An animated logo reads: Let’s Go For A Walk

Ranger Hamza is on the deck of a cabin. He wears a red jacket.

Ranger Hamza says, HELLO. I'M RANGER HAMZA, WELCOME TO MY HUT. BEING A RANGER MEANS I GET TO SPEND LOTS OF TIME OUTSIDE. SOMETIMES IT'S DRY; SOMETIMES IT'S RAINY. WHEN IT'S WET, I LOVE TO LISTEN TO THE SOUND OF THE RAIN. ALL THE DRIPS AND SPLASHES.

Ranger Hamza picks up a backpack.

Ranger Hamza says, I'LL BE GOING ON A WALK WITH THE RAMBLERS TODAY TO A MEADOW. WE'LL BE GOING THROUGH THE WOODS. WHATEVER THE WEATHER, WE'RE GONNA HAVE AN AMAZING WALK. WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME ALONG, TOO? COME ON, LET'S GO.

Animated trees and buildings pop up.

Three children in orange jackets hold hands with three adults. They all walk along a forest path.

Ranger Hamza says, TODAY'S RAMBLERS ARE... TEDDY... FINLAY... AND ESTELLE.

An animated map appears.

Ranger Hamza says, WE'RE GOING TO MEET UP AND WALK THROUGH THE WOODS TO A HIDDEN MEADOW. WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME ALONG?

Ranger Hamza walks along the path.

Ranger Hamza says, IT'S GONNA BE A MUDDY ADVENTURE TODAY. HI, RAMBLERS!

The children call, HI!

Ranger Hamza I SEE YOU GOT YOUR WELLIES ON. READY FOR A WALK?

The Ramblers say, YEAH!

Ranger Hamza says, COME ON, THEN.

He and the children wave to the adults.

All say, BYE!

Ranger Hamza says, SEE YOU LATER. YOU GONNA ENJOY YOUR DAY TODAY?

The Ramblers say, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza asks, SO, WHAT D'YOU THINK WE'LL SPOT ON OUR WALK TODAY?

Estelle has long brown hair in two braids.

Estelle says, A BUG!

Ranger Hamza says, INDEED.

Teddy has curly blonde hair.

Teddy says, I CAN SEE ROCKS.

Ranger Hamza says, ROCKS. LOTS OF ROCKS.

Finlay has short blonde hair.

Finlay says, I CAN SEE LEAVES.

Ranger Hamza says, YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL FIND ON A WALK THROUGH THE WOODS.

Estelle points at a golf ball on the ground.

Estelle says, GOLF BALL.

Ranger Hamza says, OH, LOOK AT THAT.

Teddy says, A GOLF BALL!

Ranger Hamza says, A GOLF BALL. THAT IS COOL.

Finlay picks up the golf ball.

Ranger Hamza asks, WHAT COLOUR IS IT?

Teddy says, WHITE.

Finlay says, WHITE.

Ranger Hamza says, WHITE. IT'S A WHITE BALL, WITH TWO LITTLE RED DOTS ON IT. I WONDER IF WE'LL SPOT MORE WHITE THINGS ALONG OUR WALK TODAY. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN, AND AT THE END, WE'LL SEE HOW MANY YOU GOT.

Ranger Hamza looks at the Ramblers.

Ranger Hamza says, ALRIGHT, LET'S PUT IT BACK, WE'LL LEAVE IT WHERE WE FOUND IT. PERFECT. NOW, COME ON, LET'S GO.

Teddy says, WHAT IF WE HAVE A LITTLE, WHAT IF WE MAKE A LITTLE LIST SO WE KNOW WHAT WE FIND?

Ranger Hamza says, WHAT A GREAT IDEA. YOU COULD MAKE A LIST OF ALL THE COOL THINGS WE'LL SEE.

Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers walk down a path among the trees.

Ranger Hamza says, SOME TREES.

Teddy says, I CAN SEE A BRIDGE!

Finlay says, AND I CAN SEE A BRIDGE!

Ranger Hamza says, WELL SPOTTED. SHALL WE GO AND HAVE A CLOSER LOOK?

The children cry, YEAH!

A narrow bridge has a green fence running along both sides.

Ranger Hamza says, COME ON, THEN. LET'S SEE.

Teddy says, LET'S GO ACROSS IT.

Finlay says, LOOKS REALLY HIGH. HEY, LOOK AT THAT CREEK DOWN THERE.

Teddy says, WOAH!

Ranger Hamza says, WE'RE SO HIGH UP.

Finlay crouches down on the bridge.

Finlay says, HOLES.

Ranger Hamza says, AH, SO YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THE BRIDGE.

Metal flooring has a mesh pattern.

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, AAAHHH.

Teddy says, YEAH. YOU MIGHT FALL THROUGH THE HOLES.

(Gasps)

Ranger Hamza says, IT'S OKAY, TEDDY. THESE HOLES ARE WAY TOO SMALL FOR US TO FALL THROUGH.

Estelle says, I, I CAN SEE A RIVER.

Ranger Hamza says, THE RIVER.

Estella and Teddy say, YEAH.

Teddy says, WHAT GOES REALLY FAST AND THEN QUITE SLOW, LIKE A ROLLERCOASTER.

Ranger Hamza says, OOOOOHH.

Estelle says, I THINK IT GOES AROUND THE CORNER AND UNDER THE BRIDGE.

Ranger Hamza says, YEAH. AND WHERE DOES IT GO WHEN, ONCE IT GOES UNDER THE BRIDGE? WHERE DOES IT END UP?

Estelle says, AND THEN IT GOES UP TO THE TREES. THE RIVER WINDS THROUGH THE WOODS LIKE A SNAKE, ALL THE WAY TO A YELLOW FLAG.

A golf course is in the distance.

Estelle says, MAYBE IT'S A GOLF PLACE.

Ranger Hamza says, YEAH, IT LOOKS LIKE A GOLF COURSE, DOESN'T IT?

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, SO, THAT'S WHERE THE GOLF BALL CAME FROM.

Two people in the distance have golf bags.

Finlay says, THEY'RE PLAYING SOMETHING!

The children cry, GOLF!

Finlay asks, GOLF?

Ranger Hamza says, YEAH! LET'S HAVE A LOOK.

A person swings a golf club.

(Smack)

Estelle says, I JUST HEARD IT GO IN THE FLAG.

Ranger Hamza says, YES. DID YOU HEAR IT FALL THROUGH THE TREES AND INTO FLAG?

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, WOW.

Teddy cries, I HEARD IT, TOO.

Ranger Hamza says, YOU DID?

Teddy says, HE'S GONNA HIT IT TO THE FLAG.

Ranger Hamza asks, IS HE?

Teddy says, OKAY.

(Smack)

A golfer swings and hits a ball.

Teddy cries, HE'S HIT THE BALL.

Finlay says, YEAH, I SEEN THE BALL FLYING.

Ranger Hamza says, NOW, GOLF IS A REALLY GOOD WAY TO HAVE A WALK, CAUSE AS SOON AS YOU HIT THE BALL, YOU HAVE TO GO AND FIND OUT WHERE IT IS, WALK TO IT, AND HIT IT AGAIN.

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, COME ON, THEN. LET'S GO.

Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers cross the bridge. A green golf course is surrounded by the woods.

Ranger Hamza says, THERE ARE LOTS OF FLAGS ON A GOLF COURSE.

A child’s voice says, THESE FLAGS LOOK LIKE WAVES ON THE SEA.

(Waves)

Ranger Hamza asks, HOW MANY CAN YOU SPOT?

Numbered flags are on the golf course.

Estelle says, ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR... FIVE.

Golf carts are lined up.

Ranger Hamza says, AND LOTS OF GREEN BUGGIES, TO GET AROUND THE GOLF COURSE. BEEP-BEEP.

Ranger Hamza leads the children along a path. Teddy points at a bush.

Teddy says, I CAN SEE, LIKE, LITTLE, TINY LEAFS.

Ranger Hamza says, OOH, SO, HAVE A LOOK AT THESE LITTLE, TINY LEAVES. SO, EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOK SPIKY, THEY'RE NOT SPIKY, SO IF YOU SQUEEZE IT... AND THEN SNIFF YOUR FINGERS... YEAH?

The children sniff.

Estelle says, SMELLS LIKE MINT.

Ranger Hamza asks, MINT?

Teddy says, IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE!

Ranger Hamza says, OOOH, CHOCOLATE.

Estelle says, CHOCOLATE LAVENDER.

Finlay says, IT SMELLS LIKE FLOWER.

Ranger Hamza asks, IT SMELLS LIKE...?

Finlay says, FLOWER.

Ranger Hamza says, THEY SMELL BEAUTIFUL, DON'T THEY? THIS PLANT IS CALLED BLUE JUNIPER, AND IT'S SAFE FOR US TO TOUCH. WHEN YOU SQUEEZE THE LEAVES, THEY GIVE OFF A NICE SMELL.

The Ramblers look at the plant.

Ranger Hamza says, WHAT DO THESE TREES AND PLANTS EAT?

Finlay says, EM, WATER.

Ranger Hamza says, WATER, PERFECT.

Teddy says, UUUM... ORANGE JUICE.

Ranger Hamza says, ORANGE JUICE? OOH, I'VE NEVER SEEN A TREE EAT ORANGE JUICE.

Estelle says, I HAVE.

Ranger Hamza asks, YOU HAVE?

Estelle says, YEAH, IT EATS WITH ITS BRANCHES AND THEY PRETEND TO HAVE A MOUTH AND THEN THEY GO LIKE...

(Chomping noises)

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, JUST LIKE THAT?

(Giggling)

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza asks, SHALL WE KEEP ON LOOKING?

The Ramblers cry, YEAH!

Ranger Hamza says, COME ON, THEN. LET'S GO.

Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers walk among the trees.

(Music playing)

Ranger Hamza says, WATER AND ORANGE JUICE. WHAT A THIRSTY TREE.

An animation appears on the juniper showing it smiling and drinking an orange juice box.

Ranger Hamza says, IT'S GETTING A BIT WET. LUCKILY, WE HAVE OUR HOODS UP.

Raindrops fall on leaves.

The Ramblers chant, RAIN! DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP...

Ranger Hamza chants, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP, DROP...

Estelle says, I CAN FEEL THE RAIN ON MY FACE.

The children look up.

Estelle says, CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN TO THE RAIN.

Rain falls in a puddle.

Ranger Hamza and the children walk.

Teddy says, DRIP, DRIP, DRIP.

Rain falls on stone steps.

Ranger Hamza says, THE RAMBLERS WANT TO BE RAINDROPS, TOO. DRIPPING DOWN THE STEPS.

Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers walk down the steps.

Ranger Hamza and the children say, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN...

Ranger Hamza asks, WHAT CAN YOU COUNT UP TO?

Estelle says, EIGHT... NINE... TEN...

Animated numbers appear on the steps.

The Ramblers say, ELEVEN... TWELVE... THIRTEEN... FOURTEEN...

Ranger Hamza says, WE'RE ONLY HALFWAY THROUGH OUR WALK AND ALREADY WE'VE SEEN A HIGH BRIDGE OVER A WINDY RIVER...

The animated map appears.

Ranger Hamza says, SOME SWEET-SMELLING PLANTS, AND WE WERE RAINDROPS DRIPPING DOWN THE STEPS. LET'S CONTINUE OUR WALK TO THE HIDDEN MEADOW. DON'T FORGET TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR ANYTHING THAT'S THE COLOUR WHITE.

(Music playing)

Estelle says, THE RAIN MAKES THE GROUND MUDDY.

Leaves move in the rain. Bubbles coat the surface of a puddle.

Estelle says, LOTS OF FROTHY BUBBLES.

All count, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR.

Ranger Hamza says, KEEP YOUR HANDS MOVING.

The Ramblers sing, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR...

The Ramblers walk along the path.

Teddy says, LET'S SEE IF WE SEE A, IF, IF THERE...

Finlay says, LOOK!

There is a narrow tree stump on the ground.

Estelle says, IT'S SMALL.

Ranger Hamza says, IT'S SMALL.

Estelle says, IT CUT DOWN.

Ranger Hamza says, SOMEONE'S CUT IT DOWN, BUT IS IT STILL DEAD?

Teddy says, NO, BECAUSE LOOK, LOOK AT THE LEAVES.

There are leaves growing from the stump.

Ranger Hamza says, SO, EVEN THOUGH THAT SOMEONE CUT THE TREE DOWN, YOU CAN STILL SEE NEW SHOOTS ARE GROWING.

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, COOL, ISN'T IT?

Estelle says, YEAH.

Teddy says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza asks, CAN ANYONE SEE...

Ranger Hamza narrates, THE RAMBLERS ARE TRYING TO WORK OUT WHERE THE TOP OF THE TREE IS.

Finlay points.

Finlay cries, THERE!

Ranger Hamza says, OH, IT'S THIS ONE. AH. HAVE A LOOK AT THIS.

They look at a fallen tree.

Estelle says, THERE'S, IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THIS TOP.

Ranger Hamza says, IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE TOP...

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, BUT IT DOES LOOK LIKE THE TREE HAS BEEN CUT DOWN FROM HERE, AND THAT'S THE OTHER END, RIGHT?

Estelle says, THAT ONE HAS, LIKE, A LITTLE STEP DOWN.

Ranger Hamza says, UH-HUH, THAT'S GOT A LITTLE STEP DOWN...

There is a notch in the stump.

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, GO AND SEE IF THAT ONE HAS A LITTLE STEP DOWN.

Estelle says, IT HAS A BIG STEP DOWN.

Ranger Hamza says, IT HAS A BIG STEP DOWN. SO, THIS LITTLE STEP DOWN IS THE SAME AS THIS LITTLE STEP DOWN...

Estelle says, IT FITS LIKE A JIGSAW.

Ranger Hamza says, SO, IT'S LIKE A JIGSAW AND THEY FIT TOGETHER.

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, ALRIGHT. SHALL WE KEEP ON GOING? COME ON, RAMBLERS.

Raindrops hit a puddle.

Ranger Hamza says, IT'S GETTING VERY WET NOW.

(Plinking raindrops)

Estelle says, THE WOODS HAVE TURNED INTO A RAINFOREST.

Animated leaves and vines appear.

(Bird squawking)

Ranger Hamza says, IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, THERE'S LOTS OF WILDLIFE IN THE RAINFOREST.

A centipede moves over wood.

Estelle says, HELLO, MISTER CENTIPEDE. YOU'RE IN A HURRY.

A bird hops on a branch.

Ranger Hamza leads the children through the trees. A large tree has fallen, exposing its roots.

Estelle cries, THAT ONE--

Ranger Hamza says, WELL SPOTTED, ESTELLE.

Finlay says, IT LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE DEN.

Ranger Hamza asks, D'YOU KNOW WHAT A TREE LOOKS LIKE UNDER THE GROUND?

Estelle says, UH, ROOTY?

Ranger Hamza says, ROOTY, YEAH. THESE ARE ALL THE ROOTS. CAN YOU SEE? THERE'S GOT BIG ROOTS, SMALL ROOTS, THIN ONES...

Teddy points, MEDIUM!

Ranger Hamza says, MEDIUM ONES. A TREE HAS LOTS OF ROOTS, AND THEY REACH REALLY FAR DOWN INTO THE GROUND, AND THE TREE HAS BEEN PULLED FROM THE GROUND, AND IT'S FALLEN OVER. DO YOU THINK THAT THE WIND COULD'VE BROUGHT THE TREE DOWN?

Teddy shouts, YEAH!

Ranger Hamza says, YEAH.

The Ramblers inhale and blow towards the tree.

(Ranger Hamza makes falling sounds)

Ranger Hamza says, IT'S FALLEN DOWN.

(Laughs)

Ranger Hamza says, WE'RE REALLY POWERFUL, AREN'T WE?

Teddy says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, YEAH.

(Blows at tree)

Ranger Hamza asks, SHALL WE KEEP ON GOING?

Teddy cries, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, COME ON, THEN. LET'S GO THIS WAY.

Ranger Hamza walks through the woods. He moves a branch out of the way.

Ranger Hamza says, I LOVE USING MY IMAGINATION.

The Ramblers have colourful umbrellas.

Ranger Hamza says, OH, WOW.

Ranger Hamza has a clear umbrella.

Ranger Hamza says, INTO THE RAINFOREST WE GO.

The Ramblers say, DARK.

Ranger Hamza asks, WHY IS IT DARK?

Estelle says, ‘CAUSE THERE'S SO MANY TREES.

Ranger Hamza says, THERE'S SO MANY TREES? AND WHAT DO THE TREES DO?

Estelle says, COVER US UP WITH THEIR BRANCHES.

Ranger Hamza says, YEAH.

Green leaves, speckled with dark spots, are overhead.

Estelle says, THE LEAVES MAKE A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS.

Ranger Hamza says, THE TREES KEEP THE FOREST DARK. AND THEY MAKE A GREAT SHELTER FOR ANIMALS AND BIRDS.

(Birdsong)

A birdhouse is in a tree.

Ranger Hamza calls, LET'S GET OUTTA THIS DARK RAINFOREST.

Estelle says, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza asks, CAN ANYONE FIND A PLACE WHERE IT'S LIGHT?

The Ramblers point.

All cry, THERE!

Ranger Hamza says, OVER THERE. OH RIGHT, LET'S GO, LET'S SEE IF WE CAN GET OUT. D'YOU GUYS WANNA LEAD THE WAY?

Finlay says, I CAN SEE A LIGHT.

The Ramblers and Ranger Hamza walk into a meadow.

Teddy says, OH! THIS IS COOL!

Finlay says, THIS IS REALLY REALLY COOL!

Ranger Hamza says, THIS IS AMAZING.

(Children chattering)

Ranger Hamza says, WOW, WE'RE IN LONG GRASS. ONE MINUTE, WE'RE IN THE RAINFOREST; AND THE NEXT... WE'RE OUTSIDE IN A MEADOW.

The meadow is wide open, with hills in the distance.

Estelle says, I CAN SEE THE VIEW. FOGGY, AND WE SEE LOTS OF LITTLE BROWN THINGS.

Teddy says, I CAN SEE JUST A HOUSE.

Ranger Hamza says, WELL, WE'VE MADE IT TO THE END OF OUR WALK. WASN'T THAT FUN?

The Ramblers say, YEAH.

The animated map appears.

(Music playing)

Ranger Hamza says, WE MET UP AND WALKED TO A HIGH BRIDGE OVER A WINDY RIVER.

Teddy cries, I CAN SEE A BRIDGE!

Finlay says, LOOKS REALLY HIGH.

Ranger Hamza says, SAW SOME SWEET-SMELLING PLANTS.

Teddy says, SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE!

Ranger Hamza says, OOOH, CHOCOLATE.

Footsteps move over the map.

Ranger Hamza says, AND PRETENDED TO BE RAINDROPS DRIPPING DOWN THE STEPS.

All counting, ONE, TWO, THREE...

Ranger Hamza says, THEN WE SAW A TREE THAT SOMEONE HAD CUT DOWN. AND ANOTHER TREE BLOWN OVER BY THE WIND... BEFORE WE EXPLORED THE DARK RAINFOREST. NOW, WE'VE MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE HIDDEN MEADOW.

Ranger Hamza holds the umbrella.

Ranger Hamza asks, REMEMBER I ASKED YOU TO LOOK OUT FOR SOME WHITE THINGS ALONG OUR WALK TODAY? HOW MANY DID YOU SPOT?

(Music playing)

A golf ball lies on the ground.

Ranger Hamza says, THE FIRST THING WE SAW WAS A GOLF BALL. DID YOU SPOT ANY OF THESE?

A white building is near the golf course. A woman walks on the path holding a white bag. White froth is on a puddle.

Animated trees pop up.

Ranger Hamza says, WELL, I HOPE YOU ENJOYED OUR WALK TODAY. WE CERTAINLY DID. NEXT TIME YOU GO FOR A WALK, WHY DON'T YOU KEEP YOUR EYES AND EARS OPEN, AND YOU CAN HAVE AN ADVENTURE, TOO.

Ranger Hamza waves and says, BYE!

The Ramblers say, BYE!

Ranger Hamza asks, SHALL WE ALL PRETEND TO BE PARROTS FROM THE RAINFOREST?

The Ramblers say, YEAH.

Ranger Hamza says, COME ON, THEN, LET'S GO.

(Squawking like birds)

Ranger Hamza flaps his arms as he runs over the meadow with the children

Ranger Hamza calls, I'M A PARROT. I'M A PARROT.

(Children squawking)

Ranger Hamza calls, FLAP YOUR WINGS! MAKE SURE YOU'RE FLYING.

(Squawks)

(Music playing)
