Campers sleep in a tent near tall green bushes. A photograph is taken. An egg is cooked in a frying pan. Purple fabric is knitted. A lever is pressed and battery power surges through a sign.

The title reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Toast pops out of a toaster. Gas shoots out of a measuring cup during an experiment.

Yasmin wears a bunny rabbit sleep mask and crosses her legs as she sits on the green couch in the den. She has long blonde hair and wears a red shirt.

Yasmin says,
HELLO.
AND WELCOME TO HOW TO DO STUFF
GOOD.

Imi, a dark-haired boy wearing a green and brown striped shirt, and Sahara, a dark-haired girl wearing a yellow t-shirt, rush to Yasmin.

Imi says, HEY!

Sahara asks, WHAT'S UP YAS?

Imi adds,
WHOA!
YOU LOOK SO RELAXED.

Sahara says,
YEAH.
VERY CHILL YAS.

Yasmin replies, WHY THANK YOU.

[Sniffs]

Imi smells the air.

He asks,
AND IS THAT LAVENDER ESSENTIAL
OILS?

Yasmin takes off her sleep mask.

She answers,
YES, DUDE.
IT'S OUR STRESS BUSTERS EPISODE.

Sahara says, OH!

Imi adds,
OH!
LET'S SEE WHAT'S COMING UP.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Piper, a dark-haired girl wearing a floral patterned jacket, says,
SPIN YOUR WAY TO LESS STRESS
WITH THESE CD SPINNERS.

Sahara says,
I'M ABOUT TO DESTRESS WITH MY
DELICIOUS LAYERED SMOOTHIE.

Scarlet, a girl wearing a patterned white, grey, and blue shirt, says,
SOMETIMES WHEN YOU'RE UNDER
PRESSURE JUST BLOW.

Cooper, a dark-haired boy wearing a black and white striped shirt, adds,
I'VE GOT A RECIPE THAT WILL RELEASE
YOU FROM HUNGER AND STRESS.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Yasmin, Sahara, and Imi hang out in the den.

Imi says,
OOH.
YEAH I CAN FEEL THE STRESS
MELTING AWAY ALREADY.

Yasmin replies,
SEE THAT'LL BE THE LAVENDER DUDE.

Sahara says,
LET'S GET INTO THE HACKS.
VINNIE'S UP FIRST.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Vinnie”.

Vinnie, a blonde-haired boy wearing a yellow t-shirt, dances toward a wooden table. He gives a double thumbs up.

Vinnie says,
WHENEVER I START
FEELING A LITTLE STRESSED OUT
THERE'S NOTHING I LIKE DOING
MORE THAN GETTING OUT AND TAKING
A STROLL IN A GARDEN.
BUT WHAT IF I TOLD YOU YOU COULD
DO THAT WITHOUT EVEN LEAVING
YOUR HOUSE.

Vinnie drags a small rake over the sand in a potted zen garden.

Text reads, “Mini Zen Garden”.

Vinnie says,
ALL YOU NEED TO MAKE MY ZEN
GARDEN IS A LARGE BOWL OR
POT TRAY, SOME SAND, AND PEBBLES,
AND SOME ORNAMENTS.
OH, AND A FORK.
SO THE IDEA BEHIND A ZEN
GARDEN IS TO RAKE AND CREATE
PATTERNS IN THE SAND.
IT CAN BE SUPER CALMING.
WILL IT WORK?
LET'S FIND OUT.
FIRST WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS GET
YOUR TRAY AND POUR YOUR SAND
INTO IT.
I'M ALREADY FEELING SUPER CALM.
AFTER YOU'VE FINISHED POURING
YOUR SAND IN, START SPREADING IT
AROUND WITH YOUR HANDS.
AND IF IT SPILLS, DOESN'T
MATTER, 'CAUSE YOU'RE CALM.
SO NOW YOU CAN START ARRANGING
YOUR PEBBLES OR LITTLE BITS OF
WOOD.
I LIKE USING WOOD 'CAUSE YOU CAN
FIND NATURE.
JUST DO IT IN WHATEVER PATTERN
YOU WANT.
MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE A LITTLE BIT
OF ROOM FOR YOUR RAKE TO MAKE
AMAZING PATTERNS.
NOW, GET YOUR FORK.
SO YOU JUST RAKE YOUR FORK BACK
AND FORTH CREATING AS MANY
PATTERNS AS YOU WANT.
YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT OR ZIG-ZAG.
I CAN FEEL MYSELF GETTING CALM
ALREADY.

Vinnie takes a deep breath as he holds a fork. He drags the fork across the sand, creating lines around the plants, wood, and pebbles in the pot.

Vinnie continues,
SO WHENEVER THINGS
GET A BIT OUT OF HAND JUST TAKE
A MINUTE, AND RAKE SOME SAND.

Two hands give each other a fist bump.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “What Stresses You Out?”.

Marianne, a dark-haired girl wearing a yellow t-shirt, says,
UM WHAT STRESSES ME
OUT IS DEFINITELY SCHOOL.
LIKE MY HOMEWORK AND EVERYTHING.

Ashok, a dark-haired boy wearing a Hawaiian shirt, adds,
ASSIGNMENTS DUE THE NEXT
DAY, THAT I HAVEN'T DONE.
WHOOPS!

Yasmin says,
I HAVE A MATHS TEST
ON MONDAY AND IT'S ALGEBRA.
ALGEBRA'S ALL LIKE A TIMES B,
ALL JUST RANDOM LETTERS.
IT STRESSES ME OUT.

Cooper replies,
SOME THINGS THAT
STRESS ME OUT ARE ORDERING FOOD
BECAUSE I AM SUCH AN
OVER-THINKER.
THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS ON THE
MENU THAT ARE SO YUMMY, AND I
JUST REALLY CAN'T MAKE A
DECISION.
WHAT DO I CHOOSE?
OH!

Jenna, a dark-haired girl wearing a denim dress with a green t-shirt, says,
I GET STRESSED OUT BY
LIKE HOMEWORK OR LIKE WHEN MY
BROTHER'S ANNOYING ME.

Gabe, a dark-haired boy wearing a green t-shirt, says,
SOMETHING THAT STRESSES
ME OUT IS WHEN MY BROTHER AND
SISTER DON'T REALLY TAKE ME
SERIOUSLY.
THEY DON'T LISTEN!
URGHHH!

Piper answers,
THE BEACH AT NIGHTTIME.
LIKE YOU NEVER KNOW THERE COULD
BE SQUIDS AND OCTOPUSES.
SCARY.
BUT I LOVE THE BEACH IN DAYTIME.

Race cars cross a finish line.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Scarlet”.

Scarlet dances behind the wooden table. She wears rubber gloves. A clear plastic tub lays in front of her.

Scarlet says,
QUICK HACK TIME.
WHAT CAN BE MORE STRESS
RELIEVING THAN BLOWING BUBBLES.
HOW 'BOUT THESE BUBBLES.

Blue bubbles flow out of a wide tube.

Text reads, “Rainbow Sock Snake”.

Scarlet adds,
FOR THIS HACK YOU WILL NEED A
SOCK THAT SMELLS NICE, A BOTTLE
THAT'S CUT OPEN IN THE BACK HERE.
GET AN ADULT TO HELP WITH THIS.

[Horn alert]

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Scarlet continues,
SOME FOOD COLOURING, RUBBER
BANDS, AND YOUR BUBBLE MIXTURE.
FIRSTLY, GRAB THE SOCK, AND
SOMEHOW GET IT OVER THE BOTTLE.

Scarlet struggles to pull a blue sock over the bottom of a plastic bottle.

[Laugh]

[Horn alert]

Scarlet asks,
CAN I HAVE SOME HELP?
I NEED HELP.

[Laugh]

The sock covers the plastic bottle.

Scarlet says,
I GOT IT!
OW!
NEXT JUST SECURE THIS WITH SOME
RUBBER BANDS.
THAT WORKED.
IT'S TIME.
LET'S GET MESSY.

Scarlet pours food colouring over the part of the sock at the bottom of the bottle.

She adds,
I'M KIND OF CHOOSING LIKE THE
COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW.
NOW THAT LOOKS PRETTY PERFECT.
LET'S DUNK IT IN THE BUBBLE
MIXTURE.
OH MY GOSH.
AND NOW LET'S BLOW.

Scarlet blows into the top of the bottle. Colourful bubbles flow out the bottom.

Scarlet says,
WHOA!
I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT.
I WOULD CALL THIS UNICORN POO.
THIS IS SO PRETTY.
STRESS-RELIEVING UNICORN
BUBBLES.

Eggs are flipped in a frying pan.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Sahara”.

Sahara dances behind the wooden table. She leaps in the air and stretches her arms out at her sides. Fruits lay on the table in front of her.

Sahara says,
HEY FRIENDS.
WHENEVER I FEEL STRESSED I HIT
THE KITCHEN.
AND TODAY I'VE GOT A RECIPE THAT
LOOKS NEARLY AS GOOD AS IT
TASTES.
MY LAYERED SMOOTHIE.

A mint sprig and an umbrella stick out of the top of a green and white smoothie.

Text reads, “Layered Smoothie”.

Sahara adds,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'RE GONNA NEED.
FROZEN FRUITS.
I'M USING MANGO AND KIWI.
NATURAL YOGHURT.
ALMOND MILK.
HONEY.
COCONUT WATER.
BABY SPINACH.
AND MINT GARNISH.

Sahara smells mint leaves.

She says,
MINTY.
OH AND OF COURSE CLEAN HANDS.
TODAY WE'RE ACTUALLY MAKING
TWO DIFFERENT SMOOTHIES.
LET'S START WITH THE MANGO ONE.
FIRST, WE'RE GONNA NEED OUR
FROZEN MANGOES.
JUST POP THEM INTO THERE.
NEXT, WE'RE GONNA GET OUR
NATURAL YOGHURT.
MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERY LITTLE
BIT.
WE'RE GONNA ADD OUR ALMOND MILK.
AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, OUR
HONEY.

Sahara slowly pours honey onto the other ingredients in a mixing cup.

She says,
MIGHT TAKE A WHILE.
THIS IS OKAY IT'S HELPING US
CHILL YOU KNOW.
JUST PATIENCE.
FINALLY.
YOU ONLY NEED A LITTLE DRIZZLE
SO THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH.
LET'S BUILD OUR OTHER SMOOTHIE.
LET'S START WITH OUR KIWI.
NEXT, LET'S USE OUR COCONUT
WATER.
NOW WE'RE ONLY GONNA USE A
LITTLE BIT OF BABY SPINACH.
I KNOW, BABY SPINACH IN A
SMOOTHIE, SOUNDS STRANGE, BUT
TRUST ME ON THIS ONE FAM.
IT TASTES REALLY GOOD.
AND WE'RE ONLY GONNA USE A
LITTLE BIT OF MINT.
SO RELAXING,
TIME TO DOUBLE BLEND.

[Horn alert]

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Sahara blends two smoothies.

She shouts, SO RELAXING!

Sahara continues to blend.

She says,
OKAY, I THINK THAT'S ENOUGH
BLENDING.
LET'S PUSH THESE AWAY.
AND LET'S GET LAYERING.
MAKE SURE WHEN YOU'RE LAYERING
YOU'RE REALLY CAREFUL SO THE
COLOURS DON'T MIX.

Sahara pours a mango smoothie into a cup and then layers it with a kiwi smoothie. She adds another layer of the mango smoothie.

Sahara says,
I THINK IT MIGHT BE THREE LAYERS.
OUR LAST SCOOP.
NOW LET'S TOP IT ALL OFF WITH A
LITTLE BIT OF YOGHURT, OUR
STRAW, AND OUR FANCY GARNISH.
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT, YOUR
LAYERED SMOOTHIE.
I'M SO RELAXED.
THANK YOU SMOOTHIE.
I'M GONNA MAKE SOME MORE OF
THESE AND TAKE THEM TO THE DEN.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Sahara walks downstairs. She approaches Imi and Yasmin in the den.

Sahara asks,
OKAY, SO YOU'RE READY
TO TASTE MY SMOOTHIE?

Yasmin answers, YES.

Imi adds, YEAH.

Yasmin says, ENTER SMOOTHIE.

She knocks on a circular table.

Smoke rises as Sahara’s smoothies appear on the circular table.

Imi and Yasmin respond, OOH!

Imi says, THAT LOOKS SO GOOD.

Yasmin adds, WELL TIME TO TRY IT.

Sahara, Yasmin, and Imi each grab a smoothie.

Imi says, ALI RIGHT, OOH OOH OOH.

Sahara replies, STRAWS AND READY.

Sahara, Yasmin, and Imi drink their smoothies.

Imi responds,
ALL RIGHT.
MM.
AH, NO LUMPS.
I LIKE IT.

Yasmin adds, I LIKE THE KIWI FLAVOUR.

Sahara replies,
I LOVE THE MANGO.
SHALL WE RATE IT?

Imi answers, MM HM.

Yasmin says, YEAH.

Imi responds, DRUM ROLL.

Sahara, Imi, and Yasmin drum on the table with their hands.

They all hold up green ping pong paddles that read “Yay”.

Sahara, Imi, and Yasmin shout, YAY!

Sahara says,
OK.
THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION:
DO YOU THINK THIS IS A
STRESS-BUSTING SMOOTHIE?

Yasmin answers, TOTALLY.

Imi adds,
YEAH.
HUNDRED PERCENT.

Sahara replies, GLAD TO HEAR.

Imi says,
ALL RIGHT LET'S GET BACK
TO THE HACKS.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Marianne”.

Marianne dances around the wooden table. She makes a peace sign with her fingers. A bowl of wool lays in front of her.

Marianne asks,
WHAT'S THE BIGGEST
THING YOU CAN THINK OF?
HOW ABOUT THE SOLAR SYSTEM.
PRETTY BIG, RIGHT?
NOT ANYMORE.
LET'S MAKE IT TINY, AND FLUFFY.

Colourful balls of wool rotate as they hang from white pieces of string.

Text reads, “Pom Pom Universe”.

Marianne adds,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
LOTS OF WOOL, AS MUCH AS YOU CAN
FIND.
TWO RINGS OF CARDBOARD, SCISSORS.

[Horn alert]

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Marianne continues,
AND TIME.
HEAPS OF TIME.
FIRST THING YOU WANT TO
DO IS CHOOSE YOUR
COLOURED WOOL.
I'M DOING PLANET EARTH SO I'VE
GOT BLUE AND GREEN FOR WATER AND
LAND.
GRAB YOUR TWO RINGS AND PUT THEM
TOGETHER.
AND GRAB THE FIRST COLOUR YOU
WANT AND JUST START WRAPPING IT
AROUND.
STICK THAT THROUGH THE HOLE IN
THE MIDDLE AND PULL IT THROUGH
AND JUST KEEP DOING THAT ALL THE
WAY AROUND UNTIL YOU'LL SWAP
COLOURS.

Marianne wraps green wool around a ring of cardboard.

She says,
SEE I TOLD YOU THIS WILL TAKE A
WHILE.
THIS IS THE PERFECT THING TO DO
WHILE YOU'RE WATCHING TV,
WATCHING A MOVIE OR JUST TALKING
TO YOUR MATES ON A VIDEO CALL OR
ANYTHING.
SO I'M NEARLY AT THE END OF THE
GREEN SO NOW I'M GOING TO GRAB
MY BLUE AND TIE IT AROUND HERE.
I'LL JUST DO A LITTLE DOUBLE
KNOT.

Marianne ties the green wool to a string of blue wool. She wraps the blue wool around the cardboard ring.

Marianne says,
AND KEEP GOING.
THERE'S NOTHING HARD ABOUT THIS
HACK IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME.
AFTER A LONG TIME YOU'LL END UP
WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
SO NOW ALL THAT'S LEFT TO DO IS
CUT INTO IT.
SO GRAB YOUR SCISSORS, AND CHOP
DOWN THE MIDDLE.
IF YOUR SCISSORS AREN'T MATCHED
UP JUST SNIP ONE PIECE AT A TIME.
SOON YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR
TWO PIECES OF CARDBOARD SO ONCE
YOU SEE THAT JUST KEEP CUTTING
AROUND.
THERE IT IS.
NOW ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS KEEP
CUTTING AROUND THE DISCS.
IT'S ALREADY LOOKING SO COOL.
IT LOOKS LIKE A POM POM ALREADY.
I LOVE IT.
JUST A FEW MORE CUTS TO GO AND,
DONE.

Marianne tosses her blue and green ball of wool in the air and catches it.

She adds,
NOW WE'RE GOING TO USE SOME
COTTON TO TIE IT ALL TOGETHER.
SO PUT THE PIECE OF COTTON IN
BETWEEN AND MAKE A REALLY TIGHT
KNOT.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE KNOT ALL
THE WAY INTO THE MIDDLE AND TIE
IT UP REALLY TIGHTLY.
AND I'M GOING TO DO ANOTHER KNOT
FOR SAFETY.
AND JUST TRIM OFF THE EXCESS.
AND NOW ALL THAT'S LEFT TO DO IS
PULL OFF THESE CARDBOARD DISCS.
THERE'S ONE.
THERE IT IS!
NOW YOU CAN JUST TRIM OFF ANY
EXCESS PIECES.
I LOVE THIS TINY LITTLE EARTH
IT'S SO CUTE.
I RECKON YOU NEED SOME FRIENDS.
TIME TO MAKE THE REST OF THE
SOLAR SYSTEM.
THIS IS GOING TO TAKE A LOT OF
WOOL.

Marianne stands beside a solar system made up of colourful pom poms.

She says,
AND FINALLY THEY ARE DONE!
MERCURY, VENUS, MARS, JUPITER,
SATURN, NEPTUNE, URANUS AND THE
SUN.
AND WE CAN'T FORGET THE EARTH.
I RECKON THIS'LL BE PERFECT IN
YOUR BEDROOM.
YOUR ROOM WILL BE OUT OF THIS
WORLD.
BYE!

A rocket ship travels through space.

Text reads, “Imi”

Imi dances in front of the wooden table.

He says,
I'M BACK WITH A SUPER
QUICK STRESS-FREE HACK.

A green and yellow stress ball is squished.

Text reads, “Stress Ball”.

Imi continues,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
OOBLECK, BALLOONS,

[Horn alert]

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Imi adds,
SCISSORS, AND A WATER BOTTLE.
TO MAKE THIS SUPER
SATISFYING TO SQUISH WE'RE
FILLING OUR STRESS BALLS WITH
OOBLECK.
YOU KNOW OOBLECK.
WE'VE MADE IT BEFORE.
IT'S JUST CORNFLOUR AND WATER.
OKAY, LET'S PUT THE OOBLECK INTO
A WATER BOTTLE.
THAT LOOKS PRETTY COOL.
NOW THAT THAT'S ALL POURED INTO
THE WATER BOTTLE, WE'RE GONNA
GET OUR BALLOON AND WRAP IT OVER
THE TOP.
WE'RE GONNA TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN
AND LET THE OOBLECK DRIP INTO
THE BALLOON.

Imi squeezes a water bottle filled with oobleck into a yellow balloon.

He says,
OH, IT'S FILLING UP.
OKAY I'M GONNA PINCH THE BALLOON
AND THEN I'M GONNA TAKE OFF THE
END.
I'M GONNA TIE THE END OF THE
BALLOON.
THERE WE GO.
YES!
THAT'S MY STRESS BALL DONE.
NOW TO MAKE IT LOOK EXTRA COOL.
I'M GONNA CUT THE TOP OF THIS
BALLOON OFF AND THEN I'M GONNA
CUT SMALL LITTLE HOLES INTO THE
BALLOON.
OKAY I'M GONNA PUT THIS AROUND
THE BALLOON.

Imi squeezes the yellow balloon into a green balloon.

He adds,
ALL RIGHT THERE WE GO.
SUCCESS!
HERE IS MY SUPER SQUISHY,
RELAXING, STRESS-FREE, STRESS
BALL.
AH!
STRESS RELIEF WITH EVERY
SQUEEZE.

Toast pops out of a toaster.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Cooper”

Cooper raises his hands over his head as he jumps behind the wooden table. A bowl of potatoes and a wooden board lay in front of him.

Cooper says,
PEOPLE HAVE ALL SORTS OF WAYS
TO RELIEVE STRESS.
SOME PEOPLE RUN.
SOME PEOPLE SCREAM.

[Screams]

Cooper screams.

Cooper adds,
AND SOME PEOPLE SMASH THINGS.
SO IF YOU'RE GONNA SMASH
SOMETHING WHY NOT SMASH
SOMETHING DELICIOUS.

Smashed potatoes, rosemary, and condiments lay on a serving tray.

Text reads, “Smashed Potatoes”.

Cooper says,
SO YOU'LL NEED SOME
POTATOES, SALT AND PEPPER, OIL,
BUTTER, ROSEMARY, SMASHER, AND
CLEAN HANDS.
GET AN ADULT TO BOIL YOUR
SPUDS FOR ABOUT TWENTY
MINUTES UNTIL YOU CAN POKE THEM
WITH A FORK.

Cooper holds up a potato with a fork.

He says,
PERFECTO.
POP YOUR SPUDS ON A BAKING TRAY.
NOW HERE'S WHERE THE STRESS
RELIEF COMES IN.
GRAB YOUR SMASHER, AND SMASH
THOSE SPUDS.

Cooper hammers the potatoes with a smasher.

He adds,
I'M FEELING LESS STRESSED ALREADY.
NOW HERE'S WHERE IT GETS
DELICIOUS.
POUR OVER SOME BUTTER, A LITTLE
BIT OF OIL, SOME SALT, AND SOME
PEPPER.
ADD SOME ROSEMARY.
AND YOU'RE GOOD AS GOLD.
NOW ASK AN ADULT TO BAKE THESE
UNTIL THEY'RE NICE AND GOLDEN
BROWN AND CRISPY.

[Stopwatch countdown]

The golden brown smashed potatoes lay on the wooden board.

Cooper says,
STRESS IS GONE.
IT'S TIME TO SMASH THESE SMASHED
POTATOES.

He takes a bite of one of the potatoes.

Cooper responds,
MMM, THAT IS SO GOOD.
I RECKON I CAN EAT ALL OF THESE.
SO RELAXED.

He continues to eat the potato.

Two hands give each other a fist bump.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “How Do You Bust Your Stress?”.

Cooper answers,
I BUST MY STRESS BY UM LIKE
BASHING IT OUT ON THE DRUMS OR
LIKE RUNNING AROUND IN THE
PADDOCK.

Oliver, a blonde-haired boy wearing a grey t-shirt, says,
I JUMP AND DOWN YOU KNOW AH LIKE
YEAH I PRETEND I'M AN OCTOPUS.
YOU KNOW JUST REALLY LOOSENING
UP.

Piper adds,
USUALLY I SHUT MY DOOR AND
OPEN MY WINDOW SO THE BREEZE
CAN COME IN AND YOU CAN HEAR
LIKE THE BIRDS CHIRPING IT JUST
MAKES IT FEEL CALMING I GUESS.
OH, CHIRPING BIRDS.
CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP.

Vinnie says,
SOMETIMES WHEN I'M
STRESSED OUT TO KIND OF JUST
HELP ME RELAX I JUST GO FOR A
SKATE ON MY SKATEBOARD LIKE ON
MY STREET JUST CRUISE.
IT'S REALLY RELAXING.

Gabe responds,
DRAWING AND SKETCHING
MAKES ME GO FROM, AAAH!
TO AH!

Ashok replies,
SOMETHING I DO TO BUST
MY STRESS IS I YELL INTO A
PILLOW.
URGHH!

Ashok screams into a pillow. He laughs.

Campers sleep in a tent.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Piper”.

Piper dances around the wooden table as she waves. She picks up a CD on the table.

Piper says,
CDS.
YOUR PARENTS USED TO LOVE THEM.
ASK THEM ABOUT THE FIRST CD THEY
EVER BOUGHT AND THEY'LL GO ON
FOR HOURS AND HOURS SAYING HOW
COOL THEY USED TO BE AND HOW
MUSIC WAS JUST DIFFERENT BACK
THEN.
YAWN!
I'VE GOT A WAY TO PUT THESE OLD
THINGS TO GOOD USE AND CALM YOUR
MIND AT THE SAME TIME.

CDs with colourful paint spin on the wooden table.

Text reads, “CD Spinning Tops”.

Piper says,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
FIRST THINGS FIRST,
YOU NEED TO DECORATE.
I'M USING PERMANENT MARKERS.
I'M GONNA DO A SPIRAL PATTERN,
SO THEN WHEN YOU SPIN THEM IT'LL
LOOK SUPER TRIPPY AND REALLY
COOL.
YOU CAN LISTEN TO MUSIC TO KILL
SOME TIME WHILE YOU'RE
DECORATING.
BUT LISTEN TO IT OFF YOUR PHONE.
LIKE THIS 2021.

Piper draws blue circles on the bottom of a CD.

She adds,
OKAY, I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH MY
DESIGN.
NOW I'M GONNA ADD SOME TAC
THROUGH THE MIDDLE.
SQUISH THE TAC THROUGH, AND THEN
YOU CAN ADD A MARBLE.
LAST STEP, SQUISH ON THE CAP
ONTO THE OTHER SIDE AND USE THAT
AS YOUR HANDLE.
LET'S TEST IT OUT AND GIVE IT A
SPIN.

Piper spins the CD with the blue dots.

She says,
WHOA THE SPIRAL PATTERN LOOKS SO
COOL.
LOOK HOW MESMERIZING IT IS IT'S
SO CALMING.
WHOA!
THIS IS SO SATISFYING.
WOOH!

The CD spins off the table. Piper picks it up.

She adds,
NEXT TIME YOUR PARENTS ARE
BORING YOU WITH HOW COOL THEY
USED TO BE JUST WATCH THESE AND
YOU CAN SPIN YOURSELF TO WHOLE
'NOTHER WORLD.

A lever is pushed.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Yasmin”.

Yasmin dances around the wooden table. She leaps in the air and spins. A yellow ball swings in front of her.

Yasmin says,
SO THIS IS CALLED A PENDULUM.
KIND OF LIKE WHAT YOU'VE SEEN ON
AN OLD CLOCK.
SO WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?
WELL THEY HELP KEEP REGULAR
TIME.
BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW BIG THEIR
SWING IS, THEY STILL KEEP THE
SAME RHYTHM.
WATCH.
LITTLE SWING.

Yasmin swings the ball from side to side.

[Stopwatch countdown]

Yasmin says, AND BIG SWING.

She swings the ball harder from side to side.

[Stopwatch countdown]

Yasmin adds,
SEE, STILL THE SAME SPEED.
BECAUSE IT'S NOT ACTUALLY HOW
BIG THE BALL ON THE END OF THE
STRING IS, OR HOW HIGH YOU SWING
IT, THE PENDULUM'S PATTERN IS
BASED ON HOW LONG THE STRING IS.
SO YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT'S
BEAUTIFUL AND CALMING.
LET'S GET A BUNCH OF PENDULUMS
WITH SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT STRING
LENGTHS.
AS YOU CAN SEE I'M USING ORANGES.

Eight oranges hang from eight strings of different lengths. Yasmin lets go of the oranges and they swing at different speeds and distances.

Yasmin says,
LOOK AT THAT!
BEAUTIFUL PENDULUM WAVES.
SO CALMING.
LET'S SUPERSIZE THIS AND HEAD TO
THE DEN.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Seven large balls hang from the ceiling of the den. Yasmin leads Imi and Sahara to them.

Yasmin says,
HERE IT IS, MY SUPER-SIZED
PENDULUM WAVE.

Imi replies, WHOA!

Sahara adds, THIS IS AMAZING YAS.

Imi asks, BUT, DOES IT WORK?

Yasmin answers,
ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT.

Yasmin, Imi, and Sahara pull back the balls with a long stick.

Yasmin says,
OKAY.
THREE, TWO, ONE, RELEASE.

Yasmin, Imi, and Sahara lower the stick and release the balls. They swing at different speeds and distances.

Imi says,
WHOA!
IT WORKS.

Sahara adds, YAS, THAT'S SO COOL.

Yasmin replies, THIS IS SO GOOD.

Sahara says,
THIS IS SO GOOD.
I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT
STRESS FEELS LIKE.

Imi responds,
SO MUCH ZEN, SO LITTLE TIME.
ANYWAYS SEE YOU NEXT TIME ON:

Yasmin, Imi, and Sahara shout,
HOW TO DO STUFF GOOD!
BYE!

They knock the balls around the den.

A narrator says,
FOR MORE INFORMATION
ON HOW TO DO STUFF GOOD,
SEARCH UP ABC ME.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.
