Lila says, NOW PUT THE ROOF ON CAREFULLY MARCO...

[Blocks clattering, scratching]

Marco puts two triangular prisms on Lila’s block. He scratches his wrist and knocks the roof blocks over.

Lila says, MARCO, STOP SCRATCHING!

Marco says, IT'S NOT MY FAULT, LILA! I'VE BEEN ITCHY EVER SINCE I TOUCHED THOSE NETTLES!

[Block clattering, Marco scratching]

Lila puts a roof block on top of the house.

Lila says, OH, YEAH, YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO GRAMPA. HE TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH THEM! HERE, WE'LL PLAY WITH THE WOOLLYS INSTEAD. THAT WAY YOU MIGHT FORGET ABOUT YOUR ITCHIES!

[Clattering]

Lila moves the stack of blocks. Marco picks up a triangular prism from the floor, then drops it and scratches his wrist.

Marco puts BeeBee, Willy, and Auntie Froggie on the floor.

Marco says, OK. I'LL BRING BEEBEE AND HIS GRAMPA WILLY... AND AUNTIE FROGGIE TOO.

[Rustling]

Lila drops three flowers onto the Woollys.

Lila says, LET'S ADD A COUPLE OF FLOWERS...

Marco says, AND THE WOWIE WOO TO MAKE OUR STORY MORE...WOO!

[Clattering, upbeat music plays, rustling]

Marco puts a wooden flower on the floor. He and Lila move a cardboard theatre featuring drawings of Woollys and red curtains in front of the pile of Woollys. The cardboard curtains slide open.

[Harp chords play]

Lila narrates, IT WAS MORNING TIME AND POOR CLAUDINE HADN'T SLEPT VERY WELL...

[Gentle music plays]

Claudine says, OH MY, OH MY! WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHT! A LITTLE NAP WOULD CERTAINLY DO ME GOOD.

Claudine closes her eyes. BeeBee climbs up onto her nose.

BeeBee says, GOOD MORNING, CLAUDINE!

[Upbeat music plays]

Claudine says, GOOD MORNING, BEEBEE... SAY, YOU LOOK PRETTY EXCITED THIS MORNING...

BeeBee says, THAT'S BECAUSE TODAY, GRAMPA IS GOING TO TEACH ME LOTSA STUFF ABOUT NATURE!

Willy says, GOOD MORNING, CLAUDINE!

[Claudine yawning]

Claudine says, GOOD MORNING WILLY, MY APOLOGIES, I DIDN'T SLEEP VERY WELL LAST NIGHT...

[Birds chirping, upbeat music plays, slide whistle]

Willy says, OOOH! YOU'LL BE ABLE TO RELAX TODAY, MY DEAR CLAUDINE. I'M TAKING BEEBEE TO THE WOODS. LET'S GO BEEBEE!

[Footsteps rustling]

Willy and BeeBee walk down a path away from Claudine. She shuts her eyes.

Claudine says, FINALLY, A LITTLE PEACE AND QUIET...HMM...

[Rustling, upbeat music plays]

In the woods, Willy follows BeeBee on a trail.

BeeBee says, LOOK GRAMPA! A PEAR TREE!

Willy says, AH NO, BEEBEE. THAT'S A CHERRY TREE!

[Slide whistles]

BeeBee jumps and runs away. He stops in front of a llama.

BeeBee says, OK! WOW! THIS GIRAFFE SURE IS BIG!

[Willy laughing]

Willy says, BEEBEE! THAT'S A LLAMA.

[Dinging]

BeeBee says, OH REALLY? BUT THEN, WHAT DOES A GIRAFFE LOOK LIKE?

Willy says, WELL... NOT LIKE THAT...

[Llama grunting, slide whistles, upbeat music continues]

BeeBee runs over the llama. He runs on a trail and stops by a blue flower.

BeeBee says, AH, I KNOW WHAT THIS IS GRAMPA: IT'S A FLOWER!

Willy arrives on the llama.

Willy says, EXACTLY! ACTUALLY IT'S A... UM... I KNOW! THIS IS A... "VERY LOVELIUS BLUEUS FLOWERUS.”

[Boinging, BeeBee sneezing, slide whistle]

The llama walks away, and Willy falls to the ground. Pollen from the flower lands on BeeBee. He sneezes and turns into a purple flower.

Willy says, WOO!!! WHAT'S THIS STRANGE WOWIE THINGIE!? WOO, BOUNCING YARN BALLS, BEEBEE, YOU TURNED INTO A FLOWER!?

BeeBee says, OH YEAH!

[Slide whistle, BeeBee laughing]

BeeBee asks, AM I A PRETTY FLOWER, GRAMPA?

Willy replies, UH? WHAT? UMM... YES, A VERY PRETTY FLOWER! BUT YOU'D BE EVEN PRETTIER IF YOU WERE JUST BEEBEE. A FLOWER...POLLEN...ATCHOO...POOF! MMM...NOW! SINCE YOU TRANSFORMED INTO A FLOWER WHILE SMELLING A FLOWER, MAYBE YOU'LL TURN BACK INTO A LITTLE WOOLLY BY SMELLING ANOTHER LITTLE WOOLLY! WOO-OOO-OOO! FOLLOW ME!

[Upbeat music plays]

Willy grabs one of BeeBee’s leaves and pulls him away from the flower.

BeeBee says, I LOVE LEARNING ABOUT NATURE WITH YOU, GRAMPA!

[Buzzing]

A bee flies to the flower and then follows BeeBee and Willy. In Willy’s yard, Choochoo looks up at Claudine.

Claudine says, OH, CHOOCHOO, I HAD A TERRIBLE NIGHT!

Willy says, AH! CHOOCHOO, THANK MY YARN! BEEBEE! TAKE A WHIFF!

[Slide whistle]

Choochoo says, OOO-LALA GRAMPA WILLY! GET THIS FLOWER OFF ME!

Willy says, WOO! BOUNCING YARN BALLS! IT DIDN'T WORK! WHAT IN THE WOOL ARE WE GOING TO DO!? OH! I KNOW! BEEBEE, JUMP UP AND DOWN! THAT'LL MAKE THE POLLEN FALL OFF AND TURN YOU BACK INTO... BEEBEE!

[Slide whistles, upbeat music plays]

BeeBee says, HOP! HEY, GRAMPA? WHAT'S POLLEN ANYWAY?

Willy says, IT'S THE LITTLE YELLOW POWDER INSIDE FLOWERS. COME ON, BEEBEE! JUMP! JUMP!

[Slide whistles, music stops]

Claudine says, SAY, WILLY! COULD YOU PLEASE MAKE A LITTLE LESS NOISE? MAY I REMIND YOU I DIDN'T SLEEP VERY WELL LAST NIGHT. I HAD A FROG STUCK IN MY ROOTS, AND IT SANG ALL NIGHT LONG.

Willy says, OH! A FROG? WOO, SWEET TADPOLE! OF COURSE! WE'LL ASK AUNTIE FROGGIE FOR HELP!

Claudine says, NO NEED TO THANK MEEEE!

[Content sighing, bee buzzing, tense music plays]

Willy and BeeBee run down a hill. The bee arrives, and Claudine glares at it. The bee hovers over the pollen, then follows BeeBee and Willy. Beneath the purple sky, Willy and BeeBee walk past the woods.

BeeBee says, AH... GRAMPA? CAN YOU KEEP TEACHING ME ABOUT NATURE?

Willy says, HUH, YES... YES, YES, OF COURSE! BUT... WHILE WE WALK, QUICKLY!

BeeBee says, GRAMPA! WAIT! WHAT'S THIS? IS IT A BEAR!?

[Slide whistles, upbeat music plays]

BeeBee looks at a hedgehog on a log.

Willy says, NO, BEEBEE, THAT CAN'T BE A BEAR! BEARS DON'T HAVE QUILLS!

[Slide whistle, hedgehog snoring softly]

BeeBee says, MAYBE IT'S A NEW KIND OF BEAR...

[Slide whistle]

Willy says, YES, YES OF COURSE... BUT... NO! THAT'S NOT A BEAR! IT'S A HEDGEHOG... I THINK... UNLESS... UH, I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE! COME ON! WE NEED TO HURRY AND GET TO AUNTY FROGGIE'S!

[Slide whistle]

BeeBee says, YUP! AND MAYBE THAT PRETTY BUTTERFLY CAN COME WITH US!

Willy says, WHAT BUTTERFLY?

BeeBee says, WELL, THAT ONE!

[Buzzing, slide whistle]

BeeBee points at the bee behind them.

Willy says, UH... BEEBEE? HOW ABOUT WE WALK BACKWARDS TO AUNTIE FROGGIE'S.

[Slide whistle]

BeeBee says, AH, YEAH! I LOVE WALKING BACKWARDS.

Willy says, SHHT! WE'LL GO QUIETLY, WITHOUT ANY SUDDEN MOVEMENTS...

[Buzzing, tense music plays]

Willy and BeeBee walk backward, and the bee follows them.

BeeBee says, THAT WAY WE CAN WATCH THAT CUTE LITTLE BUTTERFLY!

Willy says, BEEBEE... ER, THAT'S NOT REALLY A BUTTERFLY. IT'S A BEE! WE'LL KEEP WALKING THIS WAY TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T FOLLOW US...

BeeBee asks, BUT WHY CAN'T IT FOLLOW US, GRAMPA?

[Tense music plays]

Willy replies, BECAUSE BEES LOVE TO BOTHER FLOWERS, AND I DON'T WANT IT TO BOTHER....

[Willy screaming, buzzing, slide whistles, cymbals crashing, rustling]

Willy and BeeBee tumble down a hill and fall into a patch of purple flowers. The bee flies past them.

Willy says, BEEBEE?! BEEBEE?!! WOO! BLOOMING BLOSSOMS, WHERE ARE YOU!? BEEBEE? AH! THERE YOU ARE!

[Rustling, tense music plays]

Willy picks up a purple flower, wearing BeeBee’s hat.

Willy says, OH! HURRY! HAAA!

[Buzzing]

At Auntie Froggie’s stump, frogs sit on lily pads in the water. A log leads from the shore to the entrance of the stump.

Inside the stump, Auntie Froggie looks at a potted flower.

She says, RIBBIT. RHOOO... I FORGOT TO LABEL MY FLOWERS AGAIN. I DON'T KNOW WHICH IS WHICH...

[Sniffing]

Auntie Froggie says, MMM... A ROSEBUSH?

[Sniffing]

Auntie Froggie says, OUCH! THAT'S A ROSE...

[Slide whistle, exciting music plays]

Willy enters with the flower. Auntie Froggie jumps down from the ceiling and lands beside him.

Willy says, AUNTIE! YOU NEED TO HELP US! BEEBEE TURNED INTO A FLOWER, AND YOU NEED TO TRANSFORM HIM BACK INTO BEEBEE!

Auntie Froggie says, YES... I HAVE EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED...

[Clattering, slide whistle, bubbling]

Auntie Froggie retrieves a bowl with blue liquid.

Auntie Froggie says, THIS IS A LITTLE MIXTURE OF HONEY, SPINACH AND SARDINES.

[Laughing, splashing, slide whistle, upbeat music plays]

She throws the mixture onto the flower.

Willy says, YOU THINK IT'LL WORK, AUNTIE?

[Bubbling]

Auntie Froggie says, MMM NO... IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR LITTLE BEEBEE WANTS TO REMAIN A FLOWER.

Willy says, OH! SWEET BALL OF YARN! THIS IS ALL MY FAULT!

Auntie Froggie says, WELL, WELL, WILLY, IT'S NOT SO BAD! HE'S A VERY PRETTY FLOWER AFTER ALL! AREN'T YOU, BEEBEE?

[Rustling]

Auntie Froggie pets the petals of the flower. Willy raises an eyebrow and pets a different petal.

Willy says, POOF-POOF?! BUT BEEBEE DOESN'T GO POOF-POOF! HE GOES...

[Knocking]

Willy says, EXACTLY! HE GOES KNOCK-KNOCK! HUH?

[Door creaking]

Willy opens the door, and BeeBee stands outside.

BeeBee says, GRAMPA! YOU FORGOT ME!

Willy says, BEEBEE? WHOO-OOO-OOO, LITTLE BEEBEE!!!

[Slide whistles, upbeat music plays]

Willy takes BeeBee inside and puts the other flower outside. He takes the hat and puts it on BeeBee’s top petal.

Willy says, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING! THIS TIME, WE'VE GOT THE RIGHT BEEBEE!

[Bubbling]

Auntie Froggie says, OHHH...YES...THIS IS INDEED A "BEEBEETUS ADORABLEUS"...WE JUST NEED A BEE TO TAKE HIS POLLEN AND HE'LL BE BACK TO NORMAL IN NO TIME! RIBBIT!

BeeBee and Willy say, A BEE?!

[Panting, slide whistle, tense music plays]

Willy grabs BeeBee’s leaf and pulls him outside. They run across the log.

Willy says, AH! JUMP, BEEBEE, JUMP! IT'LL SHAKE OUT YOUR POLLEN AND ATTRACT THAT BEE!

[Slide whistles]

BeeBee jumps.

BeeBee says, BUT GRAMPA? WHY WILL IT ATTRACT THE BEE?

Willy says, BECAUSE BEES LOVE POLLEN SHOWERS!

[Upbeat music plays, slide whistle

Auntie Froggie says, NO, THAT'S NOT IT! IT'S BECAUSE BEES LOVE TO EAT POLLEN! RIBBIT!

[Buzzing]

Willy says, THERE IT IS!

[Slide whistle, buzzing]

The bee flies to BeeBee.

BeeBee says, THERE YA GO, LITTLE BEE! YOU CAN EAT ALL THE POLLEN YOU WANT.

[Giggling, sneezing, triumphant music plays, laughing, slide whistles]

BeeBee transforms back into a gnome. He jumps around excitedly.

BeeBee says, YOU ARE JUST THE BEST AT TEACHING ABOUT NATURE, GRAMPA!

Willy says, YEAH, OF COURSE BEEBEE! I AM AN EXPERT!

[Upbeat music plays, slide whistle]

Auntie Froggie’s eyes twitch. At Claudine, the sky is blue, and the sun is high. BeeBee and Willy walk on the path to Claudine.

Willy says, AH! OUR LITTLE HIKE WENT PRETTY WELL AFTER ALL!

[Chuckling]

Willy says, THERE WAS REALLY NO NEED TO PANIC.

[Slide whistle]

BeeBee holds a bowl.

BeeBee says, HERE, CLAUDINE! WE BROUGHT YOU A LITTLE BIT OF HONEY TO PUT IN YOUR WARM MILK. IT'LL HELP YOU SLEEP.

Claudine says, MMM... THAT LOOKS DELICIOUS, BEEBEE.

[Slide whistle, upbeat music continues]

BeeBee throws the bowl of honey onto his hat and takes out two earplugs.

BeeBee says, AND HERE ARE SOME TINY LITTLE EARPLUGS GRAMPA AND I KNITTED, SO THAT THE FROG WON'T KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT ANYMORE.

Claudine says, OOOH! THANK YOU BEEBEE! YOU LEARNED A LOT ON YOUR WALK WITH YOUR GRAMPA.

[Slide whistles]

BeeBee jumps excitedly.

BeeBee says, YUP! AND TOMORROW, WE'RE GOING BACK INTO THE WOODS TO LEARN EVEN MORE STUFF! RIGHT GRAMPA!?

[Slide whistle, rustling]

Willy tumbles backwards down the hill. The red cardboard theatre curtains close.

Marco narrates, I THINK GRAMPA WILLY WILL BE TOO TIRED TO GO ON ANOTHER ADVENTURE.

[Thunking, upbeat music plays]

In the playroom, Lila and Marco move the cardboard theatre away from the Woollys, flowers, and Wowie.

Lila says, HEY MARCO, YOU'VE STOPPED SCRATCHING!

[Scratching]

Marco scratches his wrist.

Marco says, OH NO! I'M STILL ITCHY! WHY'D YOU HAVE TO REMIND ME?

Lila says, LET'S GO SEE MOM AND ASK HER TO GIVE YOU SOME CREAM FOR THAT. SOME SARDINE-FLAVOURED CREAM!

[Laughing]

[Upbeat music plays]
