Campers sleep in a tent under the stars. A photograph is taken. An egg is cooked in a frying pan. Purple fabric is knitted. A lever is pressed and battery power surges through a sign.

The title reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Toast pops out of a toaster. Gas shoots out of a beaker during an experiment.

Gabe, a dark-haired boy wearing a green t-shirt, and Marianne, a dark-haired girl wearing a yellow t-shirt rush to a round purple table in the den. Cooper, a dark-haired boy wearing a black and white striped shirt hurries downstairs and sits with them.

Gabe says, HEY!

Marianne replies, HEY!

Cooper responds, HEY!

Marianne adds,
WELCOME TO HOW TO DO STUFF
GOOD TRASH TO TREASURE
SPECIAL.
I'M MARIANNE AND WITH ME IN THE
DEN TODAY ARE GABE AND COOPER.

Gabe shouts, WHAT'S UP?

Cooper says,
HEY!
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY, ONE
PERSON'S TRASH IS ANOTHER
PERSON'S TREASURE.

Gabe replies,
EXACTLY, COOPER.
LIKE THIS.
I'M TURNING THIS SCRAP PIECE OF
PAPER INTO A HAT.

Gabe places a piece of crumpled paper on his head. Cooper and Marianne look confused.

They say, YEAH.

Marianne adds,
TOTALLY.
LET'S CHECK OUT SOME MORE
EXAMPLES.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Vinnie, a blonde-haired boy wearing a yellow t-shirt, says,
EVER HEARD OF UPCYCLING?
WELL TODAY I'M REALLY UPCYCLING.

Vinnie spins a bicycle wheel.

Sahara, a dark-haired girl wearing a yellow t-shirt says,
I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO RESCUE
SOME FRUIT THAT'S GETTING A
LITTLE BIT FUNKY.

Cooper adds,
I'VE GOT A WASTE SAVING
SNACK THAT'S SUPER APPEALING.

Marianne says,
I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW
TO UPCYCLE YOUR LEFTOVER
VEGGIES.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Marianne, Cooper, and Gabe sit around the purple table in the den.

Gabe says,
WHAT AN EPISODE!
SO, WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?

Marianne adds,
YEAH, THAT TRASH ISN'T GONNA
TREASURE ITSELF.

Cooper says,
HERE'S ASH WITH OUR FIRST HACK.

A stencil is painted purple.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Ashok, a dark-haired boy wearing a blue Hawaiian shirt, dance behind a craft table. Scissors and brown paper bags lay in front of him.

Text reads, “Ashok”.

Ashok asks,
GOT A BUNCH OF PAPER BAGS
JUST LYING AROUND?
I'M GONNA TURN THIS TRASH INTO
SOME TREASURE.

Colourful paper stars hang from strings.

Text reads, “Paper Bag Stars”.

Ashok continues,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
AROUND TEN PAPER BAGS, SOME
SCISSORS...

(Horn honking)

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Ashok adds,
...AND LOW-TEMPERATURE GLUE GUN.
SO FIRST, WE'RE GONNA START
WITH GLUING THE BAGS TOGETHER.
I'M GONNA START WITH THREE SO
THAT IT'S EASY TO CUT THROUGH.
YOU JUST WANT TO GLUE THE
BOTTOM.
AND THEN GLUE STRAIGHT DOWN THE
MIDDLE.
YOU CAN USE HOT GLUE OR NORMAL
GLUE.
THEN NOW WE'RE GONNA GRAB ONE
MORE AND JUST STICK IT ON IT.
PRESS DOWN.
NOW I'M GONNA GRAB ANOTHER PAPER
BAG AND JUST STICK IT DOWN.
SO NOW THAT WE'VE DONE THREE, WE
DO ANOTHER THREE.
THIS HACK IS BASICALLY JUST
CUTTING, GLUING, AND STICKING.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE.
NOW IT'S TIME TO CUT.
YOU WANT TO CUT A V-SHAPE AT THE
TOP, AND THEN ON THE OTHER SIDE
AS WELL.
ON THE SIDES YOU WANT TO CUT TWO
TRIANGLES, ONE LITTLE ONE AND
ONE BIG ONE.
SO THEN ONCE YOU'VE FINISHED
YOUR FIRST STACK OF BAGS YOU CAN
PUT IT ON TOP OF YOUR OTHER
STACK AND USE IT AS A STENCIL SO
YOU DON'T MAKE IT UNEVEN.
NOW JUST KEEP ON GOING UNTIL ALL
TEN BAGS ARE FINISHED.
FINAL STEP, IT'S TIME TO GLUE
THESE TOGETHER.
JUST DOWN THE MIDDLE, STICK THIS
ON TOP, TEN BAGS ALTOGETHER.
AND NOW TIME FOR THE BIG REVEAL.

Ashok pulls apart the paper bags. They form a round shape with designs cut out of it.

Ashok says,
THIS ACTUALLY LOOKED REALLY
COOL.
LOOK AT THAT, IT WORKED.
CHECK THESE OUT!
HOW GOOD DO THEY LOOK!
PLAYING WITH THE COLOURS AND THE
DESIGNS MADE AMAZING RESULTS.
UPCYCLING OLD PAPER BAGS INTO
FRESH NEW ART MAKES YOU THE REAL
STAR.

Campers sleep in a tent under the stars.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Vinnie, a blonde-haired boy wearing a yellow t-shirt, holds up two peace signs as he runs behind the craft table.

Text reads, “Vinnie’.

Vinnie says,
USUALLY I DON'T LIKE TALKING
TRASH ABOUT ANYONE, BUT THIS
ONE DUDE I SAW LITTERING AT THE
BEACH THE OTHER DAY, HONESTLY
IT WAS THE LAST STRAW.
AND HERE HE COMES.
HI... STRAW.

A green and white straw joins Vinnie behind the table. He wear glasses and has a moustache.

The straw says, OH, YOU SEEM UPSET.

Vinnie replies,
WELL, I-- AH I AM.
I JUST SAW YOU AND YOUR MATES
JUST LYING THERE ON THE BEACH.
WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT?
WHAT IF YOU'D GOTTEN IN THE
WATER?

The straw answers,
ENVIRONMENT-SMIROMENT.
THE ENVIRONMENT SUCKS.
AND I KNOW ALL ABOUT SUCKING.
GET IT?

(Laughing)

The straw walks away from Vinnie.

Vinnie says,
I REALLY DON'T LIKE THAT GUY.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS, I'VE GOT A
HACK THAT WILL GET SOME OF THOSE
PESKY STRAWS OUT OF CIRCULATION
AND ON YOUR BIKE.

Colourful straws wrap around the spokes of a bicycle wheel.

Text reads, “Straw Spokes”.

Vinnie says,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
SOME RECYCLED STRAWS...

(Horn honking)

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Vinnie adds,
SCISSORS, STRONG TAPE AND
PROBABLY A BIKE.
I FOUND SO MANY OF THESE STRAWS
AT A BEACH CLEAN-UP, AND YOU
CAN TOO.
JUST MAKE SURE YOU WASH THEM.
WHO KNOWS WHAT'S BEEN IN THEM,
STUPID PLASTIC STRAWS.

The straw replies, EXCUSE ME?!

Vinnie says, OH SORRY, SORRY.

(Sighing)

Vinnie shakes his head.

He says,
ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CUT
CAREFULLY ALONG THE LENGTH OF
THE STRAW, LIKE THIS.
ONCE YOU'VE CUT ALONG THE LENGTH
OF THE STRAW, CUT THEM INTO
SECTIONS, ABOUT THREE
CENTIMETRES.
YOU'RE GOING TO NEED A LOT OF
THESE SO KEEP CUTTING.
WHEN YOU THINK YOU'VE CUT ENOUGH
STRAWS, IT'S TIME TO PUT 'EM ON
YOUR BIKE.
PUT THE STRAWS ON THE SPOKES.
GET THE CUT STRAWS AND PUT THEM
AROUND.
YOU WANT TO TAPE IT ON SO IT
DOESN'T FALL OFF, 'CAUSE THAT
WOULD JUST BE CREATING MORE
WASTE.
WE DON'T WANT THAT.
I WANT TO ADD SOME SPARKLY TAPE
TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE.
YOU CAN JUST REPEAT THE PROCESS.
THESE MAKE A REALLY COOL SOUND
WHEN YOU RIDE YOUR BIKE.
THIS ACTUALLY LOOKS PRETTY GOOD.
YOU CAN DO WHATEVER PATTERNS YOU
LIKE, OR NO PATTERNS AT ALL.
AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE, GET READY
TO CRUISE THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITH
YOUR SWEET NEW SPOKES.

Vinnie spins the wheel of the bicycle. The straw walks back over to him.

The straw says,
HEY-HEY-HEY-HEY-HEY!
CAN I COME FOR A RIDE?

Vinnie responds,
I GUESS.
BUT WHEN WE GET BACK, I AM
UPCYCLING YOU INTO A LAMPSHADE.

The straw shouts, WHOOPEE!

Two people give each other a fist bump.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Why Should We Recycle?”

Marianne answers,
I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT TO
RECYCLE SO THAT YOU'RE SAVING
THE ENVIRONMENT.

Sahara adds, I LOVE THIS PLANET.

Vinnie says,
WE ONLY HAVE ONE PLANET SO
WE HAVE TO LIKE, LOOK AFTER IT.

Piper, a dark-haired girl wearing a floral patterned jacket, responds,
PAPER COMES FROM TREES AND
IF YOU KEEP WASTING IT, IT'S
JUST LIKE WASTING A CHOPPED DOWN
TREE WHEN LIKE... ANIMALS COULD
HAVE NEEDED THAT OR IT'S GOOD
FOR OUR OXYGEN SO WE NEED TO
KEEP THOSE.

Imi, a dark-haired boy wearing a green and brown striped shirt, says,
IT SAVES THE ENVIRONMENT
AND IT MAKES YOU COOLER AND WHY
WOULD YOU WANT TO BE COOLER?
'CAUSE EVERYONE WANTS TO BE
COOLER.

Piper adds,
PLUS IT SAVES MONEY TOO,
SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WASTE MORE
MONEY ON OTHER STUFF.

Marianne says, ALL IN ALL, JUST BETTER.

An egg is flipped in a frying pan.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Cooper jumps behind the craft table and spins. He holds two potatoes as he leans on the table.

Text reads, “Cooper”.

Cooper says,
HEY, TEAM.
POTATOES ARE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE
FOODS.
YOU CAN BAKE 'EM, CHIP 'EM, MASH
'EM...
JUGGLE THEM.

Cooper juggles three potatoes.

He says,
WHOA!
HANG ON.
WHOA, WHOA!
NOW, HERE'S AN IDEA TO GET THE
MOST OUT OF THE HUMBLE SPUD,
USING A PART OF THE POTATO THAT
YOU NORMALLY JUST CHUCK AWAY.

Condiments sit beside a bowl of crispy potato skins.

Text reads, “Potato Peel Chips”.

Cooper adds,
SO YOU'LL NEED YOUR POTATO
PEELS, SOME SALT, SOME DRIED
ROSEMARY, AND SOME OLIVE OIL.
FIRST UP ASK AN ADULT TO
PREHEAT THE OVEN.
THANKS, ADULT.
SO, WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS GRAB
YOUR BOWL, GRAB YOUR POTATO
PEELS AND TOSS THEM WITH A
LITTLE BIT OF OLIVE OIL.
GET 'EM NICE AND OILY.
NOW PLACE THEM ON AN OVEN TRAY
LINED WITH BAKING PAPER.
JUST SPREAD THEM OUT ON A SINGLE
LAYER SO THEY'VE GOT SOME ROOM
TO BREATHE.
AND JUST SPRINKLE A LITTLE SALT
OVER THE TOP LIKE THIS.
AND JUST MAYBE SPRINKLE A BIT OF
ROSEMARY IF YOU WANT TO BE FANCY
LIKE ME.
NOW JUST ASK AN ADULT TO POP IT
IN THE OVEN FOR ABOUT FIFTEEN TO
TWENTY MINUTES OR UNTIL THEY'RE
NICE AND CRISPY.

Later, golden brown potato peel chips lay on a cooking tray in front of Cooper.

He says,
WHEN YOU'RE DONE YOU'VE GOT
YOURSELVES THE TASTIEST,
CRISPIEST LITTLE SNACK.

Cooper eats a potato peel chip.

He responds,
MMM.
SO, INSTEAD OF THESE POTATO
PEELS HEADING FOR THE COMPOST
BIN I'M GONNA TAKE THEM TO MY
MATES IN THE DEN INSTEAD.

A pink milkshake is poured into a cup.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Gabe and Marianne sit at the purple table in the den.

Gabe asks,
DO YOU SMELL WHAT I SMELL?

Marianne replies,
YEAH.
INCOMING CHIPS!

Gabe says, OOH!

Smoke rises as the potato peel chips appear on the table. Cooper hurries downstairs to the den.

He says, DA-DA-DAH!

Gabe, Cooper, And Marianne respond,
WHOA!

Marianne says, LET'S DIG IN.

Gabe, Cooper, and Marianne eat the potato peel chips.

Gabe says, MMM!

Gabe, Cooper, and Marianne add, MMM!

Cooper says, OH, YEAH.

Gabe replies,
OKAY.
NOW, LET'S REVIEW.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE.

Gabe, Cooper, and Marianne drum on the table with their hands.

They all hold up green ping pong paddles that read “Yay”.

Cooper says,
YES, THREE YES'S.
OH YEAH.

Marianne replies,
THESE WERE SO GOOD.
I LOVE THE SALTINESS TO IT AND I
CAN'T BELIEVE THAT WAS JUST FROM
THE PEELS.

Cooper responds, YEAH I KNOW.

Gabe adds,
THE TEXTURE AND CRUNCH
WERE VERY EXQUISITE.
YOU DID A VERY EXCELLENT JOB...

Cooper says, OH THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Gabe continues,
...AND IN CONCLUSION, YOUR
CHIPS ARE REALLY GOOD.

Cooper replies,
OH THANK YOU SO MUCH.
BUT I THINK IT'S MARIANNE'S TURN
TO CHIP IN.

Marianne rolls her eyes.

She says,
MY PUNS ARE BETTER.
SEE YOU SOON!
BYE.

Marianne runs out of the den.

Purple yarn is knitted.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Marianne dances in front of the craft table. Two bowls of food waste lay in front of her.

Text reads, “Marianne”.

Marianne asks,
LOOKING FOR WAYS TO USE
OLD FOOD SCRAPS LIKE THESE?
OLD CABBAGE.
USE THEM TO DYE YOUR CLOTHES.

Strips of yellow and purple material fall on the table.

Text reads, “Food Scraps To Fashion”.

Marianne adds,
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
YOU NEED RED CABBAGE, AVOCADO
SKINS AND SEEDS, TURMERIC, AND
AN OLD BED SHEET CUT INTO STRIPS
LIKE THAT.
ALRIGHT LET'S CREATE OUR DYES.
SO THE RED CABBAGE WILL MAKE
PURPLE, SO WE JUST PUT THAT IN
OUR SAUCEPAN WITH SOME WATER.
THIS RED CABBAGE WILL GIVE US A
BEAUTIFUL PURPLEY COLOUR.
I'M RIPPING IT UP JUST SO THE
COLOUR GETS OUT OF THERE.
THE MORE CABBAGE THE MORE
COLOUR.
NEXT WE'RE GOING TO DO THE
AVOCADO SKINS AND SEEDS.
I THOUGHT THIS WOULD MAKE A
BLACK TYPE OF COLOUR BUT IT'S
ACTUALLY GONNA MAKE A DUSTY
PINK.
JUST PUT ALL OF THIS IN THE
WATER.
I'VE PROBABLY GOT ABOUT EIGHT
AVOCADOS WORTH IN THERE.
AND NOW LAST WE'LL DO THE
TURMERIC WHICH WILL MAKE A
BRIGHT YELLOW COLOUR.
YOU PROBABLY NEED ABOUT THREE
SPOONFULS OF THIS.
STIR IT A BIT.
NOW GET A HANDY ADULT TO POP
THESE ON THE STOVE FOR AN HOUR.

Later, pots filled with yellow, brown, and purple water lay on the table.

Marianne says,
SO NOW THAT THESE HAVE SIMMERED
FOR AN HOUR AND COOLED DOWN,
IT'S TIME TO TAKE ALL OF
THE LEFTOVER VEGGIES OUT.
THE COLOUR LOOKS REALLY COOL.
IT'S LIKE DARKER THAN THE RED
CABBAGE.
DON'T WORRY YOUR CLOTHES AREN'T
GONNA SMELL LIKE OLD VEGETABLES.
NOW FOR THE AVOCADO.

Marianne spills avocado water onto the table.

She says,
CLEAN UP IN THE KITCHEN PLEASE.
MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL THE WATER
OFF THEM BEFORE YOU POP THEM
INTO THE BOWL.
THIS ONE SMELLS A LOT WORSE.
IT'S GOT A REAL FUNKY AVOCADO
VIBE.
THIS COLOUR LOOKS A BIT BROWN
NOW, BUT WE'LL SEE HOW IT LOOKS
ONCE IT'S DYED ON THE FABRIC.
AND FOR THE TURMERIC WE DON'T
NEED TO TAKE ANYTHING OUT
BECAUSE IT'S ALL DISSOLVED.
YOU GUYS AND YOUR BAD SMELL CAN
GET OUT OF HERE.
NOW IT'S TIME TO PUT THE RAGS
INSIDE THE COLOURS.
USE YOUR TONGS SO YOU DON'T DYE
YOUR FINGERS.
IT'S ALREADY STARTING TO TAKE ON
THE BRIGHT YELLOW COLOUR, WHICH
LOOKS REALLY GOOD.
NOW GET A HANDY ADULT TO HELP
YOU POP THESE ON THE STOVE FOR
ABOUT AN HOUR.

Later, pots filled with the strips of yellow, brown, and purple material lay on the table.

Marianne continues,
OKAY, SO AFTER THEY BOILED, I
LET THEM SIT AND SOAK OVERNIGHT.
NOW, LET'S LOOK AT THOSE COLOURS.
THE RED CABBAGE TURNS INTO SUCH
A PRETTY COLOUR.
AND LET'S SEE IF THE AVOCADO
SKINS ACTUALLY GET THAT DUSTY
PINK COLOUR.
THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS REALLY GOOD.
AND THIS TURMERIC LOOKS SO GOOD.
THAT'S ONE OF MY FAVOURITE
COLOURS.
YELLOW, PINK AND PURPLE.
I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO USE THESE A
LITTLE LATER ON.
SO STICK AROUND.

A bird is perched on a bird house in a tall green tree.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Piper waves as she dances behind the craft table. A blender, a pitcher of water, and strips of newspaper lay in front of her.

Text reads, “Piper”.

Piper says,
HEY, TEAM.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN LITERALLY
PLANT THE IDEA OF SUSTAINABILITY
IN YOUR MATE'S HEAD.
JUST BY WRITING THEM A LETTER.

Thick pieces of paper and small colourful flowers spin on a wooden wheel.

Text reads, “Plantable Paper”.

Piper continues,
HERE'S WHAT WE'RE MAKING,
PLANTABLE PAPER.
PAPER THAT YOU CAN PLANT IN YOUR
GARDEN AND FLOWERS WILL GROW.
HOW COOL IS THAT?
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
OLD SCRAP PAPER LIKE NEWSPAPER
OR FROM AN OLD BOOK,
WARM WATER, FELT, PLANT OR
FLOWER SEEDS, AND A BLENDER.
FIRST UP TAKE YOUR SCRAP PAPER
AND POP IT INTO THE BLENDER.
AS YOU CAN SEE I'VE ALREADY
RIPPED THE PAPER INTO SHREDS.
NOW POUR IN A BIT OF WARM WATER.
YEP, THAT LOOKS ABOUT RIGHT.
POP THE TOP ONTO THE BLENDER,
AND START BLENDING IT.

(Horn honking)

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Piper blends the scraps of paper with water.

Piper says,
NOW, I'M GONNA TAKE IT OFF AND
GIVE IT A LITTLE BIT OF A SHAKE.
BACK TO THE BLENDER.
OKAY I THINK IT MIGHT NEED A
BIT MORE WATER.
LOOKS ABOUT RIGHT.
BACK IN THE BLENDER.
WELL IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE A GREY
SMOOTHIE, BUT I GUESS NOW IT'S
TIME TO MUSH IT IN THE BOWL.
YOU'VE GOT TO TRY AND SQUEEZE
OUT THE JUICE PART, SO IT'S A
BIT OF A SOLID SHAKE.
SQUEEZE AS MUCH WATER AS YOU CAN
AND PLACE IT ON A TRAY WITH
SOME FELT.
SPREAD IT OUT.
NICE AND THIN JUST LIKE PAPER
WOULD BE.
KEEP SPREADING UNTIL IT'S SUPER
NICE AND THIN JUST LIKE NORMAL
PAPER.
OKAY, I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE
PAPER.
NOW IT'S TIME TO SPRINKLE ON
SOME SEEDS.
YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY SEEDS YOU
LIKE BUT I'M USING SOME
BEAUTIFUL FLOWER SEEDS.
YOU COULD EVEN USE THIS AS A
PARTY INVITATION SO THEN ALL
YOUR FRIENDS WILL THINK YOU HAVE
A COOL PLANT PARTY AND THEY'LL
DEFINITELY WANT TO COME.
TRY AND GET THE SEEDS EVERYWHERE
SO IT GROWS ALL OF THE DIFFERENT
FLOWERS.
NOW YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT TO DRY.
THIS COULD TAKE A COUPLE OF DAYS
BUT THE END PRODUCT IS
DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
ONCE IT'S DRY, IT SHOULD LOOK
SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

Later, Piper wolds the dry paper with seeds.

She says,
WRITE YOUR NOTE ON THIS SIDE AND
SURPRISE SEEDS ON THIS SIDE.
NOW THAT'S AN IDEA THAT'LL
REALLY GROW ON YOU.

Toast pops out of a toaster.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Sahara gives two thumbs up as she jumps behind the craft table. She picks up a bowl of strawberries.

Sahara says,
IF YOU HAVE SOME FRUIT LYING
AROUND THAT IS STARTING TO LOOK
A LITTLE SAD, I HAVE A THING
TO HELP YOU TURN THAT FRUITY
FROWN UPSIDE DOWN.

A bottle of red liquid stands beside a bowl of strawberries.

Text reads, “Soda From Scraps”.

Sahara adds,
SO, FOR THIS RECIPE YOU'RE
GONNA NEED FRUIT.
I HAVE STRAWBERRIES.
SODA WATER, HONEY, WATER,
AND A BLENDER.
FIRST STEP, YOU NEED TO GRAB
YOUR HONEY AND POUR IT INTO
YOUR SAUCEPAN.
AND JUST POP IT IN THERE.
GRAB YOUR WATER AND ALSO PUT IT
IN THE SAUCEPAN.
ASK A HANDY ADULT TO HEAT THIS
UP FOR YOU UNTIL THE HONEY
MELTS.

Sahara hands a pot to an adult.

Sahara says,
THANKS, ADULT.
GRAB YOUR FRUIT, JUST CHUCK IT
INTO YOUR BLENDER.
PUT YOUR LID ON.
MAKE SURE IT'S NICE AND SECURE
SO IT DOESN'T GO EVERYWHERE.
WE'RE GONNA WHIZ THIS UNTIL IT'S
A PUREE.

(Horn honking)

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Sahara blends strawberries.

She says,
SEE HOW IT'S LIQUIDY, THAT'S
HOW WE LIKE IT.
LET'S POUR IT INTO OUR BOTTLE,
AND A FUNNEL MAKES IT EASIER.
OUR HONEY MIXTURE SHOULD BE
COOLED BY NOW SO...
THANK YOU, ADULT.
NOW I'M JUST GONNA POUR JUST A
LITTLE BIT OF IT IN.
THAT LOOKS GOOD.
NOW LET'S ADD OUR SODA WATER.

Sahara spills soda water on the table.

She says,
THAT ALSO WASN'T SUPPOSED TO
HAPPEN.
BUT LET'S JUST POUR IT.
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT.
YOUR FRUITY SODA WATER!
SO YOU MIGHT NEED TO GIVE IT A
BIT OF SHAKE.
MIX IT VERY GENTLY.
AND POP IT IN THE FRIDGE
OVERNIGHT TO COOL.
HERE'S ONE I MADE YESTERDAY.
LET'S GIVE IT A TASTE TEST.

Sahara sips a strawberry soda through a straw.

She responds,
SO GOOD.
SO FRUITY.
DON'T THESE STRAWBERRIES LOOK SO
MUCH HAPPIER.
THEY REALLY DO.

Two people give each other a fist bump.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Text continues, “Best Recycling Tips?”.

Marianne says,
MY BEST RECYCLING TIPS WOULD
BE REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE.
LIKE WHEN YOU'RE USING SOMETHING
THAT HAS PLASTIC PACKAGING TURN
OVER THE BACK WHERE THE TRIANGLE
IS AND IT MIGHT SAY A NUMBER AND
ALWAYS MAKE SURE IT'S GOING IN
THE RIGHT PLACE.

Vinnie adds,
BUT IF YOU WANT TO LIKE,
START A COMPOST AT YOUR HOUSE
THAT'S A REALLY GOOD THING TO DO
TO RECYCLE ALL YOUR FOOD SCRAPS
AND STUFF.

Cooper says,
WORM FARMS ARE REALLY GOOD
BECAUSE THEY-- THEY MAKE SOME
GOOD LIKE, IT'S CALLED WORM WEE
AND IT'S REALLY GOOD FOR YOUR
PLANTS.

Imi says,
DON'T USE PLASTIC WATER
BOTTLES, JUST USE RE-USABLE ONES
AND USE THEM OVER AND OVER
AGAIN.

Piper replies,
DON'T GET YOUR BINS MIXED UP.
WE'VE ALL 'BIN' THERE.

Purple yarn is knitted.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Marianne smiles as she returns to the craft table. The dyed strips of material lay in front of her.

Marianne says,
EARLIER TODAY WE GOT INTO
FOOD SCRAP DYES AND MADE
THESE GORGEOUS COLOURED STRIPS.
LOOK HOW PRETTY THEY ALL ARE.
I LOVE THIS COLOUR, AND THIS
ONE, AND THIS ONE MATCHES MY
SHIRT.
AND NOW TO PUT IT TO GOOD USE.
WE'RE GONNA MAKE A RECYCLED RAG
WREATH.
I CAN'T WAIT.

A wreath made of purple, yellow, and brown strips of material rotates.

Text reads, “Recycled Rag Wreath”.

Marianne continues,
FOR THIS YOU'LL NEED SCRAPS
OF MATERIAL, A LOT OF THEM.
AND A WIRE HOOP.
AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE A WIRE
HOOP, YOU CAN ASK A GROWN-UP TO
HELP YOU BAND A COAT HANGER INTO
A CIRCLE SHAPE.
OKAY SO THIS IS PRETTY
STRAIGHTFORWARD.
YOU JUST NEED TO GRAB YOUR
COLOURED STRIPS AND THEN PUT
THEM UNDER THE HOOP AND TIE A
BIG FAT KNOT ON THE END.
YOU CAN ALTERNATE BETWEEN THE
COLOURS AS YOU GO.
I'M GONNA GO PINK, PURPLE,
YELLOW AND THEN KEEP GOING
THROUGH THAT.
I'M GONNA ADD MY YELLOW AND KEEP
GOING OVER THE COLOURS
ALTERNATING THEM AND BUNCHING
THEM UP.
THIS IS ACTUALLY QUITE RELAXING.
THAT'S A BIG STRIP.
JUST KEEP GOING, FAM, KEEP
GOING.
THIS IS WHY YOU'VE GOT BUNCH, SO
THEN IT LOOKS NICE AND FULL.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THESE COLOURS
CAME FROM VEGGIES.
IT LOOKS SO COOL.
LAST ONE.
ALL DONE!
LOOK HOW GOOD IT LOOKS!
NOW, TO GIVE THE WREATH A LITTLE
EXTRA BLING YOU CAN ADD ON SOME
POM-POMS, BELLS, TINY TOYS.
I'M GONNA PUT THIS POM-POM ON IT
THERE.
NOW I'M GOING TO ADD SOME EXTRA
GUMNUTS.
AND THERE IT IS, THE RAG WREATH.
IT LOOKS SO GOOD AND IT'S READY
FOR MY BEDROOM DOOR.
AND PLUS IT COMES WITH ITS OWN
LITTLE GUMNUT KNOCKER.
SEE YOU!

Steam shoots out of a beaker in a laboratory.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Gabe dances around the craft table. He bangs on the table and points.

Text reads, “Gabe”.

Gabe says,
HEY, SCIENCE SEEKERS.
NOT ALL OF US HAVE A... SPARE
ROCKETSHIP LYING AROUND AT OUR
HOUSE.
WELL, I DID.

(Lift-off countdown in background)

Gabe adds,
UNTIL THE UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT
WITH MY NEIGHBOUR'S ROOF.

(Fireworks sounding, crashing)

Gabe looks down while he rests his head on his hand.

He says,
SO, THE REST OF US HAVE TO
SETTLE FOR A MUCH SMALLER
VERSION OF AN INTERPLANETARY
CRAFT.
AND TODAY, I'M GONNA SHOW YOU
HOW TO MAKE ONE!

A red and yellow paper rocket ship with streamers flies across the room.

Text reads, “Bottle Rocket”.

Gabe continues,
THIS IS SUPER FUN.
AND THE BEST PART IS, YOU'RE
RECYCLING THINGS THAT WOULD
NORMALLY GET THROWN OUT.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
SOME LONG TUBES, AND SOME SHORT
TUBES AS WELL, A MILK BOTTLE, A
POTATO CHIP TUBE, AND SOME TAPE.
TAPE YOUR SHORTER TUBE TO
YOUR LONGER TUBE AND THEN...

(Horn honking)

Text reads, “Adult Alert”.

Gabe adds,
CUT A HOLE IN IT BECAUSE THAT'S
WHAT YOUR ROCKET LAUNCHER IS
GONNA SIT ON.
TAPE YOUR TUBE INTO THE HOLE.
IT'S GOT TO BE NICE AND SNUG.
TAPE IT IN TO MAKE SURE NO AIR
CAN ESCAPE.
NOW, WE'RE GONNA TAPE THIS
BOTTLE TO THE END OF THIS TUBE.
AND AGAIN, MAKE SURE NO AIR CAN
ESCAPE.
THERE WE GO, A VERY NICE LOOKING
ROCKET LAUNCHER MADE.
NOW, ANY ROCKET LAUNCHER NEEDS A
FAIRLY OBVIOUS PART, THE ROCKET.
I'VE USED A POTATO CHIP TUBE.
AND YOU CAN DECORATE IT LIKE...
THIS.

The cardboard tube in Gabe’s hand turns into the red and yellow rocket.

Gabe says,
TIME TO LAUNCH!
PLACE THE ROCKET ONTO THE
LAUNCHER, LIKE SO, AND THEN STEP
ON THE MILK BOTTLE REALLY HARD,
LIKE THIS.

Gabe stomps on a milk bottle taped to cardboard tubes. The rocket flies high into the air and falls back to the floor.

Gabe responds,
WOW!
LET'S SEE THAT AGAIN!

Text reads, “Slowmo Replay”.

The rocket launch is replayed.

Gabe says,
WOW!
I KNOW THE OTHERS IN THE DEN ARE
GONNA LOVE THIS.
HOW DO I KNOW?
COME ON, IT'S ROCKET SCIENCE.

Gabe picks up the rocket and runs to the den.

Text reads, “How to do Stuff Good”.

Cooper and Marianne sit at the purple table in the den.

Cooper says,
IT'S ALMOST THE END OF
THE EPISODE AND I-- I'M SO
EXCITED TO SEE THIS.

Marianne replies,
YEAH, ME TOO.
BUT WHERE'S GABE?

Marianne and Cooper walk to a bottle rocket set up on a yellow and blue carpet. Gabe runs downstairs wearing an astronaut’s helmet.

He shouts, TIME TO LAUNCH!

Cooper and Marianne clap.

Cooper says, THAT LOOKS AWESOME.

Marianne adds, AWESOME, DUDE.

Gabe takes off the helmet.

He replies,
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
NOW, I'M GOING TO NEED A
COUNTDOWN.

Cooper and Marianne count down,
FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE.

Gabe shouts, BLAST OFF!

He stomps on the milk bottle and the rocket flies high into the air. Cooper and Marianne look amazed. They catch the rocket as it falls.

Cooper says,
WHOA, THAT WAS SO COOL!

Gabe responds, OH, THANKS.

Cooper adds,
THANKS FOR WATCHING, GUYS.

Marianne says, SEE YOU NEXT TIME.

Cooper, Marianne, and Gabe wave.

They shout, BYE!

Gabe says,
I'M GONNA TRY THAT AGAIN.

Cooper and Marianne count down,
THREE, TWO, ONE.

Gabe shouts, BLAST OFF!

He launches the rocket again. Marianne catches it.

Cooper says,
OH, THERE IT IS.
WHOA!
OH MISSED IT, NO!

Cooper drops the rocket. Marianne picks it up.

She says, THAT WENT SO HIGH.

A narrator says,
