[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, the Paw Patrol pups run into the Lookout tower. In the observation deck, Ryder taps his pup pad, and a large screen lowers from the ceiling.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. Whenever there's a problem 'round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups will come and save the day. Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, yeah, they're on the way.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall, a Dalmatian, Rubble, a Bulldog, Chase, a German Shepherd, Rocky, a grey and white mixed breed pup, Zuma, a chocolate Labrador, and Skye, a Cockapoo, ride down a slide wrapped around the tower to their vehicles. In the garage, Ryder jumps on his A.T.V.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, whenever you're in trouble, Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. No job's too big, no pup's too small, Paw Patrol, we're on a roll. So here we go, Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Lookout, Ryder throws treats to each of the pups. The pups gather around Ryder.

DESCRIPTION: In the ocean, seagulls fly over Cap’n Turbot’s boat, the Flounder. On the boat, Cap’n Turbot shows Francois a book. A crane holds a diving bell, a submarine-like vessel, over the water.
[Seagulls squawking]
CAP’N TURBOT: See this special specimen? Scientists say it's the Puppyfishius Adventurus Bayus.
DESCRIPTION: A picture shows an orange fish with a puppy-like face and puppy ear-like dorsal fins.
FRANCOIS: Well, I say it is a fish. This coy critter is really rare. But I'm going to set up my camera underwater and capture a close-up!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot puts away the book and pulls out a camera. Francois takes the camera and walks over to the diving bell.
FRANCOIS: But I am ze most excellent taker of ze pictures.
CAP’N TURBOT: Then you should have your own camera.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot and Francois wrestle with the camera.
FRANCOIS: But of course. My own camera!
DESCRIPTION: Francois lets go of the camera, and Cap’n Turbot stumbles back.
CAP’N TURBOT: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot falls off the boat and into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: In the water, Cap’n Turbot holds his camera in the air. Francois leans against the edge of the boat.
CAP’N TURBOT: It's okay! I'm a sensational swimmer!
FRANCOIS: But not as sensational as moi!
DESCRIPTION: At the beach, Ryder and the pups, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma and Skye, stand at the end of the pier and watch a pod of whales in the water.
RYDER: I love whale-watching.
SKYE: They look like they're dancing!
DESCRIPTION: One whale dives across the water. Another rolls around. The youngest flicks its tail.
RUBBLE: Chase, give them some deep-sea beats. Some old-school flip-hop!
ZUMA: Yeah, dude. Didn't you just upgrade your megaphone to stream music?
CHASE: I sure did!
[Chase barking]
CHASE: Megaphone!
DESCRIPTION: Chase’s megaphone unfolds out of his pup pack.
[Upbeat pop music playing]
DESCRIPTION: One of the whales leaps out of the water. It dives back into the water and sprays Rocky.
[Rocky gasping]
ROCKY: Aah. Yuck! Wet!
RUBBLE: I know you don't like getting wet, but it might be relaxing if you just breathe and count to four.
[Rocky inhaling deeply]
ROCKY: One, two, three…
DESCRIPTION: A whale leaps out of the water.
ROCKY: Four!
DESCRIPTION: The whale drops onto the water and splashes Rocky.
ROCKY: What a silly whale.
[Rocky laughing]
SKYE: You know what else is silly? That!
DESCRIPTION: Skye points toward the beach. Marshall and Rubble follow her gaze. Trash lies scattered across the sand.
SKYE: We cleaned the beach just a little while ago.
RYDER: Let's hop to it!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs down the pier with the pups. On the beach, Ryder and the pups start picking up the trash.
RYDER: We don't want this trash ending up in the ocean.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder drops a paper cup in a recycling bin with a grabber claw. Rocky picks up an empty can with his pup pack grabber.
RYDER: The beach would stay much cleaner if people used reusable containers.
CHASE: And threw out their trash.
RUBBLE: Totally. All you have to do is chuck it in for the win.
DESCRIPTION: Rubble tosses a plastic water bottle into a recycling bin with his pup pack excavator scoop.
[Rubble giggling]
RYDER: Yeah!
[Chase howling]
DESCRIPTION: In the ocean, Cap’n Turbot stands at the helm of the Flounder.
[Seagulls squawking]
CAP’N TURBOT: Here, fishy-fishy.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot searches the water with an underwater camera attached to the front of the Flounder. He checks a monitor with the camera view and watches the diving bell. In the diving bell, Francois searches the bottom of the ocean. He looks through a window with a camera aimed at the water.
FRANCOIS: Come out, come out, wherever you are. Ah! Ze pup fish!
DESCRIPTION: Francois spots a Puppyfishius Adventurus Bayus, a pup fish.
FRANCOIS: Say "cheese."
DESCRIPTION: Francois takes a picture as a jellyfish swims by and blocks the pup fish.
[Camera shutter clicking]
DESCRIPTION: The pup fish swims away.
FRANCOIS: Huh. I have been photo-bombed by that jellyfish! It came out of nowhere.
DESCRIPTION: On the Flounder, the pup fish appears on the monitor. In the diving bell, Francois spots the pup fish.
FRANCOIS: Yes! Ze fish is back! Smile!
CAP'N TURBOT THROUGH A RADIO: That perfect picture is going to be mine. Look over here, fishy!
DESCRIPTION: The Flounder stops next to the pup fish.
FRANCOIS: No, no. Look over here.
DESCRIPTION: The pup fish swims away as Francois and Cap’n Turbot both take pictures. The flashes on their cameras shine brightly in the water.
[Camera shutters clicking]
[Cap’n Turbot yelping]
CAP’N TURBOT: I can't see!
FRANCOIS: I can't see more!
DESCRIPTION: Francois spots a container ship passing by.
FRANCOIS: Mais non. Mais non!
[Ship horn blaring]
DESCRIPTION: On the Flounder, Cap’n Turbot spots the ship.
[Cap’n Turbot gasping]
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot swerves away from the ship and narrowly avoids a collision. Underwater, the diving bell hits the ship.
[Metal clanking]
[Francois grunting]
DESCRIPTION: The diving bell swerves toward the bottom of the ocean and lands wedged between two boulders.
[Metal clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Francois falls.
[Francois grunting]
DESCRIPTION: On the container ship, the ship captain looks down at the water below.
SHIP CAPTAIN: Yikes! If we get any closer, we'll crush that diving bell!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot cruises up to the container ship.
CAP’N TURBOT: I'll call the Paw Patrol.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls out his phone and makes a call. On the beach, Marshall stands next to Zuma. He tosses another paper cup into an overflowing recycling bin and looks at Ryder.
MARSHALL: That's it. No more garbage.
ZUMA: Good, because the last thing those whales need is junk food.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall and Zuma watch the whale pod splash around in the water.
[Pup pad ringing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder answers a video call from Cap’n Turbot.
RYDER: Cap'n Turbot, is everything okay?
CAP’N TURBOT: Not really, Ryder. My cousin and I were sea-horsing around, and he crashed his diving bell. Now it's perilously pinned.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot shows Ryder the diving bell pinned between the boulders under the container ship.
RYDER: Oh, no! We're on our way. No diving bell is too stuck. No pup is too small!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad. Skye, Rubble and Marshall’s pup tags light up.
RYDER: Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!
SKYE, RUBBLE AND MARSHALL: Ryder needs us!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Skye, Rubble and Marshall take off running. Marshall slips on a pile of seaweed, and a piece of seaweed slips onto his eyes.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Lookout, the other Paw Patrol pups run inside.
[Pups barking]
DESCRIPTION: The pups gather inside the Lookout elevator.
ROCKY: Marshall, look out!
DESCRIPTION: Marshall runs into the Lookout. He trips on a toy bone and stumbles toward the elevator.
[Toy bone squeaking]
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Crashing]
PUPS GRUNTING: Oof!
DESCRIPTION: In the elevator, Marshall lies on top of the other pups with the piece of seaweed on his head.
MARSHALL: I guess I didn't “see” the seaweed.
[Pups giggling]
DESCRIPTION: The elevator doors close, and the pups ride up the tower. Behind the Paw Patrol pawprint badge, the elevator pauses. A bright light flashes across the badge, and the pups continue up the tower in their Paw Patrol uniforms. A red light pulses around the observation deck. At the top of the tower, the pups run out of the elevator and line up side-by-side.
[Elevator ding]
CHASE: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad, and a large screen lowers from the ceiling.
RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups. Francois's diving bell crashed into a ship, and now he's stuck!
DESCRIPTION: The large screen shows Francois in the diving bell between two boulders next to the container ship.
FRANCOIS: Whoa!
RYDER: A ship that big can't back up very easily.
SKYE: Oh. Poor Francois!
RYDER: We'll save him. So, for this mission, I'll need Skye. I'll need you to use your hook to pull the diving bell out from where it's trapped.
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Let's take to the sky!
DESCRIPTION: Skye does a back flip.
RYDER: And Zuma. I'll need you to use your submarine to give that bell a push.
ZUMA: Let's dive in!
RYDER: All right! Paw Patrol is on a roll!
[Pups barking and howling]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs across the observation deck and swings down the Lookout firepole.
[Intense, upbeat music plays]
[Song] Paw Patrol!
DESCRIPTION: Skye runs toward the Lookout slide.
[Skye barking]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Skye backflips onto the slide.
[Song] Paw Patrol!
[Skye giggling]
[Skye barking]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma runs toward the slide.
[Zuma howling]
ZUMA: Yes!
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma leaps onto the slide.
[Zuma howling]
ZUMA: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: Skye rides the slide around the Lookout. The pup house platform below rotates and lines up Skye’s camper pup house with the end of the slide. Skye jumps off the slide.
[Song] Skye!
DESCRIPTION: The pup house roof opens, and Skye drops into her seat. The pup house transforms into a helicopter. The ramp and awning fold into the copter, and the front upper halves of the camper slide to the back. Wheels lift the pup house. One wheel pops out of the front, and two wheels pop out of the back sides. Helicopter blades pop out of the roof.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol!
DESCRIPTION: Skye flies away, and Zuma’s hovercraft pup house slides into place at the bottom of the slide.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma slips off the end of the slide.
[Song] Zuma!
ZUMA: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The pup house roof opens, and Zuma drops into his seat. The pup house transforms into a speedboat hovercraft. The entryway folds down, and a propeller engine pops out of the back. The cushioned bottom inflates and expands.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma drives away, and the Lookout garage doors open. Ryder jumps on his A.T.V. wearing a red and white helmet with a visor. Ryder drives out of the garage and leads Skye and Zuma down the driveway.
[Engine revving]
[Helicopter whirring]
[Hovercraft propellers whooshing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Zuma speed down a slope leading to the Bay. Skye follows above. Ryder and Zuma ride up a ramp at the end of the slope and soar through the air.
RYDER: Life jacket, deploy!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad. His jacket inflates into a life jacket, and his A.T.V. transforms into a jet ski. The front wheels slide into the engine. Covers above the wheels roll under the wheels and lock into place like snowmobile skis. The back wheels fold back and spin like propellers. A third ski slides out between them, and Ryder drops onto the water. Zuma speeds across the water with Skye above, as the team races into the ocean.
[Helicopter whirring]
DESCRIPTION: Under the container ship, Francois looks out the diving bell window with his phone in hand.
FRANCOIS: I am scared of this trap! Get me out!
DESCRIPTION: On the Flounder, Cap’n Turbot looks up from his phone.
CAP’N TURBOT: Please don't panic. I see the Paw Patrol now!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Zuma and Skye race up to the Flounder.
RYDER: Hey, Cap'n Turbot. How's Francois?
FRANCOIS ON A VIDEO CALL: I am not panicking!
RYDER: Good. Zuma, let's take your sub.
ZUMA: On it, Ryder.
[Zuma barking]
ZUMA: Sub!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma’s hovercraft transforms into a submarine. The propellers lower and submarine stabilizer fins slide out. The bottom of the hovercraft extends and shapes the hovercraft into a submarine. Ryder hops into a seat behind Zuma and a dome slides into place over them. Zuma steers the submarine underwater and down to the diving bell. Through the window, Francois smiles and waves.
ZUMA: No problem, le dude. We're here to help.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad.
RYDER: Skye, drop the hook!
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Hook! I love sky-fishing.
DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers a hook on a cable from her helicopter into the water.
[Splashing]
[Zuma barking]
ZUMA: Claw!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma grabs the cable with a large grabber claw under the submarine. He hooks the cable to the diving bell.
ZUMA: Looks like it's on.
RYDER: Great. On three. You push, and Skye, you pull. One, two, three!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma pushes the diving bell from behind. Skye pulls from above, and the team pulls the diving bell free.
[Scraping]
DESCRIPTION: Francois gives two thumbs-up.
[Francois sighing with relief]
RYDER: Great. Okay, Zuma. Unhook it.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma unhooks the diving bell from Skye’s cable. Francois steers the diving bell away from the container ship, revealing a large hole with garbage spilling out.
ZUMA: Ryder, the diving bell accidentally put a hole in the ship, and there's garbage spilling out!
DESCRIPTION: Plastic garbage floats to the surface of the water.
SHIP CAPTAIN: Ugh. How am I going to get all this stuff to the recycling plant now?
DESCRIPTION: The young whale swims up to garbage floating through the water.
RYDER: Oh, no! We need to get rid of this trash before the whales try to eat it.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder makes a call.
RYDER: Chase, bring your launcher!
DESCRIPTION: On a video call, Chase stands beside Rocky in the Lookout observation deck.
CHASE: On my way, Ryder!
RYDER: Rocky, bring your reuse-it truck
ROCKY: Got it! Actually, I don't get it. My truck isn't built for water.
RYDER: No, but I have an idea. Meet me on the beach. Let's head up, Zuma!
DESCRIPTION: On the surface of the water, Ryder sits on his jet ski beside Zuma’s submarine.
RYDER: Zuma, keep the whales away from the junk until we get back!
ZUMA: Aye-aye, dude.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma sinks back underwater. On the beach, Chase and Rocky drive across the sand. Chase drives his 4 by 4, and Rocky drives his large reuse-it truck.
[Siren wailing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder meets Chase and Rocky and climbs off his jet ski onto the beach. Chase and Rocky jump down from their vehicles.
CHASE: Hey, Ryder. So, what should we do?
RYDER: First, help me empty this trash into the reuse-it truck.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder carries a recycling box of trash over to Rocky’s truck. Rocky and Chase push a second box, and Ryder empties them into a container on the truck.
RYDER: Now, Rocky, upcycle this plastic into a pair of pontoons and a jumbo-sized vacuum hose.
DESCRIPTION: Rocky runs over to a computer on the side of the truck and crushes the trash inside the truck with a compactor.
[Trash clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky screws a pontoon, a hollow metal cylinder, to the side of his truck, next to the wheels. The tip of a vacuum hose sticks out of the reuse-it truck container.
CHASE: Awesome! Your truck has giant boat floaties.
ROCKY: Now, let's go clean up that waste.
RYDER: 'Cause there's no time to waste!
[Rocky and Chase giggling]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky jumps in his truck and drives it onto the water.
[Engine rumbling]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder jumps on his jet ski and starts the engine. Chase jumps on behind Ryder, and they leave the beach. In the ocean, Zuma watches the young whale swim toward a take-out cup.
ZUMA: Oh, no. That's not a snack, whalie!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma grabs the cup with his submarine grabber.
ZUMA: Phew. That was totally too close.
DESCRIPTION: Another whale opens its mouth as a metal can moves through the water.
ZUMA: No! I can't get there in time!
DESCRIPTION: Francois steers the diving bell into the whale’s path, and the whale turns away.
ZUMA: Nice move. Thanks, Francois.
FRANCOIS: No problem! I feel terrible for causing this mess.
CAP’N TURBOT: Me, too. Oh, I feel sick to my stomach.
FRANCOIS: But I am sicker to my stomach.
DESCRIPTION: Elsewhere on the water, Chase stands against Ryder.
RYDER: Okay, Chase. I loaded up your launcher with balls of sealant to fix the hole in the ship.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Chase and Rocky reach the container ship. They cruise through the plastic trash floating on the surface, and slow to a stop near the Flounder.
RYDER: It's leaking trash right about… there!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder points to the hole in the container ship.
CHASE: I see it, Ryder.
[Chase barking]
CHASE: Launcher!
DESCRIPTION: Chase launches slimy green balls of sealant through the water with his pup pack launcher. The sealant sticks to the edges of the hole in the ship, then expands and covers the hole.
RYDER: Perfect aim! The sealant expanded and sealed the hole like glue. Now, Rocky, fire up your vacuum and clean up the trash!
ROCKY: Okay. I'll work top to bottom.
DESCRIPTION: Rocky cruises around the water and vacuums up the trash floating about. Underwater, all three whales of the whale pod swim toward plastic trash floating behind Zuma.
ZUMA: Don’t! No! Plastic is not food. Ryder, the whales are having a snack attack!
RYDER: Snack attack? That's it. Cap'n Turbot, do you have any squid jerky?
DESCRIPTION: The whales rise to the surface of the water.
CAP’N TURBOT: I never leave home without it.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls a jar of squid jerky out of his hat. He tosses the jar to Ryder.
RYDER: Thanks, Cap'n! Chase, launch this far off so we can lure the whales away from here.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pours pieces of squid jerky into Chase’s launcher.
CHASE: All right. Whales, let's play follow the jerky!
DESCRIPTION: Chase launches jerky into the water and away from the trash. The whales swim toward the jerky. Ryder and Chase join Rocky as he vacuums the last pieces of trash.
RYDER: The whales are clear!
ROCKY: Great! Now I can clean the bottom!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky lowers the vacuum into the water and vacuums the underwater trash.
[Vacuum whirring]
DESCRIPTION: Francois continues through the water in the diving bell. He looks around with his camera at the ready.
FRANCOIS: Incroyable! Ze pup fish!
DESCRIPTION: Francois aims his camera at a smiling pup fish. The pup fish slips into a large plastic bottle, and Francois grabs his phone.
FRANCOIS: Zuma, save that bottle!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma pulls the bottle with the pup fish out of Rocky’s path and pulls it to the surface full of water. He hands the bottle to Ryder.
ZUMA: The poor little dude is stuck.
CHASE: Can't you just break the bottle?
RYDER: That might cut the fish. But maybe we could cut the glass.
ZUMA: How do you cut glass?
RYDER: A diamond would work.
DESCRIPTION: Rocky joins the others.
ROCKY: I could make one if I had some oil to compact.
CAP’N TURBOT: I've got some goo! It keeps the Flounder's gears from grinding.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls out an oil can.
ROCKY: Perfect!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pours oil into the compactor on Rocky’s truck. Rocky presses the oil into a diamond on a stick and grabs the stick from the back of the truck.
RYDER: Zuma, hold the bottle so Rocky can cut it!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma takes the bottle from Ryder using his submarine grabber claw. The reuse-it truck pontoon starts to rock and Rocky stumbles.
ROCKY: Whoa! This pontoon is a little wobbly. What if I fall in and get wet?
RYDER: Remember what Rubble said? Just breathe and count to four.
ROCKY: Okay.
[Rocky inhaling deeply]
ROCKY: One, two, three, four. Hey! I feel better, and you will, too, little guy.
DESCRIPTION: The pup fish smiles. Rocky touches the tip of the diamond to the glass bottle. Zuma spins the bottle with his submarine grabber claw, and the diamond cuts through the glass.
[Grinding]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma hands the bottle back to Ryder. Ryder removes the top of the bottle, and the pup fish leaps out, back into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: Underwater, the pupfish swims between the diving bell and the Flounder.
FRANCOIS: Say "fromage."
CAP’N TURBOT THROUGH THE RADIO: Say cheese!
DESCRIPTION: Francois and Cap’n Turbot take pictures of the pup fish, then the pup fish swims away.
[Camera shutters clicking]
DESCRIPTION: On the beach, Cap’n Turbot and Francois meet Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups on the pier.
FRANCOIS: Many mercis for my rescue.
CAP’N TURBOT: And thanks for helping us both finally finagle fine fish photos!
RYDER: Anytime. Whenever you're in deep-sea trouble, just yelp for help!
SKYE: Yeah. But what are we going to do with all the trash we picked up?
RYDER: Easy! I'll upcycle it into reusable water bottles!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky runs over to his truck. He pushes a lever, then meets Ryder at the back of the truck. Rocky and Ryder hand out reusable water bottles. Ryder hands one to a black-haired man. Rocky hands a bottle to a black-haired woman.
BLACK-HAIRED MAN: Hey, thanks.
ROCKY: You're welcome!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Rocky return to the pier. The pup fish leaps across the water.
CAP’N TURBOT: The pup fish!
FRANCOIS: Ze fishy!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot and Francois reach for their cameras and bump into each other.
CAP’N TURBOT: Oop.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot and Francois fall off the dock.
[Cap’n Turbot and Francois yelping]
[Splashing]
[Everyone laughing]

[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, the Paw Patrol pups run into the Lookout tower. In the observation deck, Ryder taps his pup pad, and a large screen lowers from the ceiling.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. Whenever there's a problem 'round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups will come and save the day. Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, yeah, they're on the way.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall, a Dalmatian, Rubble, a Bulldog, Chase, a German Shepherd, Rocky, a grey and white mixed breed pup, Zuma, a chocolate Labrador, and Skye, a Cockapoo, ride down a slide wrapped around the tower to their vehicles. In the garage, Ryder jumps on his A.T.V.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, whenever you're in trouble, Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. No job's too big, no pup's too small, Paw Patrol, we're on a roll. So here we go, Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Lookout, Ryder throws treats to each of the pups. The pups gather around Ryder.

DESCRIPTION: In the ocean, seagulls fly over Cap’n Turbot’s boat, the Flounder. On the boat, Cap’n Turbot shows Francois a book. A crane holds a diving bell, a submarine-like vessel, over the water.
[Seagulls squawking]
CAP’N TURBOT: See this special specimen? Scientists say it's the Puppyfishius Adventurus Bayus.
DESCRIPTION: A picture shows an orange fish with a puppy-like face and puppy ear-like dorsal fins.
FRANCOIS: Well, I say it is a fish. This coy critter is really rare. But I'm going to set up my camera underwater and capture a close-up!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot puts away the book and pulls out a camera. Francois takes the camera and walks over to the diving bell.
FRANCOIS: But I am ze most excellent taker of ze pictures.
CAP’N TURBOT: Then you should have your own camera.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot and Francois wrestle with the camera.
FRANCOIS: But of course. My own camera!
DESCRIPTION: Francois lets go of the camera, and Cap’n Turbot stumbles back.
CAP’N TURBOT: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot falls off the boat and into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: In the water, Cap’n Turbot holds his camera in the air. Francois leans against the edge of the boat.
CAP’N TURBOT: It's okay! I'm a sensational swimmer!
FRANCOIS: But not as sensational as moi!
DESCRIPTION: At the beach, Ryder and the pups, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma and Skye, stand at the end of the pier and watch a pod of whales in the water.
RYDER: I love whale-watching.
SKYE: They look like they're dancing!
DESCRIPTION: One whale dives across the water. Another rolls around. The youngest flicks its tail.
RUBBLE: Chase, give them some deep-sea beats. Some old-school flip-hop!
ZUMA: Yeah, dude. Didn't you just upgrade your megaphone to stream music?
CHASE: I sure did!
[Chase barking]
CHASE: Megaphone!
DESCRIPTION: Chase’s megaphone unfolds out of his pup pack.
[Upbeat pop music playing]
DESCRIPTION: One of the whales leaps out of the water. It dives back into the water and sprays Rocky.
[Rocky gasping]
ROCKY: Aah. Yuck! Wet!
RUBBLE: I know you don't like getting wet, but it might be relaxing if you just breathe and count to four.
[Rocky inhaling deeply]
ROCKY: One, two, three…
DESCRIPTION: A whale leaps out of the water.
ROCKY: Four!
DESCRIPTION: The whale drops onto the water and splashes Rocky.
ROCKY: What a silly whale.
[Rocky laughing]
SKYE: You know what else is silly? That!
DESCRIPTION: Skye points toward the beach. Marshall and Rubble follow her gaze. Trash lies scattered across the sand.
SKYE: We cleaned the beach just a little while ago.
RYDER: Let's hop to it!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs down the pier with the pups. On the beach, Ryder and the pups start picking up the trash.
RYDER: We don't want this trash ending up in the ocean.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder drops a paper cup in a recycling bin with a grabber claw. Rocky picks up an empty can with his pup pack grabber.
RYDER: The beach would stay much cleaner if people used reusable containers.
CHASE: And threw out their trash.
RUBBLE: Totally. All you have to do is chuck it in for the win.
DESCRIPTION: Rubble tosses a plastic water bottle into a recycling bin with his pup pack excavator scoop.
[Rubble giggling]
RYDER: Yeah!
[Chase howling]
DESCRIPTION: In the ocean, Cap’n Turbot stands at the helm of the Flounder.
[Seagulls squawking]
CAP’N TURBOT: Here, fishy-fishy.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot searches the water with an underwater camera attached to the front of the Flounder. He checks a monitor with the camera view and watches the diving bell. In the diving bell, Francois searches the bottom of the ocean. He looks through a window with a camera aimed at the water.
FRANCOIS: Come out, come out, wherever you are. Ah! Ze pup fish!
DESCRIPTION: Francois spots a Puppyfishius Adventurus Bayus, a pup fish.
FRANCOIS: Say "cheese."
DESCRIPTION: Francois takes a picture as a jellyfish swims by and blocks the pup fish.
[Camera shutter clicking]
DESCRIPTION: The pup fish swims away.
FRANCOIS: Huh. I have been photo-bombed by that jellyfish! It came out of nowhere.
DESCRIPTION: On the Flounder, the pup fish appears on the monitor. In the diving bell, Francois spots the pup fish.
FRANCOIS: Yes! Ze fish is back! Smile!
CAP'N TURBOT THROUGH A RADIO: That perfect picture is going to be mine. Look over here, fishy!
DESCRIPTION: The Flounder stops next to the pup fish.
FRANCOIS: No, no. Look over here.
DESCRIPTION: The pup fish swims away as Francois and Cap’n Turbot both take pictures. The flashes on their cameras shine brightly in the water.
[Camera shutters clicking]
[Cap’n Turbot yelping]
CAP’N TURBOT: I can't see!
FRANCOIS: I can't see more!
DESCRIPTION: Francois spots a container ship passing by.
FRANCOIS: Mais non. Mais non!
[Ship horn blaring]
DESCRIPTION: On the Flounder, Cap’n Turbot spots the ship.
[Cap’n Turbot gasping]
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot swerves away from the ship and narrowly avoids a collision. Underwater, the diving bell hits the ship.
[Metal clanking]
[Francois grunting]
DESCRIPTION: The diving bell swerves toward the bottom of the ocean and lands wedged between two boulders.
[Metal clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Francois falls.
[Francois grunting]
DESCRIPTION: On the container ship, the ship captain looks down at the water below.
SHIP CAPTAIN: Yikes! If we get any closer, we'll crush that diving bell!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot cruises up to the container ship.
CAP’N TURBOT: I'll call the Paw Patrol.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls out his phone and makes a call. On the beach, Marshall stands next to Zuma. He tosses another paper cup into an overflowing recycling bin and looks at Ryder.
MARSHALL: That's it. No more garbage.
ZUMA: Good, because the last thing those whales need is junk food.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall and Zuma watch the whale pod splash around in the water.
[Pup pad ringing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder answers a video call from Cap’n Turbot.
RYDER: Cap'n Turbot, is everything okay?
CAP’N TURBOT: Not really, Ryder. My cousin and I were sea-horsing around, and he crashed his diving bell. Now it's perilously pinned.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot shows Ryder the diving bell pinned between the boulders under the container ship.
RYDER: Oh, no! We're on our way. No diving bell is too stuck. No pup is too small!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad. Skye, Rubble and Marshall’s pup tags light up.
RYDER: Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!
SKYE, RUBBLE AND MARSHALL: Ryder needs us!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Skye, Rubble and Marshall take off running. Marshall slips on a pile of seaweed, and a piece of seaweed slips onto his eyes.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Lookout, the other Paw Patrol pups run inside.
[Pups barking]
DESCRIPTION: The pups gather inside the Lookout elevator.
ROCKY: Marshall, look out!
DESCRIPTION: Marshall runs into the Lookout. He trips on a toy bone and stumbles toward the elevator.
[Toy bone squeaking]
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Crashing]
PUPS GRUNTING: Oof!
DESCRIPTION: In the elevator, Marshall lies on top of the other pups with the piece of seaweed on his head.
MARSHALL: I guess I didn't “see” the seaweed.
[Pups giggling]
DESCRIPTION: The elevator doors close, and the pups ride up the tower. Behind the Paw Patrol pawprint badge, the elevator pauses. A bright light flashes across the badge, and the pups continue up the tower in their Paw Patrol uniforms. A red light pulses around the observation deck. At the top of the tower, the pups run out of the elevator and line up side-by-side.
[Elevator ding]
CHASE: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad, and a large screen lowers from the ceiling.
RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups. Francois's diving bell crashed into a ship, and now he's stuck!
DESCRIPTION: The large screen shows Francois in the diving bell between two boulders next to the container ship.
FRANCOIS: Whoa!
RYDER: A ship that big can't back up very easily.
SKYE: Oh. Poor Francois!
RYDER: We'll save him. So, for this mission, I'll need Skye. I'll need you to use your hook to pull the diving bell out from where it's trapped.
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Let's take to the sky!
DESCRIPTION: Skye does a back flip.
RYDER: And Zuma. I'll need you to use your submarine to give that bell a push.
ZUMA: Let's dive in!
RYDER: All right! Paw Patrol is on a roll!
[Pups barking and howling]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs across the observation deck and swings down the Lookout firepole.
[Intense, upbeat music plays]
[Song] Paw Patrol!
DESCRIPTION: Skye runs toward the Lookout slide.
[Skye barking]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Skye backflips onto the slide.
[Song] Paw Patrol!
[Skye giggling]
[Skye barking]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma runs toward the slide.
[Zuma howling]
ZUMA: Yes!
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma leaps onto the slide.
[Zuma howling]
ZUMA: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: Skye rides the slide around the Lookout. The pup house platform below rotates and lines up Skye’s camper pup house with the end of the slide. Skye jumps off the slide.
[Song] Skye!
DESCRIPTION: The pup house roof opens, and Skye drops into her seat. The pup house transforms into a helicopter. The ramp and awning fold into the copter, and the front upper halves of the camper slide to the back. Wheels lift the pup house. One wheel pops out of the front, and two wheels pop out of the back sides. Helicopter blades pop out of the roof.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol!
DESCRIPTION: Skye flies away, and Zuma’s hovercraft pup house slides into place at the bottom of the slide.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma slips off the end of the slide.
[Song] Zuma!
ZUMA: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The pup house roof opens, and Zuma drops into his seat. The pup house transforms into a speedboat hovercraft. The entryway folds down, and a propeller engine pops out of the back. The cushioned bottom inflates and expands.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma drives away, and the Lookout garage doors open. Ryder jumps on his A.T.V. wearing a red and white helmet with a visor. Ryder drives out of the garage and leads Skye and Zuma down the driveway.
[Engine revving]
[Helicopter whirring]
[Hovercraft propellers whooshing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Zuma speed down a slope leading to the Bay. Skye follows above. Ryder and Zuma ride up a ramp at the end of the slope and soar through the air.
RYDER: Life jacket, deploy!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad. His jacket inflates into a life jacket, and his A.T.V. transforms into a jet ski. The front wheels slide into the engine. Covers above the wheels roll under the wheels and lock into place like snowmobile skis. The back wheels fold back and spin like propellers. A third ski slides out between them, and Ryder drops onto the water. Zuma speeds across the water with Skye above, as the team races into the ocean.
[Helicopter whirring]
DESCRIPTION: Under the container ship, Francois looks out the diving bell window with his phone in hand.
FRANCOIS: I am scared of this trap! Get me out!
DESCRIPTION: On the Flounder, Cap’n Turbot looks up from his phone.
CAP’N TURBOT: Please don't panic. I see the Paw Patrol now!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Zuma and Skye race up to the Flounder.
RYDER: Hey, Cap'n Turbot. How's Francois?
FRANCOIS ON A VIDEO CALL: I am not panicking!
RYDER: Good. Zuma, let's take your sub.
ZUMA: On it, Ryder.
[Zuma barking]
ZUMA: Sub!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma’s hovercraft transforms into a submarine. The propellers lower and submarine stabilizer fins slide out. The bottom of the hovercraft extends and shapes the hovercraft into a submarine. Ryder hops into a seat behind Zuma and a dome slides into place over them. Zuma steers the submarine underwater and down to the diving bell. Through the window, Francois smiles and waves.
ZUMA: No problem, le dude. We're here to help.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad.
RYDER: Skye, drop the hook!
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Hook! I love sky-fishing.
DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers a hook on a cable from her helicopter into the water.
[Splashing]
[Zuma barking]
ZUMA: Claw!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma grabs the cable with a large grabber claw under the submarine. He hooks the cable to the diving bell.
ZUMA: Looks like it's on.
RYDER: Great. On three. You push, and Skye, you pull. One, two, three!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma pushes the diving bell from behind. Skye pulls from above, and the team pulls the diving bell free.
[Scraping]
DESCRIPTION: Francois gives two thumbs-up.
[Francois sighing with relief]
RYDER: Great. Okay, Zuma. Unhook it.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma unhooks the diving bell from Skye’s cable. Francois steers the diving bell away from the container ship, revealing a large hole with garbage spilling out.
ZUMA: Ryder, the diving bell accidentally put a hole in the ship, and there's garbage spilling out!
DESCRIPTION: Plastic garbage floats to the surface of the water.
SHIP CAPTAIN: Ugh. How am I going to get all this stuff to the recycling plant now?
DESCRIPTION: The young whale swims up to garbage floating through the water.
RYDER: Oh, no! We need to get rid of this trash before the whales try to eat it.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder makes a call.
RYDER: Chase, bring your launcher!
DESCRIPTION: On a video call, Chase stands beside Rocky in the Lookout observation deck.
CHASE: On my way, Ryder!
RYDER: Rocky, bring your reuse-it truck
ROCKY: Got it! Actually, I don't get it. My truck isn't built for water.
RYDER: No, but I have an idea. Meet me on the beach. Let's head up, Zuma!
DESCRIPTION: On the surface of the water, Ryder sits on his jet ski beside Zuma’s submarine.
RYDER: Zuma, keep the whales away from the junk until we get back!
ZUMA: Aye-aye, dude.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma sinks back underwater. On the beach, Chase and Rocky drive across the sand. Chase drives his 4 by 4, and Rocky drives his large reuse-it truck.
[Siren wailing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder meets Chase and Rocky and climbs off his jet ski onto the beach. Chase and Rocky jump down from their vehicles.
CHASE: Hey, Ryder. So, what should we do?
RYDER: First, help me empty this trash into the reuse-it truck.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder carries a recycling box of trash over to Rocky’s truck. Rocky and Chase push a second box, and Ryder empties them into a container on the truck.
RYDER: Now, Rocky, upcycle this plastic into a pair of pontoons and a jumbo-sized vacuum hose.
DESCRIPTION: Rocky runs over to a computer on the side of the truck and crushes the trash inside the truck with a compactor.
[Trash clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky screws a pontoon, a hollow metal cylinder, to the side of his truck, next to the wheels. The tip of a vacuum hose sticks out of the reuse-it truck container.
CHASE: Awesome! Your truck has giant boat floaties.
ROCKY: Now, let's go clean up that waste.
RYDER: 'Cause there's no time to waste!
[Rocky and Chase giggling]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky jumps in his truck and drives it onto the water.
[Engine rumbling]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder jumps on his jet ski and starts the engine. Chase jumps on behind Ryder, and they leave the beach. In the ocean, Zuma watches the young whale swim toward a take-out cup.
ZUMA: Oh, no. That's not a snack, whalie!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma grabs the cup with his submarine grabber.
ZUMA: Phew. That was totally too close.
DESCRIPTION: Another whale opens its mouth as a metal can moves through the water.
ZUMA: No! I can't get there in time!
DESCRIPTION: Francois steers the diving bell into the whale’s path, and the whale turns away.
ZUMA: Nice move. Thanks, Francois.
FRANCOIS: No problem! I feel terrible for causing this mess.
CAP’N TURBOT: Me, too. Oh, I feel sick to my stomach.
FRANCOIS: But I am sicker to my stomach.
DESCRIPTION: Elsewhere on the water, Chase stands against Ryder.
RYDER: Okay, Chase. I loaded up your launcher with balls of sealant to fix the hole in the ship.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Chase and Rocky reach the container ship. They cruise through the plastic trash floating on the surface, and slow to a stop near the Flounder.
RYDER: It's leaking trash right about… there!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder points to the hole in the container ship.
CHASE: I see it, Ryder.
[Chase barking]
CHASE: Launcher!
DESCRIPTION: Chase launches slimy green balls of sealant through the water with his pup pack launcher. The sealant sticks to the edges of the hole in the ship, then expands and covers the hole.
RYDER: Perfect aim! The sealant expanded and sealed the hole like glue. Now, Rocky, fire up your vacuum and clean up the trash!
ROCKY: Okay. I'll work top to bottom.
DESCRIPTION: Rocky cruises around the water and vacuums up the trash floating about. Underwater, all three whales of the whale pod swim toward plastic trash floating behind Zuma.
ZUMA: Don’t! No! Plastic is not food. Ryder, the whales are having a snack attack!
RYDER: Snack attack? That's it. Cap'n Turbot, do you have any squid jerky?
DESCRIPTION: The whales rise to the surface of the water.
CAP’N TURBOT: I never leave home without it.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls a jar of squid jerky out of his hat. He tosses the jar to Ryder.
RYDER: Thanks, Cap'n! Chase, launch this far off so we can lure the whales away from here.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pours pieces of squid jerky into Chase’s launcher.
CHASE: All right. Whales, let's play follow the jerky!
DESCRIPTION: Chase launches jerky into the water and away from the trash. The whales swim toward the jerky. Ryder and Chase join Rocky as he vacuums the last pieces of trash.
RYDER: The whales are clear!
ROCKY: Great! Now I can clean the bottom!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky lowers the vacuum into the water and vacuums the underwater trash.
[Vacuum whirring]
DESCRIPTION: Francois continues through the water in the diving bell. He looks around with his camera at the ready.
FRANCOIS: Incroyable! Ze pup fish!
DESCRIPTION: Francois aims his camera at a smiling pup fish. The pup fish slips into a large plastic bottle, and Francois grabs his phone.
FRANCOIS: Zuma, save that bottle!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma pulls the bottle with the pup fish out of Rocky’s path and pulls it to the surface full of water. He hands the bottle to Ryder.
ZUMA: The poor little dude is stuck.
CHASE: Can't you just break the bottle?
RYDER: That might cut the fish. But maybe we could cut the glass.
ZUMA: How do you cut glass?
RYDER: A diamond would work.
DESCRIPTION: Rocky joins the others.
ROCKY: I could make one if I had some oil to compact.
CAP’N TURBOT: I've got some goo! It keeps the Flounder's gears from grinding.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pulls out an oil can.
ROCKY: Perfect!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot pours oil into the compactor on Rocky’s truck. Rocky presses the oil into a diamond on a stick and grabs the stick from the back of the truck.
RYDER: Zuma, hold the bottle so Rocky can cut it!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma takes the bottle from Ryder using his submarine grabber claw. The reuse-it truck pontoon starts to rock and Rocky stumbles.
ROCKY: Whoa! This pontoon is a little wobbly. What if I fall in and get wet?
RYDER: Remember what Rubble said? Just breathe and count to four.
ROCKY: Okay.
[Rocky inhaling deeply]
ROCKY: One, two, three, four. Hey! I feel better, and you will, too, little guy.
DESCRIPTION: The pup fish smiles. Rocky touches the tip of the diamond to the glass bottle. Zuma spins the bottle with his submarine grabber claw, and the diamond cuts through the glass.
[Grinding]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma hands the bottle back to Ryder. Ryder removes the top of the bottle, and the pup fish leaps out, back into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: Underwater, the pupfish swims between the diving bell and the Flounder.
FRANCOIS: Say "fromage."
CAP’N TURBOT THROUGH THE RADIO: Say cheese!
DESCRIPTION: Francois and Cap’n Turbot take pictures of the pup fish, then the pup fish swims away.
[Camera shutters clicking]
DESCRIPTION: On the beach, Cap’n Turbot and Francois meet Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups on the pier.
FRANCOIS: Many mercis for my rescue.
CAP’N TURBOT: And thanks for helping us both finally finagle fine fish photos!
RYDER: Anytime. Whenever you're in deep-sea trouble, just yelp for help!
SKYE: Yeah. But what are we going to do with all the trash we picked up?
RYDER: Easy! I'll upcycle it into reusable water bottles!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky runs over to his truck. He pushes a lever, then meets Ryder at the back of the truck. Rocky and Ryder hand out reusable water bottles. Ryder hands one to a black-haired man. Rocky hands a bottle to a black-haired woman.
BLACK-HAIRED MAN: Hey, thanks.
ROCKY: You're welcome!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Rocky return to the pier. The pup fish leaps across the water.
CAP’N TURBOT: The pup fish!
FRANCOIS: Ze fishy!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot and Francois reach for their cameras and bump into each other.
CAP’N TURBOT: Oop.
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot and Francois fall off the dock.
[Cap’n Turbot and Francois yelping]
[Splashing]
[Everyone laughing]
