Two brains move over a line maze. Two chomping halves of an animated pink brain join together. Text on banners over the brain reads, “Hungry Brain!”

[Upbeat music plays]

A voice says, HUNGRY BRAIN!

An animated boy with short curly black hair and a red and white tee-shirt smiles as the landscape around him changes from snowy mountaintops to a dirt road surrounded by grass.

A second voice narrates, CHECK
THIS PLACE OUT, AND THAT PLACE.

THAT'S RIGHT, MY FRIENDS, PRETTY
MUCH EVERY PLACE YOU LOOKED
EIGHT HUNDRED YEARS AGO WAS
PART OF THE MONGOL EMPIRE.

[Rustling]

A drawing of a man says, SEE
THIS MAP? THAT'S MY EMPIRE, BABY.
YOU CAN'T GET YOUR TINY BRAINS
AROUND IT, IT'S HUGE!

Text reads, “The Top on Mongolian Emperor Genghis Khan.”

The narrator says, HERE'S
THE TOP ON MONGOLIAN
EMPEROR GENGHIS KHAN.

A blue number five appears.

[Whooshing, ding]

The narrator says, NUMBER
FIVE, HE RALLIED DIFFERENT CLANS.

Numbers read, “Eleven fifty-five.”

[Whooshing]

The narrator says, WHEN
BABY GENGHIS WAS BORN
IN ELEVEN FIFTY-FIVE, HIS DADA
WAS POISONED BY ENEMIES - NASTY!

BUT RELAX, BABY GENGHIS GREW
UP TO BE CHIEF GENGHIS, JUST
LIKE DAD.

HIS GOAL WAS TO GET THE CLANS
HE MET TO PLAY NICE TOGETHER.

The drawing of the man says, I PUT
THE GOAL IN MONGOLIA.

A green number four appears.

[Whooshing, ding]

The narrator says, NUMBER
FOUR, HE WAS A GOOD RIDER.

[Hoof beats, whooshing]

The narrator says, GENGHIS
KHAN WAS NEVER HAPPIER THAN
WHEN HE WAS ON HORSEBACK.

AT THAT TIME, THE MONGOLS
WERE AMONG THE BEST RIDERS
IN THE WORLD.

[Neighing, whoosh, hoof beats]

The narrator says, THEY HAD
MAD HORSEMANSHIP SKILLS,
REALLY USEFUL IN HELPING THEM
WIN LOADS OF BATTLES AND
CONQUER VAST TERRITORIES.

BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES!

THEY ALSO CREATED A HUGE
POSTAL NETWORK, IN WHICH MESSAGES
AND GOODS PASSED FROM ONE RIDER
TO THE OTHER AT DIZZYING SPEED.

PHEW!

[Whooshing]

The drawing says, WHAT DO YOU
MEAN IT WASN'T AS FAST AS SMS?
I’LL SMASH YOUR PUNY
TEXT MESSAGES!

A green number five appears.

[Whooshing, ding]

The narrator says, NUMBER
THREE, WE DON'T REALLY KNOW
WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE.

FOR SOMEONE WITH SUCH A BIG
EGO, GENGHIS TOOK NO SELFIES.

WAS HE HIPSTER-ISH?

Photographs move behind the drawing of the man.

The drawing asks, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

[Glass breaks, whooshing]

The narrator asks, OR PREPPY?

The drawing asks, I SMASH PREP BOYS.

The narrator asks, OR MUSTACHIOED?

The drawing asks, SUFFERING SUCCOTASH!

NOW, THAT INS BY A WHISKER.

A red number five appears.

[Whooshing, ding]

The narrator says, NUMBER
TWO, HE RECRUITED HIS ENEMIES.

I'M NOT POINTING THE FINGER,
BUT SOMEONE OCCASIONALLY
RECRUITED HIS FORMER FOES,
AND IT WAS LUCKY FOR THEM.

MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, GENGHIS
KHAN SMASHED HIS ENEMIES.
HOW MANY?

[Hoof beats, whooshing]

Text reads, “Forty Million.”

The narrator says, TRY MORE
THAN FORTY MILLION SMASHED
ON SEVERAL CONTINENTS.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

A yellow number one appears.

[Whooshing, ding]

The narrator says, NUMBER
ONE, HIS EMPIRE CONTINUED TO
GROW AFTER HIS DEATH.

Numbers read, “Twelve twenty-seven.”

The second narrator says, GENGHIS
KHAN DIED IN TWELVE TWENTY-SEVEN,
BUT MONGOLS' SMASHING CONTINUED
FOR SEVERAL DECADES.

[Whoosh, hoof beats, paper rustles]

The narrator says, AT ITS PEAK,
THE EMPIRE COVERED MORE THAN
THIRTY-THREE MILLION SQUARE
KILOMETRES, STILL ONE OF THE
LARGEST EMPIRES IN HUMAN HISTORY.

BUT FOR AN EMPIRE WON ON
HORSEBACK, IT DIDN'T REMAIN
"STABLE" FOR VERY LONG.

HORSE? STABLE? NO?

FORGET IT.

[Boinging]
