Dr. Cheddar picks up a sheet of paper from the recycling bin.
Dr. Cheddar says, THEY'LL USE THIS OLD PAPER
TO MAKE NEW PAPER.
(Dr. Cheddar chuckles)
Annie walks inside a row of windows and French doors overlooking a garden.
(Annie hums)
Annie holds both hands over her mouth.
(Annie gasps)
An empty tin can rests on its side on a kitchen counter.
(Suspenseful music)
Annie picks up the can, looks at it, and holds a hand to her mouth.
(Annie gasps)
(Upbeat music)
Annie runs out of the kitchen carrying the can, past flowers in a vase on a cabinet, and looks out a front window onto a street, A garbage truck drives past a blue recycling bin and a green bin on a sidewalk. Annie walks away from the window.
(Sombre music)
(Computer buzzes)
Dr. Cheddar is behind a desk in his office. He looks at a computer screen.
Dr. Cheddar says, OOH!
HELLO, ANNIE!
HOW ARE YOU TODAY?
Annie appears on the computer screen sitting on a red couch.
Annie says, AWFUL.
Dr. Cheddar says, WHY?
Annie holds the can in her hands.
Annie says, I MISSED RECYCLING
AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
Dr. Cheddar says, WELL, YOU COULD WAIT
UNTIL NEXT WEEK OR...
Annie says, OR?
Dr. Cheddar says, OR YOU COULD REUSE THAT CAN.
Annie says, I CAN?
Dr. Cheddar says, YOU CAN!
YOU CAN REUSE THAT CAN
AND MAKE SOMETHING NEW.
Annie says, OF COURSE, I CAN.
(Bell dings)
Annie says, I CAN REUSE IT AND
MAKE SOMETHING NEW!
Dr. Cheddar says, LIKE A LITTLE FLOWERPOT OR...
Annie says, OR...
A DECORATION FOR THE GARDEN.
Dr. Cheddar says, OR A LANTERN.
Annie says, A CANTERN!
(Dr. Cheddar and Annie laugh)
Annie says, OR...
Dr. Cheddar says, OR WHAT?
Annie says, I'VE GOT IT!
THANK YOU, DR. CHEDDAR!
(Annie giggles)
Dr. Cheddar says, OKAY, ANNIE.
HAVE FUN!
(Dr. Cheddar chuckles)
(Light music)
Annie sits at an art table with scissors, glue, a pencil, and tape. She rolls yellow paper and black tape onto the can and sticks a pair of googly eyes near the rim.
(Dr. Cheddar hums)
Dr. Cheddar walk into his office. A paper bag decorated with a sun and flowers sits on the desk.
Dr. Cheddar says, OH?
WHAT'S THIS?
(Computer buzzes)
Dr. Cheddar says, HELLO, ANNIE!
IS THIS FROM YOU?
(Annie claps)
Annie says, YES, IT IS!
OPEN IT!
(Joyful music)
Dr. Cheddar takes a tin can decorated to look like a bee out of the bag.
(Dr. Cheddar gasps)
Dr Cheddar says, ANNIE...
IT'S BEAUTIFUL!
THANK YOU.
IT'S PERFECT FOR MY DESK.
(Dr. Cheddar chuckles)
(Annie claps)
Annie says, YOU'RE WELCOME, DR. CHEDDAR.
I'M GONNA MAKE ANOTHER
ONE JUST FOR ME.
GOODBYE!
Dr. Cheddar says, THIS IS DR. CHEDDAR,
HOPING YOU FEEL BETTER
ABOUT RECYCLING.
(Dr. Cheddar chuckles)
Dr. Cheddar pushes the can on the desk.
Dr. Cheddar says, BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ.
OH, I HAVE TO PUT MY
PENS IN YOU FOR SURE.
WHAT A LITTLE CUTIE.
(Dr. Cheddar chuckles)
(Fireworks explode)
Dr. Cheddar, Annie, and Felix point at the night sky and say,
WHOA. WOW. LOVELY.
