A paper bag fox hops onto show host Mandisa’s hand. Mandisa has black hair held back by a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt. She stands against an animated background. A cardboard robot lands beside Mandisa. Mandisa holds the robot and smiles.

A title reads, Curious Crafting.

Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom. She wears a green headband with a peach shirt under denim overalls. Children sit on either side of Mandisa. One of the children has short brown hair and the other has long black hair.

Mandisa asks, DO YOU LIKE DINOSAURS?

The short haired child says, YEAH!

The long haired child says, YEAH!

Mandisa says, ME TOO.
MY FAVOURITE DINOSAUR IS A
STEGOSAURUS.

She places a stegosaurus craft on the table.

She says, I MADE THIS USING A PAPER PLATE
AND A CARDBOARD TUBE.

Scissors cut through paper. At the table, Mandisa cuts a paper plate in half.

She narrates, TO MAKE THIS CRAFT AT HOME,
CUT YOUR PAPER PLATE IN HALF.

Mandisa’s other crafting supplies are on the table.

She narrates, CUT A CARDBOARD TUBE IN HALF
AND AROUND THE EDGES.

Mandisa cuts a cardboard tube in half. She cuts a dip into each of the tube pieces so there is a half-circle on opposite sides of the tubes.

She narrates, AND MAKE TWO SLITS
ALONG THE SIDE.

Mandisa makes small cuts on either side of the cardboard tube where the half-circles meet. She starts to paint one of the paper plate halves.

She narrates, PAINT YOUR PAPER PLATE GREEN.
PAINT YOUR CARDBOARD TUBE LEGS A
DARK GREEN.

Mandisa paints her tube legs dark green.

She narrates, GLUE YOUR DINOSAUR'S TAIL.
SPINE.
AND HEAD.

Mandisa glues paper cut outs to the green paper plate so it starts to look like a stegosaurus

She narrates, GLUE ON SOME GOOGLY EYES AND
DRAW A SMILE.

Mandisa draws a nose and smile under googly eyes on the dinosaurs head.

She narrates, USE A SPONGE BRUSH OR A Q-TIP TO
DRAW TOES,
SPOTS ALL OVER YOUR DINOSAUR.
ATTACH THE LEGS, STAND IT UP,
AND YOU DINOSAUR IS COMPLETE.

Mandisa stands her completed craft on the table. A paint brush reveals Mandisa and the children with their stegosaurs crafts.

Mandisa asks, SHOULD WE MAKE THEM ROAR?

The children say, ROAAAARRRRRR!

Mandisa and the children play with their stegosaurs crafts.

They say, ROAR, ROAR, ROAR, ROAR, ROAR!
