[Waves lapping]

Waves roll onto a sandy beach.

A narrator says, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY, AND
PERFECT WEATHER FOR A SWIM IN
THE SEA.

Tee pants as he runs onto the beach.

He says, WHOA!
MO?

Tee looks excited. He pants as he runs on the spot.

Mo says, OOH?

She slowly walks toward Tee. Mo carries a cooler, beach umbrella, rubber floaty and a beach bag.

Tee says, OH-OH-OH-OH!

The narrator says, THAT'S A LOT OF STUFF YOU'VE
GOT THERE, MO.

Mo drops everything onto the beach.

She groans, UGH.

Mo relaxes her shoulders.

She says, OOF.

Tee says, OOH-AH-AH OOH-AH.

He looks excited. He points to the waves rolling onto the beach.

Mo says, OOH-AH.

She holds up 1 finger and reaches into her bag.

The narrator says, YES.
MAYBE MO CAN SET UP AFTER A
QUICK SWIM.

Tee cheers, WHOA!

He throws his hands in the air and smiles. Mo also smiles.

The narrator says, OKAY, BUT FIRST, YOU NEED TO
PUT ON YOUR TRUNKS AND YOUR
ARMBANDS.

Mo blows up a green blow armband. She slides both armbands onto Tee’s arms. Tee grins. He pulls on red swim trunks.

Tee says, OOH-OOH-OOH!

Mo wears a yellow swim suit.

The narrator says, HE'S READY TO SWIM.

Tee says, HA-HA!

He runs toward the water.

[Mo giggles]

She says, OOH-AH.

She runs after Tee. Tee pants as he runs across the beach to the water.

He says, HA-HA!

The narrator says, OKAY, TEE.
IT'S TIME TO SWIM.

Tee says, WHOA.

He spins around closer to the water. A wave rolls onto the beach and splashes into Tee. Tee looks cold.

He says, AH-AH.

The narrator says, OH.
WAS THAT A BIT COOLER THAN YOU
WERE EXPECTING, TEE?

Tee says, OOH-OOH-AH-AH-OOH.

He runs up to Mo and climbs up to her arms.

[Mo giggles]

Mo holds Tee. Tee frowns.

Mo says, TEE, OOH-OOH-AH.

She puts Tee back down onto the beach.

Tee says, UH…

He looks unsure.

The narrator says, GO ON, TEE.
HAVE ANOTHER GO.

Tee says, HMM.

He approaches the water. He looks thoughtful. Tee pauses, then runs away as another wave rolls toward him.

Tee yells, AHH!

He climbs up Mo. He looks nervous.

[Mo giggles]

Mo walks toward the water with Tee.

Mo says, AH-AH, TEE.

She stands in a wave. She tries to lower Tee into the wave but he wiggles in her arms.

Tee says, OOH-AH-EEH.
OOH-AH.

Mo lifts Tee higher.

The narrator says, TEE REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO
GET HIS FEET WET.

Mo puts Tee on the dry sand.

Mo says, TEE?

A wave rolls onto the beach around Mo.

Tee yells, AHHH!

He runs away.

Mo says, HMM.

She walks toward Tee.

The narrator says, MAYBE THERE'S ANOTHER WAY TO
GET TEE TO HAVE A SWIM.

Further up the beach, Tee snuggles in a beach towel under the beach umbrella.

He says, HMM.

Mo walks toward Tee with a bucket. She hums and collects shells in the bucket.

The narrator says, WHAT'S MO UP TO?
LOOKS LIKE SHE'S DOING SOME
SHELL COLLECTING.
THAT LOOKS LIKE FUN, DOESN'T
IT, TEE?

Mo puts down the bucket. Tee watches her collect more shells. Mo picks up a shell and holds it up high.

She says, HA-HA.

Tee says, OH?

He looks curious. Mo looks at another shell on the beach.

She says, WOO.

[Tee gasps]

Tee runs to the shell before Mo can pick it up.

Mo says, OOH.

Tee grabs the shell.

[Tee and Mo laugh]

Tee and Mo smile. Mo grabs the bucket and drops a shell in. She offers Tee the bucket and he adds his shell.

The narrator says, THERE MUST BE MORE SHELLS
AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE.

Tee looks around the beach. He points toward the water.

[Tee gasps]

He says, OOH-AH-AH OOH-AH.

Mo follows Tee toward a line of rocks that lead to the water. Shells are near the rocks. A small wave rolls up to the rocks.

[Tee grunts]

Tee jumps onto one of the smaller rocks. He smiles.

Mo says, OOH-AH?

She hands Tee the bucket and he collects one of the shells.

The narrator says, JUST A LITTLE BIT FURTHER,
TEE.

Tee carefully leaps to the second rock. He stumbles.

He says, AH.
WHOA.

The narrator says, OH, CAREFUL.

Tee lets out a breath and picks up another shell.

[Tee gigglees]

He adds the shell to his bucket.

The narrator says, NOW, JUST GO A LITTLE BIT
FURTHER.

Mo encourages Tee closer to the water. Tee hops to the third rock. He picks up another shell and adds it to his bucket.

He says, AH-HA!

The narrator says, NOW, JUST A LITTLE BIT
FURTHER.

Tee and Mo smile. A big wave crashes against the biggest rock, soaking Tee.

[Tee yelps]

Tee pants.

The narrator says, WELL, NOW THAT YOU'RE WET, TEE,
YOU MIGHT AS WELL HAVE A SWIM.

Tee looks grumpy.

[Tee sighs loudly]

Tee stomps off the rocks and away from the water.

Mo says, OOH.

Tee holds his bucket of shells up to Mo.

Mo says, TEE?

She takes the bucket and Tee stomps past her.

Mo says, HMM.

The narrator says, SURELY THERE MUST BE SOME WAY
TO GET HIM INTO THE SEA.

Mo looks thoughtful. Under the beach umbrella, Tee rests on a beach towel. He drinks from a sippy cup.

[Slurping]

Tee says, AH.

[Shoveling]

A lump of sand lands by Tee’s beach towel.

Tee says, OOH?

He looks curious. A second lump of sand lands by the first.

The narrator asks, WHAT'S MO UP TO NOW, TEE?

Tee joins Mo. They each hold colourful shovels.

Tee says, OOH-AH?

Mo says, OOH-AH.

[Mo hums]

Mo draws a circle in the sand with her shovel.

The narrator says, IT LOOKS LIKE MO WANTS TO
BUILD A SANDCASTLE.
NO DANGER OF GETTING WET DOING
THAT.

Tee says, OOH-AH-AH!

He looks excited. Tee and Mo dig sand out of the circle.

[Tee and Mo grunt]

A wave rolls past the line of rocks on the beach. Tee grunts as he scoops sand with his bucket.

He says, AH.

Tee tosses a bucketful of sand onto a pile in the circle.

He grunts, OOF.

A wave rolls further past the line of rocks on the beach. Tee digs sand with his hands.

[Tee grunts]

He lies on a pile of sand. A wave rolls against the sand as Tee continues digging. Tee stands beside the pile with Mo. They both look thoughtful.

Mo says, HMM.

Tee says, HMM.

Mo smiles and picks up the bucket. She shakes the bucket.

[Shells rattling]

Mo says, OOH-AH-AH!

Tee and Mo decorate Tee’s pile of sand with their collected shells, finishing their sand castle. More shells and pieces of seaweed appear on the castle as waves roll up to it. Tee sits on top of his castle. He adds one bucket of sand to the top and smiles. Mo offers a small flag.

She says, AH-OOH?

Tee says, OH.

The narrator says, OH, LOOK: A FLAG.
GREAT IDEA, MO.

Tee takes the flag.

He says, AH-OOH.

He adds the flag to his castle.

He cheers, WOO-HOO!

The narrator says, IT'S A CASTLE.

Tee’s castle is surrounded by water.

The narrator says, OH.
AND AN ISLAND!

Tee looks at the water.

[Tee gasps]

Tee says, HUH?

He pants as he looks around at the water surrounding his castle.

He says, OOH-OOH OOH-OOH-AH.

Tee reaches for Mo.

Mo says, OOH-AH OOH-OOH-AH.

She takes a step away from the castle and smiles. Tee glances at the water.

He says, UH…

The narrator says, IT LOOKS LIKE THE ONLY WAY
OFF IS TO SWIM, TEE.

Tee frowns.

He says, OOH.

Tee looks nervous.

He says, UH…

[Tee sighs and grunts]

Tee jumps into the water. He lands with a splash. Tee pants nervously but stands in the water.

He says, WOO.

Tee looks surprised. He makes a splash in the water.

He says, WOW.

Tee plays in the water.

[Tee laughing]

The narrator says, SEE, TEE?
THE WATER IS LOVELY ONCE YOU'RE
IN.

Mo smiles as Tee splashes around in the water.

Tee says, OOH-OOH-OOH.

He splashes Mo.

[Mo gasps]

She says, HUH?

Mo smiles at Tee.

[Both laughing]

The sun sits on the horizon as Tee and Mo have fun in the water.

[Laughing]
