(Soft music playing)
(Giggling)
An animated ladybug and bee hover above a tree branch.

A child narrates, IT’S LADYBIRD AND BEE.
(Giggling)
(Music playing)
Flowers grow in a green meadow. Bee and Ladybird are sitting on a pink and purple flower.
(Vocalizing)
The narrator says, Hello, Ladybird. Hello, Bee. That is lovely singing.
(Giggling)
Bee says, BUZZ BUZZ.
A round green object falls past the flower, shaking it and sending Ladybird and Bee rolling.
Ladybird gasps, LILILOO!
Bee says, BUZZ BUZZ!
They get to their feet.
Ladybird asks, LILILOO?
Bee asks, BUZZ?
The narrator says, WHAT WAS THAT?
(Music playing)
Ladybird and Bee fly to the edge of the flower and stare down. They fly to the ground.
(Snapping, whistling)
A shadow falls toward Ladybird. Bee pushes Ladybird away as a spiky, round, green object hits the ground.
(Gasping)
Bee says, BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ.
Ladybird nods.
The narrator says, THAT WAS SCARY, LADYBIRD AND BEE.
Bee and Ladybird touch their head together and smile. Bee points and they fly into a hollow fallen log.
The narrator says, LADYBIRD AND BEE, NICE AND SAFE.
(Whistling)
(Gasping)
Another green object falls and lands outside the log. It splits open.
The narrator says, WHAT'S THAT INSIDE THE SPIKY THING?
Bee flies out of the log.
The narrator says, IT'S SMOOTH AND SHINY ON THE INSIDE.
Bee touches the smooth brown nut inside.
Bee says, BUZZ!
Ladybird looks nervous and stays inside the log. Ladybird hesitates and then flies out to join Bee.
The narrator says, IT'S A CONKER ON THE INSIDE!
It is a chestnut.
Ladybird says, LILILOO!
Bee gasps, BUZZ!
The narrator says, SPIKY ON THE OUTSIDE, SMOOTH ON THE INSIDE. I LOVE CONKERS, TOO, LADYBIRD AND BEE.
Bee and Ladybird smile and touch the chestnut.
(Music playing)
