Little Malabar is a curious little boy who travels in space jumping on planets. He is blond and wears a white t-shirt with the sun and blue shorts.

Little sings, TO THE MOON AND BACK.

Little giggles.

He says, HA-HA!

Little jumps from a planet to an asteroid.

He sings, I JUMP ON EVERY PLANET
AND EVERY STAR
C'MON, LET'S GO FAR.
EXPLORE THE WHOLE UNIVERSE,
LITTLE MALABAR.

A narrator says, THE SPINNING-TOP PLANET.

Waves spin on a planet. Little Malabar pulls on a pair of goggles.

He says, HI THERE, TURTLES!
TODAY I AM GOING TO GO
SWIMMING WITH THE FISH.
YOU WANT TO COME WITH ME?

A big turtle and little turtle both nod. The little turtle squeaks and jumps into water. Little Malabar grunts and cannon balls into the water. Underwater, fish swim past. Little Malabar swims deeper into the water. The big turtle follows him. Little Malabar and the turtles reach a school of fish swimming in a circle.

Little Malabar says, WHOA!
COME ON!
LET'S GO INTO THE CIRCLE!

Little Malabar points to the fish. The little turtle squeaks. Little Malabar and the little turtle swim toward the fish.

Little Malabar says, HEY, BIG TURTLE!

Little Malabar and the little turtle swim into the circle of fish.

Little Malabar says, COME WITH US!

The big turtle says, MOU!

The big turtle follows Little Malabar and the little turtle. The fish leave. Little Malabar and the turtles pop back up above water.

Little Malabar says, BIG TURTLE, YOU CAUSED HAVOC
IN THE CIRCLE OF FISH!

The little turtle giggles.

(Chuckling)

Malabar and the turtles look above them.

The sun says, SHE DID LIKE THE SPINNING-TOP
THAT PLOUGHED THROUGH
THE CIRCLE OF PLANETS!

Little Malabar says, HUH? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING
ABOUT, SUN? A SPINNING TOP?

The sun says, THAT'S RIGHT! WE CALLED IT
THE SPINNING-TOP PLANET!

A planet says, YOU MEAN TO SAY...
THE BIG SPINNING-TOP!

A rock floating around the planet says, IT CAUSED CHAOS!
IT SUCKED UP ALL THE ROCKS
BIG AND SMALL LIKE US!

Another rock says, BUT WE AVOIDED THAT
BIG SPINNING-TOP!

Little Malabar and the little turtle stand on the big turtle. The little turtle squeaks.

Little Malabar says, OH, YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO THAT
SPINNING-TOP PLANET IS AS WELL?

The Little turtle squeaks.

Little Malabar says, ALL RIGHT, LET'S GO!

Little Malabar leaps off the big turtle with the little turtle on his shoulder. He flies through space and leaps off a planet. He lands on one of the rocks.

Little Malabar says, HELLO THERE, ASTEROIDS!
SAY, WHO WAS THE
SPINNING-TOP PLANET?

The asteroid Little Malabar stands on says, YOU KNOW, LITTLE MALABAR,
IT WAS A VERY LONG TIME AGO!

A second asteroid says, WAY BACK THEN, THERE WERE
THOUSANDS OF ROCKS THAT
TURNED AROUND THE YOUNG SUN,
IN AN IMMENSE CIRCLE OF CLOUDS
AND DUST.

All the asteroids say, AND LITTLE ROCKS!

Little Malabar says, OH, LIKE THE CIRCLE OF FISH,
BUT WITH ROCKS INSTEAD!

Little Malabar holds a small rock.

The rock says, YES, BUT AFTER A CERTAIN
TIME, WE GOT ALL STUCK TO EACH
OTHER AND FORMED BIGGER ROCKS.

An asteroid bumps into and sticks to the rock Little Malabar stands on. The small rock slips out of Little Malabar’s hand and the little turtle falls off Little Malabar’s shoulder.

Little Malabar says, WHOA!

Little Malabar giggles. The little turtle giggles as it flies past the asteroids. It lands on a group of small rocks stuck together.

The little rock says, AND EVENTUALLY,
WE FORMED INTO LITTLE PLANETS!

Little Malabar watches a small group of small rocks stuck together pass by him. The rocks form into one small planet.

Little Malabar says, OH, YEAH, LOOK!
THAT'S VENUS WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG!’

A second small planet passes behind Venus.

Little Malabar says, AND THERE'S MERCURY!

Mercury eats a rock.

Little Malabar says, THEY LOOK LIKE BABY PLANETS!

Little Malabar gasps and looks down at the asteroid he stands on.

Little Malabar says, HEY!

Little Malabar now stands on a planet that eats little rocks.

Little Malabar says, YOU'RE PLANET EARTH!

Little Malabar giggles. Earth eats another rock.

He says, YOU'RE REALLY SMALL AS WELL.

Earth says, THAT'S RIGHT!
AND I STILL HAVE TO EAT MORE
ROCKS IN ORDER TO GET BIGGER!

The little turtle squeaks as it rides on another planet. The little turtle waves.

Little Malabar says, AND YOU, LITTLE TURTLE,
YOU'RE ON BABY MARS!
COME ON, LET'S HELP THEM GET
BIGGER AND BECOME BIG PLANETS!

Little Malabar and the little turtle collect rocks that fly by as they travel on their planets. The little turtle squeaks as a rock flies out of their grasp. A larger planet slurps the little turtles rock in and grows bigger.

Little Malabar says, WOW, THAT PLANET'S
GETTING BIGGER SUPER-FAST! OH!

(Slurping)

Dust flies past Little Malabar as the larger planet consumes more rocks and grows bigger. The planet spins.

Little Malabar says, IT'S EVEN EATING THE CLOUDS!
IT LOOKS LIKE A HUGE
SPINNING-TOP!

Gusts spin around the planet as it grows. The planets circle the sun.

A planet says, BOY OH BOY,
LOOK AT THAT ONE!

Little Malabar says, HEY, THAT'S JUPITER!

Jupiter passes Little Malabar as it grows and spins.

Mercury says, HEY, IT'S GOING TO END UP
PUSHING US ALL RIGHT INTO THE
SUN IF IT KEEPS UP LIKE THAT!

Venus says, THAT'S RIGHT,
IT'S TAKING UP ALL OF THE SPACE.

Earth says, HEY, EASY NOW, SPINNING-TOP!

Mars says, IT'S EATING ALL OF MY ROCKS!
HOW AM I EVER GOING
TO GET BIGGER?

The little turtle squeaks as it gets sucked off Mars. Little Malabar grabs the little turtle and jumps onto a small planet.

Little Malabar says, HEY, JUPITER,
YOU'RE CAUSING A LITTLE
TOO MUCH HAVOC HERE!

Jupiter says, BUT I'VE BUILT UP MOMENTUM,
I CAN'T STOP!

A smaller planet joins Jupiter.

The planet says, I'LL HELP YOU, JUPITER.
I'M A BIG SPINNING-TOP AS WELL.

The two planets spin together. Jupiter grunts as it spins alongside the planet.

Jupiter says, THANKS, SATURN!

Saturn says, COME ON, YOU CAN DO IT!
COME OVER THIS WAY.

Saturn leads Jupiter away from the other planets and the sun. The smaller planets sigh.

They say, THAT'S SO MUCH BETTER!
YUM!

The planets continue eating rocks.

Little Malabar says, WELL DONE, SATURN!
NOW EVERYONE'S IN THEIR PLACE.

The forming planets circling the sun transform into the planets they are today in the galaxy. Little Malabar looks down at the planet he stands on near Earth. The little turtle rests on his head.

The planet says, AND THAT IS HOW SATURN...

Little Malabar leaps off the planet.

An asteroid says, …PUT AN END TO THE CHAOS...

Little Malabar stands on the asteroid.

He says, …OF THE BIG SPINNING-TOP!

(Chuckling)

A large planet says, I WILL NO LONGER BUDGE,
I PROMISE!
NOW IN THIS CIRCLE OF PLANETS,
I'M RIGHT WHERE I BELONG!

Little Malabar says, IT'S TIME FOR US TO
GO BACK, BIG TURTLE!
GOOD BYE, EVERYONE!

Little Malabar leaps off the asteroid.

The asteroids and planets say, GOODBYE,
LITTLE MALABAR!

Little Malabar and the little turtle splash into the water beside the big turtle.

Little Malabar says, COME INTO THE CIRCLE,
BIG TURTLE, BUT DON'T BE
A CRAZY SPINNING-TOP!

Little Malabar dives into the water with the little turtle.

The narrator says, WHEN THEY WERE
YOUNG, JUPITER AND THEN SATURN
CAME CLOSE TO THE SUN.
JUPITER CAUSED MUCH HAVOC
AMONGST THE SMALL PLANETS,
BUT WITH THE HELP OF SATURN,
IT RETURNED TO THE PLACE
IT IS NOW.
