Children shout, B.O.T.!
[Gentle futuristic music plays, whirring]
A grey spaceship flies past stars in space. It has a red, yellow and green light on top.
Children shout, B.O.T.! B.O.T.!
[Slide whistle, clanking]
A silver robot with a blue circle between its two eyes assembles in the spaceship. The robot moves on three wheels. Green text above the robot reads, “B.O.T.”
Children shout, BEASTIE OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER!
B.O.T. AND THE BEASTIES!
Text reads, “B.O.T. and the Beasties.” Beasties run and knock the text over.
[Horns blare, boinging, energetic music plays]
Children shout, BEASTIES COME!
AND BEASTIES GO!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
OH NO!
Two small beasties with red beaks shrug at each other. One has a purple body, the other has a blue body. Both have red arms and legs.
A narrator asks, WHAT IS THIS BEASTY?
[Thuds]
The narrator says, B.O.T., THIS IS
YOUR MISSION. DETECT BEASTIES.
[Whirring, clicking]
The narrator says, COLLECT SOUND DATA.
COLLECT PICTURE DATA. GO!
A round door opens on the floor of the spaceship and B.O.T. drops down.
[Wind gusts]
Snow and ice covers the surface of a planet.
The narrator says, SNOWY, ICY WORLD.
B.O.T. falls to the snowy ground.
[Futuristic music plays, slide whistle, clicking, whirring]
The purple and blue beasties jump on snow behind B.O.T..
[Beeping]
The narrator says, BEASTIE DETECTED.
[Rustling, squawking]
B.O.T. looks down at the small beasties. The purple beastie makes a snowball and throws it at the blue beastie. The blue beastie ducks and the snowball hits B.O.T. in the eye.
[Squawking, rustling, thump]
The narrator says, CHUCKING.
The blue beastie points at the purple beastie.
[Blue beastie laughs]
The blue beastie throws a snowball at the purple beastie. The purple beastie dodges it by diving into the snow.
[Drum roll, slide whistle]
The narrator says, CHUCKING.
The blue beastie disappears into the snow.
[Clatter, snow rustles, wheels squeak, upbeat music plays]
B.O.T. looks at the snow and sinks into a large pile with only its head showing. The two beasties approach.
[Slide whistle, squawking]
The two beasties throw snowballs on B.O.T.’s head.
[Squawking, rustling, drum roll, cymbals crash]
The two beasties gleefully pile snow on B.O.T.’s head.
[Laughing, cheering]
The narrator says, CHUCKING.
[Squawking]
[Rustling]
B.O.T. shakes the snow off its head.
The purple beastie says, WOO-HOO.
The purple beastie throws a snowball. It hits the blue beastie.
[Rustling, chattering]
The blue beastie hits the purple beastie with a snowball.
[Rustling, cymbals crash]
The blue beastie says, WOO-HOO, WOO-HOO!
B.O.T. extends its recorder. The purple beastie hits the blue beastie with a snowball.
[Chattering, whirring, beeping]
A snowball knocks the recorder away from B.O.T.. B.O.T. rolls across the snow to the recorder.
[Whirring, rustling]
The purple beastie says, YIPPEE.
The beasties hit each other with snowballs. With each hit, they grow a little.
The blue beastie says, HA-HA.
[Clattering, recorder plays beastie chatter, whirring]
The narrator says, SOUND DATA COLLECTED.
[Chattering, slide whistle]
The purple beastie dodges a large snowball. B.O.T. runs on top of the snowball as it rolls.
[Upbeat music plays, whirring]
B.O.T. rides the snowball down a steep hill.
[Rustling, whirring, beeping]
B.O.T. extends its legs up to the top of the hill. A snowball hits its head and knocks it off.
[Narrator gasps]
B.O.T.’s legs launch its body to its head and B.O.T. reassembles.
[Whirring, whoosh, cymbal crashes, clattering]
The two beasties crawl out of the snow. They loom over B.O.T..
[Chattering]
B.O.T. takes out its camera and gets scooped up in a snowball. The purple beastie throws the snowball and the blue beastie ducks. The snowball lands on the snow and B.O.T. reassembles beside it.
[Slide whistle, upbeat music plays, thump]
B.O.T. looks dizzy. The blue beastie makes a giant snowball and rolls B.O.T. into it.
[Whirring, slide whistle, thump]
The snowball hits the purple beastie.
The purple beastie says, OH.
The blue beastie says, HA-HA.
[Grunts, toots]
A snowball hits the blue beastie as it gloats.
[Thump, whirring, clicking]
The purple beastie grows. The beastie throw snow at each other.
[Upbeat music plays, slide whistles]
The narrator says, CHUCKING.
B.O.T. dodges falling snow.
[Splatting]
Snow lands on B.O.T..
[Cymbals crash, slide whistle]
The narrator says, OOH.
The purple beastie scoops up the snow with B.O.T. and throws it. The snowball hits the blue beastie and B.O.T. lands on the beastie’s head. B.O.T. holds its camera.
[Cymbals crash]
The narrator says, OOH.
[Chattering, whirring, rustling, camera clicking]
A snowball hits the purple beastie.
[Clicking]
The purple beastie says, OOF.
The blue beastie says, HO-HO!
HMM. HUH?
The blue beastie looks down and notices the snow has disappeared. The beasties stand on brown dirt. The circle between B.O.T.’s eyes flashes green.
[Beeping]
The narrator says, PICTURE DATA COLLECTED.
ALL DATA COLLECTED FOR SNOWY CHUCKER.
The beasties look at the dirt and cry. They shrink.
[Futuristic music plays, weeping]
The narrator says, MISSION COMPLETE.
[Whirring]
The spaceship flies away. Snowflakes fall on the crying beasties.
[Crying, laughing]
The beasties dance in the falling snow.
The beasties cheer, WOO-HOO, WOO-HOO!
[Upbeat music plays, whirring, honking, boings, slide whistles]
