MARCO: No, I'm done with drawings. Let's play with our Woollys. With Josie, Choochoo, Willy...

LILA: Alright, I'll add, Bob and Bobbin, and the Wowiewoo to make our story more...

MARCO: WOO!

LILA: The Woollys had just finished shearing the sheep and making bundles of wool...

The red curtains open, transporting the Woollys into Woollywood, an imaginary, whimsical world made entirely of wool. A knitted green landscape features flowers and a road. ChooChoo, Willy, and Josie walk down the road, holding tall piles of wool.

CHOOCHOO: Oohlala, Grampa Willy! We should have used the wheelbarrow!

JOSIE: Oh! Choochoo is right. We can't even see where we're going!

WILLY: Oh, and I've twisted my ankle! Ow! Ow! Ow!

[Distant sirens]

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin, two Woolly sheriffs, drive up beside Josie, Willy, and ChooChoo in a sleek, blue car.

[Alarm]

BOB: Howdy, Woollys! Did we hear someone mention a hole?

CHOOCHOO: Oohlala! What in the world is that Wowie thingy?

BOBBIN: This? This is our new Wool Patrol car!

DESCRIPTION: Bob taps the hood of the car.

BOB We use it to respond super fast to Woolmergencies!

BOBBIN: Woolmergencies like: holes!

WILLY: Well, there's one right here!

BOB: Well, well, well, indeed… I've seen holes like this at Farmer Frizzle's.

BOBBIN: We're off to patrol Woollywood to remind everyone that it's important to take care of the ground...

DESCRIPTION: Josie picks Willy up and holds him on her back.

CHOOCHOO: Of course, Gramma Josie, I will take care of it right away!

DESCRIPTION: ChooChoo takes knitting needles out of his hat and knits a net over the hole with pink yarn.

CHOOCHOO: This is perfect! Huh?

DESCRIPTION: ChooChoo spots another hole in the ground.

CHOOCHOO: Another hole?

DESCRIPTION: Later in the day, back at their home, Willy rocks in a pea rocking chair. Josie brings him a drink, a book, and an umbrella.

JOSIE: Of course, my dear Willy.

WILLY: Thank you, Josie!

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin park their car by the sheep pen.

BOBBIN: Good day, lovely sheep! Due to a sudden rise in the occurrence of holes in Woollywood...

BOB: ... We are here to remind you to take proper care of the ground.

BOB: Ready, Bobbin?

BOBBIN: Ready, Bob!

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin take a banjo and an accordion from under their hats.

BOB AND BOBBIN [sing]: A one, a two, and a one, two, three, four! When you're grazing on the hillside, make sure to be well aware, chew your breakfast, but don't chew fast, make sure to take care!

[Sheeps bleating]

CHOOCHOO: Oohlala, another hole! There are holes everywhere! This is serious… I wonder who could be making them…

DESCRIPTION: Later in the day, Josie pushes Willy around the garden in the wheelbarrow. There is an umbrella attached to the back of the wheelbarrow and Willy eats a cookie.

WILLY: You're quite right, Josie. This wheelbarrow is very practical! Hmm...

[Willy munching]

JOSIE: It is, isn't it?

[Josie strains]

WILLY: Oh! Go this way, dear. Oh! I want to see how my leaks are growing.

[Josie pants]

DESCRIPTION: Josie furrows her brows with effort.

JOSIE: Anything at all, my dear Willy!

WILLY: And after, I think I might want to go fishing!

DESCRIPTION: A little while later, Bob and Bobbin arrive in a bright pink valley. There are hills made of brightly coloured wool and sparkles on the ground. They talk to three Woonicorns: Virginia, Nadege, and Gerald.

BOB: Hello, Woonicorns! We're sure you know why we're here?

VIRGINIA: Uh... Yeah! I mean, totally! It's because Gerald unraveled the rainbow yesterday!

GERALD: I know, I know, I told you I was sorry! Anyway, I didn't do it on purpose, it was actually Nadege's fault!

NADEGE: What?! So not true!

DESCRIPTION: The three Woonicorns argue.

[Mayhem]

BOB: Calm down, calm down! We're not here to talk about rainbows...

BOBBIN: We're here about holes...Ready, Bob? A one, a two, a one, two, three, four!

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin take out their banjo and accordion and sing.

BOB AND BOBBIN [sing]: When your head is pirouetting, please be careful of your horn. If it gets caught in the fabric, the wool will be torn!

VIRGINIA: You two are such musical geniuses!

GERALD: I am such a big fan of your songs!

DESCRIPTION: Gerald flies down by Bobbin and accidentally sticks his horn through her hat.

NADEGE: Hey, Gerald! Be careful with your horn!

GERALD: What?!

DESCRIPTION: Gerald flies away, and Bobbin runs after him.

[Screaming]

VIRGINIA: Oh no, it's totally happening again!

BOB: Nobody move, nobody move!

NADEGE: Here we go all over again!

DESCRIPTION: Later that day, ChooChoo runs around a grassy field, knitting nets over different holes. Down by the river, Josie is helping Willy fish. She unhooks his lure from a lily pad on the water, then runs all the way across the river back to Willy, who is sitting in the wheelbarrow.

WILLY: Aw, sweet tiny sardine, thank you for detaching my hook from that tiny lily pad.

JOSIE: That's alright my dear Willy, I'll always be there for you.

DESCRIPTION: Josie frowns.

WILLY: You know, my darling, an ice-cold lemonade would really hit the spot right now…

DESCRIPTION: Josie frowns and falls back onto the ground.

[Thump]

DESCRIPTION: Josie slowly climbs back up onto her seat and sighs.

JOSIE: Aw… Of course, Willy…

DESCRIPTION: Josie slumps over and slowly walks away.

DESCRIPTION: Back in the Woonicorn village, ChooChoo knits up more holes. Bob and Bobbin’s blue car is sitting on a hill in the distance.

CHOOCHOO: I do hope there will not be any more holes, because I am running out of wool!

DESCRIPTION: At the top of the hill, Bob and Bobbin walk back to their car.ChooChoo approaches them.

BOB: Come with me, Bobbin, we'll fix your hat nice and quick.

BOBBIN: Oh, hello, Choochoo! What are you doing here?

CHOOCHOO: I am fixing holes.

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin applaud ChooChoo.

BOBBIN: And we do appreciate your help!

BOB: Choochoo, could you also help by pulling our car back?

CHOOCHOO: Of course!

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin get into their car as ChooChoo pulls the car back.

BOBBIN: Ready, Bob?

BOB: Release the car!

[Engine roaring]

[Alarm]

DESCRIPTION: In a cloud of smoke, Bob and Bobbin zoom down the hill and into the distance. Right in front of ChooChoo is a new hole.

CHOOCHOO: Oohlala! Another hole? Oh! Bob! Bobbin! Stop! Your car is making all the holes!

DESCRIPTION: ChooChoo races after the car.

DESCRIPTION: Back at the river, Willy is still fishing.

WILLY: Sweet lemony lemonade, what is Josie up to? Hmm… I should go and help, I've asked her to do so much for me today!

DESCRIPTION: Willy tries to get out of the wheelbarrow, but he winces when he steps on his foot.

WILLY: Ow! Oh! Aye! Ow! Ouch! Oh! Owie!

DESCRIPTION: Willy looks over to the side of the river, where the blue car is parked.

WILLY: Sweet tiny race car wheel, that's Bob and Bobbin's car!

DESCRIPTION: Willy takes his fishing rod and hooks the car. He pulls it towards him, revving it up.

WILLY: I'll just borrow it to go and help Josie with the lemonade.

DESCRIPTION: Before he can get in, the car zooms off.

[Engine roaring]

WILLY: Ouch! Sweet tiny…

DESCRIPTION: The car drives into the river.

[Splash]

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin walk together. Bobbin has a mushroom on her head.

BOBBIN: My mushroom hat is perfect!

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin stop near the edge of the river and look around.

BOB: Uh... Where in the wool is our car?

DESCRIPTION: With a tube around his waist, ChooChoo approaches Bob and Bobbin.

[ChooChoo panting]

CHOOCHOO: Bob... Bobbin… your car...

BOB: Yes! Do you know where it is?!

CHOOCHOO: Uh, sorry, no… But your car is making all the holes when it starts! You know…

DESCRIPTION: ChooChoo mimes starting the car and driving around.

[Mimicking car noises]

CHOOCHOO: Oh, a hole!

DESCRIPTION: With a tube around his waist as well, Willy limps over to Bob, Bobbin, and ChooChoo.

WILLY: Bob! Owie! Aye! Bobbin! Ouch! Aye! Aye! Aye! Your patrol car… I borrowed it, you see… My fishing rod… and then… Sploosh! Bye bye, car!

BOB: Well… Thank you, Willy!

WILLY: Huh?!

BOBBIN: You've rid us of that ground munching monstrosity!

BOB: And to thank you for helping us solve the hole problem…

DESCRIPTION: Bob and Bobbin pick up Willy and carry him away.

WILLY: Hey!

BOB: ... we'll help you back to your place!

CHOOCHOO: I am the one who solved the hole problem!

DESCRIPTION: Josie runs up next to ChooChoo. She has a picnic basket with her.

[Josie panting]

JOSIE: Hello, Choochoo. Eh… where's Willy?

CHOOCHOO: He has gone home, Gramma Josie.

JOSIE: Oh?! Ha! Well, then, will you join me for this lovely picnic? I have sandwiches and lemonade and some cheese with holes!

CHOOCHOO: Oh no, Gramma Josie. No more holes… please!

DESCRIPTION: A swan, a duck, and three frogs float in the car down the river.

The red curtains close on the cardboard theatre. In the playroom, Lila holds up Marco’s hands to show him the marker ink on his hands.

LILA: Hey, Marco! I solved this smudge problem! Look how dirty your hands are!

MARCO: Oops! I'll wash them right away, before the Wool Patrol arrives!
