GRAN GRAN NARRATES: It was a crisp autumn morning. The leaves were changing colour and falling from the trees. And JoJo and Gran Gran, that's me, were relaxing at home with our books.
[Footsteps tap]
DESCRIPTION: In Gran Gran’s living room, JoJo lies on the carpet drawing pictures, with her Captain Chloe books spread around her. Gran Gran sits on the couch reading a book. JoJo puts down her crayon and sits on the couch between Gran Gran and Panda.
JOJO: What are you reading, Gran Gran?

JOJO: Hi, Cynthia!

CYNTHIA: Hello! I just found this teddy outside, and I wondered if it might be yours, JoJo.
JOJO: It's not mine, Cynthia.

CYNTHIA: Oh! Someone else must have dropped it outside by accident.
JOJO: I wonder whose teddy it is.

CYNTHIA: What a good idea!

JOJO: I think I found a clue, Gran Gran! That's a space t-shirt.
GRAN GRAN: Maybe the person who owns this teddy loves space.
[Light music plays]
JOJO: Hmm. I know! Isaiah has lots of books about space. It must be his teddy!
GRAN GRAN: Oh, yes! Let's go find him.
[Whoosh, upbeat music notes play, birds chirp]
DESCRIPTION: JoJo and Gran Gran arrive at the park café and wave to Ned, who sits at one table, and Joshua and Isaiah, who sit at another table.
JOSHUA: Hi, everyone!
GRAN GRAN: Hi!
[Happy music notes play]
JOJO: Isaiah!
DESCRIPTION: Isaiah and JoJo hug.
ISAIAH: JoJo!
DESCRIPTION: JoJo shows Isaiah and Joshua the teddy bear.
GRAN GRAN: We're on a detective hunt to find the owner of this teddy.

JOJO: That's the clue I found. Because you love space, it made me think this is your teddy.
ISAIAH: But this teddy isn't mine, JoJo.
JOJO: Oh!

GRAN GRAN: Oh, don't worry, JoJo. Let's see if we can find any more clues on the teddy.

ISAIAH: Oh! That could be from someone's clothes.
[JoJo gasps]
JOJO: Raya's got blue gloves! It must be Raya's teddy.
GRAN GRAN: Let's go and find her.
JOJO: Bye, Isaiah!

[Monty barks, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: At a market, Raya and a white-haired woman stand in front of a fabric store.
GRAN GRAN: Hello!

JOJO: Raya!
RAYA: Hi, JoJo!
JOJO: We're on a detective hunt to find out whose teddy this is. I've got this clue. Can I see your gloves, please?
RAYA: Okay.
[Light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Raya holds up her blue mittens.
JOJO: Oh! The colour of the thread isn't the same. I thought the blue thread was from your blue gloves. That's why I thought it was your teddy.
RAYA: Sorry, JoJo. It's not my teddy.
JOJO: Oh.
GRAN GRAN: Don't worry, Detective JoJo. Let's try and find another clue.
[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Sidranha picks up a drawing of a rock that was taped to the concrete pedestal of the statue.
SIDRANHA: It's a rock.
[Footsteps patter, leaves crunch]
DESCRIPTION: They walk to a large rock, and the blond-haired boy points.
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: There's the rock!
SIDRANHA: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The children search around the rock.
DESAYA: Maybe the clue is on it!
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: I don't see the clue.
SIDRANHA: Under...Where is it?
DESCRIPTION: The blond-haired boy’s mum points.
BOY’S MUM: Guys, there's another rock over there. Shall we go check that one out?

SHORT-HAIRED BOY: Detective, I found something.
GIRL WITH SCRUNCHIE: Detective Dennis, what have you found?
DESCRIPTION: The short-haired boy, Dennis, looks down.
DENNIS: I found a cookie crumb!
GIRL WITH SCRUNCHIE: That must mean someone is eating our cookies! Case solved.
DENNIS: Yeah.
[Whoosh, mellow music notes play]
DESCRIPTION: Back in Gran Gran’s house, JoJo sits at the dining room table and studies the teddy bear through a magnifying glass. Gran Gran stands nearby, hands on her hips. A notepad, a pencil, and a pair of binoculars lie on the table.
JOJO: I think I found a clue, Gran Gran! That's a space t-shirt.
GRAN GRAN: Maybe the person who owns this teddy loves space.
[Light music plays]
JOJO: Hmm. I know! Isaiah has lots of books about space. It must be his teddy!
GRAN GRAN: Oh, yes! Let's go find him.
[Whoosh, upbeat music notes play, birds chirp]
DESCRIPTION: JoJo and Gran Gran arrive at the park café and wave to Ned, who sits at one table, and Joshua and Isaiah, who sit at another table.
JOSHUA: Hi, everyone!
GRAN GRAN: Hi!
[Happy music notes play]
JOJO: Isaiah!
DESCRIPTION: Isaiah and JoJo hug.
ISAIAH: JoJo!
DESCRIPTION: JoJo shows Isaiah and Joshua the teddy bear.
GRAN GRAN: We're on a detective hunt to find the owner of this teddy.
ISAIAH: That's a cool space t-shirt.
JOJO: That's the clue I found. Because you love space, it made me think this is your teddy.
ISAIAH: But this teddy isn't mine, JoJo.
JOJO: Oh!
[Mellow music plays]
GRAN GRAN: Oh, don't worry, JoJo. Let's see if we can find any more clues on the teddy.
DESCRIPTION: JoJo and Isaiah peer through the magnifying glass at the teddy bear and find a blue thread.
JOJO: I found another clue!
ISAIAH: Oh! That could be from someone's clothes.
[JoJo gasps]
JOJO: Raya's got blue gloves! It must be Raya's teddy.
GRAN GRAN: Let's go and find her.
JOJO: Bye, Isaiah!
ISAIAH: Bye! See you, JoJo!
[Monty barks, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Isaiah and Joshua wave as JoJo and Gran Gran walk away. Behind them, Jared looks at the ground beside their table.
JOSHUA: See you later.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: At a market, Raya and a white-haired woman stand in front of a fabric store.
GRAN GRAN: Hello!
WHITE-HAIRED WOMAN: Hello!
JOJO: Raya!
RAYA: Hi, JoJo!
JOJO: We're on a detective hunt to find out whose teddy this is. I've got this clue. Can I see your gloves, please?
RAYA: Okay.
[Light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Raya holds up her blue mittens.
JOJO: Oh! The colour of the thread isn't the same. I thought the blue thread was from your blue gloves. That's why I thought it was your teddy.
RAYA: Sorry, JoJo. It's not my teddy.
JOJO: Oh.
GRAN GRAN: Don't worry, Detective JoJo. Let's try and find another clue.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: JoJo and Raya examine the teddy bear through the magnifying glass and find a small label with two mountains on the back of the shirt.
JOJO: Detective Gran Gran! This label features two mountains.
GRAN GRAN: I've seen this label before, detective JoJo. Come with me.
JOJO: See you, Raya!
RAYA: Bye!
WHITE-HAIRED WOMAN: Bye-bye!
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: In Gran Gran’s dining room, JoJo sits with the teddy bear on the table in front of her. Gran Gran holds a second teddy bear wearing a green shirt with a beach scene on the front.
GRAN GRAN: This is my teddy from when I was a little girl. She's called Nellie.
JOJO: Hello, Nellie!
[Mellow music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran holds the magnifying glass over a label on the back of Nellie's shirt. The label has two mountains on it.
GRAN GRAN: And look at this.
JOJO: It's the same picture, Detective Gran Gran!
GRAN GRAN: It's the Saint Lucian Piton Mountains. This teddy is from Saint Lucia, just like Nellie.
JOJO: So, the owner got their teddy in Saint Lucia. Hmm. Let's look at the clues again, Gran Gran.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: A bulletin board on the table has a drawing of the teddy bear pinned to the top. Gran Gran and JoJo hold more drawings, and photographs lie on the table in front of JoJo. They pin drawings of a rocket ship, wavy blue thread, and the two mountains in a row below the teddy bear drawing.
JOJO: We have three clues. Space. Blue thread. And Saint Lucia.
GRAN GRAN: Who links all three?
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: JoJo picks up photographs of Raya and Isaiah, leaving photos of Ned, Jared, and Charlene on the table. On the bulletin board, red threads connect the bottom row of drawings to the teddy bear drawing.
JOJO: We know it's not Isaiah. Or Raya.
DESCRIPTION: Yellow thread connects Isaiah’s photo to the rocket ship, and a sticky note with a letter X is on the corner of the photo. Purple thread connects Raya’s photo to the drawing of the thread, with a sticky note with an X on her photo.
GRAN GRAN: What about Ned?
JOJO: Blue hat, space rocket... But not Saint Lucia.
DESCRIPTION: Blue thread connects the photo of Ned holding a small rocket to the rocket ship and thread drawings. A sticky note with an X appears at the corner of his photo. JoJo picks up Charlene’s photo and examines it through the magnifying glass.
JOJO: What about Charlene, Panda? A blue top, but no space. Or Saint Lucia!
DESCRIPTION: Green thread connects Charlene’s photo to the thread drawing. A sticky note with an X appears at the corner of her photo. JoJo picks up Jared’s photo and points at his blue jacket, his space shirt, and the photo of the Saint Lucian Piton Mountains he holds.
JOJO: Blue top, space, Saint Lucia! Could it be? Ah!
DESCRIPTION: On the bulletin board, red threads connect Jared’s photo to the row of drawings. JoJo draws on the notepad.
GRAN GRAN: Let's check the clues one last time.
[JoJo gasps]
DESCRIPTION: JoJo points at each red thread leading to Jared’s photograph.
JOJO: I've got it!
[Whoosh, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In front of his shop, Jared kneels by a crate in front of a vegetable display. He stands and scratches his head as JoJo and Gran Gran approach.
JOJO: Jared!
JARED: Hey, JoJo! Gran Gran!
DESCRIPTION: JoJo and Jared do a special handshake that involves slapping their hands together, fist-bumping, and a high five.
JOJO: We're on a detective hunt, Jared.
GRAN GRAN: We're looking for someone who likes space.
JARED: I like space!
JOJO: Someone who wears blue.
JARED: My jacket is blue.
JOJO: And someone who has a teddy from Saint Lucia.
JARED: I have a teddy from Saint Lucia!
JOJO: I knew it!
[Tap, Jared gasps]
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran gives JoJo the teddy bear, and she shows it to Jared. Jared picks up the teddy bear, Mr. Snuffles, and hugs him against his cheek.
JARED: That's him! Mr. Snuffles! I thought I'd lost you. I've been looking everywhere for him today. Thank you so much, Detectives JoJo and Gran Gran.
GRAN GRAN: Oh, you're welcome!
[JoJo giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Jared hugs Mr. Snuffles.
JARED: Welcome home, Mr. Snuffles.
[Whoosh, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In live-action, in a park, three children sit beside a red-haired woman. Desaya wears a pink touque, a patterned blue jacket, and a pink scarf. Sidranha wears a striped touque, a grey scarf, and a yellow jacket. A blond-haired boy has short hair and wears a grey scarf and a dark blue coat.
BLOND-HAIRED BOY NARRATES: Desaya, Sidranha, and I are going to be detectives with my Mum!
BOY’S MUM: All around the park, there's lots of hidden picture clues. And once you've found them all and put them together, they're going to reveal a special reward. And then you've solved the case!
CHILD: Yay!
BOY’S MUM: Shall we have a look at your first clue?
DESCRIPTION: The blond-haired boy’s mum shows the children a drawing of a bandstand.
CHILDREN: The bandstand!
BOY’S MUM: It is! So, your next clue might be over there. Shall we go and see?
CHILDREN: Yeah!
[Coats rustle, footsteps patter, children giggle]
DESCRIPTION: The children run to the bandstand, and the blond-haired boy removes a drawing of a slide from the side.
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: Found a clue! It's a picture of the slide!
BLOND-HAIRED BOY NARRATES: Let's go to the slide.
[Footsteps patter]
DESCRIPTION: In a playground, a drawing of a statue is taped to the top of the slide, and Desaya picks it up.
DESAYA: I found a clue! It's a picture of... It's a statue!
BLOND-HAIRED BOY NARRATES: Let's find the statue.
[Slide squeaks, footsteps patter]
DESCRIPTION: The children slide down the slide. They walk on fallen leaves on a path and arrive at the statue.
SIDRANHA: It's the statue!
DESAYA: Another clue!
[Picture scrapes]
DESCRIPTION: Sidranha picks up a drawing of a rock that was taped to the concrete pedestal of the statue.
SIDRANHA: It's a rock.
[Footsteps patter, leaves crunch]
DESCRIPTION: They walk to a large rock, and the blond-haired boy points.
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: There's the rock!
SIDRANHA: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The children search around the rock.
DESAYA: Maybe the clue is on it!
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: I don't see the clue.
SIDRANHA: Under...Where is it?
DESCRIPTION: The blond-haired boy’s mum points.
BOY’S MUM: Guys, there's another rock over there. Shall we go check that one out?
CHILDREN: Oh yeah! Let's go!
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: Yeah, let's go, guys!
[Footsteps patter quickly]
DESCRIPTION: The children run to the next rock and find a picture of a water fountain.
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: I found our next clue!
SIDRANHA: What is it?
BLOND-HAIRED BOY: It's a water fountain!
DESAYA: Let's go to the water fountain!
[Children shout, water splashes]
DESCRIPTION: The children run to the water fountain beside a bridge in a stream. They put the clues on a bench and turn them over.
CHILD: Whoa!
BLOND-HAIRED BOY NARRATES: Let's put all these clues together. It might help!
DESCRIPTION: They put the clues together like a puzzle, revealing a drawing of three cupcakes.
CHILDREN: Cupcakes!
DESCRIPTION: The children sit at a table near the water and eat cupcakes.
BLOND-HAIRED BOY NARRATES: Our prize is cupcakes! We love being detectives and solving the case.
[Children cheer, hands slap]
DESCRIPTION: Desaya and the blond-haired boy’s mum high-five. The boy and Sidranha high-five.
[Whoosh, JoJo hums]
DESCRIPTION: Back in Gran Gran’s living room, Gran Gran sits on the couch with Jojo, who hugs Panda and sways. JoJo puts Panda on the couch beside her.
JOJO: Being a detective was really fun, Gran Gran. I'm glad Jared has got Mr. Snuffles back.
[Mellow music plays]
GRAN GRAN: We followed the clues and cracked the case of the lost teddy!
JOJO: I love you, Detective Gran Gran.
[Gran Gran chuckles]
GRAN GRAN: I love you too, Detective JoJo.
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran holds Jojo close, and they both smile.
