Marco says, WE CAN PLAY THIS!
Lila says, NO, THIS IS A GAME FOR TWO PLAYERS, AND THERE'LL BE THREE OF US.
Marco says, OH! JUST LIKE JOSIE, WILLY, AND BEEBEE!
[Rustling]
Marco moves the paper, and Lila drops Josie, Willy, and Beebee on the floor.
Lila says, HEY! LET'S ASK THEM, THEY ALWAYS KNOW WHAT TO PLAY!
Marco puts a Wowie Woo elastic band behind the Woollys.
Marco says, AND I'LL ADD THE WOWIE WOO! TO MAKE OUR STORY A LITTLE MORE WOO!
[Rustling, harp chords play, birds chirping]
Lila and Marco move a cardboard theatre featuring drawings of Woollys and red curtains in front of the Woollys. The cardboard curtains slide open and reveal Willy’s garden.
Lila narrates, IN WOOLLYWOOD, WILLY AND JOSIE WERE PREPARING SOMETHING MYSTERIOUS...
In an animation, Willy wraps blue wool around sticks around a plant in his garden. Josie stands nearby.
Willy says, MY PINAPRICOT TREE WILL BE WELL PROTECTED THIS WAY.
Josie says, OH! MY WILLY! YOU'RE A GARDENING GENIUS! I CAN'T WAIT TO TASTE THIS HALF-PINEAPPLE, HALF-APRICOT FRUIT YOU'VE INVENTED.
Willy says, SWEET TINY SHEEP! LEAVE MY FENCE ALONE!
[Bleating, slide whistle, crunching]
A sheep takes the blue wool and runs away from the pinapricot tree. The sheep returns and munches on the tree.
Josie says, OH NO! WILLY!
Willy says, SWEET SASSY STRING! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY PINAPRICOT PLANT?!
[Bleating]
Josie says, I SAW FARMER FRIZZLE USING A FUNNY-LOOKING FENCE THINGY THAT SEEMED TO WORK. I'LL GO ASK HER IF SHE COULD LEND IT TO US.
Willy says, I'LL WAIT HERE AND GUARD MY PLANT JUST TO BE SAFE...
[Snoring, groaning, soft music plays]
Later, Willy sleeps beside his pinapricot plant.
Josie says, YOOHOO! WILLY!
Willy says, I WAS JUST ABOUT TO...OH, JOSIE, DID YOU GET THAT NEW FENCE?
[Giggling, boinging, excited music notes play]
Josie pulls out a Wowie Woo elastic band.
Willy says, OH! WHAT IS THIS STRANGE WOWIE THINGY?
[Chiming, upbeat music plays, chiming]
Josie wraps the elastic band around the sticks.
Josie says, THIS IS FARMER FRIZZLE'S FENCE! IT'S VERY STRONG AND...
[Elastic creaking]
Josie pulls a stick and an elastic away from the plant.
Josie says, VERY STRETCHY!
Willy says, HOHO! WELL, THIS IS SIMPLY PERFECT, JOSIE!
[Elastic creaking, grunting, bleating]
Willy pulls two sticks and the Wowie Woo elastic band further away from the plant. He and Josie hug with the plant between them.
Willy says, SWEET SASSY STRING!
[Bleating, boinging]
The sheep pushes against the Wowie Woo elastic band and bounces backwards. A leaf grows on the plant. The sheep stands and runs away.
Willy says, THAT'S PERFECT, JOSIE! OH! WE ARE GOING TO HAVE PLENTY OF DELICIOUS PINAPRICOTS IN A FEW MONTHS!
Josie says, IN A FEW MONTHS? OH! I WANTED TO BAKE A PIE FOR DINNER...
[Upbeat music plays]
Josie and Willy run to a shed.
Josie says, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING IN HERE THAT CAN HELP THE PINAPRICOT TREE GROW FASTER!
[Slide whistles, birds chirping]
Beebee pops up behind the shed doors.
Beebee says, HOWDY GRAMPA! HOWDY GRAMMA! WHAT'S A PINAPA-THINGY?
[Popping]
A pineapple and an apricot appear beside Josie and disappear.
Josie says, HELLO BEEBEE! A PINAPRICOT IS A FRUIT THAT'S HALF PINEAPPLE AND HALF APRICOT. YOUR GRAMPA INVENTED IT!
Beebee says, WOW! YOU'RE SO SMART, GRAMPA!
Josie says, YES! AND I'M SURE HE'S SMART ENOUGH TO FIND A WAY TO MAKE HIS PINAPRICOT TREE GROW EVEN FASTER.
Willy says, EH? OH YES... OF COURSE!
[Slide whistle, clattering, upbeat music plays]
Willy searches in the shed.
Willy says, MMM, LET'S SEE... OH, NOT THIS! YOU KNOW HOW PLANTS LOVE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC DON'T YOU?
[Slide whistle]
Willy throws a wheelbarrow and a drum out of the shed.
Willy says, WELL, I HAVE AN IDEA. A BIG DRUM FOR MY JOSIE...AND A SAXO-BEAN FOR ME!
[Thumping]
Beebee puts the saxo-bean on the drum.
Beebee asks, AND WHAT ABOUT ME, GRAMPA?
Willy says, OH YES, WHAT ABOUT YOU BEEBEE! WE NEED TO FIND YOU AN INSTRUMENT TOO! JUST A MOMENT. HOW ABOUT YOU USE MY OLD CARROT FLUTE?
[Popping, footsteps rustling]
Willy gives Beebee a carrot flute, and they walk back to the plant. Josie and Willy jump over the Wowie Woo elastic band with their instruments.
Josie says, WATCH, BEEBEE. THIS IS HOW WE DO IT. ONE, TWO...ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!
[Jazzy music plays]
Beebee says, AMAZING!
[Boinging, rustling]
The plant grows more leaves. Beebee jumps over the Wowie Woo and trips.
Beebee says, I'M OKAY!
[Jazzy music continues, carrot flute squeaking, slide whistle]
A leaf falls off the plant.
Willy says, WE'LL FIND YOU ANOTHER INSTRUMENT, BEEBEE. THERE ARE PLENTY IN NATURE!
[Birds singing]
Beebee says, YEAH! I REALLY LOVE NATURE!
[Boinging, popping]
Beebee trips over the Wowie Woo, and the plant straightens.
Beebee says, I'M OKAY!
[Upbeat music plays, popping]
In a field, Josie picks a reed and gives it to Beebee.
Josie says, HERE'S A LOVELY REED FLUTE. LET'S TRY IT OUT TOGETHER.
[Jazzy music continues, reed flute squeaking, thumping]
The flowers dance. Beebee plays his flute, and a flower sags. Josie and Willy fall to the ground.
Willy says, WELL, THE REED FLUTE SURE ISN'T DOING THE TRICK.
[Grunting]
Josie says, OH MY... WHY DON'T WE TRY A STRING INSTRUMENT INSTEAD?
[Creaking, clanking]
Josie picks up an acorn and attaches a string to it.
Josie says, GIVE THIS ONE A TRY, BEEBEE! ONE, TWO... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!
[Jazzy music continues, off-key string notes play]
Beebee plays his instrument, and petals fall off the flowers.
Josie says, ER... MAYBE YOU CAN MAKE MUSIC WITH YOUR VOICE!
Beebee says, OH, YES!
Willy looks at the wilted flowers.
Willy says, BUT... LET'S GO AND PRACTICE SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE SHOULD GIVE NATURE A LITTLE BREAK...
[Upbeat music plays, slide whistle, birds singing, Beebee clearing his throat]
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!
Josie says THIS TIME IT HAS TO WORK! I HAVE A PINAPRICOT PIE TO BAKE! READY? ONE, TWO. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR.
[Jazzy music plays]
Beebee sings, DAM BADAM BADAM!
A hedgehog looks up at Beebee.
Beebee says, OH! A SPECTATOR!
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA! LA-LA-LA! LA-LA! BADAM BADAM! LA-LA-LA!
[Squeaking, quacking]
More animals arrive.
Josie says, GREAT JOB, BEEBEE! GREAT JOB!
[Bleating, mooing, leaves rustling]
More animals gather around Beebee. A llama walks out of a bush.
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA-LA! LA-LA-LA-LA!
Willy says, WE CAN'T PLAY IN THE GARDEN WITH THIS BIG CROWD! THEY WILL TRAMPLE MY TOMATOES!
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA-LA! LA-LA-LA-LA!
[Chirping, mooing, squeaking, bleating]
Willy stops and runs to Beebee. He shoos the animals.
Willy says, BEEBEE! BEEBEE! PLEASE, STOP SINGING, MY LITTLE BEEBEE! IT'S ATTRACTING ALL THE ANIMALS OF WOOLLYWOOD! SHOO! SHOO! COME ON! SHOO! THE SHOW'S NOW OVER! GO BACK HOME!
[Bleating, mooing]
The animals walk away. The hedgehog sticks to the top of Beebee’s hat.
Beebee asks, WAS MY SONG GOOD, GRAMMA?
Josie replies, IT WAS REALLY, REALLY GOOD, LITTLE BEEBEE!
[Rustling]
Willy takes the hedgehog off Beebee’s hat and puts it on a toadstool.
Willy says, IT WAS! BUT IT ATTRACTED SO MANY SPECTATORS. UH, TOO MANY FOR MY GARDEN.
Josie says, AH! I THINK WE'VE EARNED OURSELVES A LITTLE BREAK.
[Rustling, snoring, needles clicking, snoring]
In the garden, Josie sits on a bench, knitting, with Willy sleeping beside her. Beebee holds a yarn ball.
Beebee says, HAHA! HEY, GRAMMA, THAT'S FUNNY. IT'S LIKE YOU'RE MAKING MUSIC!
[Rhythmic snoring, needles clicking]
Beebee dancing.
Josie says, WILLY, WAKE UP!
[Thumping, cymbal crashing]
Willy rolls off the bench.
Josie says, I HAVE ANOTHER IDEA TO HELP YOUR PLANT GROW WITH OUR TRIO!
Willy says, BUT I WASN'T ASLEEP, JOSIE! COME ON! LET'S GET GOING!
[Upbeat music plays]
Josie says, COME, BEEBEE! LET'S MAKE SOME MORE MUSIC!
Willy says, WAIT FOR ME!
In the garden by the plant, Beebee says, LISTEN, GRAMPA!
[Tapping]
Beebee says, GRAMMA PUT TINY BITS OF WOOD ON MY FEET!
Josie says, BEEBEE WON'T BE PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT. HE WILL DANCE TO THE RHYTHM OF OUR MUSIC! READY! AND ONE, TWO! ONE, TWO THREE FOUR!
[Jazzy music plays, tapping]
The plant grows.
Willy says, IT IS WORKING... BUT THESE LEAVES ARE MUCH TOO SMALL...BEEBEE, TRY DANCING FASTER AND LOUDER!
[Faster tapping, thumping]
Beebee falls on the plant and flattens it.
Willy says, BEEBEE!
Beebee says, I'M OKAY! OH, GRAMPA, I SMOOSHED YOUR PRETTY PLANT...
Willy says, SWEET STUBBORN PLANT! IT SEEMS THAT IT DOESN'T WANT TO GROW!
Beebee says, I'M GONNA GO FIND MY GLUE TO FIX IT!
[Boinging]
Beebee walks under the Wowie Woo elastic band and snaps it. The plant straightens and grows.
Willy and Josie say, OH!
Beebee says, I'M OKAY!
Willy says, UH, BEEBEE, CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE?
[Boinging]
Beebee walks under the Wowie Woo elastic band and snaps it. The plant grows.
Beebee says, I'M OKAY! WHAT IS IT?
Willy says, HOHO! YOU'VE FOUND THE PERFECT INSTRUMENT TO HELP MY PINAPRICOT TREE GROW!
Josie says, ONE, TWO... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!
[Rhythmic jazzy music plays, Elastic band snapping
Beebee snaps the Wowie Woo elastic band.
Willy says, YES, KEEP IT UP, JUST LIKE THAT LITTLE FELLAH.
[Rustling]
The plant grows.
Willy says, THE PINAPRICOT REALLY LIKES IT!
Fruit grows on the plant.
Josie says, YOU'RE UP, BEEBEE!
[Popping]
Willy picks a pinapricot.
Willy says, STOP! STOP! LOOK! PINAPRICOTS! THESE TINY MARVELS OF NATURE MUST BE DELICIOUSLY DELICIOUS...
[Chewing, plopping]
Willy takes a bite and throws the pinapricot over his shoulder.
Willy says, PHEW! DON'T BOTHER, THEY'RE NOT VERY GOOD! TOMORROW, I'LL BE WORKING ON MY NEWEST NEW INVENTION, BROCOLITCHI: HALF BROCCOLI, HALF LITCHI!
[Popping, laughing]
Broccoli and litchi appear by Willy’s head and disappear.
[Scraping, upbeat music plays, thumping]
In the playroom, the red curtains close. Marco and Lila move the theatre.
Marco says, BEEBEE, WILLY AND JOSIE HAD BECOME A SUPER TRIO AND PLAYED SO WELL TOGETHER!
[Rattling]
Lila shakes a tin can with paper fastened over one end.
Lila says, HEY, LET'S PLAY MUSIC WITH DAD!
[Thrumming]
Marco plucks an elastic band.
Marco says, YEAH, AND DANCE! AND MAYBE WE CAN PLAY WOOLLYS TOO!
Lila says, - SOUNDS FUN. AS LONG AS WE'RE PLAYING TOGETHER, IT'LL BE GREAT!
[Giggling]

Willy says, WE'LL FIND YOU ANOTHER INSTRUMENT, BEEBEE. THERE ARE PLENTY IN NATURE!
[Birds singing]
Beebee says, YEAH! I REALLY LOVE NATURE!
[Boinging, popping]
Beebee trips over the Wowie Woo, and the plant straightens.
Beebee says, I'M OKAY!
[Upbeat music plays, popping]
In a field, Josie picks a reed and gives it to Beebee.
Josie says, HERE'S A LOVELY REED FLUTE. LET'S TRY IT OUT TOGETHER.
[Jazzy music continues, reed flute squeaking, thumping]
The flowers dance. Beebee plays his flute, and a flower sags. Josie and Willy fall to the ground.
Willy says, WELL, THE REED FLUTE SURE ISN'T DOING THE TRICK.
[Grunting]
Josie says, OH MY... WHY DON'T WE TRY A STRING INSTRUMENT INSTEAD?
[Creaking, clanking]
Josie picks up an acorn and attaches a string to it.
Josie says, GIVE THIS ONE A TRY, BEEBEE! ONE, TWO... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!
[Jazzy music continues, off-key string notes play]
Beebee plays his instrument, and petals fall off the flowers.
Josie says, ER... MAYBE YOU CAN MAKE MUSIC WITH YOUR VOICE!
Beebee says, OH, YES!
Willy looks at the wilted flowers.
Willy says, BUT... LET'S GO AND PRACTICE SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE SHOULD GIVE NATURE A LITTLE BREAK...
[Upbeat music plays, slide whistle, birds singing, Beebee clearing his throat]
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!
Josie says THIS TIME IT HAS TO WORK! I HAVE A PINAPRICOT PIE TO BAKE! READY? ONE, TWO. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR.
[Jazzy music plays]
Beebee sings, DAM BADAM BADAM!
A hedgehog looks up at Beebee.
Beebee says, OH! A SPECTATOR!
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA! LA-LA-LA! LA-LA! BADAM BADAM! LA-LA-LA!
[Squeaking, quacking]
More animals arrive.
Josie says, GREAT JOB, BEEBEE! GREAT JOB!
[Bleating, mooing, leaves rustling]
More animals gather around Beebee. A llama walks out of a bush.
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA-LA! LA-LA-LA-LA!
Willy says, WE CAN'T PLAY IN THE GARDEN WITH THIS BIG CROWD! THEY WILL TRAMPLE MY TOMATOES!
Beebee sings, LA-LA-LA-LA! LA-LA-LA-LA!
[Chirping, mooing, squeaking, bleating]
Willy stops and runs to Beebee. He shoos the animals.
Willy says, BEEBEE! BEEBEE! PLEASE, STOP SINGING, MY LITTLE BEEBEE! IT'S ATTRACTING ALL THE ANIMALS OF WOOLLYWOOD! SHOO! SHOO! COME ON! SHOO! THE SHOW'S NOW OVER! GO BACK HOME!
[Bleating, mooing]
The animals walk away. The hedgehog sticks to the top of Beebee’s hat.
Beebee asks, WAS MY SONG GOOD, GRAMMA?
Josie replies, IT WAS REALLY, REALLY GOOD, LITTLE BEEBEE!
[Rustling]
Willy takes the hedgehog off Beebee’s hat and puts it on a toadstool.
Willy says, IT WAS! BUT IT ATTRACTED SO MANY SPECTATORS. UH, TOO MANY FOR MY GARDEN.
Josie says, AH! I THINK WE'VE EARNED OURSELVES A LITTLE BREAK.
[Rustling, snoring, needles clicking, snoring]
In the garden, Josie sits on a bench, knitting, with Willy sleeping beside her. Beebee holds a yarn ball.
Beebee says, HAHA! HEY, GRAMMA, THAT'S FUNNY. IT'S LIKE YOU'RE MAKING MUSIC!
[Rhythmic snoring, needles clicking]
Beebee dancing.
Josie says, WILLY, WAKE UP!
[Thumping, cymbal crashing]
Willy rolls off the bench.
Josie says, I HAVE ANOTHER IDEA TO HELP YOUR PLANT GROW WITH OUR TRIO!
Willy says, BUT I WASN'T ASLEEP, JOSIE! COME ON! LET'S GET GOING!
[Upbeat music plays]
Josie says, COME, BEEBEE! LET'S MAKE SOME MORE MUSIC!
Willy says, WAIT FOR ME!
In the garden by the plant, Beebee says, LISTEN, GRAMPA!
[Tapping]
Beebee says, GRAMMA PUT TINY BITS OF WOOD ON MY FEET!
Josie says, BEEBEE WON'T BE PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT. HE WILL DANCE TO THE RHYTHM OF OUR MUSIC! READY! AND ONE, TWO! ONE, TWO THREE FOUR!
[Jazzy music plays, tapping]
The plant grows.
Willy says, IT IS WORKING... BUT THESE LEAVES ARE MUCH TOO SMALL...BEEBEE, TRY DANCING FASTER AND LOUDER!
[Faster tapping, thumping]
Beebee falls on the plant and flattens it.
Willy says, BEEBEE!
Beebee says, I'M OKAY! OH, GRAMPA, I SMOOSHED YOUR PRETTY PLANT...
Willy says, SWEET STUBBORN PLANT! IT SEEMS THAT IT DOESN'T WANT TO GROW!
Beebee says, I'M GONNA GO FIND MY GLUE TO FIX IT!
[Boinging]
Beebee walks under the Wowie Woo elastic band and snaps it. The plant straightens and grows.
Willy and Josie say, OH!
Beebee says, I'M OKAY!
Willy says, UH, BEEBEE, CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE?
[Boinging]
Beebee walks under the Wowie Woo elastic band and snaps it. The plant grows.
Beebee says, I'M OKAY! WHAT IS IT?
Willy says, HOHO! YOU'VE FOUND THE PERFECT INSTRUMENT TO HELP MY PINAPRICOT TREE GROW!
Josie says, ONE, TWO... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!
[Rhythmic jazzy music plays, Elastic band snapping
Beebee snaps the Wowie Woo elastic band.
Willy says, YES, KEEP IT UP, JUST LIKE THAT LITTLE FELLAH.
[Rustling]
The plant grows.
Willy says, THE PINAPRICOT REALLY LIKES IT!
Fruit grows on the plant.
Josie says, YOU'RE UP, BEEBEE!
[Popping]
Willy picks a pinapricot.
Willy says, STOP! STOP! LOOK! PINAPRICOTS! THESE TINY MARVELS OF NATURE MUST BE DELICIOUSLY DELICIOUS...
[Chewing, plopping]
Willy takes a bite and throws the pinapricot over his shoulder.
Willy says, PHEW! DON'T BOTHER, THEY'RE NOT VERY GOOD! TOMORROW, I'LL BE WORKING ON MY NEWEST NEW INVENTION, BROCOLITCHI: HALF BROCCOLI, HALF LITCHI!
[Popping, laughing]
Broccoli and litchi appear by Willy’s head and disappear.
[Scraping, upbeat music plays, thumping]
In the playroom, the red curtains close. Marco and Lila move the theatre.
Marco says, BEEBEE, WILLY AND JOSIE HAD BECOME A SUPER TRIO AND PLAYED SO WELL TOGETHER!
[Rattling]
Lila shakes a tin can with paper fastened over one end.
Lila says, HEY, LET'S PLAY MUSIC WITH DAD!
[Thrumming]
Marco plucks an elastic band.
Marco says, YEAH, AND DANCE! AND MAYBE WE CAN PLAY WOOLLYS TOO!
Lila says, - SOUNDS FUN. AS LONG AS WE'RE PLAYING TOGETHER, IT'LL BE GREAT!
[Giggling]
