[Upbeat music]
[Opening sequence]
DESCRIPTION: At Forest Camp, a vibrant leafy playground for young birds, Odo the owl plays with his friends.
ODO SINGS: Here I come.
DESCRIPTION: Odo looks behind a bush, finding Doodle, a small blue bird.
DOODLE SINGS: Odo
DESCRIPTION: Doodle and Odo run through the woods, passing by three chickens.
CHICKENS SING: Odo
DESCRIPTION: Odo runs by Leonardo, a turquoise-and-orange peacock. Odo also passes by two blue hummingbirds, a brown bird, and two small, yellow birds.
BIRDS SING: Odo, Odo
DESCRIPTION: Odo hops into a mud puddle with toucan twins, Louie and Bud.
LOUIE AND BUD SING: Odo
DESCRIPTION: Four pink flamingos pop their heads out of a log.
FLAMINGOS SING: Odo
DESCRIPTION: All of the birds gather together in the woods.
BIRDS SING: Odo
[CHIMES]

[Opening sequence ends]
DESCRIPTION: At night, at the Forest Camp, Odo and Doodle are walking through the woods.
DOODLE: Come on, Odo! Your mom made berry pie.
[Doodle slurps]
DOODLE: I can taste it already.
DESCRIPTION: Odo jumps off a hill and flaps his wings.
ODO: Just one more try… to fly!
[Yelling nervously]
[Gasps and grunts]
DESCRIPTION: Odo falls to the ground.
[Both laugh]
DOODLE: Or fall.
ODO: Falls are fun too.
DESCRIPTION: Odo gets up and gets back to the top of the hill. Suddenly, a shadow appears above Odo.
[Chuckles, grunts]
[Wings flapping]
[Gasps]
ODO: Huh? Uh-oh!
DESCRIPTION: Odo takes Doodle and hides behind a bush. A bat is flying around the sky!
ODO: Doodle, look out!
DOODLE: Boo!
ODO: S-s-scary. Stay super still.
BAT: Hey, where'd everybody go?
DOODLE: Uh, Odo--
ODO: Shh!
DOODLE: It's okay, Odo. It's just--
ODO: N-no, Doodle.
DOODLE: But--
ODO: Ah!
DOODLE: But--
ODO: Ah-ah!
[Odo gasps]
ODO: Doodle, we're trying to hide from--
DOODLE: Boo!
[Odo screams]
ODO: Don't you start that too!
DESCRIPTION: Doodle runs out from behind the bush.
ODO: Doodle, no!
DESCRIPTION: The bat, Boo, greets Doodle.
BOO: Doodle! Doodle, I thought I heard you.
[Boo giggles]
DOODLE: Well, you have got bat ears.
[Doodle giggles]
ODO: Huh?
DESCRIPTION: Odo comes out from behind the bush.
DOODLE: Boo wasn't trying to scare us.
BOO: Boo is just my name.
DOODLE: My mom knows Boo from her bat, bird and badger barn dance band.
ODO: Wait, what?
BOO: Wah! Aah! What, what?! Aah!
DESCRIPTION: Boo hides behind Doodle.
[Groans]
BOO: Not an-- Not an owl!
ODO: And what's wrong with owls?
BOO: Well, you eat bats, for one.
ODO: Do not! Ech!
BOO: Excuse me! I bet we're yummy!
ODO: Bet you're not!
BOO: Doodle, he's being mean about bats! Make him stop.
ODO: Quit hiding behind my friend!
BOO: She's my friend!
ODO: Excuse me?
DOODLE: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Time-out! Relax. Odo won't eat you. And Boo's really such a sweetie. You should see her fly. Go on, Boo. Show Odo.
[Chuckles]
BOO: You don't have to ask me twice!
DESCRIPTION: Boo flies into the air and spins around. Two mice come out of the bushes and watch Boo soar through the air.
BOO: Ha, whee! Whoa! Whee!
[Boo giggles]
ODO: Wow.
[Grunting]
[Boo exclaiming]
BOTH: Wow!
MOUSE: If only we could fly like that, eh? I wish we could fly full stop.
[Boo exclaiming]
DESCRIPTION: The second mouse, Michael, shrugs. The first mouse, Ger, looks up at Boo.
MICHAEL: Oh, to be a bird and not a mammal.
GER: Bats are not birds, Michael. They're mammals like us...
[Exclaims, chuckles]
GER: ...but they can fly. Lots better than–
DESCRIPTION: Michael puts a paw over Ger’s mouth.
MICHAEL: Don't say it, Ger. Just enjoy the show.
DESCRIPTION: Doodle, Michael, and Ger admire Boo flying in the sky. Odo glares at them.
MICHAEL: Wonderful!
[Ger exclaims]
MICHAEL: Smashing. Oh!
[Boo grunts, exclaiming]
DOODLE: Wow! Amazing!
BOTH: Poetry in motion.
ODO: More like a show-off, if you ask me.
BOO: Yay!
DESCRIPTION: Boo lands on the ground. The mice and Doodle crowd around Boo.
MICHAEL: Awesome! Even I'm impressed!
DOODLE: Show me how to do what you do!
GER: Terrific.
[Doodle giggling]
DOODLE: Loved it!
DESCRIPTION: Odo frowns, then furrows his brow and storms off.
[Odo grumbles]
ODO: Huh.
ODO [SARCASTIC]: "Even I'm impressed." "Show me how to do what you do."
[Groans angrily]
DESCRIPTION: Odo walks up to a steep hillside.
ODO: Well, I'll show Boo! I'll show Doodle. I'll... I'll show all of them! I can be just as good. I'll practice and practice and practice until...
ODO [ECHOES]: I'm the best flyer ever! Whoo! I'll win my friend back!
DESCRIPTION: Odo jumps off the hillside, flies momentarily, then falls into a bush on the ground.
ODO: Uh-oh! Uh... ouch! Okay, okay. I've got a lot of catching up to do… and fast!
DESCRIPTION: In a montage, Odo jumps off tree branches and hops onto logs.
ODO: Whoa! Oof! Wha... Oof!
[Odo grunts and pants]
ODO: ... Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: In the woods, Odo leaps from a tall tree, but falls to the ground.
[THUDS]
DESCRIPTION: Odo holds his leg and rocks back and forth.
ODO: Ouch! Oh… No! Ouch, ouch!
[Gasps]
DESCRIPTION: Odo looks around at the dark forest.
ODO: Where… Where am I? I'm... I'm lost! Oh! Hello? Help! Hello? Anybody?
[Whimpers]
[Gulps]
DESCRIPTION: Odo limps over to a tree to hold onto.
ODO: I guess I'm too far away for anybody to hear me.
[Whimpers]
ODO: Oh, tree, it's just you and me now.
[Shivers]
ODO: I'm cold.
[Stomach rumbling]
ODO: And now I'm... hungry too. Ohh…
DESCRIPTION: The sky flashes with lightning. A shadow appears above Odo’s head.
[Thunder cracks]
ODO: Aah! Please, no! I'm only little.
DESCRIPTION: The shadow reveals Boo.
BOO: Odo? Are you okay?
ODO: Boo! But how?
BOO: Oh, thanks to my bat ears, I was the only one able to hear you calling from so far away.
ODO: Oh, Boo--! Ow! Oh!
DESCRIPTION: Odo goes to hug Boo, but frowns and holds his leg.
[Odo sniffling]
BOO: Ah, but you're hurt. Ah, don't worry. I'll get you home safely.
[Odo inhales deeply]
ODO: You will?
BOO: Count on it! Everyone was so worried about you.
ODO: They were? Who? Mm, everyone! But especially Doodle.
DESCRIPTION: Boo picks up Odo and flies back to camp.
ODO: Wow! Was I ever wrong about you. Boo, I'm so sorry.
BOO: Me too, Odo. Me too.
[Giggles]
ODO: Whoo!
[Both laughing]
DESCRIPTION: Michael, Ger, and Doodle watch the sky. They cheer.
ALL: Whoo! Odo and Boo! Odo and Boo! Yay!
[Odo and Boo laughing]
DESCRIPTION: Doodle and Odo hug. Then, Doodle, Odo, and Boo hug all together.
DOODLE: Oh, Odo!
ODO: Oh, Doodle!
BOTH: Oh, Boo!
[All laughing]
DESCRIPTION: Odo’s mom approaches the group.
ODO’S MOM: Oh, there you are! I was worried about you, Odo.
ODO: No need.
DESCRIPTION: Odo’s mother turns to Boo.
ODO’S MOM: Well, hello. Who's this?
[Boo giggles nervously]
ODO: Boo!
[Odo’s mom gasps]
ODO: Our new best friend!
[All laughing]

ODO: Doodle, look out!
DOODLE: Boo!
ODO: S-s-scary. Stay super still.
BAT: Hey, where'd everybody go?
DOODLE: Uh, Odo--
ODO: Shh!

DOODLE: But--
ODO: Ah!

[Odo gasps]
