Pup jumps into the chest and looks through it. Pup holds blue and green squares of fabric and a small orange sweater.
Pup smiles at Kit. A disco ball spins and Kit walks on a fashion runway dressed in a backwards ball cap and orange sweater. Kit wears the blue and green squares of fabric as a skirt. Pup wears star-shaped sunglasses.
A girl with black curly hair holds up a green towel. She uses clothing pins to attach the towel to a line.
The narrator says, FABRIC!
Animated yellow stars fall.
[Chimes]
[Upbeat music plays]

Kit stands beside denim jeans, a sweater, and a plush pink folded item of clothing. Kit dances happily.

A needle on a sewing machine sews shiny blue and white strips of fabric together.
[Pop]
The narrator says, WHAT DID KIT FIND OUT
ABOUT FABRIC? FABRIC CAN BE COLOURFUL.

[Cheering]
Kit and Pup dance.

A boy and a girl make their finger puppets bow. They close a pair of red curtains on a puppet theatre.
The narrator says, THESE CURTAINS ARE MADE

[Pop]
Pup dances happily.
The narrator says, THESE CLOTHES ARE MADE
OF FABRIC.
A woman wears a bright yellow dress. She dances beside a woman who wears a white blouse and full red skirt. They both smile as they dance.
The narrator says, THIS BEDDING IS MADE OF FABRIC.
Pup stands on a bed.
[Pop]
The narrator says, WHAT CAN BE MADE FROM FABRIC?
CURTAINS. CLOTHES. AND BEDDING.
[Cheering]
A pair of grey socks with black wavy lines and red toes and heels unrolls. The socks change colour and spin. Tiny people sit on a pair of blue denim jeans.
The narrator says, FABRIC.
[Ting, cheering, applause]
Pup and Kit walk on a purple stage in front of pink curtains. Pup leans forward and stops. He turns and the seam of his yellow pants has split open, showing his white underwear.
[Ripping, gasping]
The narrator says, LET'S INVESTIGATE!
[Cheering]
The narrator asks, CAN WE MAKE A PICTURE
OUT OF COLOURFUL FABRIC?
LET'S FIND OUT.
A girl wears her long black hair in braids. A boy wears an orange shirt and blue jeans. He wears his brown hair short. The boy and girl run and each grabs an armful of fabric. They run back to a white square of fabric on the floor. They work together to spread the fabric.
The narrator says, THIS FABRIC IS THIN,
AND THIS FABRIC IS THICK!
A hand grabs an orange shirt and reveals an orange towel beneath it.
The narrator says, THIS GREEN FABRIC IS BUBBLY!
Kit pets a green towel.
The narrator says, THIS BLUE FABRIC IS BRIGHT
AND SHINY.
The narrator asks, WHAT HAVE WE MADE WITH
THE COLOURFUL FABRICS?
A RAINBOW!!
Kit and Pup wave flags.
[Cheering]
Voices sing, THE WORLD IS FULL OF VARIETY
LOOK AROUND, WHAT CAN YOU SEE?
Animated apples fall out of a tree.
Voices sing, TREES AND FRUIT
MAGNETS AND METAL

Socks change colour and spin.

[Rustling]
Pup watches newvously as Kit sews a purple patch over the hole in Pup’s yellow pants.
Kit says, TAH-DAH!
The patch falls open.
[Hmmm]
Pup wears his yellow pants tied around his head.
[Cheering, applause]
The narrator says, BYE KIT! BYE PUP!
Kit and Pup wave.
