A narrator says, SUPER MEGA FLASH.
A purple light flashes over mountains on planet Earth. Little Malabar giggles as his hair blows. He surfs through an ocean. He surfs past a whale on a stingray near an island. The stingray briefly leaps out of the water while trilling.
Little Malabar cheers, WOO-HOO! WELL DONE, STINGRAY!
(Stingray trilling)
Stingray flies over the whale with Little Malabar.
Little Malabar says, WHOA!
WATCH OUT, WHALE!
Stingray and Little Malabar fly off Whale’s tail.
Little Malabar says, WHOA-HAHAHA!
He giggles as he flies through space on Stingray and toward the sun.
Little Malabar says, HI THERE, SUN!
Sun turns toward Little Malabar.
Sun says, HUH? AH, IT'S YOU,
LITTLE MALA --
A purple beam blasts past sun, taking Little Malabar and Stingray with it.
Sun says, --OH?
Sun chuckles as the beam carries Little Malabar and Stingray through space.
Sun says, WAIT, WHERE DID THEY GO?
The beam flies out of a galaxy and toward another. Little Malabar and Stingray out of the beam.
Little Malabar says, WHOA, WHOA!
WHAT JUST HAPPENED, STINGRAY?
Little Malabar and Stingray float toward the new galaxy.
Little Malabar says, WE WERE NEAR THE SUN,
AND THEN, FLASH!
(Stingray trilling)
The galaxy says, IT SOUNDS AS IF YOU BOTH
CROSSED PATHS WITH A GAMMA RAY!
Little Malabar says, A GAMMA WHAT?
The galaxy says, A GAMMA RAY!
THEY ARE EXTREMELY POWERFUL RAYS
OF LIGHT THAT TRAVEL BETWEEN
GALAXIES AT LIGHTNING SPEED!

Sunflower Galaxy says, WELL, IT'S CERTAINLY NOT
NEXT DOOR!
IT'S IN ANOTHER GALAXY
KNOWN AS THE MILKY WAY,
FAR, FAR AWAY OVER THERE.
Little Malabar says, BOY, OH BOY, WE'RE TOO FAR!
HOW WILL WE EVER RETURN?
(Stingray trilling)
Sunflower Galaxy says, OH, IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY.
I CAN FEEL THAT A GAMMA RAY
IS ABOUT TO BURST OUT OF
ONE MY ARMS VERY SOON!
Little Malabar looks at a circle of waves in Sunflower Galaxy. Two spinning stars rotate in a circle.
Little Malabar says, THIS GAMMA RAY WILL BRING
US BACK TO OUR GALAXY!
SHALL WE GO, STINGRAY?
(Stingray trilling)
Stingray flies under Little Malabar, making him giggle. Little Malabar flies toward the forming gamma ray on Stingray.
Little Malabar cheers, WOO-HOO!
He giggles.

Little Malabar and Stingray reach the gamma ray. It’s purple beam blasts out of Sunflower Galaxy.
Little Malabar says, AH, WHOA!
The beam takes Little Malabar and Stingray with it. They fly through space.
Little Malabar says, WHOA!
Little Malabar giggles.
(Stingray trilling)
Little Malabar laughs as he and Stingray fall out of the gamma ray. They float near another galaxy.
Little Malabar says, OH?
BUT, YOU'RE NOT THE MILKY WAY!
Little Malabar faces the galaxy upside down.
The galaxy says, ME? OH, NO.
I'M THE ANDROMEDA GALAXY!
(Stingray trilling)
Little Malabar flips himself upright.
He says, DON'T WORRY, STINGRAY!
WE'LL FIND ANOTHER GAMMA RAY
THAT WILL BRING US BACK HOME!
Andromeda Galaxy says, FOR THE GAMMA RAYS, YOU
SHOULD GO ASK THE NEUTRON STARS.
THEY ARE CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING THEM.
LOOK, LIKE THOSE TWO DOWN THERE!
Little Malabar looks at a circle of waves with rotating stars similar to the ones in Sunflower Galaxy.
Little Malabar says, THANKS, ANDROMEDA!
Little Malabar flies on Stingray.
Little Malabar says, SEE, STINGRAY ?
WE SHOULD NEVER GET DISCOURAGED.

Stingray and Little Malabar fly toward the neutron stars in the circle of waves.
Little Malabar says, WOW!
SO THEN IT'S YOU WHO
CAN PRODUCE GAMMA RAYS?
One of the neutron stars says, INDEED!
WE NEUTRON STARS CAN DO
JUST THAT!
WHY DO YOU ASK?
Little Malabar says, MY FRIEND ARE I ARE LOOKING
FOR A GAMMA RAY TO TAKE US BACK
TO OUR GALAXY, THE MILKY WAY.
The second neutron says, THE MILKY WAY? HMM...
The first neutron star says, I THINK THAT'S
POSSIBLE, YES...
The second neutron star says, GET INTO PLACE
RIGHT ABOVE US...
(Stingray trilling)
Stingray flies above the two neutron stars.
The second neutron star says, …AND ENJOY THE SHOW!
Little Malabar says, THIS TIME, WE'LL MAKE
THE MOST OF OUR TRIP!
Little Malabar and Stingray wear sunglasses.
(Stingray trilling)
The neutron stars pick up their rotating speed until a gamma ray bursts out and carries Little Malabar and Stingray in its purple beam.
Little Malabar cheers, WOO-HOO!
(Upbeat music plays)
In the gamma ray, little purple balls pass by Little Malabar and Stingray.
Little Malabar says, HEY, BUT WHO ARE YOU?
One of the balls says, WE ARE THE GAMMA RAYS!
A gamma ray says, THE MOST ENERGETIC
FORMS OF LIGHT...
Another gamma ray says, …IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!
Little Malabar says, WOW, A SUPER LIGHT SHOW!
A gamma ray says, WE BURST OUT OF...
Another says, ….NEUTRON STARS...
A third says, …THAT FUSE...

Multiple other gamma rays say, FLASH! FLASH!

He says, ROCK ON, YOU GAMMA RAYS!
WE'RE ON OUR WAY
TO THE MILKY WAY!
Little Malabar surfs on Stingray. He giggles as he rides the purple beam of gamma rays back to Milky Way.
Little Malabar cheers, WOO-HOO!
He and Stingray leave the gamma rays when they reach Sun.
Little Malabar says, HI THERE, SUN!
Sun says, OH-HO-HO, THERE THEY ARE!
(Stingray trilling)
Stingray flies back to Earth with Little Malabar. Little Malabar giggles as they slide onto Whale. Little Malabar steps off Stingray and sits down on Whale. Stingray slides back into the water and Little Malabar sighs.
Little Malabar says, IT FEELS GREAT TO BE BACK
IN OUR GALAXY, UNDER THE SUN
TO TAKE A NICE NAP!
Little Malabar lies down with his arms behind his head.
He says, RIGHT, STINGRAY?
Stingray leaps out of the water.
(Stingray trilling)
A narrator says, WHEN TWO STARS
FUSE TOGETHER, THEY SOMETIMES
PRODUCE GAMMA RAYS.
THEY ARE INTENSE RAYS OF LIGHT
COMPOSED OF GAMMA PHOTONS,
