An airplane flies past the smiling sun. An owl wears a red, yellow, and black sweater. Mandisa Watts, a dark-haired woman, waves as she stands under a tree in a park. She wears a peach-coloured shirt under her blue denim overalls. A floral patterned scarf is tied around her head and pink earrings dandle to her shoulders.

A ladybug lands on a purple flower in front of Mandisa. A school bus travels down a road while a green dinosaur climbs on a bench and a penguin dances in a field.

A puppet fox and a cardboard robot jump into Mandisa’s hands while a giraffe leaps out from behind a bush.

The title reads, “Curious Crafting”.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple crayons streak across the screen.

Mandisa holds a green creature made of cardboard and googly eyes as she sits at a green table in a colourful craft room. Behind her, a purple wall features a pink flamingo with a very long neck. Crafts, markers, and crafting tools are displayed on shelves on the other walls.

A girl with long dark hair tied up in braids looks up at Mandisa. She wears a bright purple and red sweater. On Mandisa’s right side, a girl with long dark hair sits up on her pink stool. The girl wears a blue and pink patterned sweater.

Mandisa says,
OH, THIS IS MY FRIEND, CROCKEY.
HE CRAWLS IN FROM TIME TO TIME.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO PET HIM?

The girl wearing the patterned sweater says,
YES

The kids reach out to the crocodile. Mandisa pretends to bite them and they laugh.

She says,
HUMPH, I GUESS HE WAS HUNGRY.
DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A CROCODILE?

The kids shout, YEAH!

Mandisa says,
ALL RIGHT, WE'RE GOING TO NEED
SOME SUPPLIES,
THINGS LIKE BUBBLE WRAP AND A
CARDBOARD TUBE.
SHOULD WE GO GET THEM?

The girl with braided hair replies, YEAH!

Mandisa says, OK.

The kids run around the room and pick up craft supplies. They rush back to the table.

Mandisa says,
WE'RE GOING TO NEED GREEN
PAINT STICKS,
FOAM BALLS, GLUE AND A
PAINT BRUSH,
CARDBOARD TUBES.
BUBBLE WRAP.
CARDBOARD.
AND DON'T FORGET GREEN
CONSTRUCTION PAPER.

Mandisa sits with the kids at the table. Craft supplies lay in front of them.

Mandisa asks,
WHAT COULD WE USE FOR OUR
CROCODILE'S BODY?

The girl wearing the patterned sweater answers,
TUBE.

A green crayon makes a check mark.

Mandisa says,
A CARDBOARD TUBE, THAT'S RIGHT.
OH, THANK YOU, MCKENNA.
OK, CAN YOU PRESS DOWN ON YOUR
CARDBOARD TOO,
JUST A LITTLE BIT?
WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A LITTLE
BIT FLATTER.
OK. WE'RE GOING TO GIVE OUR
CROCODILE
SOME SCALY SKIN.
YES.
BUBBLE WRAP WILL WORK PERFECTLY.
WE NEED TO WRAP IT AROUND OUR...

McKenna, the girl wearing the patterned sweater, says,
TUBE...

Mandisa replies,
CARDBOARD TUBE.
YES.
SO WE'RE GOING TO DO IT
LENGTHWISE.

The kids wrap bubble wrap around their cardboard tubes.

Mandisa says,
WE'RE GOING TO USE SOME DOUBLE
SIDED TAPE
TO STICK IT DOWN SO YOU CAN PUT
SOME TAPE
RIGHT ON THE INSIDE HERE.
DIP OUR PAINTBRUSHES INTO GREEN
PAINT RIGHT HERE.

The kids paint the bubble wrap green.

McKenna says, I NEED MORE.

(Cartoon scale)

Googly eyes watch the kids build their crocodiles.

Mandisa says,
AND OUR HANDS ARE GOING
TO GET DIRTY,
BUT THAT'S OK, WE CAN WASH THEM
OFF AFTERWARDS.
WHAT MAKES OUR CROCODILE CRAWL?

The girl with dark braided hair answers,
FEET!

McKenna says, FEET!!

Mandisa hands the kids cardboard.

She says,
THERE'S SOME FEET FOR YOU.
YOU'RE GOING TO COLOUR
THEM GREEN.
I GOT SOME GREEN PAINT
STICKS HERE.

The kids colour the cardboard with a bright green marker

McKenna says,
THIS IS A PAINT
DAY TODAY.

Mandisa replies,
IT IS A PAINT DAY.
DO YOU LIKE PAINTING?

McKenna answers,
YEAH.
ME TOO.
ALL RIGHT NOW WE CAN
PUT OUR FEET
ON OUR CROCODILE'S BODY.

The girl with dark braided hair pours more paint on her crocodile.

She says,
THIS ONE NEEDS A
SQUEEZE TOO.

Mandisa replies,
PRESS DOWN.
GOOD JOB, AND THEN WE'RE GOING
TO PRESS IT.
THEN YOU'RE GOING TO PUT
YOUR CROCODILE BODY
RIGHT THERE, GOOD.
WE HAVE TO GIVE OUR
CROCODILE SOME...

McKenna says, EYEBALLS!

Mandisa replies,
EYEBALLS, WHAT DO YOU SEE THAT
CAN MAKE, OH, EXACTLY.
TAKE TWO EYEBALLS.
AND TWO EYEBALLS.

The kids pick round white balls out of a yellow bowl. They colour them with markers.

Mandisa says,
MAKE A SMALL CIRCLE FOR
AN EYEBALL FOR YOUR CROCODILE.
YOU GUYS ARE DOING SUCH A
GOOD JOB.

McKenna asks, IS THIS AN EASY ONE?

The girl with dark braided hair glues on her crocodile’s eyeballs.

Mandisa says,
DONE.
I HAVE TWO COLOURS HERE, ORANGE
AND GREEN.

The kids put orange spikes on the back of their crocodiles.

Mandisa says,
OK, AND THE LAST THING WE NEED
TO DO IS
GIVE OUR CROCODILE SOME
NOSTRILS.
SO WE'RE JUST GOING TO MAKE
TWO LITTLE NOSTRILS FOR OUR
CROCODILE.
SO ONE, RIGHT, YEAH,
RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS NOSE,
ONE THERE.
AND THEN ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE.

The kids use paintbrushes to paint black nostrils on the crocodiles.

Mandisa asks,
CAN YOU SHOW ME HOW YOUR
CROCODILE CAN CRAWL?

Mandisa and the kids push their crocodiles across the table.

The girl with braided dark hair says,
HE FOUND A LOT OF FISH.

Mandisa replies,
HE'S EATING EVERYTHING.

The dinosaur, the penguin, the robot, the fox, the giraffe, and the owl smile in the park. The school bus travels down the road.
