[Song] Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh-oh, Paw Patrol.

[Episode Title] Pups Save Thundermouth.

TRACKER: Pups save Thundermouth.

[Opening Credits] Written by Michael Stokes. Executive Producers: Jennifer Dodge, Ronnen Harary, Keith Chapman.

[Gentle, bright music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In the jungle at night, the full moon shines brightly over the dense, lush trees. In a small clearing, the Paw Patrol pups, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma and Skye sit around a campfire with the Paw Patroller parked behind them. Ryder and Carlos sit near the campfire on a log. Tracker runs up with a stick between his teeth and drops it beside the campfire.

RUBBLE: Hey. Are those sticks for roasting marshmallows? It's not a campout if there isn't a cookout.

MARSHALL: Mm-mmm.

DESCRIPTION: Marshall shakes his head, and his tongue sticks out.

TRACKER: Nope. These are for the campfire. I want to keep it big and bright to help keep out the dark.

DESCRIPTION: Tracker joins Carlos and glances over his shoulder toward the dark trees. Carlos pulls a flashlight out of his satchel and clicks it on.

CARLOS: This should help.

DESCRIPTION: Carlos sets the flashlight on the ground beside Tracker.

TRACKER: That does help, Carlos. Maybe we can use the sticks for roasting marshmallows. That does sound pretty good.

RUBBLE: Yes!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall trots over to Tracker.

MARSHALL: Don't worry, Tracker. There's nothing to be afraid of.

[Squawking]

[Marshall gasping]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall jumps. Tracker looks toward a tree branch, where a small blue and orange-feathered bird perches.

[Blue and orange-feathered bird squawking]

[Marshall and Tracker giggling]

MARSHALL: I guess the dark makes everything a little spookier.

SKYE: Oh. Then maybe it's not a good idea to tell spooky stories now.

TRACKER: Oh, no. I love spooky stories!

MARSHALL: Me, too! It's not a campout without a spooky story.

CARLOS: Okay. Have you heard of the legend of Boca de Trueno?

DESCRIPTION: Carlos shines the flashlight under his chin.

TRACKER: You mean Thundermouth?

CARLOS: Yes. He's a giant monster, bigger than six elephants, who lives in a cave deep in the jungle.

DESCRIPTION: Carlos turns off the flashlight. He sets the flashlight on the ground, then points toward the dense trees.

CARLOS: He has purple-spotted teeth, glowing eyes and long horns!

DESCRIPTION: Carlos holds sticks against his head like horns. Chase, Zuma, Skye and Rocky gather around Rubble.

CHASE, ZUMA, SKYE, ROCKY AND RUBBLE: Ooh!

[Pups giggling]

CARLOS: And on a night when the bird squawks…

DESCRIPTION: Carlos stands. Marshall and Tracker rise from their hiding place behind the log.

[Marshall and Tracker giggling]

CARLOS: …Thundermouth will come roaring out of his cave with a sound that's louder than a storm and even scares the elephants.

DESCRIPTION: Carlos drops his sticks in the campfire, and embers rise into the air. He walks around the campfire, then jumps toward the pups gathered around Rubble.

CARLOS: Boo!

[Roaring]

[Pups yelping]

DESCRIPTION: Chase, Zuma, Skye, Rubble and Rocky jump. Skye lands on a bag of marshmallows and launches marshmallows into the air.

[Pups giggling]

[Ryder, Marshall and Tracker giggling]

[Blue and orange-feathered bird squawking]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Marshall and Tracker’s gaze flickers around the trees.

MARSHALL: And that's all it is, right? A story?

CARLOS: Mm-hmm. That's all it –

[Distant droning]

DESCRIPTION: Carlos’s gaze widens. Ryder, Marshall and Tracker run over to the others. A flock of birds fly out of a tree.

[Wings flapping]

[Leaves rustling]

ZUMA: Dudes, something's coming.

DESCRIPTION: Marshall hides behind Ryder. Tracker runs off.

MARSHALL WHISPERING: Maybe it's Thundermouth.

TRACKER WHISPERING: Ryder, here.

DESCRIPTION: Tracker tosses Ryder the flashlight with his teeth, then runs back to the other pups. Ryder clicks on the flashlight. The ground shakes. The other pups hide behind Ryder.

[Intense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: An adult elephant and a baby elephant run toward the clearing. At the edge of the trees, the adult elephant rises onto its hind legs.

[Adult elephant trumpeting loudly]

RYDER: Easy, easy! They're both scared.

DESCRIPTION: The adult elephant drops onto all four feet. Carlos rubs the baby elephant’s trunk.

CHASE: Maybe they were listening to Carlos's story?

CARLOS: You're okay. Everything's okay.

DESCRIPTION: Zuma rests his paws against the adult elephant t. Tracker pets the baby’s trunk with his paw.

TRACKER: You're safe, Daddy-O.

[Distant droning]

DESCRIPTION: The baby jumps onto its hind legs and flips Tracker into the air.

TRACKER: Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Tracker lands on the baby’s back, and the baby takes off running.

TRACKER: Cuidado. Be careful where you're going, little big fellow!

DESCRIPTION: Tracker ducks under a tree branch.

TRACKER YELPING: Woah!

DESCRIPTION: The Daddy elephant and the others watch the baby elephant run off with Tracker.

TRACKER: Uh, guys? A little help?

DESCRIPTION: Carlos, the Paw Patrol team, and the Daddy elephant run after Tracker and the baby elephant. Ahead of them, Tracker stands on the unmoving baby elephant.

TRACKER: Guys, stop, stop, stop!

DESCRIPTION: The pups skid to a stop at the edge of a soft pit of sand. Marshall stumbles.

RYDER: Whoa. Careful, Marshall. That's quicksand!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder grabs Marshall as Carlos and the Daddy elephant skid to a stop behind the team.

[Tracker barking]

TRACKER: Cables!

DESCRIPTION: Tracker hooks his pup pack cables onto a tree branch and swings off the baby elephant. He drops onto the ground at the edge of the quicksand next to Carlos and the Paw Patrol team.

TRACKER: Phew.

CARLOS: Glad you're safe.

TRACKER: Yeah, but Baby won't be able to get out of that quicksand so easily. The more he struggles, the faster he'll sink.

DESCRIPTION: The baby elephant wriggles in the quicksand and starts to sink.

[Baby trumpeting]

[Daddy trumpeting]

RYDER: You're right, Tracker. We're going to need our gear. Don't worry, Daddy Elephant. No baby elephant is too stuck. No pup is too small!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps his pup pad. Tracker, Chase and Marshall’s pup tags light up.

RYDER: Paw Patrol, to the Paw Patroller!

TRACKER, CHASE AND MARSHALL: Ryder needs us!

DESCRIPTION: Chase, Skye, Rubble, Zuma and Rocky run up a ramp into the Paw Patroller. Tracker swings in behind them on his cables. Marshall runs after the pups.

MARSHALL: Wait for me!

DESCRIPTION: Marshall trips on the bag of marshmallows and soars through the air.

ROCKY: Look out!

MARSHALL: Whoa!

DESCRIPTION: Marshmallows fall through the air behind Marshall.

[Crashing]

PUPS GRUNTING: Oof!

DESCRIPTION: In the back of the Paw Patroller, Marshall lies on top of the other pups. Marshmallows rain down around the pups.

MARSHALL: Sorry, pups. I got carried away.

DESCRIPTION: One marshmallow lands on Marshall’s tail.

MARSHALL: Next time, I'll be more "Marshall-mallow."

[Pups laughing]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall eats the marshmallow on his tail.

[Munching]

[Pups laughing]

[Whirring]

DESCRIPTION: The ramp door closes, and the pups run through the Paw Patroller, past a paw icon on the side.

[Pups cheering]

[Pups barking]

DESCRIPTION: The pups continue to the front of the Paw Patroller in their Paw Patrol safari uniforms. Tracker, Zuma, Rubble and Skye hop onto one bench, while Rocky, Chase and Marshall hop onto another facing each other.

CHASE: Paw Patrol ready for action, Ryder, sir!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder sits in the front passenger seat facing the pups. Robo-Dog sits beside Ryder in the driver’s seat.

RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups.

DESCRIPTION: The pups turn to face a large screen. The screen shows the baby elephant in quicksand.

RYDER: A loud noise in the jungle scared a baby elephant and its dad. We need to be quick and get Baby out of the quicksand before he sinks any deeper!

DESCRIPTION: The screen shows the baby elephant sinking deeper into the quicksand. The daddy elephant stands nearby.

[Daddy trumpeting loudly]

RYDER: So, for this mission, we'll need Rubble. I'll need you to use your rig to push rocks into the mud to make a bridge so we can reach him.

RUBBLE: Rubble on the double!

RYDER: And Rocky. I'll need you to use your tools to make a big swing to lift Baby out.

ROCKY: Green means go! Up!

RYDER: And Chase, I need you to use your winch to pull Baby free.

CHASE: Chase is on the case!

RYDER: All right. Paw Patrol is on a roll!

[Robo-Dog barking]

[Upbeat music plays]

[Song] Rubble!

DESCRIPTION: The pup house mesh roof opens, and Rubble drops inside.

[Rubble howling]

[Song] Go, go, go, go, go.

DESCRIPTION: The pup house transforms into Rubble’s safari bulldozer crane. The door closes, and the entryway flips to reveal the bulldozer scoop. The mesh roof slides out, and over Rubble, then bulldozer tracks unfold from under the pup house and pop into place. A construction crane slides out from the back of the pup house and lights flash on the scoop.

[Song] Paw Patrol!

[Rubble howling]

[Song] Go, go, go, go, go.

DESCRIPTION: The back of the Paw Patroller unfolds into a ramp, and Rubble drives out with his lights flashing.

[Bulldozer rumbling]

[Rocky howling]

DESCRIPTION: Rocky leaps toward the pup house.

[Song] Rocky!

DESCRIPTION: The metal roof opens, and Rocky drops into his seat.

[Song] Go, go, go, go, go.

DESCRIPTION: The pup house transforms into Rocky’s recycling truck. The door closes and a green bumper slides into place. The back of the pup house rises and extends into a storage container. Forklift forks unfold from the sides of the pup house as lights pop up from the container. Large wheels lift the recycling truck pup house off the ground.

[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol.

DESCRIPTION: Rocky drives down the Paw Patroller ramp with his lights flashing and headlights shining.

[Recycling truck rumbling]

DESCRIPTION: In the Paw Patroller, Ryder rides a lift to a loft wearing his helmet. He jumps on his A.T.V. and rides another lift onto a platform below that then slides out of the Paw Patroller. Ryder drives down a ramp and follows Rubble, Rocky and Chase into the jungle. Chase drives his blue police safari truck with flashing lights.

[Ryder’s tires squealing]

[Chase’s siren wailing]

[Engine revving, tires squealing]

DESCRIPTION: At the quicksand, Carlos stands beside the daddy elephant.

CARLOS: It's okay, big guy.

DESCRIPTION: The baby elephant sinks further into the quicksand.

CARLOS: The Paw Patrol is on its way.

[Siren wailing in the distance]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble and Rocky lead Ryder and Chase toward the quicksand.

RUBBLE: One stone bridge, coming up!

DESCRIPTION: Rubble picks up boulders with his bulldozer scoop and drops them in the quicksand. The boulders quickly sink.

RUBBLE: Whoa! That's some deep quicksand.

[Rocky barking]

DESCRIPTION: Rocky stands on a nearby fallen log.

ROCKY: Will this work?

RYDER: Great idea, Rocky. If stones won't work, let's try a wooden bridge!

DESCRIPTION: Carlos and Ryder watch the pups work. Rubble scoops up the log from under Rocky.

ROCKY: Oh!

DESCRIPTION: Rocky hops off the log, Rubble lays the log under the baby elephant and across the quicksand. Rocky runs across the log with a fabric swing and leaps onto the baby elephant’s back.

[Chase barking]

CHASE: Winch!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder grabs the cable from the winch in the front of Chase’s safari truck. Ryder swings the cable over a tree branch and hooks it onto Rocky’s swing wrapped around the baby elephant.

[Deep, low droning]

DESCRIPTION: The ground shakes and Rocky stumbles.

ROCKY: Whoa, whoa, whoa!

DESCRIPTION: The baby elephant catches Rocky with its trunk.

ROCKY: There's that loud sound again! Thanks, buddy. Now, let's get you out of there.

DESCRIPTION: Rocky jumps onto the log and runs across.

RYDER: Retract the winch, Chase.

[Chase barking]

CHASE: Winch, retract.

[Winch whirring]

DESCRIPTION: The winch pulls against the baby elephant’s swing. It lifts the front of Chase’s truck off the ground.

CHASE: Uh-oh. Baby is big!

DESCRIPTION: The weight of the baby elephant pulls Chase toward the quicksand.

RYDER: We need to anchor the truck down!

DESCRIPTION: The daddy elephant leans on Chase’s truck and anchors it to the ground.

CHASE: Thanks, bigger big guy!

DESCRIPTION: The winch pulls the baby elephant out of the quicksand.

RYDER: Rubble, get that log underneath him!

DESCRIPTION: Rubble slides a second log beside the first. Chase lowers the baby elephant onto both logs, and Rocky runs across.

ROCKY: I'll unhook him.

DESCRIPTION: The baby elephant tosses Rocky onto its back with its trunk.

RYDER: Watch your step, guys!

DESCRIPTION: The baby elephant follows Rocky across the logs and back onto solid ground. The daddy elephant runs over.

[Daddy elephant trumpeting]

[Baby elephant trumpeting]

Ryder: Great job, everyone!

[Deep, low droning]

[Gasping]

DESCRIPTION: The ground shakes. The daddy elephant wraps his trunk around the baby elephant.

CHASE: But we still have a problem.

RUBBLE: Is that…

[Rubble gulping]

RUBBLE: …Thundermouth?

RYDER: That's just a story, Rubble. But something out there is scaring the elephants.

ROCKY: And everybody else in the jungle!

CARLOS: It might cause more animals to get in trouble, like Baby here.

CHASE: But how do we stop whatever or whoever is making the sound?

[Deep, low droning]

RYDER: The first step is to find out what it is. We're going to track down whoever is making that sound. But we need more help.

DESCRIPTION: Ryder calls Tracker and Skye on his pup pad.

RYDER: Tracker, Skye, meet us in the clearing.

SKYE: Roger.

TRACKER: On our way.

DESCRIPTION: Later, Skye flies her safari helicopter through the jungle. Tracker drives his jeep alongside Chase, Rocky, Rubble and Ryder. Carlos rides on the back of Ryder’s A.T.V. wearing an orange helmet. The team follows a trail of elephant footprints.

[Siren wailing]

RYDER: Daddy and Baby came from this direction after they heard the scary noise.

CARLOS: Everyone, keep a lookout and your ears open.

TRACKER: Easy for me.

DESCRIPTION: Tracker’s large ears twitch.

[Satellite beeping]

[Team laughing]

DESCRIPTION: Elsewhere in the jungle, the team slows to a stop under a tall banana tree with a large bushel of bananas. Ryder looks at the elephant footprints. Skye lands her helicopter.

RYDER: This must be where the elephants were when they first heard the sound.

SKYE: But where do we go from here?

[Deep, low droning]

DESCRIPTION: The ground shakes, and the bananas fall out of the tree.

[Rubble chuckling]

RUBBLE: First time I've ever been in a banana blizzard.

TRACKER: The roars are coming from…

[Satellite beeping]

DESCRIPTION: Tracker’s ears twitch. He turns to his left.

TRACKER: …thataway!

RYDER: Good job, Tracker. Let's go!

DESCRIPTION: Skye takes flight, and the team turns down a clear path between the trees to a large, dark cave.

RUBBLE: Yikes. If there were such a thing as a Thundermouth monster, this sure looks like where he'd live.

TRACKER: It's awfully dark in there.

DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Carlos walk toward the cave.

CARLOS: Still, we need to go in and find out who's making that noise.

CHASE: I'll break out the flashlights!

RYDER: Wait. If we all go in with lights shining, we might startle whatever it is, and it'll run away.

DESCRIPTION: The pups join Ryder and Carlos.

ROCKY: But how can we find it without lights?

RYDER: Skye, your night-vision goggles would work!

SKYE: Roger that, Ryder. I'll search every inch of that cave.

TRACKER: Maybe you won't have to. I have the best hearing. I can track the monster, or whatever it is, by the sounds he makes.

CARLOS: Are you sure? That cave is pretty dark.

TRACKER: Skye, you'll stick close?

DESCRIPTION: Tracker looks nervous. He glances at Skye, and Skye jumps to his side.

SKYE: This pup is by your side, Tracker! We'll find Thundermouth together.

TRACKER: Okay, then. Ears up.

[Satellite beeping]

[Skye barking]

SKYE: Goggles!

DESCRIPTION: The lens of Skye’s night-vision goggles glow green. Tracker and Skye walk into the dark cave.

RYDER THROUGH SKYE’S PUP TAG: Keep in voice contact. At the first sign of trouble, we'll come running.

SKYE: Roger that, Ryder.

[Deep breathing]

TRACKER: Ay-yi-yi. I can hear breathing.

SKYE: Which way?

TRACKER: Down that tunnel. I think.

DESCRIPTION: Skye looks at Tracker through her goggles and turns her gaze to a wide tunnel. Boulders fall around Tracker and Skye.

[Boulders thudding]

TRACKER: Yep. Down that tunnel.

DESCRIPTION: Outside the cave, Ryder and the others watch the boulders fall.

RUBBLE: Ryder, I know rocks, and this cave isn't very stable.

RYDER INTO THE PUP PAD: Skye, Tracker, walk very carefully in there!

DESCRIPTION: In the cave, Skye and Tracker continue down the tunnel.

SKYE: Are you okay, Tracker?

TRACKER: The dark actually makes it easier to listen. Please tell me you don't see anything scary ahead.

DESCRIPTION: Tracker peeks around a boulder. Skye takes his place and searches the darkness through her goggles.

SKYE: Nope. It's safe.

DESCRIPTION: Skye and Tracker continue down the tunnel.

[Deep breathing]

SKYE WHISPERING: I hear the breathing now, too. Ryder, we're close.

TRACKER: Psst. Right in there!

DESCRIPTION: Tracker points toward another dark tunnel.

SKYE: Ryder, we're going in.

RYDER: Be careful, pups.

DESCRIPTION: Skye and Tracker reach a cave with moonlight shining from above. Ahead of them, a giant monkey rests against a large boulder.

[Deep, loud, low droning]

TRACKER: So loud!

DESCRIPTION: The cave shakes. Tracker looks at Skye.

TRACKER: We got this far, Skye. We've got to see what it is!

[Monkey inhaling]

DESCRIPTION: The giant monkey blows into a hollow log.

[Deep, loud, low droning]

TRACKER: Ay-yi-yi!

DESCRIPTION: The giant monkey turns toward Tracker and Skye.

[Monkey gibbering]

DESCRIPTION: The giant monkey smiles.

[Tracker and Skye gasping]

TRACKER AND SKYE: Big Hairy!

[Big Hairy gibbering]

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy, the giant monkey, plays the hollow log like a horn.

[Deep, loud, low horn blaring]

TRACKER: Wow. It was so loud, but there wasn't anything to be afraid of.

SKYE ON THE PUP PAD: Ryder, Thundermouth is Big Hairy, and he's trying to make music with a log.

[Horn blaring]

RYDER: Really? Big Hairy was making the noise? The sounds must've gotten louder, echoing through the cave!

[Big Hairy hooting]

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy walks across the cave playing his horn.

[Horn blaring]

DESCRIPTION: Tracker and Skye start to run after Big Hairy, and boulders fall around them.

[Boulders thudding]

SKYE: Uh-oh. Take cover!

DESCRIPTION: Tracker and Skye run after Big Hairy. Rocks fall around them.

[Rocks banging]

DESCRIPTION: Outside the cave, Ryder and the others run from the entrance. A pile of boulders fall and block the entrance.

[Boulders thudding]

ROCKY: Whoa! He's really rocking the house. I mean, cave!

DESCRIPTION: Inside the cave, Tracker and Skye peek around boulders.

SKYE: Oh, no. Those rocks blocked the tunnel!

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy paces behind the wall of boulders at the entrance.

[Big Hairy gibbering]

[Banging]

TRACKER: No, Hairy!

DESCRIPTION: Tracker and Skye run over to Big Hairy as Big Hairy bangs on a boulder.

TRACKER: Please don't make any more noise. It'll make it worse!

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy continues banging the boulder.

[Banging]

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy pauses.

TRACKER: Hairy, it'll be okay. Everyone's scared of something, but we're here with you. And stuff is a lot less scary when your amigos are by your side.

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy sits with his back to the boulder. Tracker and Skye put their paws on Big Hairy’s foot.

[Big Hairy gibbering]

RYDER: Rubble, let's move those rocks!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder steps away from the boulders blocking the cave entrance.

RUBBLE: Rubble on the double!

[Intense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble drives up to the boulders in his bulldozer crane and scoops up a small boulder. Rocky removes a larger boulder with his forklift forks. Carlos and Chase roll smaller boulders away from the entrance. Ryder pries a boulder off the pile with a long stick.

RUBBLE: Oh, no. We're going to need a lot more muscle to move that big boulder.

DESCRIPTION: The team looks up at a giant boulder.

[Daddy elephant trumpeting]

[Baby elephant trumpeting]

DESCRIPTION: The team turns as the daddy elephant and the baby elephant run toward them. The daddy elephant moves a giant boulder with his head and clears the entrance. The baby elephant picks up a tiny boulder with its trunk and tosses it aside.

[Celebratory music plays]

[Rubble, Chase and Rocky cheering]

DESCRIPTION: Tracker and Skye run out of the cave. Big Hairy crawls out behind them with his horn.

[Skye giggling]

SKYE: Get ready. It's show time!

[Big Hairy gibbering]

DESCRIPTION: Big Hairy blows his horn.

[Horn blaring]

[Everyone laughing]

[Elephants trumpeting]

RYDER: It's not so scary when you can see who's making the noise.

TRACKER: Nope, but it's still pretty loud.

[Everyone laughing]

DESCRIPTION: The daddy elephant taps Ryder on the shoulder with his trunk.

CARLOS: I think he's saying, "Thank you."

RYDER: You're welcome, Daddy Elephant.

[Horn blaring]

RYDER: Just remember, whenever you hear a scary noise, just yelp for help!

[Elephants trumpeting]

[Horn blaring]

TRACKER: Or sing along!

[Tracker howling]
