A person says, WHEE!

An animated sun shines brightly as a plane flies through the sky. An owl sits on a tree branch beside host Mandisa, who waves. Mandisa has black hair held back by a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt.

An animated ladybug lands on a flower beside Mandisa. A bus drives down a street as Mandisa walks down a path. Mandisa wears a fox hand puppet crafted out of a paper bag and holds a cardboard robot. Mandisa smiles.

A title reads, Curious Crafting.

Mandisa walks toward a table in a playroom with two children. She wears denim overalls over a white shirt.

Mandisa says, IT'S GETTING CHILLY OUT THERE.

Mandisa takes a seat at the table. A child with short black hair wearing a blue shirt and a child with black hair in pigtails wearing a pink shirt join Mandisa at the table.

The child with pigtails says, YEAH!

Mandisa says, SEBASTIAN, WHEN YOU'RE PLAYING
IN THE SNOW,
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO MAKE?

Sebastian, the child with short black hair, says, A SNOWMAN.

Mandisa says, A SNOWMAN!
ME TOO.
IN FACT, I HAVE A SNOWMAN THAT
WE CAN MAKE INSIDE...

Mandisa pulls out a paper plate snowman craft.

The child with pigtails cheers, YAY!

Mandisa says, …RIGHT HERE.
WHO WANTS TO BUILD A SNOWMAN
INSIDE.

The child with pigtails cheers, ME!

Both children raise their hands.

Mandisa says, OK, LET'S GO GET OUR SUPPLIES.

Mandisa and the children leave the table. The children collect craft supplies.

Mandisa narrates, WE'RE GOING TO NEED A
PAPER PLATE,
CONSTRUCTION PAPER,
GOOGLY EYES, BUTTONS, GLITTER,
WAX PAPER AND GLUE,
SPONGE STAMPERS AND PAINT.

Mandisa sits at the table with the children and their crafting supplies.

Mandisa says, OK, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A
SNOWMAN OUT OF PAPER PLATES,
BUT FIRST WE'RE GOING TO MAKE
THE STAINED GLASS WINDOW TUMMY
OF OUR SNOWMAN.

Mandisa points to the centre of the paper plate snowman.

Mandisa says, CAN I GET YOU TO SQUEEZE
OUT SOME GLUE
ALL OVER YOUR
WAX PAPER THERE.

The child with pigtails squeezes glue onto wax paper.

Mandisa says, ALL OVER.
OH, GOOD.
GOOD.
GOOD.
THAT'S GREAT.
ELLIE.

Mandisa takes the glue from Ellie, the child with pigtails, and squeezes blue paint onto Sebastian’s wax paper.

Mandisa says, AND THEN YOU WANT TO SQUEEZE OUT
SOME BLUE ALL OVER, ALL OVER.

Mandisa helps Ellie squeeze blue paint onto the wax paper.

Mandisa says, GOOD.
NOW YOU CAN TAKE YOUR
LITTLE STAMPER
AND YOU CAN STAMP
ALL OVER,
MIX THE COLOURS
TOGETHER
AND MAKE A BEAUTIFUL
WINTER SCENE.

Sebastian and Ellie mix the glue and paint together with sponge stampers.

Mandisa says, GOOD.
NOW WE'RE GOING TO ADD SOME
GLITTER TO OUR SNOWMAN'S BELLY.
SHAKE IT ALL OVER.

The children sprinkle different blue glitter over their paint and glue mixture.

Mandisa says, AWESOME.
AND WE CAN SWITCH.

Sebastian and Ellie trade glitter.

Mandisa says, YOU CAN HAVE YOUR STAMPER BACK
AND YOU CAN
MIX THE GLITTER IN THE PAINT TO
MAKE A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE SCENE.

The children mix the glitter in with the glue and paint. Mandisa and the children sit at the table clear of crafting supplies.

Mandisa says, WHILE OUR SNOWMEN STAINED GLASS
WINDOW DRIES,
LET'S BUILD THE REST OF OUR
SNOWMAN.
I HAVE TWO PAPER PLATES HERE.
CAN YOU GLUE YOUR HEAD ONTO THE
BODY OF YOUR SNOWMAN?

Sebastian says, OK.

The children work with the centre of a paper plate that’s been cut out, and the remaining rim of the paper plate.

Mandisa asks, WHAT SHOULD WE ADD NEXT TO OUR
SNOWMAN?

Ellie says, UM, EYES.

Mandisa says, HERE ARE YOUR GOOGLY
EYES, ELLIE.

Ellie picks a googly eye from a bowl. Ellie and Sebastian glue googly eyes onto the centre cut outs of paper plates.

Mandisa asks, SEBASTIAN, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE
TO ADD NEXT
TO YOUR SNOWMAN?

Sebastian says, A MOUTH.

Mandisa says, A MOUTH, OK, CAN YOU CHOOSE
SOME BUTTONS FOR YOUR
SNOWMAN'S MOUTH?

Ellie glues a button to their snowman.

Sebastian says, I'M MAKING A SNOWMAN!

Ellie says, SNOWMAN.

The children work on their craft. Ellie glues on a red scarf.

Mandisa says, IT'S GOING TO BE ITS
CARROT NOSE.

Ellie glues on a carrot nose made of construction paper.

Mandisa asks, ELLIE, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO
CALL YOUR SNOWMAN?

Ellie says, UM, GILL.

Mandisa holds circles cut out from the children’s stained glass art.

She says, I HAVE YOUR DRY STAINED GLASS
WINDOW HERE, SEBASTIAN.

Mandisa passes Sebastian one of the stained glass windows.

Mandisa says, WE'RE GOING TO FLIP OVER
YOUR SNOWMAN
AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO
PUT SOME GLUE
ON THE CIRCLE
RIGHT THERE.
AND THEN WE CAN PLACE YOUR TUMMY
RIGHT THERE.

Mandisa helps Sebastian and Ellie glue down their stained glass windows.

One of the children says, OH CUTE!

The other says, GOOD.

Mandisa says, THERE YOU GO.
OK, WHAT'S THE LAST THING WE
NEED FOR OUR SNOWMAN?

Ellie says, BUTTONS!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.

Sebastian and Ellie glue buttons onto their snowmen.

Mandisa says, GREAT.
OH, MY GOODNESS, THESE SNOWMEN
LOOK SO GREAT,
LET'S HOLD THEM UP AND SHOW
EVERYBODY.
CAN YOU SHOW ELLIE YOUR SNOWMAN?

Sebastian and Ellie hold up their snowmen. Mandisa holds up hers.

Mandisa says, HELLO!
Mandisa and the children play with their snowmen creations.

Sebastian says, HELLO!

Mandisa asks, WHAT'S YOUR NAME?

Sebastian says, I'M KICKING
THE BALL.

Mandisa says, OH, I'M GOING TO KICK A
BALL TOO.
