.

[Laughing]

Pigeon walks away.

Doodle says, NEVER MIND, ODO. PERHAPS OWLS JUST AREN'T MEANT TO GO SOUTH FOR THE WINTER.

Odo says, YOU HEARD HIM, DOODLE. I JUST NEED A STAMP. I WON'T GIVE UP UNTIL I'M DELIVERED TO THE SOUTH.

Doodle sticks stamps on the paper covering Odo.

[Music playing]

Odo and Doodle run to Pigeon. He shakes his head.

[Chuckles]

Odo returns with his head sticking out of a large envelope.

Pigeon says, NOPE.

Doodle pushes Odo, who is covered in pink wrapping paper with a large bow on his head.

[Grunting]

Pigeon says, UH-UH.

[Music playing]

Pigeon says, DEAR ME, I DO HOPE ODO HAS GIVEN UP. THAT LITTLE OWL HAS WASTED SO MUCH TIME TODAY. TIME THAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER SPENT WITH MY FEET UP, ENJOYING A NICE CUPPA, NOT TO MENTION A BISCUIT!

Doodle watches Pigeon through a bush. Odo is inside a box with holes in it.

Doodle says, THIS TIME, ODO! I'LL DISTRACT HIM. HE'LL NEVER GUESS THAT YOU'RE INSIDE.

Pigeon walks over.

Doodle says, AH, PIGEON POST! JUST A TOTALLY NORMAL PARCEL FOR YOU TO DELIVER, NOTHING ODD HERE. IT DEFINITELY DOESN'T HAVE ODO INSIDE. SAY, WOULD YOU LIKE A CUP OF TEA? AND A BISCUIT?

Pigeon says, FOLLOW ME, DOODLE, I THINK IT'S TIME YOU HELP ME DELIVER AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE.

Camp Leader, an eagle wearing a hat, sits inside a cabin.

[Gasps]

Camp Leader says, AND HE'S BEEN TRYING TO BE DELIVERED ALL DAY?

Pigeon says, YES, CAMP LEADER! ISN'T THAT RIGHT, DOODLE?

Doodle says, YES. BUT ONLY BECAUSE HE WANTS TO SEE THE SOUTH.

Camp Leader says, OH, DEAR. POOR ODO MUST BE MUCH MORE DESPERATE TO EXPERIENCE THE SOUTH THAN I EVER THOUGHT.

Pigeon says, YOU MEAN, HE'S NEVER FLOWN SOUTH BEFORE? POOR LITTLE GUY!

Camp Leader says, WELL, IN THAT CASE, WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING.

Pigeon walks outside.

[Whistling]

Odo peeks out from the box.

Odo says, AHA! HERE HE COMES!

Pigeon says, NOW THEN. WHERE IS THIS PARCEL GOING TO?

[Chuckles]

Pigeon says, LET'S SEE. "TO THE SOUTH!". RIGHTIO! THE SOUTH IT IS THEN, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Odo whispers, IT'S WORKING! IT'S ACTUALLY WORKING!!

Pigeon says, WHAT WAS THAT? IS SOMEONE THERE?

Odo says, NO.

Pigeon says, GOOD! THOUGHT NOT.

Odo says, TRICKED HIM! NEXT STOP, THE SOUTH!

Inside the dark box, Odo puts on sunglasses.

Pigeon says, AND WE ARE AT OUR DESTINATION. SPECIAL DELIVERY TO THE SOUTH!

Odo says, WOW! THAT WAS QUICK.

Pigeon says, IT WAS A VERY SPECIAL DELIVERY INDEED.

Pigeon flies off. Odo lifts the lid on the box. He is on a beach.

Odo says, WOW! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I'M HERE! THE SOUTH! AMAZING!

Camp Leader and all the birds watch from behind a hill.

Camp Leader whispers, QUICK. MUSIC.

[Mellow tropical music playing]

Odo says, OH, THIS MUST BE MUSIC FROM THE SOUTH! OH, I LIKE THE SAND UNDER MY FEET!

Camp Leader whispers, WELL, DONE ON EMPTYING OUT THE SAND PIT, THELMA!

Thelma, a red bird, smiles.

Odo looks at a beach towel with a ball and a glass of water on it.

Odo says, THE ROAR OF THE OCEAN. AND LOOK! WATER WITH BERRIES IN IT! TROPICAL!

Camp Leader whispers, VERY GENEROUS OF YOU TO SHARE YOUR DRINK, TOUCANS!

Odo says, THE SOUTH IS AMAZING! IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN I IMAGINED! SUN! SEA! SAND! WOW! IT'S PARADISE!

A goose whispers, IT'S JUST LIKE THE SOUTH.

Camp Leader whispers, EXCELLENT WORK, CAMP. IT WAS VERY KIND OF YOU TO DO ALL THIS FOR ODO.

Odo kicks the ball.

Odo says, OH, BUT I'M ALL BY MYSELF. I WISH MY FRIENDS WERE HERE WITH ME. I MISS DOODLE AND ALL MY FRIENDS.

The birds say, AWW.

Doodle cries, ODO! WE'RE HERE! WE WERE HERE ALL ALONG!

[Chattering]

Odo cries, YAY!

Camp Leader says, WE'RE IN THE GLADE! ALL THE CAMP DID A SPIFFING JOB OF MAKING IT LOOK LIKE THE SOUTH, JUST FOR YOU!

Odo says, WOW!

Pigeon says, HOPE YOU DON'T MIND, ODO. LOOKS LIKE I DELIVERED YOU TO THE WRONG PLACE!

Odo says, WRONG PLACE? NO! THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE! IT'S WHERE ALL MY FRIENDS ARE! THIS IS EXACTLY WHERE I WANNA BE!

The birds play in the water and sit on the beach. Pigeon pours tea for himself and Camp Leader.

[All chattering, laughing]
