Bamboo Love waves. Two grey mice ride scooters past a tree. One wears a pink helmet and rides a pink scooter. The other wears a blue helmet and rides a blue scooter. They smile and wave.

[Honking]

Bamboo Love honks a horn on their scooter as they ride toward the two mice.

[Honking]

The mice ride their scooters around Bamboo Love. Bamboo Love waves to the mice. The mice wave back.

[Bamboo Love and the mice greeting each other]

[Horn sound echoing]

Bamboo Love stops their scooter.

The narrator says, HMM. OH! WHAT COULD THAT
STRANGE ECHO SOUND BE?

Bamboo Love says, HMM...UH-UH.

Bamboo Love shrugs. They ride their scooter toward an elephant playing a trumpet.

[The elephant playing the trumpet]

Bamboo Love stops their scooter and waves.

Bamboo Love says, AHH.

The elephant waves back with their trunk.

The narrator says, OH, WELL DONE BAMBOO LOVE!

Bamboo Love leaves their helmet on the scooter.

The narrator says, YOU FOUND THE SOUND.
MR. ELEPHANT IS TESTING
HIS NEW TRUMPET.

Bamboo Love says, AH?

The narrator says, YES, A TRUMPET.

Bamboo Love waves to Penguin.

BRING THE TRUMPET TO YOUR MOUTH.

Bamboo Love sits up straight and raises the trumpet.

The narrator continues, KEEP YOUR ELBOWS RELAXED,
BUT FAR AWAY FROM THE BODY
TO SOUND YOUR TRUMPET.
BUZZ YOUR LIPS
INTO THE MOUTHPIECE
AND PRESS THE COMBINATION
OF BUTTON VALVES YOU WANT.

PENGUIN.

[Penguin vocalizing]

Penguin nods, then waves before walking away. Bamboo Love and Mr. Elephant wave.

The narrator asks, WOULD YOU LIKE
TO TRY PLAYING THE TRUMPET
BAMBOO LOVE?

Bamboo Love says, MM-HMM.

Bamboo Love nods. Mr. Elephant puts his trumpet down and walks away. He returns with a chair.

The narrator says, OH, HOW NICE, MR.ELEPHANT.

Mr. Elephant places the chair beside Bamboo Love, then leaves again.

The narrator asks, DO YOU REMEMBER HOW TO PLAY
THE TRUMPET
BAMBOO LOVE?

Mr. Elephant returns with a trumpet. He gives the trumpet to Bamboo Love, who is sitting on the chair.

Bamboo Love says, MM-HMM.

Bamboo Love nods, then holds the trumpet backwards. He blows into the wrong end of the trumpet.

[Mr. Elephant giggling]

Bamboo Love looks at the trumpet.

Bamboo Love says, HUH.

[Narrator giggling]

The narrator asks, DO YOU REMEMBER WHERE TO BLOW
INTO THE TRUMPET?

Bamboo Love looks thoughtful. They shake their head sadly. Mr. Elephant takes Bamboo Love’s trumpet, then turns it around the right way. Bamboo Love points to the trumpet’s mouthpiece.

The narrator says, THAT'S RIGHT.
YOU BLOW INTO THE MOUTHPIECE.
MR. ELEPHANT, WOULD YOU LIKE TO
TEACH BAMBOO LOVE HOW TO PLAY?

Mr. Elephant nods, then grabs his trumpet with his trunk.

[Bamboo Love gasping]

Bamboo Love blows into their trumpets mouthpiece.

IT'S HARD TO BREATHE
INTO THE TRUMPET.

PRESS ON THE VALVES
TO CREATE DIFFERENT SOUNDS.

Bamboo Love smiles and nods.

Bamboo Love presses on the trumpet’s valves as they play the trumpet.
