An animated sun shines. Mandisa waves beside a tree. Mandisa has black hair held back with a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt.

An animated owl and ladybug move around Mandisa. Mandisa holds a hand puppet crafted out of a paper bag and a cardboard robot.

A title reads: Curious Crafting

(Music playing)

Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom with two children. One child has short black hair, and the other child has brown hair in two pigtails. The children hold stuffed bears.

Mandisa says, YOUR BEAR FRIENDS LOOK SO CUTE. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A TEDDY BEAR BAG?

The brown-haired child says, NO!

Mandisa holds up a half-circle decorated to look like a bear’s face.

Mandisa says, I USED TWO PAPER PLATES. WOULD YOU LIKE TO CRAFT ONE OF YOUR OWN?

The brown-haired child nods.

Mandisa says, OK, LET'S GO GET WHAT WE NEED.

(Music playing)

Mandisa and the children stand up and walk around the room, gathering supplies.

Mandisa narrates, WE'RE GOING TO NEED A PAPER PLATE. SOME STRING. GOOGLY EYES. A BOTTLE OF GLUE, A GLUE STICK AND TAPE AND SOME CONSTRUCTION PAPER.

(Paint brush slide)

Mandisa asks, WHAT COLOUR IS MY BEAR?

The black-haired child says BROWN.

Mandisa says, BROWN. THAT'S RIGHT. WE'RE GOING TO PAINT OUR BEARS BROWN. OK, I'VE GOT ONE PAPER PLATE THAT I CUT IN HALF. YOU WANT TO SQUEEZE OUT SOME PAINT TO PAINT YOUR PAPER PLATE BROWN.

The brown-haired child says, I CAN DO IT, I'M STRONG.

Mandisa says, OK.

(Music playing)

The children use sponge brushes to paint paper plates.

Mandisa asks, PIPER, DO YOU LIKE PAINTING?

Piper says, YEAH.

The black-haired child says, ME TOO, I LOVE PAINTING.

Piper says, I'M DONE.

Mandisa says, THESE LOOK GREAT. NOW WE CAN LET THEM DRY.

(Rattling sound effect)

Mandisa says, TIME TO MAKE OUR BEAR FACE! CONSTRUCTION PAPER EARS. AND THEN I HAVE A CONSTRUCTION PAPER NOSE FOR YOUR BEAR. GLUE THE PINK INNER EAR ONTO YOUR EAR.

The children use glue sticks.

Piper says, I PUT MY EARS ON.

Mandisa says, GOOD. NOW YOU CAN STICK YOUR NOSE ON YOUR BEAR'S MOUTH.

Piper holds up a circle of paper.

Piper asks, IS THIS THE NOSE?

Mandisa says, THIS IS THE NOSE. AND THAT'S YOUR BEAR'S MOUTH.

Piper says, PUT LOTS OF GLUE ON THIS.

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT. AND YOU CAN GLUE IT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE THERE.

(Slide whistle)

Animated eyes appear in the middle of the table and look around.

Mandisa says, PERFECT. NOW IT'S TIME TO DRAW OUR BEARS...

The black-haired child says, MOUTH!

Piper says, MOUTH!

The children use markers to draw.

Mandisa asks, IS YOUR BEAR SMILING, ARJAY?

Arjay says, LIKE, HE'S LIKE...

Arjay smiles widely.

Mandisa says, NICE!

(Music playing)

Arjay holds up the bear’s face.

Arjay says, LOOK MINE HAPPY!

An animated smile appears.

Mandisa says, YOURS IS HAPPY! NOW IT'S TIME TO GIVE OUR BEAR SOME...

Both children say, EYES!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT. OK, I HAVE SOME GOOGLY EYES HERE. YOU CAN CHOOSE TWO GOOGLY EYES.

Mandisa holds a bowl filled with googly eyes.

Piper says, I WANT PURPLE.

Arjay says, I WANT YELLOW.

The children press the eyes onto their bear faces.

Arjay says, LOOK AT THIS, IT'S HAPPY!

Mandisa says, NOW WE'RE GOING TO TURN OUR BEARS INTO A BAG. I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU SOME TAPE TO TAPE YOUR STRING TO THE INSIDE OF YOUR BEAR'S FACE. KEEP THAT IN RIGHT THERE. GOOD JOB.

Mandisa helps the children tape string to the bears.

Arjay asks, CAN WE DECORATE THIS?

Mandisa says, YEAH. OK, NOW WE HAVE TO PUT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF OUR BEAR BAG. YOU'RE GOING TO PUT SOME GLUE ON THE EDGE OF YOUR PAPER PLATE.

The children squeeze glue bottles. They press the halves of the paper plates together.

Mandisa says, ALL DONE.

(Chiming)

Mandisa says, TAKE A LOOK. THEY LOOK SO GREAT. SHOULD WE PUT ON OUR TEDDY BEAR BAGS?

Piper says, YEAH.

The children put the strings over their heads, so the bears hang at their sides.
