BAT: Hey, where'd everybody go?

DOODLE: Uh, Odo--

ODO: Shh!

DOODLE: It's okay, Odo. It's just--

ODO: N-no, Doodle.

DOODLE: But--

ODO: Ah!

DOODLE: But--

DOODLE: Boo wasn't trying to scare us.

ODO: Wait, what?

BOO: Wah! Aah! What, what?! Aah!

DESCRIPTION: Boo hides behind Doodle.

[Groans]

BOO: Not an-- Not an owl!

ODO: And what's wrong with owls?

BOO: Well, you eat bats, for one.

ODO: Do not! Ech!

BOO: Excuse me! I bet we're yummy!

ODO: Bet you're not!

BOO: Doodle, he's being mean about bats! Make him stop.

ODO: Quit hiding behind my friend!

BOO: She's my friend!

ODO: Excuse me?

DOODLE: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Time-out! Relax. Odo won't eat you. And Boo's really such a sweetie. You should see her fly. Go on, Boo. Show Odo.

[Chuckles]

BOO: You don't have to ask me twice!

DESCRIPTION: Boo flies into the air and spins around. Two mice come out of the bushes and watch Boo soar through the air.

BOO: Ha, whee! Whoa! Whee!

ODO: Wow.

[Grunting]

[Boo exclaiming]

BOTH: Wow!

MOUSE: If only we could fly like that, eh? I wish we could fly full stop.

[Boo exclaiming]

DESCRIPTION: The second mouse, Michael, shrugs. The first mouse, Ger, looks up at Boo.

MICHAEL: Oh, to be a bird and not a mammal.

GER: Bats are not birds, Michael. They're mammals like us...

[Exclaims, chuckles]

GER: ...but they can fly. Lots better than–

DESCRIPTION: Michael puts a paw over Ger’s mouth.

MICHAEL: Don't say it, Ger. Just enjoy the show.

DOODLE: Wow! Amazing!

ODO: More like a show-off, if you ask me.

BOO: Yay!

DESCRIPTION: Boo lands on the ground. The mice and Doodle crowd around Boo.

MICHAEL: Awesome! Even I'm impressed!

DOODLE: Show me how to do what you do!

GER: Terrific.

[Doodle giggling]

DOODLE: Loved it!

[Odo grumbles]

ODO: Huh.

ODO [SARCASTIC]: "Even I'm impressed." "Show me how to do what you do."

[Groans angrily]

DESCRIPTION: Odo walks up to a steep hillside.

ODO: Well, I'll show Boo! I'll show Doodle. I'll... I'll show all of them! I can be just as good. I'll practice and practice and practice until...

ODO [ECHOES]: I'm the best flyer ever! Whoo! I'll win my friend back!

[Whimpers]

[Gulps]

DESCRIPTION: Odo limps over to a tree to hold onto.

ODO: I guess I'm too far away for anybody to hear me.

[Whimpers]

[Shivers]

ODO: I'm cold.

[Stomach rumbling]

ODO: And now I'm... hungry too. Ohh…

DESCRIPTION: The sky flashes with lightning. A shadow appears above Odo’s head.

[Thunder cracks]

ODO: Aah! Please, no! I'm only little.

DESCRIPTION: The shadow reveals Boo.

BOO: Odo? Are you okay?

ODO: Boo! But how?

BOO: Oh, thanks to my bat ears, I was the only one able to hear you calling from so far away.

ODO: Oh, Boo--! Ow! Oh!

DESCRIPTION: Odo goes to hug Boo, but frowns and holds his leg.

[Odo sniffling]

BOO: Ah, but you're hurt. Ah, don't worry. I'll get you home safely.

[Odo inhales deeply]

ODO: You will?

BOO: Count on it! Everyone was so worried about you.

ODO: They were? Who? Mm, everyone! But especially Doodle.

DESCRIPTION: Boo picks up Odo and flies back to camp.

ODO: Wow! Was I ever wrong about you. Boo, I'm so sorry.
