A person says, WHEE!

An animated logo reads: tvokids + Riverbank Pictures Original.

(Giggling)

(Cheerful music plays)

An animated sun shines brightly as a plane flies through the sky. An owl sits on a tree branch beside host Mandisa, who waves. Mandisa has black hair held back by a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt.

An animated ladybug lands on a flower beside Mandisa. A bus drives down a street as Mandisa walks down a path. Mandisa wears a fox hand puppet crafted out of a paper bag and holds a cardboard robot. Mandisa smiles.

A title reads, Curious Crafting.

Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom. She wears a green headband and denim overalls over a light green shirt. Two children run up and join her at the table. One has black hair in pigtails while the other has short brown hair.

One of the children says, HELLO!

Mandisa says, I HAD AN IDEA FOR A
CRAFT TODAY.
BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE
I LEFT IT.

The black haired child says, OH I DON'T
NO, WHERE?

(Rattling)

A snake craft lowers beside Mandisa.

Mandisa says, OH! THERE IT IS.
THIS IS MY FRIEND SLITHER THE
SNAKE.

Slither the Snake is draped over Mandisa’s shoulder.

Mandisa says, SSSSS.

The black haired child says, CAN WE MAKE
A SNAKE?

Mandisa says, YOU SURE CAN.
BUT FIRST, WE HAVE TO GET OUR
SUPPLIES.
LET'S GO GET THEM.

The black haired child says, CAN I GET THEM?

Mandisa and the children leave the table. The children collect craft supplies.

Mandisa narrates, WE'RE GOING TO NEED
FOAM SHAPES.
GOOGLY EYES.
GREEN, ORANGE AND RED
CONSTRUCTION PAPER.
AND A GLUE STICK.

Mandisa sits at the table with the children and their crafting supplies.

Mandisa says, FIRST THING'S FIRST, WE'RE GOING
TO MAKE
THE CHAIN OF THE SNAKE AND WE'LL
GET OUR PAPER STRIPS.

The brown haired child grabs a strip of green paper.

They say, I'LL GET MY PAPER STRIP.

Mandisa says, AND WE'RE GOING TO PUT A LITTLE
BIT OF GLUE.
CAN YOU PUT A LITTLE BIT OF GLUE
AT THE END?

Mandisa helps the children spread glue on the end of their strips of paper.

Mandisa says, AND WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A CIRCLE
JUST LIKE THAT.

Mandisa glues one end of the brown haired child’s paper strip to the other, making a circle.

Mandisa asks, CAN YOU SQUEEZE RIGHT THERE?

The brown haired child says, SURE.

The child takes the circle from Mandisa and holds the ends in place.

Mandisa says, GOOD!

Mandisa helps the black haired child with a red strip of paper.

Mandisa says, AND YOU CAN SQUEEZE RIGHT THERE
TO MAKE A CIRCLE.
LOTS OF GLUE.

The brown haired child starts on another stirp of paper.

Mandisa says, GOOD.
AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO SLIDE IT
THROUGH HERE
BEFORE YOU MAKE A CIRCLE, ELLIE.

Mandisa helps Ellie, the black haired child, with another strip of paper.

Mandisa says, SLIDE IT THROUGH TO YOUR OTHER
CIRCLE.

Ellie slides a strip of paper through a glued together circle.

Mandisa says, RIGHT.
GOOD.

The brown haired child glues together a red circle looped through their green circle, starting a chain.

The child says, I DID MY BEST FOR THE CHAIN.

Mandisa helps Ellie with her chain.

Mandisa says, GOOD AND WHICH COLOUR ARE YOU
GOING TO CHOOSE NEXT LUKE?

Luke, the brown haired child, says, GREEN.

Mandisa says, GREEN, OK.

Luke says, GREEN IS MY FAVOURITE.

Ellie says, GREEN IS MY
FAVOURITE TOO.

Ellie and Luke add more circles to their chains.

Mandisa says, ELLIE, WHAT SOUND DOES
A SNAKE MAKE?

Ellie imitates a snake.

She says, SSSSSSSS.

Luke holds up his chain.

He says, I HAVE A SNAKE.

Ellie holds up her chain.

She says, I HAVE ALL OF THEM.

Mandisa says, NOW WE'RE GOING TO DECORATE
OUR SNAKES
USING SOME FOAM SHAPES.

Mandisa holds out a bowl of foam shapes.

Luke asks, CAN I PICK ONE?

Mandisa says, YOU SURE CAN.

Luke picks out a foam shape.

He says, A SQUARE.

Ellie says, HEART.

Mandisa says, OKAY.

Luke says, I'LL MAKE IT WITH TWO
THINGS ON ONE SPOT.

Mandisa says, YOU SURE CAN DO THAT.

Ellie and Luke decorate their snake crafts with the foam shapes.

Mandisa says, NOW IT'S TIME TO ADD THE
SNAKES...

Mandisa points to a part of her snake craft.

Luke says, …HEAD!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT!
I HAVE SOME CONSTRUCTION
PAPER HERE
SO YOU CAN TAKE ONE HEAD EACH
AND A TONGUE.

The children collect paper cut outs from Mandisa.

Mandisa asks, SO WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO PUT
YOUR SNAKE'S TAIL?

Mandisa helps Ellie with her snake.

Mandisa says, AT ONE END.

Luke says, LET ME PUT THIS TONGUE
IT CAN MAKE A SOUND.

He works on his snake craft.

Mandisa says, GOOD.

(Snake sounds)

Ellie and Luke work on their snakes.

Mandisa says, OK.
OUR SNAKES ARE ALMOST DONE.
BUT WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED?

Luke says, EYES!

Ellie says, EYES!!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
I HAVE A BOWL OF GOOGLY EYES.

Mandisa brings out a bowl of googly eyes.

Luke says, WOW, I WONDER WHICH ONE I
WILL PICK!

Ellie reaches for the googly eyes.

Luke says, GREEN EYES.

Mandisa says, I THINK THERE'S ANOTHER
GREEN EYE.

Luke picks his googly eyes.

Mandisa says, THEN YOU'RE GONNA PUT YOUR EYE
ON TO YOUR FACE.

The children glue the googly eyes to their snakes.

Luke says, I DID IT.

Ellie says, ALL DONE.

Mandisa says, NICE JOB, YOUR SNAKES LOOK
SO GREAT.
LET'S TAKE OUR SNAKES IN THE
GRASS.

Mandisa and the children move their snakes across the table.

Ellie says, IT IS MY
BIRTHDAY.

Luke says, GUESS WHAT I BROUGHT
SOME FOOD FOR US.

(Laughter)
