Pins and Nettie stop walking when they reach the middle of the room.

The narrator says, IT’S NEARLY TIME FOR QUINN’S

ARE YOU READY TO GO?

Pins and Nettie nod.

The narrator says, I JUST LOVE A GOOD DANCE PARTY.
DON’T YOU?

Pins and Nettie squeak. They look excited. They jump up and down.

The narrator says, I WONDER WHAT DANCES WE’LL DO.
OOH, MAYBE THE CHICKEN DANCE!

The narrator clucks like a chicken. Pins and Nettie squeak and dance.

Laughing, the narrator says, THAT’S ONE OF MY FAVOURITES.

Pins and Nettie squeak with laughter.

Pins does robot dance moves. Nettie watches Pins. She looks interested.

The narrator says, OH, YEAH, PINS GOT SOME ROBOT

GET YOUR DANCE ON!
GO, NETTIE!

Pins and Nettie dance.

The narrator says, OOH, AND WE’LL DEFINITELY DO
THE HOKEY POKEY.
THAT’S MY FAVOURITE DANCE OF
ALL.
COME ON, PINS.
COME ON, NETTIE!
LET’S HOKEY POKEY!

Pins and Nettie look confused.

The narrator sings, YOU PUT YORU LEFT PAW IN
YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW OUT
YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW IN
AND YOU SHAKE IT ALL ABOUT
YOU DO THE HOKEY POKEY AND
YOU TURN YOURSELF AROUND
AND THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL…

Pins and Nettie curl up into balls. Their eyes peak out.

The narrator says…ABOUT?
OH, NO, PINS, NETTIE.
WHAT’S WRONG?
WE WERE ALL HAVING SUCH FUN
DANCING.

Pins and Nettie look at each other.

The narrator says, UP UNTIL THE HOKEY POKEY.
IS IT THAT YOU DON’T LIKE
DANCING THE HOKEY POKEY?

Pins and Nettie shake their curled up selves to say no.

The narrator asks, IS IT THAT YOU DON’T KNOW HOW
TO DO THE HOKEY POKEY?

Pins and Nettie nod themselves to say yes.

The narrator says, I UNDERSTAND NOW.
IT’S OK IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE
HOKEY POKEY.

Pins and Nettie uncurl themselves. They smile.

The narrator asks, NOW, SHALL WE GET GOING TO THE
PARTY?

Pins and Nettie squeak. They look nervous.

The narrator asks, YOU DON’T WANT TO GO TO THE
PARTY ANYMORE?

Pins and Nettie shake their heads.

The narrator asks, IS THIS BECAUSE OF THE HOKEY
POKEY?

Pins and Nettie squeak. Pins nods.

The narrator asks, ARE YOU FEELING SHY ABOUT DOING
A DANCE THAT YOU DON’T KNOW IN
FRONT OF YOUR FRIENDS?

Pins and Nettie nod. They look at each other, frowning.

The narrator says, WELL, WE DON’T HAVE TO GO TO
THE PARTY IF YOU DON’T WANT TO,
BUT I’D HATE FOR YOU TO MISS
OUT ON THE FUN.
YOU WERE SO EXCITED ABOUT IT
EARLIER.

Pins and Nettie look thoughtful.

The narrator says, I KNOW, HOW ABOUT WE PRACTICE
THE HOKEY POKEY HERE FIRST?

Pins and Nettie look at each other.

The narrator says, THAT WAY, YOU’LL KNOW HOW TO DO
IT AT THE DANCE PARTY.
WHAT DO YOU SAY?

Pins and Nettie smile and squeak.

The narrator says, WONDERFUL!
THE GREAT THING ABOUT THE
HOKEY POKEY IS THAT IT TELLS
YOU EXACTLY WHAT TO DO.
YOU READY?

Pins and Nettie nod and squeak in agreement.

The narrator says, OKAY, FIRST, YOU PUT YOUR LEFT
PAW IN.

Pins and Nettie put their left paws in.

The narrator says, WELL DONE.
NEXT, YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW
OUT.

Pins and Nettie take their left paws out.

The narrator says, AND NOW YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW
IN, AND YOU SHAKE IT ALL ABOUT.

Pins and Nettie put their left paws back in and shake them. The narrator laughs.

The narrator says, THAT’S MY FAVOURITE PART.
OKAY, NEXT, YOU DO THE HOKEY
POKEY AND YOU TURN YOURSELF
AROUND.

Pins and Nettie squeak. They hop as they turn themselves around in a circle.

The narrator says, GREAT TURNING.

Pins and Nettie squeak.

The narrator says, AND THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT.
PINS AND NETTIE, YOU DID IT!

Pins and Nettie squeak happily. They grin.

The narrator asks, SHALL WE DO IT TOGETHER ONE
MORE TIME?

Pins and Nettie squeak and nod their heads.

The narrator says, OKAY!
A-FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT.

The narrator sings, YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW IN
YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW OUT
YOU PUT YOUR LEFT PAW IN
AND YOU SHAKE IT ALL ABOUT
YOU DO THE HOKEY POKEY AND
YOU TURN YOURSELF AROUND
AND THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL
ABOUT.

Pins and Nettie smile at each other.

The narrator says, OH, BRAVO, PINS AND NETTIE.
YOU MIGHT BE THE BEST HOKEY
POKIERS I’VE EVER SEEN!

Pins and Nettie squeak. Pins makes a silly face and Nettie squeaks in laughter.

The narrator asks, SO, YOU READY TO SHOW OFF THOSE
MOVES AT QUINN’S DANCE PARTY?

Pins and Nettie squeak and nod their heads. They jump and turn themselves around in a circle.

At the dance party, Pins, Nettie and other hedgehogs dance. They jump around in circles.

The narrator sings, YOU DO THE HOKEY POKEY AND
YOU TURN YOURSELF AROUND
AND THAT’S WHAT IT’S ALL
ABOUT.
