An animated child with blonde hair jumps on different coloured planets.

Singing, TO THE MOON AND BACK! HA-HA! I JUMP ON EVERY PLANET AND EVERY STAR C'MON, LET'S GO FAR EXPLORE THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, LITTLE MALABAR.

A title reads: Little Malabar. Music by Fred Pallem. Directed by Patrick Volve.

A title reads: A moon unlike the others. Written by Cyril Deydier and Jean Duprat. Storyboard by Adrien Waszak.

A narrator says, A MOON UNLIKE THE OTHERS.

Little Malabar bounces a beach ball on his head. He has blonde hair and wears blue shorts and a white t-shirt with an orange sun on it.

Malabar says, AND ONE! AND TWO!

A bear stands and scratches its back against a tree.

(Bear grunting softly)

Malabar says, AND THREE!

(Bear grunting softly)

Malabar says, AND... YOUR TURN, BEAR!

Bear catches the ball.

Bear asks, HM?

Malabar says, COME ON BEAR, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PASS IT BACK TO ME, LIKE THIS!

Malabar bounces the ball off his arms.

Malabar says, HA! GO ON! COME ON, BEAR, DON'T BE STUBBORN!

(Grunting)

Bear hits the ball. It flies into the air.

Malabar says, THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A BIT TOO HARD!

(Groaning)

Malabar says, BUT THAT'S OKAY, BEAR, WE'LL JUST GO AND GET IT!

(Grunting)

Malabar jumps on bear’s back and bear jumps into the sky. They land on the Moon.

Malabar says, THE BALL'S NOT HERE ON THE MOON!

Bear jumps to the planet Mars.

Malabar says, AND NOT ON MARS EITHER!

Bear hops across asteroids to one of Jupiter’s moons.

Malabar says, NOT ON JUPITER...

Bear skates along Saturn’s rings.

Malabar says, AND NOT ON SATURN.

Bear and Malabar balance on small moons around Uranus.

Malabar says, AND IT'S NOT ON URANUS EITHER. STILL NO BALL IN SIGHT. THERE ARE ONLY BALLS OF ICE HERE!

The planet Neptune has blue coloured bands on its surface, and small chunks of ice orbiting it.

Neptune says, THAT'S RIGHT! THEY ARE MY PRETTY ICE MOONS. YOU LIKE THEM?

Malabar says, HELLO, NEPTUNE! OH YES, THEY'RE VERY BEAUTIFUL. HEY, LOOK OVER THERE! ONE OF THEM IS ORBITING THE WRONG WAY!

An icy white moon turns and glares.

The ice moon says, OH, YEAH? WELL, WHO SAYS THERE IS RIGHT AND WRONG WAY? AND WHY CAN'T WE ORBIT THE WAY WE WANT AROUND HERE, HUH?

Neptune says, DON'T PAY HER ANY MIND. TRITON LIKES DOING THINGS HER OWN WAY!

Malabar says, A BIT LIKE BEAR WHEN WE PLAYED WITH THE BALL. RIGHT, BEAR?

Bear jumps onto Triton.

Malabar says, I DON'T CARE, AND TOO BAD IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT! I'M A MOON UNLIKE ALL THE OTHERS!

(Neptune laughs)

Neptune says, THAT'S FOR SURE! I REMEMBER THE VERY FIRST TIME I LAID EYES UPON HER.

Malabar says, DO TELL, NEPTUNE!

Neptune says, IT WAS LONG, LONG AGO. I ALREADY HAD MOONS, BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TRITON.

Malabar asks, OH, BUT WHERE ARE BEAR AND TRITON?

Neptune says, BACK THEN, I WAS NAIVE! ALL I WANTED WAS A BEAUTIFUL ROUND MOON THAT SHINED BRIGHTLY TO COMPLETE MY COLLECTION. AH, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO FIND.

Malabar says, IT'S TRUE THERE ISN'T ANYTHING AROUND HERE.

Neptune says, AND YET NOT TOO FAR FROM HERE, IS A PLACE FULL OF BALLS OF ICE THAT ORBIT FROM AFAR AROUND THE SUN. IT'S CALLED THE KUIPER BELT.

Triton and Bear move through the Kuiper belt among other rocks and balls of ice.

Triton says, BACK THEN I USED TO HANG WITH MY BALLS OF ICE PALS. WE WERE FAR FROM NEPTUNE, AND WE LIVED CAREFREE! LA LA LA, LA LA LA, LA LA! OOH, HEY!

A rock knocks Triton away.

The rock says, OOPS, SORRY !

Triton says, THEN, I BECAME A VOYAGER! I SAW LITTLE PLANETS. I UP AND LEFT THE KUIPER BELT FOR GOOD. I BUMPED INTO COMETS, FROM AFAR I SAW URANUS, AND THEN ONE DAY, I CAME NEAR NEPTUNE.

Malabar calls, HEY, THERE! THIS WAY, TRITON!

(Bear grunting)

Neptune says, AS SOON AS I SAW HER, I IMMEDIATELY FELL UNDER THE CHARM OF TRITON. SO PERFECTLY ROUND, LOOKING JUST LIKE A PEARL! SHE WAS TRULY DIFFERENT. SO I ATTRACTED HER TOWARDS ME AND I CAUGHT HER!

Triton orbits Neptune.

Triton says, HEY! EASY NOW! OKAY, YOU WIN. BUT I GET TO CHOOSE WHICH WAY I GO AROUND YOU!

Malabar hops on Triton and hugs Bear.

Malabar says, WE'RE BACK TOGETHER AGAIN, BEAR, LIKE NEPTUNE AND TRITON.

Neptune says, AND EVER SINCE THAT MOMENT, TRITON ORBITS AROUND ME, BUT IN THE DIRECTION SHE WANTS!

Triton says, AND IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT, I DON'T CARE!

(Malabar laughs)

Malabar says, YOU'RE FUNNY, TRITON.

Neptune asks, HEY WAIT, WHAT IS THAT? IS THAT ANOTHER MOON?

Malabar says, NO NEPTUNE, THAT'S OUR BALL! SHALL WE FINISH OUR GAME, BEAR?

Bear catches the ball and jumps away.

(Grunting)

Malabar says, GOODBYE, NEPTUNE! GOODBYE, TRITON!

Malabar leaps through space.

Both call, GOODBYE, LITTLE MALABAR!

Malabar and Bear land back on Earth.

Malabar says, WOOHOO!

(Laughs)

Malabar says, YOUR TURN TO PASS THE BALL!

Bear spins the ball on one finger.

Malabar says, YOU REALLY LIKE DOING THINGS YOUR OWN WAY, LIKE TRITON!

The narrator says, THE BIGGEST MOON OF NEPTUNE ORBITS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE OTHERS. IT'S TRITON! IT WASN'T THERE AT THE START, BUT IT VOYAGED AND WAS CAPTURED BY NEPTUNE.
