Voices sing, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE,
NUMBERBLOCKS
Six, two columns of three blocks, jumps into the air. Seven, a stack of seven different coloured blocks; Eight, two columns of four blocks; Nine, three columns of three blocks; and Ten, a stack of ten white blocks outlined in red; jump into the air.
Voices sing, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN,
NUMBERBLOCKS
ONE AND ANOTHER ONE IS TWO
AND ANOTHER ONE IS ME
THAT'S THREE

Number blocks lie side by side on the grass as they sleep.
[Lullaby music plays]
[Gentle snoring]
Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen, Nineteen and Twenty sit up at the end of the line. Twenty holds a book.
Twenty says, IF YOU'RE SITTING
COMFORTABLY, THEN I'LL BEGIN.
Sixteen reads, CHAPTER SIXTEEN, "A SIX WALKS
INTO A TEN."
OW!
[Snort. Laughter]
Six bounces across a stage to a microphone.
Six says, NOW IT'S TIME TO INTRODUCE
YOU TO AN ACT WHO WILL AMUSE YOU!
SHE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A SCENE.
GIVE IT UP NOW FOR SIXTEEN
[Applause]
Ten peeks out from behind a curtain.
Six asks, UM, HI, TEN.
WHERE'S SIXTEEN?
Sixteen says, RIGHT HERE!
I'M SIXTEEN.
LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
IT'S NICE TO BE HERE.
[Whoosh]
Sixteen flips from side to side.
[Laughter]
She says, AND HERE, AND HERE.
AND HERE!
OH, LOOK AT THAT!
I'M A SQUARE TURNING ROUND!
Nine taps a cymbal.
[Drum rim shot, laughing.]
Sixteen says, HEY, YOU KNOW WHAT NINE'S
FAVOURITE STORY IS?
"GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE
SQUARES!" SQUARES.
[Drum rim shot, laughing]
One and Four giggle as they sit at a table.
Sixteen says, AND IF YOU'RE AFTER A SQUARE
DEAL, HERE I AM!
I'M A SQUARE...
[Laughter]
Sixteen divides into four squares.
The four squares sing, MADE OF SQUARES
The four squares combine to make Sixteen.
Sixteen says, WITH A--
[Sneeze]
Sixteen sneezes and Four pops out of her middle.
Four says, A SQUARE IN THE MIDDLE!
[Drum rim shot, laughing, clapping]
A page turns in the book.
Seventeen reads, CHAPTER SEVENTEEN, "PORTRAIT OF
THE ARTIST IN HIS PRIME."
[Upbeat music plays]
Seventeen stands on a stage with a canvass propped up on an easel beside him.
Seventeen says, HOW DO?
SEVENTEEN HERE.
TODAY, I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW
TO PAINT A SELF PORTRAIT.
HERE GOES!
[Painting]
Seventeen paints seventeen pictures of himself on the canvas. One rushes out and carries the canvas away.
Seventeen says, OOH, DEARIE ME!
THAT'S SEVENTEEN SELF PORTRAITS!
LET'S TRY AGAIN. I'M--
[Running footsteps]
One places a new canvas on the easel. Seventeen divides into Ten and Seven.
Ten says, TEN.
Seven says, AND SEVEN!
Seventeen says, SO IF I PAINT TEN AND THEN
SEVEN... AW, SEVENTEEN OF EACH.
[Running footsteps]
One carries the canvas away.
Seventeen says, OH, I'M NEVER GOING TO GET THIS RIGHT.
One says, TAKE SOME DEEP BREATHS!
ONE!
[Inhale]
Seventeen says, THAT'S IT!
ONE, STAY THERE.
[Paint sloshes]
Seventeen paints and says, AND THERE, AND THERE, AND THERE!
AND THERE, AND THERE!
THERE, THERE, THERE, THERE!
SEVENTEEN ONES!
WHICH MAKE ONE SEVENTEEN!

Fourteen looks into a handheld camera as Ten and Eight stand behind him.

LIVE IN A COOL ATTEMPT TO BE THE
FASTEST NUMBER EVER.
He points the camera at Ten and Eight.
[Slide whistle]
Ten says, ROCKET TEN READY TO FIRE.
Eight cheers, TWO, FOUR, SIX, EIGHT, SUPER
SPEEDY, DON'T BE LATE!
Ten and Eight combine to make Eighteen.
Eighteen says, DID SOMEBODY SAY "SPEED?"
EIGHTEEN, SPEED MACHINE!
ONE RAY, AND AWAY!
[Zoom]
Fourteen says, WHOA!
Eighteen says, WANT TO SEE ME GO FASTER?
[Pop]
He says, TWO RAYS AND AWAY!
[Pop]
Eighteen says, THREE RAYS AND AWAY!
[Pop]
Eighteen says, SIX RAYS AND AWAY!
Eighteen’s lips wave in the wind.
[Gurgling]
Eighteen says, NINE RAYS AND AWAY!
SUPER SONIC!
[Whoosh]
Fourteen says, EIGHTEEN, EIGHTEEN!
Eighteen smiles.
Eighteen says, GOOD CALL, COMPADRE!
EIGHTEEN RAYS AND AWAY!
[Whoosh]
Fourteen says, NO, DUDE, LOOK OUT!
TUNNEL!
Eighteen zooms towards a tunnel. He turns and slides through the tunnel horizontally.
[Whoosh]
Eighteen says, UH-OH!
Eighteen spins as his eyes spin.
[Ringing]
Eighteen says, NOW THAT WAS A SPEEDY ESCAPE.
PHEW!
[Chuckling]
[Page turns]
A page in the book turns.
[Harp chord plays]
Nineteen reads, CHAPTER NINETEEN,
"FLEXIBILITY!"
[Upbeat music plays]
Nineteen walks on a red carpet.
Nineteen says, I'M NINETEEN.
WHEN I TRY TO MAKE A RECTANGLE,
I'M ALWAYS ONE BLOCK OFF.
OH, BUT WHO NEEDS RECTANGLES
WHEN YOU CAN MAKE SHAPES LIKE
THESE?
WHOO!
Nineteen shifts into different shapes.
Two says, SO MANY SHAPES, SO VERSATILE!
THE PLANT POT, THE HELICOPTER.
LOVELY!
LETTING US SEE THE TEN AND THE
NINE THERE, MAGNIFICENT!
FINISHING WITH THE HORSE!
Nineteen shifts into a horse shape and stands by a gymnastics horse.
Nineteen says, I'M A WINNER!
Nineteen jumps over the horse and shifts back into two columns.
She says, I GO MY OWN WAY!
[Harp chord plays]
[Page turns]
A page turns in the book.
Twenty reads, CHAPTER TWENTY, "MAKING FRIENDS."
[Tango music plays]
Ten says, HELLO, I'M TEN!
Another Ten says, I'M ANOTHER TEN!
Both Tens say, LET'S BE FRIENDS!
The tens combine to make Twenty.
Twenty says, I'M TWENTY, AND I'M GOOD AT
MAKING FRIENDS.
I'M A TEN PACK OF TWOS.
Twenty breaks into ten twos.
[Jazz rhythm plays]
[Shoes tap]
The twos dance.
The twos say, ALL: THANK YOU, NUMBER BAND,
AND...
The ten twos combine to make Twenty.
Twenty says, GOOD NIGHT!
[Crickets chirp]
[Page turns]
All of the number blocks sleep, except Twenty.
[Lullaby music plays]
[Gentle snoring]
Twenty says, SWEET DREAMS, ALL OF YOU.
[Gentle snoring, a yawn]
