[Toy clicks]

LILA: Oh, he went to play outside.

MARCO: I wonder what he gets up to when he goes outside...

[Toys rattle]

LILA: Let's play with the Woollys while we wait for him! We'll need Willy, Choochoo...

[Wool sheep rustle]

MARCO: And lots of sheep!

[Lila giggles]

LILA: Hey sheep, watch out! You need to make room for the Wowie Woo!

[Theatre thuds]

[Harp chords play]

MARCO: So our adventure can be a little more WOO!

[Curtains rustle, birds chirp, gentle music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In an animation, Choochoo walks up the path to Claudine.

LILA NARRATES: It was morning time, but Choochoo was still a little sleepy...

[Choochoo yawns, footsteps rustle]

CLAUDINE: Hello, Choochoo! Oh! Did you wake up on the wrong side of the trunk? Your bow tie is upside down!

CHOOCHOO: Ooh-lala, yes.

[Bowtie creaks]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo turns his bowtie.

[The music stops]

CHOOCHOO: I did not get enough sleep. The sheep were baaing all night long...

[Choochoo thuds, snores, gentle music plays, door slams]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo falls to the ground and sleeps. Willy exits Claudine, pushing a wheelbarrow.

CLAUDINE: Oh, poor, poor Choochoo. I also have trouble sleeping. There are a couple of owls who spend their nights...

[Wheels squeak]

DESCRIPTION: Willy pushes the wheelbarrow back with a tomato inside. He stops and walks to Choochoo.

WILLY: Sweet tiny Woolly! What are you doing on the ground, dear Choochoo?

[Birds chirp, Choochoo yawns]

CHOOCHOO: Huh? I am on the ground because I did not get enough sleep. The sheep were baaing all night long...eh?

[Choochoo snores, gentle music plays, wheelbarrow squeaks, Choochoo grumbles]

DESCRIPTION: Willy dumps the tomato on the ground and scoops Choochoo up in the wheelbarrow

WILLY: Oh, really? But I didn't hear a thing! Oh, they were probably baaing because of their shelter. It's much too small for them. It's time I made it bigger! Come help me, my boy; it will wake you up.

[Sheep bleat, upbeat music plays, wheelbarrow squeaks, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: In a pasture, Willy pushes the wheelbarrow full of wool planks to his flock of sheep.

WILLY: There, there, my lovelies! We are going to build you all a brand-new shelter.

CHOOCHOO: Say, Grampa Willy, can we take a little nap first?

[Wind gusts, rhythmic music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The Wowie Woo feather lands on top of the stack of planks.

WILLY: A nap?! Oh, no, no, no! We need to build the shelter first. Then we can take a nap!

[Sheep bleat]

DESCRIPTION: The sheep stand in a row in front of the feather.

WILLY: Oh! What in the wool is this Wowie thingy?

[Chimes, Choochoo snores]

WILLY: A bird? Don't stay here! You're getting the sheep all riled up! Go on! Get! Get! Shoo! Shoo! Fly away!

[Planks thud, Choochoo thuds, wind gusts, gentle music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Willy shakes the wheelbarrow, and the planks and the feather fall. The wind blows the feather, and the sheep follow it. Choochoo sleeps on the grass.

WILLY: Well, it can't hurt to take just a tiny little nap.

[Choochoo mumbles, footsteps rustle, wing blows, sheep bleat, Willy yawns, snores]

DESCRIPTION: Willy covers Choochoo with a blanket and climbs into the wheelbarrow. Sheep jump over him.

WILLY: Uh? Sweet sassy sheep, where is that sheep going? A second one! Three sheep! Four sheep! Five shee...

[Snores, sheep boings, Willy yawns, gentle music plays, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: A sheep walks through an opening in the fence, and a strand of their wool gets snagged on a post. Later, Willy awakens and stretches.

WILLY: What an absolutely lovely nap...

[Footsteps rustle]

WILLY: Sweet sassy string! My sheep! Choochoo! Choochoo! The sheep! They vanished!

[Footsteps rustle, plank thuds]

DESCRIPTION: Willy knocks a plank to the ground and runs across the grass.

CHOOCHOO: Huh? What? Ooh-lala! Where did they go?!

WILLY: Sweet tiny sheep! They must have left while we were sleeping...

[Slide whistle, tense music plays, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Willy walks across the pasture and trips on the strand of wool.

WILLY: Oh! Uh?!

CHOOCHOO: What is this string dragging on the ground?

WILLY: Mmm... It looks like one of the sheep got its wool stuck here and started to unravel. Choochoo, if we follow it, we'll find the sheep!

[Slide whistle, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Willy follows the string around a plank in the fence.

CHOOCHOO: And I will make myself a nice little yarn ball...

[Wool rustles, upbeat music plays, slide whistle, sheep boing, wool rattles, wind blows, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo rolls the yarn into a ball as he walks. Elsewhere, the sheep follow the feather, jumping over a mushroom in a field. The last sheep leaves a trail of wool as their fleece unravels. The feather blows up a hill, and the flock follows. The feather blows over the hilltop. By the mushroom, Choochoo runs behind Willy and gathers the wool into his yarn ball. He pushes the large ball up the hill.

WILLY: Oh! They must have stopped at the top of this hill. Sweet crinkled curler! What happened here?

[Footsteps rustle, the music stops]

DESCRIPTION: The yarn circles the tree and flowers at the top of the hill.

CHOOCHOO: How did those sheep make such a mess?!

WILLY: Choochoo, we should cut it, and you can start making a new ball!

[Jump rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo jumps in place and then stands on the ball.

CHOOCHOO: Ooh-lala, certainly not! I want to complete this ball without cutting the string!

[Yarn rattles, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The yarn ball rolls back down the hill, and Willy chases it.

WILLY: Choochoo! Your yarn ball!

[Willy pants, wool rustles]

DESCRIPTION: On the hilltop, Choochoo untangles yarn on the tree. Willy pushes the yarn ball up the hill.

WILLY: Oh! I'm getting too old for this! Oh! Choochoo, you best hold on to it, unless you want it to roll away again.

[Slide whistle, flower rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo picks a flower, and the yarn ball rolls forward down the other side of the hill. Choochoo drops the flower.

CHOOCHOO: My yarn ball!

WILLY: Again?!

[Upbeat music plays, slide whistle, wool rattles]

The sheep’s fleece unravels as they walk. Near a rainbow, three Woonicorns play with the yarn.

VIRGINIA: Okay, Nadege, this time let's try to turn the rope at the same time!

A WOONICORN WITH A GREEN HORN: Uh uh! I'm trying to jump rope, not trip on it!

NADEGE: Well, it's not my fault! My mane was in my eyes!

VIRGINIA: Okay, let's go again...

[Yarn ball thuds]

DESCRIPTION: The yarn ball hits Virginia.

VIRGINIA: Ouch!

[Yarn rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Willy and Choochoo roll the yarn ball over part of the yarn the Woonicorns were using.

WILLY: Pardon me, excuse us! We're just gathering up our yarn, thanks!

NADEGE: Hey! That's our jump rope, you can't just take it!

CHOOCHOO: But it cannot be your jump rope! That string belongs to my ball of yarn!

THE WOONICORN WITH A GREEN HORN: Then we just need to cut some off so we can keep playing.

[Gentle music plays]

CHOOCHOO: Please no! I want to make the biggest possible ball of yarn without cutting the string.

VIRGINIA: Wow, great idea! We'll give you your string back. But you need to find us another jump rope.

NADEGE: It would be super awesome to make our new jump rope with yarn from your bow tie. It's so pretty.

[Bowtie chimes, birds chirp, jumps boing, sheep bleat, upbeat music plays, wool rattles, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: The three Woonicorns hover in front of Choochoo and stare at the bowtie. Elsewhere, the feather blows over carrots, and the sheep follow, jumping from carrot to carrot. In a stream, the peacock feather sticks to a swan’s wing, and the sheep jump from lily pad to lily pad following the bird. The sheep follow the feather into the snowy mountains. The last sheep has lost nearly all their wool. Willy and Choochoo follow behind, with Choochoo rolling the yarn ball.

WILLY: Sweet sassy string! I wonder why my sheep are straying so far from home...

[Footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo pushes the yarn ball up a snowy hill.

CHOOCHOO: And I wonder when I will be able to knit myself a brand-new bow tie...

WILLY: Ah! I bet you they're following that strange bird that I shooed away earlier!

[Footsteps rustle, upbeat music plays]

WILLY: Oh! Say, Choochoo, isn't that your little Snowlly buddy?

[Snowball rustles, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Bally, a Snowlly who wears an orange hat and an orange scarf, pushes a large snowball.

CHOOCHOO: Uh? Yes, it is he! Bally!

BALLY: Hey, Choochoo, my pally!

[Bally laughs]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo and Bally hug.

BALLY: How are you, Choochoo?

CHOOCHOO: Very well. And how are you, Bally?

[Footsteps rustle]

BALLY: Very well.

WILLY: Haha! Yes, it looks like everyone here is very well. Great! Now, come along, my boy. We need to catch up to my herd of sheep.

CHOOCHOO: Ooh-lala, yes, of course! See you later, Bally!

BALLY: See you later, Choochoo.

[Light music plays, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo and Bally hug. Bally pushes Choochoo’s yarn ball one way, and Choochoo pushes the snowball the other way, up a steep hill.

WILLY: See you later, Bally! I really like your friend, Choochoo. Usually I don't trust Snowllys, but Bally is really very sweet!

CHOOCHOO: Oh yes, he is a very good friend.

[Footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: At the top of a hill, Willy and Choochoo stop.

WILLY: Sweet sassy string! Where is our string?

CHOOCHOO: Huh?

WILLY: Sweet chilly ice cube! This isn't our yarn, it's Bally's snowball!

CHOOCHOO: Ooh-lala! I have to get my yarn ball back!

WILLY: And I need to get my sheep!

[Footsteps rustle, upbeat music plays, wind blows, wool rattles, sheep bleat, wool snaps]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo pushes the snowball back down the hill. The wind blows the feather across a grassy field, and the sheep follow it. The last sheep reaches the end of their fleece, and the wool breaks. In the snow, Bally pulls on the strand of yarn towards him.

BALLY: Huh? What is this?! Is my snowball getting unknit or something? Huh?

WILLY: Sweet sassy string, Bally! Which way was the string going?

[Light music plays, footsteps rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Bally climbs on top of the yarn ball. He looks around and then points towards the field.

BALLY: Mmm... that way.

[Snowball rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Willy pushes the snowball towards Bally.

WILLY: Thank you! Oh! Here's your snowball!

CHOOCHOO: And this, this is my yarn ball! Thank you, Bally!

[Footsteps rustle]

BALLY: My pleasure, pally!

[Bally laughs, upbeat music plays, sheep bleat]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo pushes the yarn ball onto the grassy field. Willy walks in front of him.

WILLY: My sheep!

[Sheep bleat, wind gusts]

DESCRIPTION: Willy and Choochoo’s hats poke through the top of the tall grass. They emerge and find the sheep gathered around a tall pink flower with the feather on top.

WILLY: My dear little ones, I've found you at last! Oh! There's that strange bird! And it looks like it's stuck... Come and give me a hand, please and thank you.

[Sheep bleat, slide whistle, jump boings, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Willy stands on a stack of sheep and looks at the feather. The fleece-free sheep stands on the top, beneath Willy’s feet.

WILLY: Sweet ball of yarn! You're not a bird! You're a strange feather thingy.

[Sheep bleat, feather whooshes]

DESCRIPTION: Willy picks up the feather, and the stack of sheep moves closer.

WILLY: And you sheep followed it!

[Sheep bleat, footsteps rustle, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Willy carries the feather, and the sheep follow him.

WILLY: Come along, all of you, we're off!

MARCO NARRATES: Choochoo worked really hard to finish his yarn ball without cutting the string!

[Birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: The fleece-free sheep stands on the yarn ball.

WILLY: Uh...Tell me, Choochoo, what are you going to knit with all that yarn?

CHOOCHOO: I'm going to help you knit a bigger shelter for the sheep. And if there is some yarn leftover, maybe a new bow tie!

[Sheep bleat]

DESCRIPTION: Choochoo pushes the yarn ball towards Claudine, and Willy and the sheep follow him.

[Curtains rustle, light music plays, cat meows]

DESCRIPTION: In the playroom, the curtains of the theatre close.

LILA: That's Moustache! He's come back home!

[Theatre thuds]

DESCRIPTION: Lila and Marco put the theatre against the wall.

MARCO: Oh, I'm gonna ask him what he was up to!

[Moustache meows]

LILA: Haha! Yeah! And why he strayed so far from home! Haha!

[Lila laughs, upbeat music plays]
