A Woolly reads the episode title, "Night-night Woollys."
“Written by Emmanuel Linderer, Valerie Nardi.” "Storyboard by Geoffroy Moneyron.”
On the playroom floor, Marco and Lila kneel in front of a cardboard theatre, with red curtains and Woollys drawn on it in crayon. On the blue wall behind the theatre is a sun, clouds, and a tree made out of clay. Marco plays with a toy car on a racetrack.
[Marco imitates the purring of a car engine]
Marco says, HEY MISTER, HURRY, THE BIG RACE IS ABOUT TO START! BEEP! OH NO! THE SUPERFAST RACE CAR IS OUT OF GAS!
Suddenly, the lights turn off.
Marco says, LILA! TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON!
Lila says, OH, DAD ASKED ME TO TURN THEM OFF WHILE HE'S FIXING SOMETHING. LET'S PLAY WITH THE WOOLLYS UNTIL HE'S FINISHED!
Lila and Marco move the racetrack out of the way. They place Woollys in a pile in front of the cardboard theatre.
Marco says, OKAY, I'LL TAKE CHOOCHOO, BEEBEE AND PIROUETTE! HUH... WHERE ARE THEY? OH! THERE THEY ARE!
Lila says, LET'S ALSO ADD AUNTIE FROGGY AND HER LITTLE FROGS.
Marco says, WE'LL ALSO NEED A WOONICORN AND A SHEEP.
Lila adds a glow-in-the-dark toy to the pile.
Lila says, AND I'LL ADD THE WOWIEWOO HERE! THAT WAY OUR ADVENTURE WILL BE MORE WOO!
Lila and Marco take the cardboard theatre and set it onto the pile. The red curtains open and transport the Woollys into Woollywood, an imaginary, whimsical world made of wool. It is nighttime in the pond. The sky and pond glow purple, and fog rolls over the water. Frogs sit on lily pads that circle a house in the centre of the pond.
Marco says, IT WAS NIGHTTIME, AND AUNTIE FROGGY'S FROGS HADN'T STARTED TO SING YET!
Inside the house, Pirouette and BeeBee sit at a table.
Pirouette says, WOW! YOUR HOUSE IS AMAZING, AUNTIE FROGGY!
[BeeBee croaks like a frog]
[Pirouette laughs]
In the kitchen, Auntie Froggy stirs a massive cauldron that glows purple. ChooChoo sits beside Auntie Froggy and knits.
BeeBee says, I LOVE HAVING SLEEPOVERS AT YOUR HOUSE, AUNTIE!
Pirouette says, CAN THE FROGGIES HAVE A SLEEPOVER WITH US TOO?
[A frog croaks]
Pirouette and BeeBee chase a frog around the house.
ChooChoo says, NO, NO, NO! I DO NOT WANT TO SLEEP NEXT TO A FROG!
Auntie Froggy says, DON'T YOU WORRY, CHOOCHOO, THE FROGS SLEEP OUTSIDE. RIBBIT! WOULD YOU HAND ME SOME CAKE FLOWERS PLEASE?
Auntie Froggy says, RIBBIT!
[Frog croaks]
ChooChoo walks into the pantry, where BeeBee and Pirouette are playing with a frog. He takes a yellow flower off a shelf and brings it to Auntie Froggy.
Auntie Froggy says, WA! WA! NO, NOT THESE. I USE THESE TO MAKE THE FROGS SING. RIBBIT!
Auntie Froggy throws the yellow flower out of the window and into the pond.
[Frog croaks]
ChooChoo brings Auntie Froggy a pink flower next.
Auntie Froggy says, NO, NO, NO, THESE ARE BEARD GROWING FLOWERS. HEH! I DON'T THINK A BEARD WOULD SUIT YOU.
Auntie Froggy throws the pink flower out of the window. ChooChoo rubs his face.
ChooChoo says, WELL, THERE ARE NO OTHER FLOWERS, AUNTIE.
Auntie Froggy says, MMM… OH WELL, LET'S GO OUT AND PICK SOME. HEH! WE NEED TO PUT THEM IN OUR CAKE TO MAKE IT SMELL EXTRA GOOD.
ChooChoo opens the front door and stands outside. He quickly backs into the house.
ChooChoo says, BUT AUNTIE, IT IS VERY DARK OUTSIDE. ARE YOU SURE YOU REALLY NEED CAKE FLOWERS?
Auntie Froggy says, ABSOLUTELY!
Pirouette, BeeBee, and ChooChoo gather together as Auntie Froggy presents them with a large box.
Auntie Froggy says, WHY DON'T YOU CHOOSE SOME WARM CLOTHES, WHILE I GRAB MY JACKET?
Back in the kitchen, Auntie Froggy looks around for her jacket.
Auntie Froggy says, EH! NOW WHERE DID I PUT IT?
Pirouette, BeeBee, and ChooChoo say, WE'RE READY, AUNTIE!
Pirouette is dressed in a white ghost costume, with holes cut out for her eyes. ChooChoo is wearing a pumpkin costume with an orange body and a leafy orange hat. BeeBee is dressed like a wizard, with a purple robe and a tall, pointy purple hat. BeeBee pulls a blue, glowing star out of the box.
BeeBee says, WOAH! WHAT IS THIS WOWIE THINGY?! IS IT A HAT DECORATION?
Auntie Froggy says, NOT AT ALL! IT'S A STAR THAT GLOWS IN THE DARK. RIBBIT!
Pirouette, BeeBee, and ChooChoo say, WOAH...
Pirouette says, PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE! CAN WE TRY IT OUTSIDE?
Auntie Froggy says, UH YES, OF COURSE. GO ON AHEAD BUT STAY TOGETHER. I'LL CATCH UP ONCE I'VE FOUND MY JACKET. RIBBIT! OH... I HAVE A FEELING IT'S HIDING TO PLAY A PRANK ON ME.
A little while later, ChooChoo, Pirouette, and BeeBee walk on a path by the pond. BeeBee holds the glowing star high, as it shines brightly around them.
Pirouette says, WOAH! IT REALLY WORKS!
ChooChoo says, NOW WE HAVE SOME LIGHT SO WE CAN KNIT WHILE LISTENING TO THE FROGS SING!
BeeBee says, COME ON, LET'S GO SEE IF THE STAR SHINES OVER THERE TOO!
ChooChoo furrows his brows and says, BUT... WE NEED TO WAIT FOR AUNTIE FROGGY!
Pirouette says, UH-UH, SHE SAID SHE WOULD CATCH UP TO US. COME ON!
Pirouette and BeeBee run off, away from the house.
ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA, WAIT… WAIT FOR ME!
ChooChoo runs after them.
In a darker part of the pond, Pirouette, BeeBee, and ChooChoo run through tall reeds and trees. BeeBee holds the glowing star high in the air.
BeeBee says, HAHA! IT WORKS EVEN WHEN IT'S REALLY DARK OUT! HAHA!
ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA! YOU COULD WAIT FOR ME NEXT TIME! I CANNOT RUN FAST IN THIS OUTFIT!
BeeBee says, HEY, LOOK OVER THERE! THERE'S ANOTHER LIGHT!
BeeBee points to a far-away, dark bramble bush. Behind it is a bright, glowing light. BeeBee tosses the glowing star to Pirouette, as he and Pirouette run towards the light. ChooChoo is left alone in the dark.
ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA, PIROUETTE! WAIT FOR ME!
ChooChoo runs after them. The three friends run towards the glowing green bramble. Inside it, a green horn sticks out.
BeeBee says, NOW WE'LL HAVE EVEN MORE LIGHT!
BeeBee takes hold of the green horn and pulls. Out pops a Woonicorn!
[The Woonicorn, Pirouette, BeeBee, and ChooChoo scream]
The Woonicorn tosses BeeBee off of his horn.
[The Woonicorn grunts]
The Woonicorn says, I KNOW WHY YOU'RE HERE! YOU WIZARD, YOU GHOST, YOU PUMPKIN… YOU'VE COME TO STEAL MY GLOWING HORN, BECAUSE IT'S SO COOL!
Pirouette says, YOUR HORN IS VERY COOL, BUT WE'RE JUST OUT LOOKING FOR CAKE FLOWERS.
The Woonicorn smiles and says, OH REALLY?! ARE THEY TO MAKE A POTION OR SOMETHING?
Pirouette, ChooChoo, and BeeBee say, YES!
The Woonicorn says, FOLLOW ME, THEY'RE NOT FAR. I'LL LIGHT THE WAY WITH MY SUPER COOL, GLOWING HORN!
The Woonicorn flies away, and Pirouette, ChooChoo, and BeeBee follow him.
The Woonicorn says, YOU KNOW, I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU FOUND ME BECAUSE…
He looks at BeeBee.
The Woonicorn says, YOU, I ADORE YOUR LOOK!
He looks at Pirouette.
The Woonicorn says, YOU, YOU'RE LIKE THE CUTEST GHOST I'VE EVER SEEN!
Then, he looks at ChooChoo.
The Woonicorn says, AND YOU, I NEVER THOUGHT I'D EVER SEE A PUMPKIN WITH SUCH ELEGANT LEGS! YOUR FLOWERS ARE RIGHT THIS WAY!
The group approaches some dark, spikey brambles. The Woonicorn easily flies over its branches, but the bramble stops the Woollys.
BeeBee says, UM...SO, DO WE WAIT HERE?
ChooChoo says, NO. I KNOW HOW WOONICORNS WORK AND HE IS NOT COMING BACK. HE HAS PROBABLY FORGOTTEN US ALREADY…
Behind them, the Woonicorn smiles and flies away.
Pirouette says, I'VE BEEN TO THE CAKE FLOWER FIELD BEFORE. I'M SURE I CAN FIND IT AGAIN. I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHERE WE ARE…
Pirouette looks around.
ChooChoo frowns and says, OOH-LALA! I KNEW WE SHOULD HAVE WAITED FOR AUNTIE FROGGY!
BeeBee says, DON'T YOU WORRY! WE ARE RIGHT NEXT TO HER HOUSE. LISTEN, YOU CAN HEAR THE FROGGIES.
[Frogs croaking]
Suddenly, a fuzzy white bush grabs the glowing star in BeeBee’s hands and begins to pull. BeeBee holds on tight.
BeeBee says, HEY! A BUSH IS TRYING TO STEAL MY STAR!
The star goes flying and lands inside the white fuzzy bush, which dims the light.
[BeeBee laughs]
BeeBee says, THAT ISN'T A BUSH, THAT'S PHIL!
BeeBee turns the bush to reveal a sheep’s face.
BeeBee says, I RECOGNIZE HIM, HE LOVES CHEWING EVERYTHING! HAHA!
Phil runs away with the glowing star stuck in his wool.
Pirouette says, LOOK! HE'S GETTING AWAY!
ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA, HE MUST NOT GET AWAY WITH OUR LIGHT!
Pirouette, BeeBee, and ChooChoo chase after Phil the sheep. They follow Phil to a dark grove filled with flowers in the middle of the pitch black woods. Phil stops to chew on the flowers.
BeeBee says, PHIL! WAIT UP! I KNEW HE'D STOP SOON TO CHEW ON SOMETHING!
ChooChoo says, HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET OUR STAR BACK?
Pirouette says, EASY! HA!
Pirouette and BeeBee jump into Phil’s wool; they stick their heads all the way in and begin to search for the glowing star.
BeeBee says, I FOUND SOMETHING! OH… IT'S ALL SLIMY.
BeeBee pulls out a brown snail!
BeeBee says, A SNAIL! I'LL PUT HIM IN A BUSH. I THINK HE'LL LIKE IT BETTER THERE.
BeeBee places the snail on a nearby tree.
Pirouette says, I FOUND IT! HURRAY!
Pirouette pulls the glowing star out from Phil’s wool.
[Phil bleats]
BeeBee comes back with a stick.
BeeBee says, LOOK. WE CAN TIE THE STAR TO THIS AND THEN NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO CHEW ON IT.
BeeBee attaches the glowing star to the stick.
BeeBee says, TADAH! HAHA! AND, NOW WE CAN SEE EVEN BETTER!
The glowing star lights up the grove. Pirouette looks down to see that cake flowers surround them!
Pirouette says, EEE! THE CAKE FLOWERS! WE FOUND THEM! HAHA!
ChooChoo picks five cake flowers.
ChooChoo hurriedly says, I HAVE GATHERED ENOUGH, WE CAN GO HOME NOW. WHICH WAY DO WE GO, PIROUETTE?
Pirouette says, UM… I DON'T REALLY KNOW… BUT WE AREN'T TOO FAR, I STILL HEAR THE FROGS.
[Frogs croaking in the distance]
Pirouette says, THIS WAY MAYBE?
Pirouette, ChooChoo, and BeeBee begin to walk. ChooChoo stops and stares at a black figure in the distance, which has glowing eyes and sharp spikes.
ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA, NO! LOOK! A TERRIBLE SPIKED BUNNY!
Pirouette illuminates the dark figure with the star; she reveals that it is a small hedgehog sitting on a big, pink radish.
Pirouette says, NO, IT'S JUST A HEDGEHOG EATING A RADISH…
The three Woollys continue their walk. Suddenly, a massive dark figure appears; it stands tall with three spikes.
[BeeBee screams]
BeeBee says, AH! THERE! A GIANT HAND WITH THREE BIG CLAWS!
Pirouette once again illuminates the dark figure with the star; she reveals that it is just a tree.
Pirouette says, HAHA! YOU BOTH HAVE WAY TOO MUCH IMAGINATION...
ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA! OVER THERE!
ChooChoo points to a dark figure sitting on a lily pad.
ChooChoo says, IT IS A SCARY… AUNTIE FROGGY!
ChooChoo says, OH... AUNTIE! WE ARE HERE! LOOK AUNTIE, WE FOUND A BUNCH OF CAKE FLOWERS!
The glowing star illuminates the figure. It is not Auntie Froggy, it is just a big, purple frog.
[The purple frog croaks loudly]
[ChooChoo, BeeBee, and Pirouette scream]
The three Woollys run away! They run into a hole in a big tree.
Pirouette says, IT'S ALRIGHT, WE'RE SAFE IN HERE.
Suddenly, Auntie Froggy appears behind them!
Auntie Froggy says, RIBBIT! WHAT'S UP?
[ChooChoo, BeeBee, and Pirouette scream]
The three Woollys realize it is Auntie Froggy.
The three Woollys say, AUNTIE!
Auntie Froggy says, I THOUGHT YOU'D WAIT FOR ME IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE!
ChooChoo says, NOW THAT WE HAVE FOUND YOU AND THE FLOWERS, LET US HURRY BACK TO YOUR HOUSE, WE MUST BE SO FAR AWAY!
Auntie Froggy says, FAR?! HEH! NOT AT ALL, KIDS! IT'S RIGHT HERE!
Auntie Froggy points to her house, which is right beside them!
[The four Woollys laugh]
Pirouette, ChooChoo, and BeeBee all smile and jump around.
ChooChoo says, OH GOOD!
BeeBee says, YEAH!
Pirouette says, HURRAY!
Lila narrates, PIROUETTE, CHOOCHOO AND BEEBEE WERE SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND AUNTIE FROGGY AND HER HOME!
ChooChoo, Pirouette, and BeeBee run inside the house, leaving Auntie Froggy outside.
Auntie Froggy says, WAIT KIDS! RIBBIT! WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO LISTEN TO MY FROGGIES SING BEFORE GOING INSIDE?
Pirouette says, UH… NO, THANK YOU! THE ONLY FROGGY WE WANT TO LISTEN TO...
BeeBee says, IS YOU!
ChooChoo says, INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!
The red curtains close on the cardboard theatre and transition back to the playroom floor.
Lila says, COME ON, MARCO, LET'S GO ASK DAD IF HE'S FINISHED.
Marco says, OH, BUT WHAT IF WE SEE SPOOKY SHADOWS?
Lila says, WELL…
Lila hands Marco a knitted frog.
Lila says, WE CAN ALWAYS SING LIKE FROGS TO SCARE THEM OFF!
[Marco and Lila croak like frogs]
[Marco and Lila laugh]
