A red and black ladybug and a yellow and black bee rest on a branch. Text on a falling green leaf reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

A child says, LADYBIRD AND BEE.

[Giggling]
Wildflowers grown on hills beneath a blue sky.

[Relaxing music plays, birds chirp, insects buzz]

Ladybird lands on the edge of a red flower as she watches Bee inside the flower.

[Buzzing]
A child says, HELLO, LADYBIRD!
HELLO, BEE!

Bee says, BUZZ BUZZ!

Ladybird, the ladybug, says, LILLILOO!

Bee removes pollen from the flower.

[Slurping]

Bee flies to another red flower and lands inside. Ladybird follows him. Another bee lands on a yellow flower. Bee flies to a white flower and collects pollen.

[Buzzing]

The child says, BEE IS VERY
BUSY TODAY!

Ladybird says, LILLILOO!

Ladybird follows Bee from flower to flower.

[Slurping]

The child asks, WHAT ARE YOU
GOING TO DO WITH THAT
FLOWER JUICE?

Ladybird follows Bee to a beehive. They fly into the hive. Other bees fly in and out of the hive. Bee gives another bee the pollen. A line of bees passes the yellow pollen to the front of the line.

[Buzzing, fluttering]

Bee and Ladybird fly to a set of doors. The doors slide open and they watch bees collect golden hexagons.

[Sliding, buzzing, rustling]

The child says, THE FLOWER JUICE
LOOKS A LOT LIKE HONEY NOW.

Bee picks up a golden hexagon and flies towards a honeycomb on the wall of the bee hive.

Bee says, BUZZ!

The child says, BEE,
THIS IS AMAZING. YOU
MADE HONEY, WITH ALL
THE OTHER BEES.

Bee says, BUZZ!

Ladybird tries some of the honey.

Ladybird says, LILLILOO!

[Birds chirp]

End credits roll.
