Descriptive Transcript

[Upbeat theme music]

DESCRIPTION: In the town of Adventure Bay, there is the Lookout Tower, a tall, red, and silver tower with vehicles inside.

SINGERS: PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol. We'll be there on the double

DESCRIPTION: In the tower, Ryder, a human boy with brown hair, wearing a red vest, presses a button on a controller. Six colourful badges appea.

SINGERS: Whenever there's a problem Round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups, will come and save the day

DESCRIPTION: On a grassy field, six puppies play with a soccer ball. The puppies zoom up the elevator in the Lookout Tower, wearing their uniforms. Marshall is a Dalmatian and is wearing a red firefighter uniform with a red hard hat; Zuma is a Chocolate Labrador and is wearing an orange water patrol uniform with an orange helmet; Rubble is a Bulldog and is wearing a yellow hard hat and yellow construction uniform; Chase is a German Shepard and is wearing a blue police uniform and a blue police hat; Rocky is a grey pup and is wearing a green recycling uniform and a green baseball hat; and Skye is a Cockapoo who is wearing a pink flight uniform with pink goggles.

SINGERS: Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye. Yeah, they're on the way

DESCRIPTION: The Paw Patrol zooms down a slide wrapped around the Lookout Tower. Later, they all drive down a street in their vehicles: Ryder on his ATV; Marshall in his firetruck; Chase in his police truck; Rubble drives his bulldozer; Skye flies her copter; Zuma travels in his hovercraft; and Rocky drives his recycling truck.

SINGERS: PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol. Whenever you're in trouble. PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol, We'll be there on the double

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger wears a purple suit and hat and rides an electric bike. As he steals a pie, Skye scoops him up, and the Paw Patrol stops him. Ryder holds up a bag of treats and throws them to the Paw Patrol. They all hug Ryder.

SINGERS: No job is too big, no pup is too small. PAW Patrol we're on a roll So, here we go, PAW Patrol, whoa-oh-oh PAW Patrol, whoa-oh-oh-oh, PAW Patrol

DESCRIPTION: Skye flies a pink jet.

SKYE: Adventure Bay Airport, this is Skye, requesting permission to land.

RYDER [Over a radio:] Copy that, Skye. You are cleared for landing.

DESCRIPTION: At the Lookout Tower, Francois Turbot and Marshall run and look at the sky.

FRANCOIS: Ahh, finally! She's here! She's here! And just in time too!

MARSHALL: In time for what, Francois?

DESCRIPTION: Francois holds out a card with a photo of a hot air balloon on it. Inside, the card has an illustration of Francois walking on a tightrope.

FRANCOIS: Why, for this! The Sky-high Stunt Show, in which I, Francois, will walk zee tightrope between two hot air balloons! So far, I have zee balloons, I have zee ropes, but zee one thing I do not have is zee...

[Marshall gasping]

MARSHALL: Ooh. Let me guess. A stick!

DESCRIPTION: Skye emerges from the jet, holding a black pole in her mouth. She gives it to Francois.

FRANCOIS: Magnifique! This is not a stick! It is a balancing pole!

DESCRIPTION: Francois taps the pole. It glows and expands into a balancing pole.

FRANCOIS: It will help me keep my balance as I walk the tightrope. Like this!

DESCRIPTION: Francois holds out the balancing pole and begins to walk in a line. He walks backwards and trips over some suitcases.

FRANCOIS: Oops! Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Over by the Lookout Tower entrance, Cap'n Turbot and Ryder walk out the door.

CAP’N TURBOT: That was truly a terrific tower tour, Ryd–

DESCRIPTION: Francois crashes into Cap’n Turbot.

FRANCOIS: Wah! Aah!

[Crashing]

[Francois chuckling nervously]

FRANCOIS: See? Perfectly balanced!

CAP’N TURBOT: Yes. Perfectly balanced…

DESCRIPTION: Francois is standing on top of Cap’n Turbot.

CAP’N TURBOT: on top of me!

[All laughing]

DESCRIPTION: Later in the day, at the beach, two hot air balloons are grounded. A group of people watches Cap’n Turbot and Francois. Cap’n Turbot works on anchoring the balloon, and Francois holds the tightrope to the ground.

[Francois straining]

[Straining]

FRANCOIS: Please hurry, cousin! My adoring fans, and my arms, are getting restless!

CAP’N TURBOT: I would be more brisk, Francois, but someone blew up the balloons before binding them to the anchors!

FRANCOIS: Ha! Artistic inspiration waits for no one!

[Straining]

DESCRIPTION: Danny, with brown hair and wearing an orange shirt, approaches Francois. He remotely controls a flying drone.

DANNY: The drone's ready, Francois! Now, I can record every X-treme second of your stunt, up high and up close.

FRANCOIS: Well, then...

[Clearing throat]

FRANCOIS: This stunt is only for professionals, like moi. Now, let's get this show on the rope.

[Laughing]

DESCRIPTION: Francois lets go of the rope, the balloon buckles, causing Cap’n Turbot to lose hold of his anchor.

FRANCOIS: Oh!

DESCRIPTION: Francois takes a running start and jumps onto the tightrope.

[Crowd cheering]

CROWD: Yay!

CAP’N TURBOT: No, no, no, no! Wait, Francois! This balloon is beyond buoyant! And it isn't tied down!

FRANCOIS: Sorry, cousin! I cannot hear you! The Sky-High Stunt Show has begun!

DANNY: Time for an X-treme close-up.

DESCRIPTION: Danny flies his drone close to Francois. The drone bounces off the balancing pole and hits one of the balloons. A hole pops in the balloon.

FRANCOIS: Whoa, whoa, whoa!

[Yelping]

[Cap'n Turbot and Francois yelling]

DESCRIPTION: The tightrope breaks, and Francois falls. One of the balloons flies away from the beach.

DANNY: Oh! Maybe a little too X-treme.

[Francois yelling]

[All gasping]

DESCRIPTION: Francois holds onto the tightrope, and Cap’n Turbot holds onto the anchor.

Whoa!

[Yelping]

CAP’N TURBOT: Francois! I can't hold it much longer! Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot loses the anchor, and he and Francois go flying into the sky.

FRANCOIS: Yah!

CAP'N TURBOT: Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Farmer Yumi drives down the street in a red truck. She has two pigs in the truck with her.

FARMER YUMI: I spy with my little eye something… red!

DESCRIPTION: The red hot air balloon flies into the sky in front of Farmer Yumi.

[Squealing]

FARMER YUMI: That's right, Corny! The big red hot air balloon that's… coming right for us!

[Tires screeching]

DESCRIPTION: Farmer Yumi tries to turn away, but the anchor on the balloon hooks onto the truck and lifts her into the sky. Two hay bales fly off the end of her truck, almost hitting two people.

FARMER YUMI: Whoa! Whoa! Ooh! Sorry!

DESCRIPTION: Back in the sky, Cap’n Turbot and Francois fly higher into the sky. Francois is hanging onto the balloon by the tightrope.

CAP’N TURBOT: This is one positively petrifying predicament!

[Straining]

FRANCOIS: You're telling me!

CAP’N TURBOT: Hang in there, Francois. I'll call the PAW Patrol.

DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot picks up his phone. In the Lookout Tower, Ryder picks up a tablet and answers the video call.

[Communicator ringing]

RYDER: Hi, Cap'n Turbot! How's the Sky-high Stunt Show going?

CAP’N TURBOT: Not good. Because of a big ballooning blunder, we're hopelessly hovering higher and higher!

DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot shows Ryder Francois, who is dangling in the air.

FRANCOIS: If you think this is bad, you should see the other balloon.

RYDER: Other balloon?

DESCRIPTION: Ryder looks out the Lookout Tower window and sees Farmer Yumi’s truck hanging in the sky by the other balloon.

[Horn honking]

CAP’N TURBOT: We require a really rapid rescue!

FRANCOIS: Tout de suite!

RYDER: Don't worry. No balloon is too high, no pup is too small!

[Beeping]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder signals to the Paw Patrol. Three badges light up: an anchor, a recycling symbol, and a fire.

RYDER: PAW Patrol to the Air Rescue Control Tower!

PUPS: Ryder needs us!

[Barking]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall runs to the Lookout Tower, trips over a suitcase and rolls.

MARSHALL: Whoa!

PAW PATROL MEMBERS: Marshall!

BOTH: Look out!

MARSHALL: Whoa!

[Crashing]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall lands on top of the rest of the Paw Patrol.

MARSHALL: Wow. This elevator is really packed!

[Pups laughing]

[Upbeat, adventurous music]

DESCRIPTION: The Paw Patrol lines up as the elevator shoots up the Lookout Tower. They run into the office, suited up.

SKYE: Air Rescue Pups ready for action, Ryder, sir!

RYDER: Good hustle, pups. Francois' big balloon stunt went wrong.

DESCRIPTION: Ryder turns on the television, displaying an animation of Francois’ failed stunt show and Farmer Yumi flying in the sky.

[Francois yelping]

RYDER: And now he, Cap'n Turbot, and Farmer Yumi are in big trouble.

YUMI: Whoa!

RYDER: So, for this mission, I'll need…

DESCRIPTION: Ryder clicks a button on his remote that displays animations of each Paw Patrol member’s roles.

RYDER: Chase. I need you to get Farmer Yumi's truck down from that balloon. You can use your nets to catch any falling farm equipment.

CHASE: Air Rescue Chase is on the case!

RYDER: And Marshall. You'll use your fire plane's ladder to get Francois and Cap'n Turbot off of their balloon.

MARSHALL: I'm fired up, up, and away!

RYDER: All right! Air Rescue pups are on a roll!

DESCRIPTION: Chase slides down an opening in the floor and into an elevator. On the rooftop, he gets into his helicopter.

SINGERS: PAW Patrol! Go, go, go, go PAW Patrol! Go, go, go, go! Go, go Go, go!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall also slides down an opening in the floor and into an elevator. On the ground, he gets into his jet.

MARSHALL: Marshall, ready for take-off!

[Engine whirring]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall flies into the air. Chase’s helicopter flies up and away.

SINGERS: Marshall! Go, go, go! Go, go, go, go! Go, go, go, go! Go, go!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall and Chase fly towards the balloons.

RYDER: Control Tower to Air Rescue Pups. Any sign of those balloons?

CHASE: I've got the red balloon and Farmer Yumi in my flight path, Ryder.

MARSHALL: Ooh! And I think I see the Turbots' yellow balloon, way up there!

DESCRIPTION: In the sky, Francois and Cap’n Turbot argue.

FRANCOIS: Whoa!

CAP’N TURBOT: I told you we needed to take our time tying those ropes together!

FRANCOIS: Excuse-moi! As an acrobat, I prefer to balance on ropes, not tie them!

RYDER: That's Cap'n Turbot and Francois, all right. Okay, you know what to do!

CHASE: Move in!

MARSHALL: And fly high!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall and Chase fly away.

[Barking and howling]

FARMER YUMI: I spy with my little eye… no way to get down from here!

DESCRIPTION: Farmer Yumi’s truck hits a large soda drink sculpture on top of a restaurant. The statue wobbles over the top of a crowd. A pitchfork and a haybale fly out of Farmer Yumi’s truck.

FARMER YUMI: Oh, peach fuzz! Look out! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

[Chase barking]

CHASE: Net Launcher!

DESCRIPTION: Chase launches a net out of his helicopter just in time to catch the soda sculpture.

CUSTOMER: Whoa! He did it! Way to go!

CHASE: Now, to get the rest!

DESCRIPTION: Chase uses the soda sculpture to bat away the pitchfork and haybale. Farmer Yumi floats away.

[Farmer Yumi’s horn honking]

DESCRIPTION: Over by the bell tower, Mayor Goodway and her pet chicken are shining the bell.

[Clucking]

MAYOR GOODWAY: Don't stop now, Chickums. We've got to polish this bell until we can see our reflections. Is that a… flying truck?!

[Horn honking]

[Horn blaring]

CHASE: Hold on, Farmer Yumi!

DESCRIPTION: Chase uses his helicopter blades to cut the rope that holds the truck to the balloon. Farmer Yumi falls from the sky.

[Yelping]

[Barking]

CHASE: Net!

DESCRIPTION: Chase launches a trampoline net out of his helicopter. It lands on the ground and catches Farmer Yumi.

[Screaming]

FARMER YUMI: Oh! What a ride. Thanks, Chase! You're welcome!

MAYOR GOODWAY: Yoo-hoo! Chase! Could you… do something about this balloon?

DESCRIPTION: The balloon is caught on the bell tower.

[Chuckling]

MAYOR GOODWAY: I don't think it belongs here.

[Chicken clucking]

DESCRIPTION: Back in the sky, Marshall flies towards the Turbot’s balloon.

MARSHALL: Marshall to Control Tower. I'm closing in on the sky-high cousins!

RYDER: All right, Marshall. Just be careful. All three of you are very high up.

MARSHALL: Roger that!

[Francois straining]

FRANCOIS: Whoa!

CAP’N TURBOT: I keep cautioning you, cousin. You can't climb and carry that cumbersome cudgel! Release the rod already!

FRANCOIS: Cudgel?! Rod?! For zee last time, it is a balancing pole. And it goes wherever I go.

DESCRIPTION: Francois lets go of the rope to point at himself. He starts to fall, but hangs on to the very end of the rope.

FRANCOIS: Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall flies up to Francois.

MARSHALL: Anybody need a lift?

[Barking]

MARSHALL: Ladder! Okay, Francois! Climb on!

[Francois straining]

FRANCOIS: Non! Non! It is too far! I cannot reach!

CAP’N TURBOT: You can do it, Francois. You're an acrobat! An amazing, adventurous, and at times, aggravating acrobat!

FRANCOIS: Ca, alors! He's right! I am an acrobat!

[Straining]

DESCRIPTION: Francois uses his momentum to flip off the rope and land on the ladder. He lands on one foot, still holding his balancing pole. Marshall flies over the balloon.

FRANCOIS: A-ha! Ta-da!

DESCRIPTION: Francois spins his balancing pole, but drops it! In slow motion, the pole lands on the balloon and rips a hole through it.

[Slow motion:] Oops!

[Air squeaking]

CAP'N TURBOT: Aah!

FRANCOIS: You know, maybe he was right about that balancing pole. Hmm. Whoa!

MARSHALL: Ryder, come in! I've got Francois, but Cap'n Turbot is falling fast!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder watches them over a video.

RYDER: If you dive too fast, Francois might not be able to hold on.

FRANCOIS: But if we do not catch him, who will?

DESCRIPTION: Suddenly, Skye flies in her pink jet beside Marshall.

SKYE: This puppy's gotta fly!

[Marshall gasping]

MARSHALL: Skye!

SKYE: Switching to Rescue Mode!

DESCRIPTION: Skye’s wheels tuck in. Her jet’s fin shortens and her wings change shape.

[Whirring]

[Whirring]

SKYE: Wahoo!

DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot plummets through the sky.

CAP’N TURBOT: Aah!

SKYE: It's now or never!

[Barking]

SKYE: Claw!

DESCRIPTION: A claw deploys from Skye’s jet and catches the balloon’s basket. Cap’n Turbot covers his eyes.

CAP’N TURBOT: Huh?

MARSHALL: All right!

FRANCOIS: That was one amazing save!

CAP’N TURBOT: Correction, cousin– that was two amazing saves.

DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls Francois’ balancing pole from the balloon basket.

[Gasping]

FRANCOIS: My stick! I mean, my balancing pole!

[Skye giggling]

SKYE: Skye to control tower. We're coming in!

DESCRIPTION: Skye and Marshall fly back to the Lookout Tower. Later, Marshall holds Francois’s balancing pole in his mouth; he attempts to walk in a straight line over a rope on the ground.

MARSHALL: Whoa.

FEANCOIS: That's it. Good. Keep your balance.

MARSHALL: Whoa. Whoa. Wah! Phew.

DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot stands with Ryder and the rest of the Paw Patrol.

CAP’N TURBOT: Thanks for that rousing rescue, Ryder.

RYDER: You're welcome. Whenever your sky-high stunt goes wrong, just yelp for help.

FRANCOIS: Aww, that is very kind to say. But I think my stunts will go just fine from now on. Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Francois trips over another suitcase.

FRANCOIS: Yah!

[Crashing]

[Chuckling nervously]

FRANCOIS: See?

MARSHALL: Perfectly balanced!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall holds the balancing pole in his mouth as he stands on top of Francois, who stands on Cap’n Turbot.

[Sighing]

[All laughing]
