DESCRIPTION: The Woollys, knitted woollen gnomes, walk behind a wool hedge.

LILA SINGS: Have you ever seen?

GRANDPA WILLY: What?

LILA SINGS: Playing in the sun?

GRAMMA JOSIE: Who?

LILA SINGS: Tiny Woolly Woollys?

WOOLLY: Hey!

LILA SINGS: Out there having fun?

WOOLLYS SHOUT: Woolly Woolly!!!

DESCRIPTION: BeeBee is a small woolly with a tall yellow hat.

BEEBEE: Hey there!

LILA SINGS: Choochoo, Pirouette?

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo wears a pink bowtie and hat. Pirouette wears a yellow hat and has pink hair.

CHOOCHOO AND PIROUETTE: Hey!

LILA SINGS: Josie and Willy?

DESCRIPTION: Josie wears a red hat and has white hair. Willy has a red hat and a bushy white beard. The Woollys walk over a mountain. BeeBee holds an umbrella, and Pirouette rides a llama.

JOSIE AND WILLY: Woo hoo!

LILA SINGS: In their lovely tree, they're so full of charm.

WILLY SINGS: Like a sweet ball of yarn!

WOOLLYS SHOUT: Woolly Woolly!!!

[Everyone laughs, upbeat music plays]

[Lila laughs, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In a playroom, Lila plays with Woollys while Marco draws.

LILA: Ooh-lala! I feel all squishy today! Squish, squish!

LILA, IN A DEEP VOICE: And I keep getting all tied up! Boing, boing!

DESCRIPTION: Marco takes a Woolly from Lila.

MARCO: Lila, stop it! You'll break them!

LILA: No, I won't. Look! They're made of wool! They're invincible!

[Rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Marco and Lila move the toys and pile Woollys in the centre of the room.

MARCO: Wool is fragile; you can damage it! I'll show you. Let's play with the Woollys, but gently. We'll need Beebee, Josie, Bob and Bobbin from the Wool Patrol...

LILA: Choochoo, Pirouette and... the Wowiewoo!

MARCO: To make our adventure more WOO!

[Theatre thuds]

DESCRIPTION: Lila and Marco move a cardboard theatre featuring drawings of Woollys and red curtains in front of the pile of Woollys. The cardboard curtains slide open.

[Harp chords play, curtains rustle]

LILA NARRATES: Josie and Beebee had just picked up a tiny snack at the ice-cream shop...

[Slurp, Beebee hums, footsteps rustle, Beebee giggles, birds chirp, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In an animation, Beebee holds an ice cream cone and runs ahead of Josie on a path.

JOSIE: Please be careful not to drop your ice cream, Beebee!

[Beebee grunts, jumps boing]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee jumps from mushroom to mushroom.

BEEBEE: Don't worry, Gramma! I'm super careful. Look!

[Ice cream splats, the music stops]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee jumps onto a mushroom, and his ice cream falls onto a smaller mushroom.

BEEBEE: Oh...

[Birds chirp, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Josie runs to the small mushroom.

JOSIE: Oh, that's a shame...But I know exactly what we need to clean this mushroom! A lot of soap, some very hot water, then we rinse and scrub and ring it out vigorously!

[Bobbin and Bob laugh, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Nearby, two flowers move, and Bob and Bobbin peek out from behind them.

BOBBIN: Wait! Stop!

BOB: Oh no, stop right there! Hello, friends! We appreciate that you want to clean this mushroom, but...

[Dramatic music notes play]

BOBBIN: You were about to make a big mistake! Do you know what it was?

DESCRIPTION: Beebee raises his hand.

BOBBIN: Yes, you, little one?

BEEBEE: Were we going to clean the mushroom the wrong way?

[Triumphant music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Bobbin takes out her accordion, and Bob takes out his guitar.

BOBBIN: Exactly! Now... listen and learn!

BOB: One, two... And one, two, three, four!

[Upbeat music plays]

BOB SINGS: When you groom a…

BOBBIN SINGS: Fine mushroomy.

BOB SINGS: It will be happy…

BOB SINGS: Scented soap and…

BOBBIN SINGS: Freshest water.

BOTH SING: Gently wipe away!

[The music stops, birds chirp]

BOBBIN: Young sir, to congratulate you for spotting the worrisome washing problem...

BOB: We would like to make you an honorary member of the Wool Squad! Here!

[Triumphant music plays, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Bob lifts his hat and takes out a pink paperclip.

BEEBEE: Whoa! What is this strange Wowie thingy?

[Chime]

BOBBIN: It's a musical triangle...

[Hat rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Bobbin lifts her hat, and Bob takes a triangle beater.

BOB: In case you ever need our help protecting nature!

[Triangle dings]

DESCRIPTION: Bob taps the triangle with the triangle beater.

BEEBEE: Wowie, thanks! I'm going on patrol right now! See you later, Gramma!

[Happy music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee rolls off the mushroom and runs across the grass, holding the triangle and triangle beater.

[The music stops, birds sing]

BOBBIN: And it's time for us to get back to on our patrol. Ready, Bob?

BOB: Ready, Bobbin!

BOBBIN: One, two... And one, two, three, four!

[Upbeat music plays]

BOB SINGS: When you groom a…

BOBBIN SINGS: Fine mushroomy.

BOB SINGS: It will be happy…

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin leave.

BOB SINGS: Scented soap and…

BOBBIN SINGS: Freshest water.

BOTH SING: Gently wipe away!

[The music stops, birds sing]

DESCRIPTION: Josie puts the small mushroom in her hat and carries it away.

JOSIE: Oh! It looks like they forgot about you... Don't worry. I'll get what I need to clean you right up!

[Light music plays]

JOSIE SINGS: When you groom a nice mushroomy, it will be...something something...La-la-la-la-la-la-la...

[Upbeat music plays, slide whistle, birds sing, jump boings, tense music plays, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: In a field, Beebee jumps on top of a mushroom and looks around with narrowed eyes. He jumps off the mushroom and wakes a porcupine that was napping beside the mushroom.

BEEBEE: Be careful not to damage anything with those quills. I'm watching you...

[Footsteps rustle, grass rustles, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The porcupine walks away. Beebee walks to the top of a tree and watches Pirouette flatten tangled grass.

BEEBEE: Uh, uh, uh! Oh no, Pirouette! That is something you must not do!

PIROUETTE: I'm not doing anything wrong, I'm just softening the ground so I can do gymnastics.

[Grass rustles, triangle rings, siren-like music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Pirouette flattens the grass, and Beebee hits the triangle. Bobbin and Bob pop up in the grass.

BOBBIN: What's going on here?

[Discordant music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee points his triangle beater at Pirouette.

BOB: Uh, uh, uh! We mustn't damage the grass!

[Sad notes play, birds chirp]

BOBBIN: Congratulations, Beebee! You warned us in the nick of time! Ready, Bob?

BOB: Ready, Bobbin!

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin get out their instruments.

BOBBIN: One, two... And one, two, three, four!

[Upbeat music plays]

BOB SINGS: Little Woollys

BOBBIN AND BOB SING: Made of sheep wool…

BOB SINGS: Soft as clouds.

BOBBIN AND BOB SING: And so silky…

BOB SINGS: We are fuzzy…

BOBBIN AND BOB SING: Little people…

DESCRIPTION: In the grass, Pirouette watches Bob and Bobbin with narrowed eyes. Her shoulders slump.

BOB SINGS: Happy and…

BOBBIN AND BOB SING: Carefree!

[Light music plays, whoosh, splash]

DESCRIPTION: On the path, Josie walks over a bridge over a stream. She attaches her hat to a string, lowers it, and fills it with water.

JOSIE SINGS: La-la-la-la. freshest water… Happy mushrooms… Are so clean. Ta-da-da-da, I don't know the rest...

[Footsteps rustle, flowers boing, the music stops, birds sing]

DESCRIPTION: Josie carries the water away from the stream. In a meadow, Choochoo picks flowers.

CHOOCHOO: One flower for Bally...One flower for Claudine...One flower for...

BEEBEE: Uh, uh, uh, Choochoo, stop!

CHOOCHOO: Oh, hello, Beebee! Here, a flower for you.

[Tense music plays]

BEEBEE: Sorry, pal.

[Light music plays, footsteps rustle, triangle rings, siren-like music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee hits the triangle.

BOBBIN: What's going on this time, assistant Beebee?

[Footsteps rustle, discordant music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee points at Choochoo and the flowers.

BOB: Oh! We have a serious picking problem here!

[Slide whistle, birds chirp, light music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo hides the flowers behind his back and steps in front of a wool stem left on the ground.

[Triumphant music notes play, birds chirp]

BOBBIN: Bravo, Beebee! As for you, young man, we have the perfect song for ya! Ready, Bob?

[Hats rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin get out their instruments.

BOB: Ready, Bobbin!

BOBBIN: One, two... And one, two, three, four!

[Upbeat music plays]

BOB SINGS: Tiny hole…

BOBBIN SINGS: Or big dropped stitches.

BOB SINGS: Pose no problem.

BOBBIN SINGS: Not at all.

BOB SINGS: Take a string of yarn…

BOBBIN SINGS: And fix it…

[Knitting needles click]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo knits on the flower stem.

BOBBIN AND BOB SING: We will have a ball!

[The music stops]

BEEBEE: Bravo! That was super!

[Happy music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin put their instruments under their hats.

BOBBIN: You're the super one, Beebee.

BOB: Bobbin, I think we've earned ourselves a little break!

BOBBIN: See you later, Beebee!

[Footsteps patter, birds sing, upbeat music plays, knitting needles click]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo stands beside the stem as Bob and Bobbin walk in one direction and Beebee leaves in the other.

CHOOCHOO SINGS: Tiny holes or big dropped stitches… pose no problem… not at all.

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee walks past a sign and watches Bob and Bobbin play their instruments and dance on a dark patch of green grass.

BOB SINGS: 3 steps forward…

BOBBIN SINGS: 3 steps backwards.

BOB SINGS: Make sure that you're…

BOBBIN SINGS: Stepping right.

BOB SINGS: Watch your step…

BOBBIN SINGS: And watch your partner.

BOTH SING: We can dance all night!

[Triangle rings, siren-like music plays, slide whistle]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee walks to the top of the sign and hits the triangle. Bob and Bobbin step out of the sign.

BOBBIN: Beebee? What is it this time?!

[Birds sing, sign scratches, tree rustles, discordant music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee turns the sign, which features two feet on grass with a red line through them. Bob and Bobbin look at the dark patch of grass, and a tree falls.

BEEBEE: Let me explain...

[Upbeat music plays]

BEEBEE SINGS: When you're dancing or you're prancing over wool that's on the ground. To protect it, just correct it. Put rugs all around!

[Sad music notes play, bird sings]

BOB: Thank you, Beebee! We have learned our lesson! Bobbin?

BOBBIN: Yes, Bob! It's time to fix this mess we've made.

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Bob retracts his limbs and turns into a ball, and Bobbin rolls him over the dark green grass.

BOB SINGS: When you're dancing.

BOBBIN SINGS: Or you're prancing.

BOB SINGS: Over wool that's…

BOBBIN SINGS: On the ground.

BOB SINGS: To protect it…

BOBBIN SINGS: Just correct it.

DESCRIPTION: Beside Claudine, Josie cleans the mushroom.

JOSIE SINGS: When you groom a nice mushroomy, it will be hap...

[The music stops, birds sing]

JOSIE: Oh! This song is helpful to remember what you need to do, but... It's a little annoying.

[Hat rustles, water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Josie pours water out of her hat onto the mushroom.

JOSIE SINGS: Happy today.

DESCRIPTION: In the woods, Beebee looks under mushrooms.

BEEBEE SINGS: La-la-la-la! La-la-la-la!

[Footsteps rustle, birds chirp, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee discovers a fluffy white sheep.

BEEBEE: Oh! Wow! You are so pretty! Bob and Bobbin absolutely need to see you!

[Jump boings, triangle rings]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee stands on the sheep and hits the triangle.

BEEBEE: What could be holding them up?!

[Triangle rings, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin walk on a path and play their instruments.

BOB SINGS: When you're dancing…

BOBBIN SINGS: Or you're prancing…

BOB SINGS: Over wool that's…

BOBBIN SINGS: On the ground.

BOB SINGS: To protect it…

BOBBIN SINGS: Just correct it.

BOTH SING: Put rugs all around!

[Footsteps patter, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In the woods, the sheep follows Beebee.

BEEBEE: Follow me, we'll go find them instead!

[Branch cracks, slide whistle]

DESCRIPTION: The sheep follows Beebee, and they break branches and knock over a mushroom. As they walk, leaves, a stick, and grass tangle in the sheep’s wool. At the foot of Claudine’s hill, Josie carries the clean small mushroom.

JOSIE: Ah!

JOSIE SINGS: Scented soap and freshest water, gently wipe away!

[Birds sing, birds chirp, the music stops]

JOSIE: Ah, now! Where can I hang you to dry?

[Footsteps patter]

BEEBEE: Gramma, Gramma! Have you seen Bob and Bobbin? I want to show them the nicest wool in the world. It's on this sheep right here!

JOSIE: Oh? Are you sure this is the right sheep, Beebee?

BEEBEE: Of course! Look, it's all...

[Sad notes play, wool rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee picks leaves off the sheep.

BEEBEE: Dirty! He must have gotten dirty while we were going through the woods, the fields and the tiny path with all the bushes! It's all my fault. I was supposed to protect its wool, but I damaged it instead! I need to call Bob and Bobbin...

[Sad notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee stands on the sheep and takes out the triangle and the beater.

BEEBEE: But what are they going to say when they see that all of this is my fault? I won't be able to be their assistant anymore!

[Birds chirp, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee walks to Josie and stands on her hat. He jumps down and takes out the triangle and the beater.

BEEBEE: But if I don't call them, I will be a terrible assistant, because I didn't call them! Ah... Ah, well...I hope at least they'll sing me a nice song.

[Triangle rings, siren-like music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin appear from behind a pink flower.

BOB: What is going...Whoa!

[Flower rustles]

BOBBIN: Lookie here, Bob! What we have here is an extreme case of sheep wool neglect!

[Bob claps]

BOB: Once again, bravo, Beebee! You did the right thing calling us!

BOBBIN: Where is the individual responsible for this carelessness?

BEEBEE: It's me...

[Thump, rustle, sad music plays, wools rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee offers the triangle to Bob. Behind them, Josie ties a drying line to the pink flower.

BOB: Oh... Please keep it, Beebee, you're still an incredible assistant.

BEEBEE: But... I made a really big mistake.

BOBBIN: It's okay, Beebee. We all make mistakes!

JOSIE: If you don't want it, I'll gladly take it!

[Giggles, footsteps rustle, birds sing, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Josie takes the triangle and uses it to clip the small mushroom to the drying line. She walks to the sheep.

JOSIE: Now, if you'll excuse us, I'll show Beebee how to clean this big, dirty sheep.

MARCO NARRATES: Josie had become really good at cleaning... while singing!

DESCRIPTION: Josie picks the leaves, grass, and sticks off the sheep.

JOSIE SINGS: Scented soap and freshest water, let it dry nice in the wind. Then your wool will be so pretty, fluffy little friend!

[Footsteps rustle, curtains rustle, upbeat music plays, theatre thuds]

DESCRIPTION: Beebee follows Josie and the sheep. In the playroom, the theatre curtains close. Lila and Marco put the theatre against a wall.

LILA: Okay, point made, Marco. I'll be more careful while playing with our Woollys from now on.

MARCO: Good, or else we'll get a visit from the Wool Patrol!

[Giggles, upbeat music plays]
