The sun shines on a colourful stone
path in a field filled with wildflowers.
A windmill stands in the middle of a
small town surrounded by rolling
hills. The windmill rotates in a
gentle breeze.

Kids sing,
“HERE COMES DONKEY HODIE
HEE-HAW!
DONKEY HODIE
SHE LOVES ADVENTURE,
SHE LOVES SURPRISE
WHEN THERE'S A PROBLEM,
SHE TRIES AND TRIES
LET'S GO
DONKEY HODIE
IF SHE FAILS,
SHE'LL BOUNCE RIGHT BACK
COME ON DUCK DUCK,
GIVE A QUACK”

Duck Duck says, “KI KI, QUACK!”

The song continues,
“DONKEY HODIE
SHE PLAYS WITH BOB DOG,
THEY HAVE A BALL
IT'S FUN FOR THEM,
IT'S FUN FOR ALL”

Bob Dog says,
“BOW WOW!”

The song continues,
“DONKEY HODIE
JUST FOR FUN,
SHE'LL TAKE A TRIP
WITH PURPLE PANDA
IN A SPACE SHIP”

Purple Panda says, “HEYO!”

The song continues,
“DONKEY HODIE
A HEE AND A HAW
AND A HAW AND A HEE
SOMEPLACE ELSE
IS THE PLACE TO BE
WITH OUR PAL
DONKEY HODIE!”

Donkey Hodie says,
“HEE-HAW!”

Flashback.

Grampy says, “AND THERE I WAS,
HALFWAY UP MT. REALLY HIGH UP!
I WAS GETTING A LITTLE TIRED,
BUT I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE IT
TO THE TIPPY-TOP PEAK!”

Grampy follows a stone path past bright
pink bushes. He walks toward a tall peak.

Grampy continues,
“NOTHING WAS GONNA STOP ME!
AND THEN, HEE-HAW!
I DID IT!
I FINALLY MADE IT ALL THE WAY
TO THE TIPPY-TOP PEAK!
AND IT WAS BEEAUTIFUL!
AND TO MARK THIS AMAZING
ACCOMPLISHMENT,
I PUT DOWN A FLAG,
ALL THE WAY AT THE TIPPY-TOP
PEAK OF MT. REALLY HIGH UP!
HEE-HAW!”

Donkey and Panda reply, “WHOAAAA!”

Donkey adds,
“HEE HAWESOME, GRAMPY!
HOW HIGH UP WAS THE TIPPY-TOP
OF THE MOUNTAIN?”

Grampy responds, “REALLY HIGH UP!”

Panda asks,
“WHAT WAS THE BEST PART?”

Grampy answers, “OH, SEEING ALL
THE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS,
AND THEN PUTTING DOWN A FLAG
AT THE TIPPY-TOP!”

Donkey asks,
“WAS THE HIKE HARD?”

Grampy replies, “REALLY HARD!”

Panda asks,
“HOW OLD WERE YOU?”

Grampy says,
“WHY, I WAS JUST ABOUT
YOUR AGE.”

Donkey asks,
“YOU WERE OUR AGE?”

Panda and Donkey add, “WHOA!”

Donkey and Panda look up at the
top of Mt Really High Up.

Donkey asks, “CAN YOU BELIEVE
GRAMPY HIKED ALL THE WAY
TO THE TIPPY-TOP
WHEN HE WAS OUR AGE?”

Panda adds,
“WOW, AND HE PUT A FLAG
UP THERE, TOO!”

Donkey says,
“WELL, WE COULD DO THAT!
WE COULD HIKE ALL THE WAY
TO THE TIPPY-TOP
OF MT. REALLY HIGH UP!”

Panda replies,
“OH! AND WE CAN PUT DOWN
OUR OWN FLAG!”

Donkey asks, “WE HAVE A FLAG?”

Panda holds up a flag. On it is a
picture of Donkey and Panda
holding hands.

Panda replies, “WE HAVE A FLAG!”

Donkey says, “HEY!”

Panda shouts,
“TO THE TIPPY-TOP
OF MT. REALLY HIGH UP!”

Donkey says, “HEE-HAW,
LET'S GET READY TO GO!”

Donkey and Panda put on back
packs at the windmill.

Panda says, “OOH!”

Donkey adds, “AH! OKAY, PANDA!
WE'RE ALL PACKED FOR OUR HIKE,
AND READY TO GO!”

Panda replies, “YEAH!”

Donkey says, “I'M SO EXCITED!”

Panda adds, “ME TOO!
BUT GRAMPY SAID THAT
THIS HIKE IS REALLY HARD.”

Donkey says,
“OH, WE CAN DO IT, PANDA!”

Panda asks,
“YOU THINK SO, DONKEY?”

Donkey answers, “YEAH! YEAH!
WE'RE STRONG!

Panda says in a deep voice,
“STRONG!”

Donkey adds, “AND BRAVE!”

Panda says in a deep voice,
“BRAVE!”

Donkey says, “AND WE'VE DONE HARD
THINGS BEFORE!”

Panda replies, “YEP, WE SURE HAVE.
WAIT. HAVE WE?”

Donkey responds,
“YEAH, YEAH, LIKE UH...
OH! OH, LIKE WHEN WE WANTED
TO BUILD
THE BIGGEST SNOWMAN EVER?”

Flashback. Panda and Donkey stand
beside a tall snowman. Its buttons are
made of colourful rocks.

Donkey says, “HEE-HAW!
BUILDING A SNOWMAN WAS HARD!”

Panda adds,
“WHEW! THAT WAS HARD!”

Donkey says, “BUT WE'RE STRONG!”

Panda repeats, “STRONG!”

Donkey adds, “AND BRAVE!”

Panda repeats, “BRAVE!
HEY, WHERE HAVE I HEARD
THAT BEFORE?”

Donkey shouts,
“AND WE DID IT!”

Panda replies, “YEAH! WE DID IT!”

Donkey adds, “YEAH!”

Donkey sings, "WE DID IT!
WE DID IT! WE DID IT!
WE DID IT!
WE DID IT!”

Donkey and Panda rest their back
packs on their shoulders.

Donkey says,
“AND I KNOW WE CAN DO THIS.”

Panda adds, “ME TOO!”

Donkey asks,
“SO, ARE WE READY, PANDA?”

Panda answers, “READY, DONKEY!”

Donkey states, “WE'RE GONNA GO
TO THE TIPPY-TOP
OF MT. REALLY HIGH UP!
HEE-HAW!”

Panda adds, “HEY!”

Panda and Donkey begin to climb
the mountain. They pant.

Panda says, “LOOK AT US, DONKEY!
WE'RE HIKING UP THE MOUNTAIN!”

Donkey replies,
“YEAH, WE'RE DOING IT, PANDA!
JUST LIKE GRAMPY!”

Panda adds, “YEAH!”

Donkey says, “HEY! LOOK!
IT'S ONE OF GRAMPY'S FLAGS!”

Panda responds,
“HEY! GRAMPY WAS HERE!”

Donkey adds,
“WE'RE ON THE RIGHT PATH,
BUDDY!”

Panda replies, “HMM!”

Panda and Donkey continue
their climb.

Panda asks, “ARE WE THERE YET,
DONKEY?”

Donkey answers, “NOT YET, PANDA,
BUT WE'RE GETTING THERE.”

Panda states, “THIS HIKE IS GETTING
REALLY HARD.
GRAMPY WAS RIGHT.”

Donkey replies,
“YEAH, I DIDN'T THINK
WE'D STILL BE SO FAR AWAY
FROM THE TIPPY-TOP!”

Panda says, “HEY, DONKEY?”

Donkey replies, “YEAH, PANDA,
MY PURPLE-Y PAL?”

Panda sighs.

He says, “I'M GETTING
A LITTLE MORE TIRED.
HEY, HOW ABOUT WE GO HOME
AND REST,
AND TRY AGAIN TOMORROW?
SOUND GOOD?”

Donkey replies,
“I KNOW YOU'RE TIRED,
BUT WE CAN DO THIS!
WE CAN CLIMB ALL THE WAY UP
JUST LIKE GRAMPY DID
WHEN HE WAS OUR AGE!
BELIEVE IT!”

Panda pants as he follows Donkey
up the mountain.

(Tired huffing)

Donkey says,
“HEY LOOK, ANOTHER ONE
OF GRAMPY'S FLAGS!”

Panda replies, “OH YEAH.
ANOTHER FLAG.
LOOK AT THAT.”

Panda pants. He looks exhausted.

(Birds chirp)

Panda says, “HEY, DONKEY?”

Donkey replies, “YEAH, PANDA?”

Panda responds, “I'M STILL TIRED.”

Donkey adds, “YEAH.
YEAH, I'M GETTING
REALLY TIRED, TOO.”

Panda asks, “OH, IT'S LIKE,
HOW DO I KEEP HIKING
WHEN I CAN'T STOP THINKING
ABOUT HOW TIRED I AM?
I KEEP THINKING ABOUT
HOW TIRED MY TOESIES ARE,
AND MY THUMBSIES--”

Donkey replies,
“YEAH, MAYBE WE SHOULD TRY
THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE?”

Panda asks,
“OH YEAH! LIKE RESTING?
OR COZY PILLOWS?
OR NAPS?”

Donkey responds,
“I DON'T KNOW IF THAT'S
GONNA TO HELP US, PANDA.”

Donkey gasps.

She adds, “HEY! HEY!
LET'S TRY THINKING
ABOUT OUR STEPS!
OH! BETTER YET,
LET'S TRY COUNTING OUR STEPS!”

Panda says,
“OH YEAH! SO WE WON'T THINK
ABOUT HOW TIRED WE ARE!”

Donkey adds, “LET'S DO IT.”

Panda replies, “OKAY.”

Donkey and Panda count,
“ONE, TWO,
THREE, FOUR…”

Donkey and Panda climb higher
up the mountain.

They continue,
“46, 47,
48, 49…”

Panda and Donkey walk past
another one of Grampy’s flags.

They count,
“93, 94,
95, 96…”

Panda says,
“OH! I CAN'T COUNT ANYMORE!
OH! I CAN'T WALK ANYMORE!
MY TOESIES ARE SO TIRED!”

Donkey adds, “YEAH, MY TOESIES
ARE SO TIRED, TOO.
HEE-HAW, I THOUGHT
WE'D BE THERE BY NOW!”

Panda replies,
“I'M JUST TOO TIRED TO MOVE.”

Donkey says,
“OH! ME TOO, PANDA.
BUT WE GOTTA GET MOVING,
SO THAT WE CAN GET
TO THE TIPPY-TOP
OF MT. REALLY HIGH UP!
HOW DO WE GET MOVING?”

Panda responds, “UH…

Panda gasps.

He says, “HEY, DONKEY!
UH, REMEMBER WHAT ALWAYS
GETS US MOVING?”

Donkey replies, “UH…”

Panda adds, “MUSIC!”

Donkey responds, “OH! YES!
YES, MUSIC DOES ALWAYS
GET US MOVING!
OOH, AND GROOVING, TOO!
DON'T FORGET ABOUT
THE GROOVING PART!”

Panda says,
“DONKEY, YOU KNOW I NEVER
FORGET ABOUT THE GROOVING PART!”

Donkey adds,
“WELL, IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S TIME
FOR A LITTLE MOVING
AND GROOVING MUSIC!”

Donkey and Panda sing,
“OHHHH... LET'S MOVE!
AND GROOVE!
LET'S GROOVE!
AND MOVE!
AND WE'RE NOT
GONNA STOP
UNTIL WE GET TO THE TOP!
HEY! HEY!
HEY!
LET'S MOVE!
AND GROOVE!
LET'S GROOVE!
AND MOVE!
AND WE'RE NOT
GONNA STOP
UNTIL WE GET TO THE TOP!
HEY! HEY!
HEY!
LET'S MOVE!
AND GROOVE!
LET'S GROOVE!
AND MOVE!
AND WE'RE NOT
GONNA STOP
UNTIL WE GET TO THE TOP!
HEY! HEY!
HEY!
LET'S MOVE...
AND GROOVE…”

Donkey and Panda slow down.
They look tired as they grunt.

Donkey and Panda continue to sing,
“LET'S GROOVE...
AND MOVE…”

Donkey says, “NOOOO!”

Panda and Donkey fall to the ground.

Panda says, “OOF!”

Donkey adds, “I CANNOT MOVE
OR GROOVE ANYMORE.”

Panda responds, “MMM!”

Donkey stands up and looks at the
peak of Mt Really High Up.

Donkey says, “OH! AH!
AND WE STILL HAVE SUCH
A LONG WAY TO GO!”

Donkey groans as she lies back down.

Panda adds,
“WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT
TO THE TOP.”

Donkey says,
“OH, IT'S JUST TOO HARD.
I CAN'T BELIEVE
WE DIDN'T MAKE IT.”

Grampy shouts,
“DONKEY?
DONKEY DARLING!”

Donkey and Panda look around.
Grampy rises in large pink hot
air balloon.

He says,
“HEY THERE, DONKEY!
HIYA, PANDA!”

Donkey and Panda reply, “GRAMPY!”

Donkey asks,
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING
WAY UP HERE?”

Grampy answers,
“WELL, I CAME TO CHECK ON YOU.”

Donkey says, “OH, GRAMPY!
JUST LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE.”

Grampy responds,
“YEP! LOOKING GOOD!”

Donkey adds, “NO! NO, NO, NO!
WE FAILED!”

Grampy replies,
“WHAT? YOU DIDN'T FAIL!
UNHH!”

Grampy gets out of the hot air balloon
and approaches Donkey and Panda.

Donkey says,
“BUT WE DIDN'T GET ALL
THE WAY TO THE TIPPY-TOP.”

Grampy replies,
“WELL, I DIDN'T GET
TO THE TIPPY-TOP
MY FIRST TIME, EITHER!”

Donkey and Panda say, “YOU DIDN'T?”

Grampy responds, “NO WAY!
JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DO
SOMETHING YET,
DOESN'T MEAN YOU WON'T BE
ABLE TO DO IT ANOTHER TIME.”

Donkey adds, “HEY, YEAH!
HEY, REMEMBER OUR HUGE SNOWMAN,
PANDA?
IT TOOK US SO MANY TRIES
TO MAKE IT!”

Panda replies, “OH YEAH!”

Flashback. Panda and Donkey
roll a large snowball on the ground.
They struggle to push it up a hill.

(Effort grunts)

(Tired panting)

Panda and Donkey fall in the snow.

Panda tosses a snowball on the top
of a larger snowball. The snowball
rolls over the other side.

(Landing thuds)

Donkey says, “OH! AH! AH.”

Panda adds, “WHOA!
WHEW!”

(Grunts)

(Gasping)

Panda tosses up the snowball again.
It rolls over the larger snowball.

Donkey says, “WHOA!”

(Panting)

Donkey shouts, “AGH!”

Donkey and Panda run away
from the rolling snowball.

The snowman’s head teeters
On top of its body. It falls on Donkey’s head.
Donkey runs around, trying to take
it off.

(Snow thuds)

Panda says,
“SO, AFTER A WHOLE DAY
OF TRYING OUR HARDEST…”

Donkey adds, “WE FINALLY DID IT!”

(Wind gusts)

Grampy nods.

He says,
“YEP, EVERY TIME YOU TRY,
YOU CAN LEARN SOMETHING NEW.”

Donkey asks,
“BUT HOW MANY TRIES
WILL IT TAKE?”

Panda adds,
“YEAH, HOW MANY TRIES
WE TALKING ABOUT HERE?”

Grampy answers,
“IT TOOK ME TEN TRIES
TO GET TO THE TOP.”

Panda says, “TEN TRIES!”

Donkey responds,
“THAT'S SO MANY!”

Grampy adds, “IT IS,
BUT I KEPT TRYING!
OH, HEY, THAT'S ONE
OF MY FLAGS OVER THERE!”

Donkey says, “HEY! WE SAW THESE
FLAGS ALONG THE WAY!”

Panda responds, “YEAH, I SAW ONE
NEAR A TREE,
AND THEN I SAW ONE
NEAR SOME ROCKS,
AND THEN I SAW ONE
NEAR A PRETTY FLOWER.”

Grampy replies,
“HM, WELL, THIS FLAG SHOWS
HOW FAR I GOT ON MY FIFTH TRY.”

Panda asks, “WHA-?
IT TOOK YOU FIVE TRIES
TO GET THIS FAR?”

Donkey adds,
“WAIT A MINUTE, WE GOT HERE
ON OUR FIRST TRY.”

Grampy says,
“I KNOW! I CAN'T BELIEVE
HOW FAR YOU BOTH CLIMBED
ON YOUR VERY FIRST TRY!”

Donkey responds,
“HEE-HAW! I GUESS
WE DID PRETTY GOOD!”

Grampy adds, “YEAH, HERE,
LOOK AT THIS.”

Panda says,
“OH WOW, I DIDN'T REALIZE
THAT WE HIKED THIS FAR!”

Donkey, Panda, and Grampy look
down at the colourful valley below.

Donkey adds, “ME, EITHER!
HEY, LET'S PUT OUR FLAG HERE
SO WE CAN MARK HOW FAR WE GOT
ON OUR VERY FIRST TRY!”

Panda says,
“OH YEAH! WE HAVE A FLAG!”

Grampy adds, “MM-HM!”

Donkey states,
“I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU,
PANDA,
BUT I FEEL REALLY GOOD
ABOUT OUR HIKE.”

Panda replies,
“OH, ME TOO, DONKEY!
ME TOO!”

Grampy adds,
“MM-HM! NEXT TIME,
YOU'LL GET EVEN FARTHER.
AND THE NEXT TIME,
EVEN FARTHER THAN THAT!
AND FINALLY, ONE DAY,
YOU'LL REACH
THE TIPPY-TIPPY-TOP
OF MT. REALLY HIGH UP!”

Donkey says,
“WE SURE WILL REACH
THE TIPPY-TOP, YOU KNOW WHY?
TELL HIM, PANDA.”

Panda responds,
“HMM? OH! FOR WE ARE STRONG!”

Donkey repeats, “STRONG!”

Panda says, “AND BRAVE!”

Donkey repeats, “BRAVE!”

Grampy adds, “THAT IS OH SO TRUE!”

Donkey asks,
“HEY PANDA, WHAT DO YOU SAY
WE GO BACK HOME,
REST, AND TRY AGAIN TOMORROW?”

Panda replies, “YES, THAT IS EXACTLY
WHAT I'M THINKING, DONKEY!”

Donkey says, “HEY GRAMPY,
THANKS FOR HELPING US.”

Donkey kisses Grampy on the cheek.

Grampy responds,
“AWW, WELL, YOU'RE WELCOME,
DONKEY, DARLING!
HEY, BEFORE WE HEAD BACK,
HOW ABOUT A PICTURE
OF YOUR FIRST TIME
TRYING TO HIKE UP
MT. REALLY HIGH UP?”

Panda replies “OH YEAH!”

Donkey adds,
“OOH! YEAH! YEP-YEP.”

Grampy holds up a camera to his eye.
Donkey turns to Panda.

She says,
“AND WE'RE GONNA KEEP TRYING…”

Panda and Donkey continue,
“UNTIL WE GET TO THE TOP!”
