[Upbeat music plays]

Ranger Hamza walks behind three children who wear bright orange shirts. Hamza wears a red shirt and wears his long, waist length black hair tied back.

[Mooing, children shout]

A child sings, WALKING IN THE COUNTRY,
BY THE SEA OR IN THE TOWN
SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS TO SEE.

Children look at sheep. Hamza and a girl move pinch their fingers together as they move sideways.

A boy says, HELLO TREE!

The child sings, IF YOU STOP TO LOOK AROUND
OPEN YOUR EYES, OPEN YOUR EARS
PAUSE AND TAKE THINGS IN.
LET'S PACK OUR BAG, GET KITTED OUT.

A boy hits a ball with a bat.

[Thunk]

The child sings, LET THE WALK BEGIN
LET'S GO FOR A WALK.

A girl jumps excitedly as she holds a clear umbrella over her head.

[Child shouts]

The child sings, WITH RANGER HAMZA BY OUR SIDE.

A girl says, WE'RE HUGGING THE TREE.

The child says, LET'S GO FOR A WALK
THERE'S ADVENTURE WITH EVERY STRIDE.
LET'S GO FOR A WALK.

Ranger Hamza walks under a bridge as children run over it.

Children sing, AHH, AHH, AHH.

The child sings, IN EVERY KIND OF WEATHER.

Children sing, AHH, AHH, AHH.

The child sings, LET'S GO FOR A WALK.

Children walk around the trunk of a large tree.

Children sing, AHH, AHH, AHH.

The child sings, EXPLORE OUTSIDE TOGETHER.

Animated footprints move around houses and buildings on a hill. To the upper left of the hill, an animated cloud blocks the edge of a sun. Snowflakes fall from the cloud. Beneath the snowflakes, a dark blue cloud floats. To the upper right of the hill, snowflakes fall from a cloud. Beneath that, a second snow cloud floats by a crescent moon. Text reads “Let’s go for a Walk.”

[Footsteps, chimes]

[Relaxing music plays]

Tall trees grow behind a wooden cabin. Hamza sits on a wooden chair on the porch of the cabin. He wears a red coat and grey pants. Hamza holds a white bowl with a spoon in it in his right hand.

Hamza says, HI THERE, I'M
RANGER HAMZA. WELCOME
TO MY HUT. I LOVE HAVING
FRUIT WITH MY BREAKFAST.

He gestures to three slices of green apple in white yogurt.

Hamza says, APPLES ARE MY
FAVOURITE. THEY'RE SO TASTY
AND CRUNCHY.

THERE'S LOTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES.
DO YOU LIKE APPLES, TOO?

I'M GOING ON A WALK WITH THE
RAMBLERS TODAY TO A PLACE
WHERE THERE'S LOTS OF APPLES.
IT'S CALLED AN ORCHARD.

DO YOU WANT TO COME ALONG?
COME ON.

LET'S GO FOR A WALK.

[Popping]

He says, I'VE GOT THREE RAMBLERS
JOINING ME ON MY WALK TODAY:
BRYN, POPPY AND HARRY.

IT MIGHT BE MUDDY, SO WE'RE
WEARING OUR WATERPROOFS
AND WELLIES.

Bryn wears his blond hair short. He wears a bright orange jacket over an orange shirt. Poppy wears her long blonde hair in a ponytail. She wears an orange jacket over an orange shirt. Harry wears his pale blond hair short. He wears an orange jacket over an orange shirt and a blue shirt.

[Upbeat music plays]

Hamza says, WE'LL START AT
THE FARMHOUSE.

A FRIENDLY FARMER IS LETTING US
WALK THROUGH THEIR FIELDS, AND
WE'LL FINISH AT THE ORCHARD,
WHERE WE'VE BEEN INVITED TO
PICK SOME APPLES.

Animated footprints appear on a dirt path on a map. The footprints move away from a house, past fields, and stop at three apple trees.

Hamza says, I WONDER WHAT
WE'LL SEE ALONG THE WAY.

HI, RAMBLERS!

The children say, HI!

Hamza asks, READY TO GO FOR A WALK?

The children say, YEAH.

Hamza says, COME ON, THEN.
LET'S SAY BYE TO YOUR PARENTS.

Children say, BYE!

Three parents wave as the children walk away.

Hamza says, SEE YOU SOON!

WHAT DO YOU THINK WE'RE
GOING TO SEE TODAY?

Poppy says, SQUIRRELS.

Hamza says, SQUIRRELS, YEAH.

Bryn says, COWS.

Hamza says, COWS, THAT'S
A GOOD POINT.

Bryn adds, AND LEAVES.

Hamza says, LEAVES. SQUIRRELS,
COWS AND LEAVES?

SOUNDS LIKE WE'RE GOING TO
HAVE A GREAT WALK.

Hamza pulls a latch and opens a gate.

[Click]

Hamza says, SO, WE'LL GO THROUGH
THIS GATE.

NOW, REMEMBER, IN THE
COUNTRYSIDE, EVERY TIME WE GO
THROUGH A GATE, IF IT'S CLOSED,
WE HAVE TO CLOSE IT ON OUR WAY
BACK AGAIN. YOU SEE? JUST LIKE
I'M DOING NOW.

[Clatter]

Hamza says, THERE'S LOTS OF
GATES IN THE COUNTRYSIDE.

WHY DON'T YOU KEEP YOUR EYES
OUT FOR MORE GATES AND AT THE
END WE'LL SEE HOW MANY
YOU SPOTTED?

SO, WHY DO WE NEED TO CLOSE
THE GATE BEHIND US?

A child says, BECAUSE THEY
MIGHT ESCAPE.

Hamza says, YEAH, THE ANIMALS
MIGHT ESCAPE.

[Birds chirp, mellow music plays]

Hamza narrates, IT'S EARLY IN
THE MORNING, WHICH MEANS WE
MIGHT SEE THINGS NOW THAT WE
WON'T LATER, LIKE THESE DROPS
OF WATER ON THE PLANTS.

WATER LIKE THIS IS CALLED DEW.

Poppy narrates, THE DEW DROPS
LOOK LIKE LOTS OF LITTLE BUBBLES.

POP, POP, POP!

Harry says, THAT'S A
GIANT MUSHROOM!

Hamza asks, WHERE?

Harry runs towards the mushroom.

Harry says, THERE!

Hamza says, OH, YEAH, I SEE IT.

THERE ARE LOTS OF DIFFERENT
TYPES OF MUSHROOMS THAT
GROW IN THE WILD.

SOME MUSHROOMS ARE POISONOUS,
SO YOU MUST NEVER, EVER TOUCH,
PICK OR EAT WILD MUSHROOMS.

Bryn says, IT MIGHT BE A SPACESHIP.

Hamza says, OOH...

Poppy says, YEAH, MAYBE.

Hamza asks, A SPACESHIP MUSHROOM?

Bryn says, YEAH, A MUSHROOM SPACESHIP.

Hamza asks, SO, YOU CAN USE IT TO FLY?

Bryn and Poppy say, YEAH.

Hamza says, THAT'S A PRETTY
COOL SPACESHIP!

Harry says, THEY FLY.

Bryn says, THEY'RE OFF.

Hamza says, AND THEY'RE OFF!

THE RAMBLERS ARE SPACESHIPS,
FLYING OFF TO THE MOON.

Hamza, Harry, Bryn, and Poppy hold their arms out to the their sides as they run through grass.

Hamza says, WHOOSH!

[Giggling]

Hamza says, VROOM!

A child says, WHOA!

Hamza says, LET'S GO OVER
HERE INTO THE SUNSHINE.

VROOM!

Poppy says, VROOM!

[Birds chirp]

Hamza says, IT'S STILL EARLY,
BUT EVERYONE IS WORKING
HARD ON THE FARM.

A farmer pulls a trailer behind his red tractor.

Poppy says, THE FARMER HAS
LOTS TO DO TODAY.

BYE-BYE, FARMER.

[Cattle lows]

Hamza says, OH, LOOK AT
THE COWS!

Harry says, THEY'RE EATING
AS MUCH AS THEY WANT.

Bryn says, HAY.

Hamza says, OKAY.

Poppy says, GRASS.

Hamza says, GRASS?

Bryn says, BECAUSE THERE IS
LOADS OF GRASS AROUND THERE.

Hamza says, A-HA, I SEE.

Bryn asks, WHY ARE YOU
STARING AT US, SILLY COW?

Hamza says, YEAH, HE'S STARING
AT US.

Harry says, ARE YOU STARING AT
US NOW? NOW, EVERYBODY'S
STARING AT US.

Harry and Bryn say, MOO!

Hamza says, MOO!

[Cows low]

[Hamza gasps, upbeat music plays]

Bryn says, THEY'VE GOT HORNS
ON THEIR HEADD.

Hamza says, YEAH, THEY HAVE.
THEY'VE GOT TWO HORNS AND
THEY STICK OUT JUST LIKE THAT.

Hamza stretches his arms up in the air. Bryn copies him.

Poppy says, IT'S SWISHING ITS TAIL.

Hamza and the children wiggle their bottoms.

Hamza says, THE RAMBLERS SWISH
THEIR TAILS, JUST LIKE THE COWS.

SWISH, SWISH, SWISH!

[Cows low]

Hamza narrates, LET'S CARRY ON
WITH OUR WALK WHILE THE COWS
FINISH THEIR BREAKFAST.

A child sings, LET'S GO FOR A WALK
EXPLORE OUTSIDE TOGETHER.

[Popping, birds chirp]

Poppy points.

Hamza narrates, LOOK, THE
RAMBLERS HAVE SPOTTED
SOMETHING ELSE.

Poppy shouts, MOLEHILL!

Hamza says, A MOLEHILL?
THAT'S COOL, POPPY.

LOOK AT THIS ONE. RAMBLERS, C
OME AND HAVE A LOOK
AT THIS ONE.

THAT'S A MOLEHILL.

SO, WHY DO THEY PUSH IT UP?

Bryn says, SO, THEY CAN GET OUT.

Hamza asks, IS THAT HOW THEY
GET OUT?

Poppy says, AND IF THEY DON'T
WANT TO GET IN, THEY COVER IT UP.

Hamza says, SO, IT'S A WAY OF
DISGUISE? THEY COVER IT IN?

WHEN A MOLE DIGS A TUNNEL UNDER
THE GROUND, IT PUSHES THE SOIL
UP TO THE SURFACE, MAKING
LITTLE HILLS.

Bryn says, IT HAS SHARP CLAWS,
SO IT CAN GO...

[Makes scratching sound]

Hamza says, A-HA! SO, THEY DIG?
RIGHT, POPPY...

Bryn says, AND THEN, WHEN-- WHEN
SOMEBODY COMES PAST, THEY DIG IT
BACK IN QUICKLY.

Hamza says, SO, THEY HIDE.
WE CAN FOLLOW THE HILLS TO SEE
WHERE THE MOLE DUG ITS TUNNEL.
I WONDER IF WE'LL FIND ONE.

An animated moles pokes its head out of a hole.

[Pop]

A child says, THERE YOU ARE!
HELLO, MOLE!

The animated footprints walk to a mushroom, past cows, and past mounds of dirt.

[Moo, pop, upbeat music plays]

Hamza says, WE'RE HALFWAY
THROUGH OUR WALK ON THE FARM
AND ALREADY WE'VE SEEN A GIANT
MUSHROOM... SOME FRIENDLY
COWS... AND LOTS OF MOLEHILLS.

I WONDER WHAT ELSE WE'LL SEE
ON OUR WALK TO THE ORCHARD.

DON'T FORGET TO LOOK OUT FOR
MORE GATES ALONG THE WAY.

[Rustling]

Bryn says,LOOK AT THE SHAPES
OF THE WALLS.

Hamza says, WOW!

Bryn says, I SAW AN ANT.

Hamza says, UH-HUH.

Bryn says,AND A WORM. THEY
MIGHT BE HIDING FROM
THE BIRDS.

Hamza says, AH, SO, THEY'RE USING
THE STONE TO HIDE FROM THE BIRDS.

I THINK THE BIRDS WILL HAVE TO
WAIT FOR THEM TO COME OUT,
WOULDN'T YOU?

SHALL WE TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT
THE WALL?

Bryn says, YEAH, LET'S GET...

Hamza says, I'VE GOT SOME LOVELY
EQUIPMENT THAT WE CAN USE.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT...

Bryn says, MAGNIFYING GLASS!

Hamza asks, HOW DID YOU GUESS?
MAGNIFYING GLASS.

SO, YOU CAN HOLD THAT ONE.
THAT ONE'S FOR YOU.

AND THERE YOU GO, BRYN.

Bryn says, YOU'RE MASSIVE!

Hamza says, AND ONE FOR ME.
SO, SHALL WE HAVE A LOOK?

CAN YOU SPOT ANYTHING?

IT LOOKS LIKE BRYN WAS RIGHT.
THE WORMS AND THE INSECTS ARE
HIDING FROM US TODAY.

SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN SEE.

Popp looks at her reflection in the magnifying glass.

Poppy says, WHAT I CAN JUST
SEE IS ME.

Hamza says, KEEP LOOKING.
YOU MIGHT SPOT A BUG.

LOOK HOW THE STONES
FIT TOGETHER.

Green, yellow, red and blue lines highlight the stones in the wall.

[Scratching sound]

Poppy says, IT'S LIKE A
JIGSAW PUZZLE.

[Birds chirp, upbeat music plays]

Hamza says, WE'RE NOT THE ONLY
VISITORS ON THE FARM TODAY.

A robin stands on the top of the stone fence.

Poppy says, HELLO, ROBIN.

A child asks, IS THAT A BIG GATE?

Hamza says, IT'S A BIG GATE,
ISN'T IT?

Poppy says, SOMEONE LIVES HERE.

Hamza says, ALL RIGHT, COME ON,
THEN. LET'S GO.

A child shouts, SHUT THE DOOR!

Hamza says, EXACTLY, WE'VE GOT
TO SHUT THE DOOR. WE'VE GOT
TO SHUT THE GATE AFTER WE
COME IN.

I KNOW THE FARMER HERE AND
HE SAID IT'S OKAY TO GO IN.

[Click]

Harry says, SHEEP! SHEEP!

Hamza says, OH, LOOK AT THOSE!

[Sheep baa]

Hamza says, BAA!

The children say, BAA, BAA!

[Sheep bleat]

Poppy says, ANIMALS ARE CUTE
AND THEY CAN JUMP.

Hamza asks, THEY CAN JUMP?
HOW DO THEY JUMP?
CAN YOU SHOW ME?
HOW DO THEY JUMP? READY?
ONE, TWO, THREE, GO!

Hamza and the children jump.

Hamza says, THE SHEEP'S FLEECE
IS CLIPPED OFF AND TURNED INTO
WOOL TO MAKE COSY CLOTHES.

Bryn says, BUT FIRST, YOU HAVE
TO KNIT IT FIRST.

Hamza says, THAT'S RIGHT, BRYN.
BUT HOW WOULD YOU KNIT
THE WOOL?

[Sheep bleat]

Bryn says, THEY HAVE IT ON NEEDLES.

Hamza asks, DO YOU WANT TO
SEE WHO CAN KNIT THE LONGEST
SCARF? YEAH?

LET'S ALL PRETEND, OKAY?

OOH, LOOK AT YOUR SCARF, POPPY!
MINE'S GROWING AND GROWING.
THAT'S A BIG SCARF!

Poppy says, THE SHEEP'S WOOLLY
COAT KEEPS IT WARM IN WINTER.

An animated blue touque and scarf appear on a black ram.

[Bleating]

Poppy says, BRR!

A child says, A LOAD OF HAY!

Hamza says, WELL SPOTTED.
DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A
CLOSER LOOK? COME ON, THEN.

THE RAMBLERS HAVE SPOTTED
THE HAY BALES AND ARE SEEING
WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE.

The children sit on bales of hay.

Bryn says, HARD.

Hamza says, YEAH, IT'S HARD.

Bryn says, WHEN IT'S ALL IN,
IT'S A BIT-- REALLY HARD.

Hamza says, YEAH. BUT THEN,
WHEN IT'S ALL FLUFFED OUT...

Bryn says, IT'S REALLY SOFT.

Hamza says, IT'S REALLY SOFT.

Bryn says, FEEL IT.

Hamza says, LET ME FEEL IT.

Harry says, LOOK AT THAT BIT.

Hamza says, WOW, THAT'S SOFT.

SO, WHY DO THEY KEEP THE HAY
IN HERE?

Poppy says, TO STAY DRY.

Hamza says, IT'S TO STAY DRY,
THAT'S RIGHT.

Poppy says, SO, THE ANIMALS
CAN EAT IT.

Hamza says, YEAH.

Bryn says, SO, IT DOESN'T GET
ALL MUSHY.

Hamza says, YES, THAT'S RIGHT.

SO, THEY KEEP IT NICE AND DRY
IN HERE IN THIS HAY BARN, SO
THAT, WHEN THE WINTER COMES,
THEY CAN FEED THE ANIMALS
SOME HAY.

THE HAY ALSO MAKES A COMFY BED
FOR THEM. IMAGINE WE WOKE UP
AND ATE OUR BEDS. THAT WOULDN'T
BE TASTY, WOULD IT?

ALL RIGHT, SHALL WE GO AND SEE
SOME OTHER STUFF?

The children say, YEAH!

Hamza says, COME ON, THEN.
LET'S GO.

Harry asks, CAN WE GO AND GET
SOME APPLES?

[Upbeat music plays]

Hamza says, YEAH, WE CAN GO
AND PICK SOME APPLES.

An animated grey mouse sleeps under a blue blanket on a hay bale.

[Snoring]

A child says, THE MOUSE IS COSY
IN ITS HAY BED.

SHH... IT'S SLEEPING.

Hamza narrates, WE'RE CARRYING
ON WITH OUR WALK, BUT WHAT
HAVE THE RAMBLERS SPOTTED
'ROUND THE CORNER?

Poppy shouts, TRACTOR!

Hamza says, WHOA, LOOK AT THIS
ONE! WE CAN'T GO INSIDE, OKAY?
BUT WE CAN HAVE A LOOK
FROM HERE.

Hamza and the children stop at an open door and look at a green tractor parked in a barn.

Poppy says, IT'S GREEN.

Hamza says, IT'S GREEN, UH-HUH.

Poppy says, IT HAS A MASSIVE SEAT.

Hamza says, YEAH.

Harry says, SO, THAT ONE'S BIG
AND THAT ONE'S LITTLE.

Hamza says, WHAT ARE?

Harry says, THE TIRES.

Bryn says, SOMETIMES YOU GET
STUCK, BUT SOMETIMES, WHEN
YOU HAVE A BIG ONE AND A SMALL
ONE, IT'S A BIT EASIER TO GO
OVER THINGS.

Hamza says, RIGHT.

Poppy says, HEADPHONES.

Hamza says, AND WHAT DOES HE
USE THEM FOR?

Poppy says, SO, HE DON'T HEAR
THE NOISE.

Hamza says, YEAH.

Poppy says, THE TRACTOR CAN BE
VERY LOUD.

BROOOOM, BROOOOM!

Bryn says, LOOK!

Hamza asks, WHAT CAN YOU SEE?

Bryn says, A QUAD BIKE.

Hamza says, LOOK AT THAT!

Harry says, QUAD BIKES!

The children and Hamza say, BROOOOM!

Hamza says, VROOOM,
DING-DING-DING.

Bryn says, VROOM!

A woman wears a black helmet on her head. She wears black boots, black pants and a navy blue jacket as she walks towards the quad bike.

[Crunching dirt, upbeat music plays]

The woman says, HI, RANGER HAMZA!
HI, RAMBLERS!

The children say, HI!

Hamza says, HELLO!

THE FARMER'S GOING TO DRIVE
THE QUAD BIKE AROUND THE
FIELDS. LET'S STAND WELL BACK
AND LET HER COME THROUGH.

[Quad bike engine revs]

Hamza and the children wave at the farmer.

They shout, BYE!

Hamza says, HAVE A LOVELY DAY!

A child sings, EXPLORE OUTSIDE TOGETHER.

[Popping, upbeat music plays]

Hamza says, THERE'S LOTS OF
SIGNS ON THE FARM.

A child says, THEY TELL US
WHERE IT'S SAFE TO WALK.

THIS WAY!

[Panting]

Harry shouts, APPLE TREES!

Hamza says, WELL, DONE.
AN APPLE TREE.

WE MADE IT TO THE ORCHARD AND
WE'RE ALLOWED TO GO IN AND PICK
THE APPLES, BUT BEFORE WE GO IN,
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER WHAT WE
DID TODAY?

[Cheerful music plays]

The animated footprints move on the map from the farmhouse, to the mushroom, past the cows and moleholes,

Hamza says, WE MET UP AT THE
FARMHOUSE AND FOUND A GIANT
MUSHROOM. IT WAS IMPORTANT
WE DIDN'T TOUCH IT.

Bryn says, IT MIGHT BE A SPACESHIP.

Hamza says, WE TALKED TO SOME
FRIENDLY COWS...

[Cows low, Hamza gasps]

Hamza says, AND SAW LOTS OF MOLEHILLS.

Poppy says, MOLEHILL.

[Pop]

Hamza says, A MOLEHILL!

The animated footprint moves to a wall and to a sheep pen.

Hamza says, WE LOOKED AT
THE WALL THROUGH OUR
MAGNIFYING GLASSES...

[Boing]

Poppy says, WHAT I CAN JUST
SEE IS ME.

Hamza says,...KNITTED SCARVES
WITH THE SHEEP...

[Bleating]

Hamza says, OOH, LOOK AT YOUR
SCARF, POPPY!

...AND SAW FARM VEHICLES WITH
DIFFERENT-SIZED WHEELS.

The footprints stop beside graphics of a green tractor and red quad bike.

Hamza and the children say, BYE!

The animated footprints stop by apple trees.

[Footsteps]

Hamza says, NOW, WE'RE AT THE
ORCHARD, WHERE WE'LL PICK
SOME APPLES.

TO GO TO THE ORCHARD, WE HAVE
TO GO THROUGH THIS GATE.

THAT REMINDS ME, HOW MANY GATES
DID YOU SPOT ON OUR WALK TODAY?
DID YOU SEE ANY OF THESE ONES?

Photographs and video clips show gates the Ramblers walked through, gates in front of cows, and closed gates.

[Popping]

Hamza says, WELL, I HOPE YOU
ENJOYED OUR WALK TODAY.

WE CERTAINLY DID.

NEXT TIME YOU GO FOR A WALK,
WHY DON'T YOU KEEP YOUR EYES
AND EARS OPEN AND YOU CAN
HAVE AN ADVENTURE TOO?

Hamza and the Ramblers wave.

They say, BYE!

Hamza asks, DO YOU WANT TO
PICK SOME APPLES?

The children shout, YEAH!

Poppy picks a green apple. The children reach up and pick apples from the trees and drop them in a pail Hamza holds.

Hamza says, COME ON, THEN.
THERE YOU GO. WONDERFUL!
AH, PERFECT!
