[Laughing]

[Gentle music plays]

A Woolly reads the episode title.

The Woolly says, THE MARKER.

Text reads, “Written by Tom Gobart, Jérôme Lefévère. Storyboard by “Perrine Marais.”

[Playful music plays]

On their playroom floor, Lila and Marco kneel in front of their cardboard theatre. Marco draws on a piece of paper with an orange marker. Other markers lie on the floor with the caps off.

Marco says, PEW! PEW-PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW.

Marco holds the orange marker in his fists and waves it around.

[Marco imitating an engine roaring]

Lila groans, AW, MARCO! YOU HAVE TO PUT THE CAPS BACK ON THE MARKERS!

Marco says, IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL, I'M USING ALL OF THEM ANYWAY!

Marco swaps the orange marker for a red marker. In the drawing, he adds an ornament to a burning tree being blasted by an alien spaceship.

Lila says, IT IS A BIG DEAL! AND I'M SURE THE WOOLLYS WOULD AGREE. LET'S ASK PIROUETTE!

Lila and Marco clear away the markers and the drawing.

Marco says, OKAY, BUT I ALSO WANT TO ASK CHOOCHOO AND UM, BOB AND BOBBIN!

Lila says, AND WE CAN'T FORGET ABOUT THE WOWIEWOO!

Marco says, TO MAKE OUR ADVENTURE A LITTLE MORE WOO!

Lila and Marco pile their wool toys and a yellow marker, the wowiewoo, on the floor. They place the cardboard theatre over the pile. The theatre features drawings of the Woollys and red cardboard curtains.

Lila says, IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY, AND JOSIE WAS TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING.

The curtains open, revealing the imaginary wool world of Wollywood.

[Gentle music plays]

On a sunny day, Claudine, Josie and Willy’s treehouse smiles.

Inside, Josie says, NO.

Inside, Josie tosses a ball of pink wool over her shoulder. She tosses other balls of wool behind her and adds to the pile on the floor.

Josie says, NOPE!

In the living room, a pink ball of wool hits Pirouette. Pirouette jumps back from a blue ball of wool.

Josie groans, NO.

Josie dives headfirst into her basket of wool. She walks into the living room with the basket on her head. She pulls it off and looks at Pirouette.

Josie says, OH! I'M AFRAID I'M ALL OUT, PIROUETTE. IF YOU WANT A NEW YELLOW SUIT, YOU'LL HAVE TO GET ME SOME YELLOW WOOL.

Pirouette says, OKAY! I'LL GO FIND A YELLOW SHEEP RIGHT AWAY!

Pirouette flips out of the room and cheers, WOO-HOO!

[Upbeat music plays]

In a field, Pirouette flips over to a pair of sleeping sheep.

[Bleating]

Pirouette says, WHERE, OH WHERE, ARE YOU HIDING MY LITTLE YELLOW SHEEP?

[Bleating]

Pirouette jumps onto a tree and looks down at a third sheep. She flips across the field to a hill with a herd of sheep. Pirouette looks under and then between different sheep.

[Bleating]

Pirouette flips on top of a sheep and looks toward a single sheep lying on a grassy hill.

Pirouette says, AH! MAYBE THAT WAY!

Pirouette flips up the grassy hill.

[Pirouette grunting]

Pirouette flips onto the top of the hill. The sheep stumbles and rolls down the hill.

[Bleating]

[Splashing]

Pirouette says, OOPS! SO SORRY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO SCARE YA!

Pirouette flips down to the bottom of the hill. The sheep lies upside down in a mud puddle. The sheep’s wool soaks up the mud and turns brown.

Beside the sheep, Pirouette says, OH! YOUR WOOL SOAKED UP ALL THE MUD LIKE A SPONGE!

Pirouette picks up the sheep and looks at the now-blue puddle.

Pirouette says, AND THE WATER IS NOW SUPER CLEAN!

[Bleating]

Pirouette puts the sheep down, and it runs up the hill.

In the distance, a singer sings, IF YOU LOOK UP.

Pirouette says, TOO BAD IT WASN'T A YELLOW PUDDLE.

In the distance, a second singer sings, AT MISTER SUN.

[Joyful music plays]

In the distance, the first singer sings, IN THE SKY!

Bobbin sings, YELLOW AND PROUD.

Bob sings, NEVER A CLOUD WILL EVER PASS BY!

Pirouette stares ahead. In front of a flower patch, Bobbin, a blue Woolly with black braids and a moustache, and Bob, a pink Woolly with short black hair and a moustache, face flowers with white petals. Bob waves the yellow wowiewoo marker.

Bobbin sings, IF YOU LOOK UP.

Bob sings, AT MISTER SUN.

Bobbin sings, SHINING WAY UP.

Bob sings, IN THE SKY!

Pirouette cartwheels over to Bob and Bobbin.

Bobbin sings, YELLOW AND PROUD.

Bob sings, NEVER A CLOUD.

Bob and Bobbin sing, WILL EVER PASS BY!

The flowers turn to face the sun.

[Sun sizzling]

[Magical music plays]

The white petals turn yellow.

Pirouette says, WOAH! WHAT IS THAT WOWIE THINGY!?

Bob and Bobbin turn around.

Bobbin says, IT'S OUR BRILLIANT BATON!

Bob says, WE USE IT TO HELP THE TIRED SUNFLOWERS TURN AROUND AND FACE THE SUN.

Bob waves the wowiewoo baton. The flowers turn away from the sun and their yellow petals fade to grey.

Bobbin says, THAT WAY, THEY'LL ALL GET NICE AND YELLOW!

Bob raises the wowiewoo baton, and the flower petals turn yellow.

[Magical music plays]

Pirouette imagines sheep facing the sun and their wool turning yellow.

Pirouette says, YELLOW?! EEE! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I NEED! CAN I BORROW IT PLEASE?!

Bobbin asks, BOB, CAN WE LEND HER OUR BRILLIANT BATON?

Bob says, WELL, BOBBIN! ALL THE SUNFLOWERS ARE BRIGHT AND YELLOW NOW!

Bobbin says, THEN HERE, YOU MAY BORROW IT.

Bobbin gives Pirouette the baton.

Pirouette squeals, YAY! EEE! THANK YOU!

Pirouette leaves with the baton. Bob and Bobbin stand with their arms crossed behind their backs.

Bob asks, SO, WHAT DO WE DO NOW, BOBBIN?

Bobbin asks, HOW ABOUT A NICE LITTLE SONG, BOB?

Bob says, HOHO! SOUNDS GREAT!

Bobbin grabs an accordion and then a banjo.

Bobbin says, A ONE, A TWO.

Bob says, A ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!

The yellow flowers turn toward Bob and Bobbin.

[Playful music plays]

In a field, Pirouette walks alongside a river with the baton.

Pirouette says, I'LL USE MY BRILLIANT BATON TO GUIDE A SHEEP INTO THE SUNLIGHT, AND MAKE IT NICE AND YELLOW!

[Fanfare plays]

Pirouette turns to face a group of sheep on a small hill on the other side of the river.

Pirouette says, OH, THERE ARE SOME OVER THERE!

Pirouette shouts, DON'T MOVE, I'M COMING!

Pirouette turns toward a bridge in the distance.

Pirouette groans, AW! THAT BRIDGE IS SO FAR AWAY.

Pirouette glances from the sheep to the river, to the baton.

Pirouette says, BUT WHO NEEDS A BRIDGE WHEN YOU HAVE A BRILLIANT BATON!

Pirouette uncaps the lid of the marker and runs away from the river.

[Drum roll]

Pirouette runs up to the edge of the river wearing a circular orange flower as an inflatable tube and leaps toward the water.

[Pirouette grunting]

Pirouette sticks the tip of the marker baton in the river and swings back and forth. She swings over the water to the other side of the river.

[Pirouette grunting]

Pirouette tumbles up the small hill to the group of sheep.

[Blearing]

Pirouette turns to the marker baton stuck in the river.

Pirouette says, OH.

Pirouette glances toward the sun.

[Sun sizzling]

Pirouette walks over to the edge of the river. A yellow stream from the marker baton flows downriver.

Pirouette says, OH, WELL. LOOKS LIKE I NEED A BRIDGE AFTER ALL! HA-HA!

Pirouette steps away. She bounces across bushes in the distance and crosses the faraway bridge. She returns to the marker baton on the other side of the river.

Pirouette says, OH! YELLOW WATER! HOW PRETTY

Pirouette follows a stream of yellow water down the river. The water reaches two reed plants in the river, and the reeds turn yellow.

Pirouette says, WOWIE!

Pirouette smells the now-yellow reeds.

Pirouette says, IT SMELLS LIKE, CAULIFLOWER PIE.

A yellow fish leaps through the water.

[Fish quacking]

Pirouette says, A FISH THAT GOES "QUACK-QUACK" LIKE A DUCK!? THAT'S REALLY STRANGE. AND WHY IS EVERYTHING ALL YELLOW?

[Intense music briefly plays]

Pirouette looks around and says, I HOPE IT DIDN'T MAKE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE POND.

[Dramatic music plays]

Pirouette looks downriver toward a pond. A stream of yellow water reaches the pond where a swan floats. The yellow water starts to turn the blue pond water yellow. Pirouette runs alongside the river to the pond.

Pirouette says, UH-OH.

Pirouette jumps on the swan and pushes it away from the yellow water. Pirouette and the swan float away from the yellow water. Pirouette watches a reed in the water behind her turning yellow. A purple, winged insect lands on the yellow reed and turns yellow. The yellow water spreads further across the pond. It reaches a frog, and the frog turns yellow.

[Frog chirping]

Pirouette says, AND NOW THE FROGS ARE CHEEP-CHEEPING LIKE BABY CHICKS! OH, THIS YELLOW WATER SURE IS MAKING EVERYONE ACT STRANGE.

The yellow water flows toward a narrow river.

[Splashing]

[Dramatic music plays]

Pirouette says, OH, NO! CLAUDINE! AND GRAMPA WILLY'S VEGGIE GARDEN! STOP MOVING! STOP!

The yellow water turns the water in the narrow river a similar shade of yellow. The river leads to Claudine.

Pirouette says, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE POND! HEY! WE NEED A DAM! TO STOP THE YELLOW WATER FROM MOVING!

From close by, ChooChoo calls out, PIROUETTE! YOO-HOO, WHERE ARE YOU?!

ChooChoo walks up a hill.

Pirouette yells, CHOOCHOO! CHOOCHOO, I'M OVER HERE!

A hedgehog spots ChooChoo and runs to the right. ChooChoo walks to the left. Reeds in the river turn yellow. The hedgehog returns, now yellow.

[Hedgehog croaking]

In a tube plant, ChooChoo meets Pirouette on the other side of a small yellow river flowing out of the pond.

ChooChoo says, HI, PIROUETTE! I WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT –

ChooChoo glances at the pond and says, WOW, THIS YELLOW POND SURE IS ELEGANT.

Pirouette says, UH, IT IS PRETTY, BUT IT'S MAKING EVERYONE IT TOUCHES STRANGE. I NEED YOU TO KNIT A DAM TO STOP IT FROM REACHING THE RIVER!

ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA!

ChooChoo takes his knitting needles and a ball of white wool out of his hat and starts knitting.

ChooChoo says, A DAM? BUT, BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO KNIT DAMS!

[Knitting needles clicking]

Pirouette says, WELL, IT'S SUPER EASY! IT'S A THING THAT, IS BIG, IT LOOKS LIKE A... WALL. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE A THING LIKE A BIG RECTANGLE!

ChooChoo knits a square.

ChooChoo stops and says, OOH-LALA, I AM TOO NERVOUS!

[Pirouette groaning]

Pirouette says, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, CHOOCHOO!

Pirouette looks around.

[Pirouette gasping]

Pirouette says, THAT'S IT! WE'LL PULL THE BANKS OF THE RIVER TOGETHER!

Pirouette looks around.

Pirouette says, OKAY, ER, GRAB THIS REED AND BEND YOURS OVER TO ME.

ChooChoo and Pirouette bend reeds across the narrow river between them.

Pirouette says, AND A-ONE, AND A-TWO, AND A-ONE TWO THREE, PULL!

ChooChoo and Pirouette pull on the tips of the reeds.

Pirouette says, COME ON, CHOOCHOO, PULL!

[Suspenseful music plays]

ChooChoo says, THIS IS NOT EASY!

The banks of the narrow river move closer together.

Pirouette says, WE'RE ALMOST THERE!

[Pirouette and ChooChoo grunting]

The reeds snap and knock Pirouette and ChooChoo backward.

[Pirouette and ChooChoo yelping]

The banks of the narrow river widen, and the yellow water continues flowing. Pirouette and ChooChoo return to the river.

Pirouette says, THESE REEDS AREN'T STRONG ENOUGH!

ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA! WE SHOULD ASK GRAMMA JOSIE FOR HELP!

Pirouette says, NO TIME FOR THAT, CHOOCHOO! WE HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT OURSELVES!

Pirouette and ChooChoo leave the pond and follow the narrow river.

ChooChoo says, BUT IF GRAMMA JOSIE WERE HERE, SHE WOULD TELL US TO….

ChooChoo imitates Gramma Josie and says, START UNRAVELING THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER LIKE –

Pirouette interrupts and says, I KNOW! SHE WOULD GO AND GET A BIG WHITE SHEEP!

Pirouette pulls a big white flower out of the ground and sticks it in the river.

Pirouette says, AND SHE WOULD PUT IT IN THE RIVER, SO THAT IT COULD SOAK UP THE MESS!

The white flower turns yellow. The water below it turns blue.

Pirouette says, THAT IS WHAT WE NEED TO DO!

Pirouette and ChooChoo walk up a hill toward the pond. A blue bird perches on the stem of the now-yellow flower and turns yellow.

[Bird barking]

[Playful music plays]

Pirouette and ChooChoo race past the wowiewoo marker baton, still stuck in the river. They hurry back and look toward the water.

[Pirouette gasping]

Pirouette says, CHOOCHOO, HELP ME GET THIS GIANT WAND OUT! IT'S THE REASON THE RIVER IS ALL YELLOW.

Pirouette flips onto the baton.

[Pirouette grunting]

ChooChoo grabs the bottom of the baton and pulls it out of the river.

[Magical music plays]

Blue water follows the yellow water downriver.

[Pirouette gasping]

Pirouette says, CHOOCHOO, YOU, YOU DID IT!

ChooChoo says, OOH-LALA! OOH-LALA! I DID IT!

[ChooChoo giggling]

ChooChoo sets the baton and Pirouette on the ground.

Pirouette says, AND NOW WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING SUPER IMPORTANT! HOLD THIS UP, LIKE THIS PLEASE.

ChooChoo holds the baton at his side, tip up.

[Drum roll]

Pirouette runs and flips into the air. She puts the cap back on the marker.

[Pirouette grunting]

Pirouette drops onto the ground beside ChooChoo.

Pirouette says, THAT'LL PREVENT ANY MORE CATASTROPHES. NOW, WE NEED TO GET THOSE WHITE SHEEP!

ChooChoo lets go of the baton, and it falls into Pirouette’s grasp. ChooChoo and Pirouette run across the bridge and return to the group of sheep on the small hill.

[Bleating]

Pirouette says, AHEM, LISTEN-UP, YOU CLEAN SHEEP!

Pirouette waves the marker baton.

Pirouette sings, IT IS TIME TO HELP US CLEAN UP! COME ON GUYS WE NEED A HAND! HUP, HUP, HUP, HUP, IT'S RIGHT THIS WAY! THANK YOU, LITTLE FRIENDS!

The sheep follow the baton with their gaze. Pirouette points toward the pond with the baton.

[Bleating]

The sheep hop off the hill. ChooChoo and Pirouette follow them to the narrow river and past the yellow flower in the water.

[Bleating]

In the white flower patch, Pirouette stands in front of the sheep.

[Bleating]

Pirouette glances toward Claudine.

Pirouette says, COME ON, FRIENDS, HOP ON IN!

[Bleating]

The sheep hop on top of each other in the river and form a tower. One after another, the sheep turn yellow, and the water turns blue. The pond on the hill above turns blue, and the frog turns green. The other yellow river water turns blue.

ChooChoo and Pirouette cheer, HURRAY! IT'S WORKING!

The sheep hop out of the river and drop to their feet.

[Sheep cheeping]

ChooChoo says, UH-OH.

From nearby, Bob asks, DO WE HAVE A SHEEP-CHEEPING PROBLEM?

ChooChoo and Pirouette turn to face Bob and Bobbin. Pirouette smiles. Bob and Bobbin take off their hats, revealing their accordion and banjo.

Bobbin says, ONE SINGING SOLUTION COMING RIGHT UP! AND A ONE, AND A TWO.

Bob says, AND A ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!

Bob plays the banjo. Bobbin plays the accordion.

[Playful music plays]

Bob sings, WHEN YOUR SHEEP…

Bobbin sings, DOES NOT SAY "BAH” BUT…

Bob sings, …CHIRPS INSTEAD, JUST…

Bobbin sings, …LIKE A WREN

Bob sings, …SHEAR HER WELL AND…

Bobbin sings, …YOU'LL SEE THEN-SHE'LL SPEAK LIKE…

Bob and Bobbing sing, …SHEEP AGAIN!

Bob and Bobbin take off their hats and bow. They pack away their instruments in their hats.

Pirouette says, SHEAR THESE SHEEP? YOU GOT IT! THANK YOU FOR COMING ALL THIS WAY TO GIVE US THAT GREAT ADVICE!

Bobbin says, YOU'RE WELCOME, KIDS!

Bob says, BUT WE'VE JUST COME TO COLLECT OUR BRILLIANT BATON!

Pirouette returns the wowiewoo marker baton to Bobbin.

Bobbin says, THANK YOU!

Bob and Bobbin leave. ChooChoo and Pirouette turn to the group of yellow sheep. One at a time, they shear and stack the sheep.

[Buzzing]

[Bleating]

ChooChoo and Pirouette carry balls of yellow wool.

Lila narrates, AND SO, PIROUETTE HAD FOUND ALL THE YELLOW WOOL SHE COULD POSSIBLY NEED.

ChooChoo asks, DO YOU KNOW WHAT GRAMMA JOSIE WOULD DO TO CELEBRATE THIS?

Pirouette says, SHE'D PROBABLY KNIT ME A SUPER YELLOW SUIT!

ChooChoo says, YES! AND SHE WOULD ALSO PROBABLY MAKE US A YUMMY SNACK.

[Pirouette giggling]

Pirouette says, YA!

The yellow hedgehog walks up behind ChooChoo. ChooChoo and Pirouette continue walking alongside the river.

[Hedgehog croaking]

The cardboard curtains close.

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

In the playroom, Lila and Marco lift the cardboard theatre off the pile of Woollys and set it against the wall.

Lila says, HEY MARCO, HOW ABOUT WE PUT THE CAPS BACK ON ALL THESE MARKERS?

Lila puts two markers with missing caps on the floor.

Marco says, FOR SURE! I BET I'M GONNA PUT MORE CAPS ON THAN YOU!

Marco puts a purple cap on a blue marker.

[Marco giggling]
