DESCRIPTION: At night, at Forest Camp, Odo’s Dad is talking to Martin, Doodle, and Odo in front of a tent. Doodle is holding a lamp. Odo’s family home is a treehouse behind them.

[Odo and Doodle giggling]

ODO’S DAD: Okay, campers, Let's check you have everything you need for the sleepover. Tent?

ODO & DOODLE: Yep.

ODO’S DAD: Lanturn?

DESCRIPTION: Doodle holds up her lantern, where a firefly is inside.

DOODLE: Lights on, Eileen.

DESCRIPTION: The firefly, Eileen, lights up, illuminating the area.

[Chimes]

ALL: Whoa!

ODO’S DAD: Sleeping bags?

DESCRIPTION: Martin, Doodle, and Odo all look at each other before laughing.

[All laughing]

[Odo’s Dad chuckles]

ODO’S DAD: What's so funny?

ODO: Well, we don't plan on sleeping much tonight.

DOODLE: I think that's why they call it a sleepover. Because sleep is over.

[Odo’s Dad chuckles]

DESCRIPTION: Odo pushes his Dad away, back towards their house.

ODO: We'll be fine.

DESCRIPTION: Odo, Martin, and Doodle walk into the tent with their lantern.

[All giggle]

ODO: Now, don't be nervous about being outside, Martin. Owls are nighttime experts.

MARTIN: Really, I'm fine.

DOODLE: And, it's a little-known fact that I'm a nighttime expert, too. There's nothing out here that can scare me.

DESCRIPTION: Suddenly, a shadow flies by the tent. Doodle’s eyes widen, and she hides behind Martin.

[All gasp]

DOODLE: Eek!

[Whimpers]

DESCRIPTION: The three friends stick their heads out of the tent. The shadow flies by again.

DOODLE: Eek!

DESCRIPTION: Looking into the sky, Doodle, Martin, and Odo watch as a shining blue moth flies around in the sky.

ODO: Wow.

[All gasp]

[Delicate music]

MARTIN: Hmm?

ODO: What is it?

DOODLE: Is it a butterfly? It's very pretty.

DESCRIPTION: Odo’s Dad walks up behind Odo. He is reading from a book.

ODO’S DAD: It's not a butterfly. It's a moth.

[Odo giggles]

ODO: Dad, I thought I said we don't need any help tonight.

ODO’S DAD: Huh?

DESCRIPTION: Odo pushes his Dad back towards their house

ODO’S DAD: Oof!

ODO: We just need to figure out what our new moth friend wants.

MARTIN: Maybe it's hungry.

ODO: But if moths are like butterflies, and butterflies like the nectar from flowers, we just need to find it a flower.

[Doodle gulps]

DESCRIPTION: Doodle looks towards the dark woods.

DOODLE: You mean, up there? In the dark?

ODO: Just keep Eileen glowing, and you'll be fine. Let's go!

DESCRIPTION: Martin, Odo, and Doodle walk into the woods. Eileen is shining brightly, and the moth flies around the lantern. Odo’s Dad watches them go.

[Grunting]

ODO’S DAD: Huh?

ODO: Is our new friend still with us, Doodle?

DOODLE: Yep, and I think we're really starting to understand each other Mothie, sit. Sit.

DESCRIPTION: The moth continues to fly around the lantern. Behind the group, Odo’s Dad watches them from behind a tree.

[Doodle sighs]

DOODLE: Do you think we'll ever understand what it wants?

MARTIN: I know we can!

ALL: Yes:

ODO: Come on!

DESCRIPTION: As the friends run through the woods, Odo’s Dad hides behind trees and in bushes and watches them.

[Odo’s Dad grunts]

[Children panting]

DESCRIPTION: Odo picks up a leaf and offers it to the moth. The moth continues flying and does not interact with Odo’s leaf.

ODO: Umm...

[Grunting]

DESCRIPTION: Later, Martin tries tossing a pinecone to the moth.

MARTIN: You're small. Whoa.

DESCRIPTION: The pinecone falls to the ground, and the moth does not play with it.

MARTIN: Not your sport, huh?

ODO’S DAD: Oof.

DESCRIPTION: At the playground, Odo and Martin slide down the wooden slide.

ODO: Whee!

MARTIN: Yeah!

ODO: Maybe the slide's more your thing.

DESCRIPTION: Doodle, almost dropping the lantern, slides down the slide. The moth flies down to Doodle, but does not touch the slide.

DOODLE: Huh? What? Oh! Or, maybe not. Oh.

DESCRIPTION: Doodle picks up a stick.

DOODLE: Knobbly stick. Yes, I knew it. Who doesn't love a good knobbly stick? Ha! Huh?

ODO: Maybe it wants to play fetch. Worth a try.

DOODLE: Okay, Mothie, fetch.

DESCRIPTION: Doodle tosses the stick, but the moth, Mothie, does not chase it. Mothie continues to fly around the lantern.

DOODLE: Oof. Okay, you just wanna hang out with me, huh? No problem.

DESCRIPTION: From behind a bush, Reggie the fox carries the knobbly stick over to the group.

REGGIE [THUDS]: Ouch.

REGGIE [YAWNS]: Hi, guys. Oh. I didn't know birds were into playing fetch at night. Or playing fetch, full stop, come to think of it.

ODO: We're not.

DESCRIPTION: Mothie flies around Doodle’s face.

[Doodle giggles]

ODO: And neither is our new friend.

DESCRIPTION: Reggie sees Mothie, and his eyes widen.
[Reggie gasps]

REGGIE: I'll save you, Doodle.

DESCRIPTION: Reggie picks up Doodle and her lantern and runs away from Mothie.

DOODLE: Whoa!

ODO: Whoa, there, Reggie.

MARTIN: Now, this is what I call a sleepover.

[Odo chuckles]

DESCRIPTION: Reggie continues to run away from Mothie.

[Reggie panting]

DOODLE: Whoa! Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: In some nearby trees, the chickens are asleep in pink sleeping bags.

THE FIRST CHICKEN: Psst, Joe. Are you asleep?

[Joe gasps awake]

JOE: Well, I'm not asleep now, am I?

THE THIRD CHICKEN: It's a sleepover. You're not supposed to sleep, anyway.

DESCRIPTION: Reggie, Doodle, Martin, and Odo run through the trees. They knock all of the chickens to the ground.

[Reggie panting and wailing]

REGGIE: Why's it so fast?

ODO: Coming through, sorry!

THE FIRST CHICKEN: What was that?

REGGIE: Why is it following us?

DESCRIPTION: Reggie runs by two swans sleeping on a log. He accidentally pushes them into the pond.

THE FIRST SWAN: Whoa! I told you, a sleepover on a log was asking for trouble.

DESCRIPTION: Martin and Odo run over the log in pursuit of Reggie and Doodle.

ODO: Oof! Morning! I mean, evening! Sorry for the noise!

DESCRIPTION: Odo’s Dad chases after the group. He is covered in leaves and dirt.

[Odo’s Dad panting]

DESCRIPTION: Reggie runs all the way back towards Odo’s family home and their tent. Reggie runs into the tent and sticks his head out.

REGGIE: Eww! Shoo, shoo.

DOODLE: It's just a moth, Reggie.

DESCRIPTION: Reggie comes out of the tent and scratches his head. Odo and Martin run up to them.

[Odo sighs and pants]

MARTIN: And we're safely home, now.No harm done.

ODO: Um, I don't know about that, Martin.

DESCRIPTION: The chickens and the swans approach the tent. They are holding lanterns filled with glowing mushrooms, and their brows are furrowed.

[Grumbling indistinctly]

ODO: Uh-oh. Sorry for waking you all up from your sleepovers. But as you can see, we've been trying to talk to our new moth friend.

REGGIE: But it only seems interested in you, Doodle.

DOODLE: It's a little-known fact that moths just love me.

DESCRIPTION: Just then, Mothie flies away from Doodle and towards the other birds’ lanterns.

DOODLE: Huh?

THE FIRST SWAN: That's because--

[Laughing]

ODO: Wait a second. Turn off your lamps.

DOODLE: Lights off, Eileen.

ODO: I think it's what our new friend has been trying to tell us.

DESCRIPTION: When all of the lights are turned off and covered, Mothie flies away from the group, towards the bright moon.

[Gasps]

ALL: Whoa. Wow.

[Gentle music]

ODO: I think all of our lamps were making it confused. Is that right, Moth?

DESCRIPTION: Suddenly, Odo’s Dad pops out of a bush. He is reading from his book.

ODO’S DAD: That's exactly right, Odo.

[All gasp]

ODO: Dad? Leaving too many lights on at night isn't good for moths. Fun moth fact, they use the light from the moon to find their way.

ODO: That's why it kept flying around our lamp. And so, Eileen was the moon.

DESCRIPTION: Later that night, Odo, Doodle, and Martin sit with Odo’s Dad.

[Kids yawn]

MARTIN: These woods are so cool. If you change one tiny thing, like putting a lamp on, it changes something else. Like attracting the moths.

[Doodle yawns]

DOODLE: Yeah, and waking everyone else up.

ODO’S DAD: Well, would you look at that. You made it all the way through the night.

MARTIN: Yay!

[Odo’s Dad chuckles]

ODO: I love sleepovers.

[Odo yawns]
