[Laughing]

[Gentle music plays]

A Woolly reads the episode title.

The Woolly says, SNAPPY.

Text reads, “Written by Tom Gobart, Phil Ivanusic-Vallée. Storyboard by “Louise Mendoche.”

[Gentle music plays]

On the playroom floor, Lila kneels in front of the cardboard theatre with a Woolly and Snowlly in a toy car, a plastic toy gnome, three toy pawns, and wooden block toys. Lila places a triangular block on top of a bridge block, which is balanced on a cylinder block.

Lila says, AND ANOTHER ONE HERE. AND ANOTHER ONE OVER HERE.

Lila leans a rectangular road block toy on the triangular toy.

[Lila giggling]

[Drum roll]

Marco appears with a seedling in a small cardboard box. He slams his free hand onto the floor.

[Banging]

Lila’s block toy creation falls.

[Clanging]

Marco says, LOOK!

Lila groans, ARGH!

Marco says, LILA! LILA, LOOK! IT'S A BABY PLANT WE PLANTED AT SCHOOL! ISN'T IT GREAT?

Lila says, HMM. I DON'T THINK YOUR PLANT LOOKS VERY HAPPY INDOORS, MARCO. HEY, I KNOW A WOOLLY WHO KNOWS A LOT ABOUT PLANTS.

Lila clears away her toys on the floor.

Lila says, SO, FOR THIS STORY, WE'LL NEED WILLY, OF COURSE. AND BEEBEE, JOSIE, AND VEGGIES FOR WILLY'S GARDEN.

[Lila giggling]

Lila piles Woollys BeeBee, Josie and Willy on the floor and adds a handful of vegetable Woollys, including a pumpkin and a carrot.

Marco says, AND DON'T FORGET THE WOWIE-WOO!

Marco adds a clothespin as the wowiewoo to the pile.

Marco says, TO GIVE OUR STORY A LITTLE EXTRA WOO.

Marco and Lila place the cardboard theatre over the pile of woolly toys and the clothespin. The theatre features drawings of the Woollys and has red cardboard curtains.

Lila narrates, IT WAS A SUNNY DAY IN WILLY'S GARDEN, AND WILLY WAS VERY BUSY.

The curtains open and reveal a garden in an imaginary, whimsical world made of wool.

In the garden, Willy says, YEAH. A LITTLE SNIP HERE. A LITTLE WATER THERE.

Willy trims a vine and waters a plant. He drops the vine in a wheelbarrow and hugs a second plant.

Willy says, A HUG FOR YOU, AND OOH. YOU'D BETTER BEHAVE, RADISHES. I'M WATCHING YOU!

[Willy chuckling]

Willy pushes the wheelbarrow down an underground tunnel past onions crying in the soil. He walks out the other end of the tunnel to another part of the garden with a radish and a carrot.

Someone says, I'M WATCHING YOU, TOO.

Willy says, SWEET BALL OF YARN! A TALKING RADISH?

[Giggling]

On top of the radish, BeeBee pops out and says, HI, GRANDPA.

[Will chuckling]

Willy says, OH, BEEBEE!

BeeBee falls off the radish.

BeeBee jumps up and asks, WHAT YOU DOING, GRANDPA? CAN I HELP? CAN I? CAN I?

BeeBee eagerly jumps into the wheelbarrow.

Willy says, OF COURSE YOU MAY, BEEBEE. I LOVE SHARING MY GARDENING KNOWLEDGE WHENEVER I CAN.

BeeBee cheers, YAY!

[Celebratory music briefly plays]

Willy pushes BeeBee in the wheelbarrow to an empty patch in the garden.

Willy says, YEAH. YOUR VERY OWN SPECIAL GARDEN TO RUIN. I MEAN, MAKE IT REALLY, REALLY BEAUTIFUL.

BeeBee says, WOW! THANK YOU, GRANDPA. I'LL START PLANTING STUFF RIGHT AWAY!

BeeBee grabs a rock and says, OH. THIS ONE'S GOING TO BE A NICE ROCK FLOWER. AND THIS ONE'S GOING TO BE A HAT TREE.

BeeBee pushes a rock and the tip of a hat into the ground.

Willy says, KEEP IT UP BEEBEE. YOU'RE DOING GREAT.

BeeBee walks away.

[BeeBee grunting]

BeeBee says, THANKS. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT'LL BE HERE TOMORROW!

BeeBee returns with two vines and grabs the vines from Willy’s wheelbarrow.

Willy says, YOU'LL NEED TO BE PATIENT, BEEBEE. VEGETABLES DON'T GROW OVERNIGHT.

The vines lie in the ground between the rock and the hat. BeeBee hops in the wheelbarrow and leaves with Willy. Outside the garden, day turns to night.

[Gentle music plays]

Vegetables in the garden sleep. The sun rises and they open their eyes.

[Rooster rowing]

In the garden, with his eyes closed, Willy walks by vines on the ground and stretches his arms.

[Willy yarning]

Willy gathers up the vines and plants them on top of two carrots. He pours water from a watering can into his wheelbarrow. Willy jumps into the wheelbarrow and takes a bath.

[Willy yawning]

Willy climbs out of the wheelbarrow. He tosses a radish in the wheelbarrow and pushes it through the garden. On a path by a patch of carrots, Willy tosses a tomato in the wheelbarrow and pushes it to BeeBee’s garden. Seedlings sprout from the ground. Willy steps onto a rock flower plant.

Willy says, SWEET BALL OF YARN!

BeeBee waves and says, GOOD MORNING, GRANDPA!

Willy pokes at a leaf on a seedling.

Willy says, BUT HOW COULD THAT, THAT IS TO SAY, HOW DID YOU…

BeeBee asks, ISN’T MY GARDEN BEAUTIFUL?

BeeBee jumps on the seedling and spins around. The seedling shakes, and he jumps off.

[Dramatic music plays]

The seedling grows into a clothespin, the wowiewoo. The clothespin opens and roars.

[Roaring]

BeeBee jumps on the rock and says, OOH!

Willy asks, WHAT IS THAT STRANGE WOWIE-THINGY?

BeeBee says, I'M A GREAT GARDENER, JUST LIKE YOU, GRANDPA.

Willy says, VERY STRANGE INDEED.

The wowiewoo clothespin takes Willy’s hat.

Willy says, HEY! GIVE THAT BACK.

The clothespin places the hat back on Willy’s head.

BeeBee says, WOW!

[BeeBee giggling]

BeeBee says, I'M GOING TO CALL YOU SNAPPY.

Willy says, SWEET BALL OF YARN. UH, WHAT DID YOU PLANT EXACTLY?

BeeBee says, I DON'T KNOW. STUFF.

Snappy, the wowiewoo clothespin, plucks a stem off the tomato in the wheelbarrow.

Willy says, OH! NAUGHTY SNAPPY!

Snappy eats the stem.

Willy says, THESE VEGETABLES ARE NOT FOR EATING! WELL, THEY WILL BE, BUT NOT BY YOU!

Willy pushes the wheelbarrow away from Snappy.

BeeBee says, SNAPPY DIDN'T MEAN TO. SHE'S JUST HUNGRY. THAT'S ALL.

BeeBee pets and waters Snappy. Josie walks into the garden.

Josie says, GOOD MORNING, WILLY. GOOD MORNING, BEEBEE. GOOD MORNING, SCARY-LOOKING PLANT. OOH! YOU'RE NEW.

Josie scratches Snappy. Willy runs over and stands between Josie and Snappy. Josie frowns.

BeeBee says, HER NAME IS SNAPPY!

Josie says, HOW DO YOU DO, SNAPPY? I'M JOSIE. YOU KNOW, SHE REMINDS ME OF A PLANT I SAW IN THE LOST JUNGLES OF THE WOOLPICKLE RAINFOREST MANY YEARS AGO. I –

Willy interrupts and says, YES, YES, YES, THAT'S VERY INTERESTING, MY DEAR JOSIE. BUT SNAPPER CAN'T –

BeeBee interrupts and says, SNAPPY.

Willy says, YES, YES. SNAPPY, NEEDS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Snappy eats the rest of the stems off Willy’s tomato. Willy grabs a shovel. He dumps the tomato and radish out of the wheelbarrow and digs a hole beside Snappy. Willy jumps into the hole. BeeBee looks down the hole and turns to Snappy.

BeeBee says, DON'T YOU WORRY, SNAPPY. WE'RE GOING TO FIND YOU THE PERFECT NEW SPOT.

Josie sits beside the hole and knits.

[Knitting needles clicking]

Willy pops out of the ground under Snappy with Snappy on his shovel. He places Snappy in the wheelbarrow.

[Willy chuckling]

Willy says, LET'S ROLL!

Josie walks over with a red hat.

Josie says, THERE. FOR YOU, SNAPPY.

Josie places the hat on Snappy.

[Josie giggling]

BeeBee cheers, YAY! LET'S GO FIND YOU A NEW HOME, SNAPPY!

BeeBee, Josie and Willy leave with Snappy in the wheelbarrow.

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Outside the garden, Snappy takes Willy’s hat. Willy reaches for his hat. Snappy places the hat back on Willy’s head. Willy continues pushing the wheelbarrow. In a lush field with trees, bushes and flowers, BeeBee jumps around excitedly. Willy and Josie look around. They share a look, nod, and then jump in surprise. Snappy rips a flower’s petals off its stem. Josie and Willy shake their heads and continue their search with BeeBee. In an open field, Snappy steals Willy’s hat. Wearing his hat again, Willy pushes Snappy into a forest with mushrooms. Josie and Willy share a look, smile, and nod.

[Snappy roaring]

Josie and Willy jump in surprise. Snappy gnaws on a small mushroom. Josie and Willy shake their heads. In a pond, Josie, Willy, BeeBee and Snappy float across the water on the wheelbarrow toward a duck family. Willy and Josie share a look and nod.

[Quacking]

[Snappy roaring]

Snappy gnaws on a duckling.

[Frantic quacking]

Willy takes the duckling from Snappy and sends it back to its family. Josie and Willy shake their heads. In a forest with lush trees, BeeBee looks around, then pauses.

[Snappy roaring]

BeeBee turns and says, HUH?

The trees separate and reveal a trail.

BeeBee says, OOH.

BeeBee, Josie and Willy follow the trail with Snappy.

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

On a farm, the sun shines brightly over corn stalks and hay bales.

BeeBee says, YOU'RE JUST GOING TO LOVE IT HERE, SNAPPY!

In a cornfield with Mrs. Frizzle, who has long red hair and wears a straw hat and blue overalls, BeeBee gazes up at Snappy. Willy and Josie stand behind Mrs. Frizzle.

Mrs. Frizzle says, WE ARE SO DELIGHTED THAT YOUR PLANT WILL BE STAYING WITH US, BEEBEE!

[BeeBee giggling]

BeeBee hugs Snappy.

BeeBee says, THANK YOU, MRS. FRIZZLE. I'LL COME AND VISIT YOU EVERY DAY.

Willy says, PERHAPS NOT EVERY DAY.

Josie says, I KNOW THIS IS HARD, BUT IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO, BEEBEE.

Willy nods.

[Snappy roaring softly]

BeeBee says, OKAY! SEE YOU LATER, SNAPPY!

BeeBee leaves with Josie and Willy.

[Snappy roaring loudly]

Mrs. Frizzle yelps, WHOA! EASY!

Corn falls off stalks in the cornfield.

Mrs. Frizzle says, EXCUSE ME?

BeeBee, Willy and Josie return to the cornfield.

Mrs. Frizzle says, YEAH. I DON'T THINK SNAPPY CAN STAY WITH US AFTER ALL.

Snappy gnaws on a cornstalk. Josie frowns.

BeeBee cheers, YAY!

[Celebratory music briefly plays]

Willy looks annoyed. Among snowy mountains, Willy follows BeeBee with Snappy in the wheelbarrow.

Josie looks around and says, THE SNOWY MOUNTAINS? ARE YOU SURE, WILLY?

BeeBee, Willy and Josie walk up a snowy mountain with Snappy.

[Willy chuckling]

Willy says, OH, YES. THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO GET RID OF, I MEAN, TO SET SNAPPY UP FOR A HAPPY LIFE.

BeeBee glances toward Willy and says, BUT IT'S SO COLD HERE.

Josie pulls a wool cloud out of the sky and starts knitting.

[Knitting needles clicking]

Josie says, THERE YOU GO. THIS SHOULD KEEP YOU WARM.

Josie ties the white wool in a bow around Snappy and places a pink ball of wool on Snappy’s nose. She adds a white ball to Snappy’s vine like a tail. At the top of the mountain, a snowlly wearing a blue hat and a snowlly wearing a green hat pop out of a tree.

The snowlly wearing a blue hat says, WELL, WELL, WELL. A COUPLE OF WOOLLY WOOLLIES, AND…

The snowlly wearing a blue hat narrows its eyes.

The snowlly wearing a green hat says, AND, UH, UM, UH…

The snowlly wearing a blue hat slides down the tree and stares at Willy, Josie, BeeBee and Snappy.

The snowlly wearing a green hat asks, WHAT'S THAT?

Willy pulls Snappy out of the wheelbarrow. He places Snappy in front of the Snowllys.

Willy says, IT'S A GIFT FOR YOU. BYE.

Willy waves and grabs the wheelbarrow.

BeeBee says, OKAY. SEE YOU LATER, SNAPPY!

BeeBee climbs into the wheelbarrow, and Willy turns it around.

The snowlly wearing a blue hat says, EXCUSE ME?!

The snowlly wearing a blue hat grips a sled in Snappy’s jaws.

The snowlly wearing a blue hat says, I DON'T THINK THIS THING –

Snappy eats the sled, and the snowlly wearing a blue hat flips in the air.

The snowlly wearing a blue hat yelps, OW!

The snowlly wearing a blue hat holds itself out of Snappy’s mouth.

The snowlly wearing a blue hat says, WOULD YOU LET GO OF ME?

[Snappy roaring softly]

[Snowlly wearing a blue hat laughing]

The snowlly wearing a blue hat says, IT CAN'T STAY HERE WITH US.

Willy, BeeBee and Josie stare at the snowllys.

BeeBee cheers, YAY!

[Celebratory music briefly plays]

Josie frowns. Willy looks annoyed. In a sunny field with a pink flower patch, Willy drags the wheelbarrow carrying Snappy.

[Willy panting and groaning]

BeeBee feeds Snappy a white ball of wool from his hat.

Willy says, OH, THERE MUST BE SOMEWHERE THIS MONSTER, I MEAN, MONSTROUSLY BEAUTIFUL PLANT WILL BE HAPPY.

BeeBee says, FINDING SNAPPY THE RIGHT PLACE TO LIVE IS HARD. HUH, GRANDMA?

Josie says, WELL, SHE JUST NEEDS LOTS OF SUN, WATER AND –

Willy suddenly stops and says, BUNNIES!

Bunnies sleep in the field ahead.

BeeBee says, LOTS OF BUNNIES?

Willy says, ALL ABOARD, WOOLLIES!

BeeBee stands on Snappy. Josie stands on the wheelbarrow. Willy pushes the wheelbarrow away from the bunnies.

[Screaming]

[BeeBee giggling]

Willy runs out of the flower patch.

[Screaming]

[BeeBee giggling]

Willy runs to the edge of a river. Willy, Josie, and BeeBee grab orange, inflatable, tube-like flowers and cross the water with Snappy.

[Screaming]

A bunny appears from behind a plant. In the water, BeeBee climbs over rocks.

[BeeBee giggling]

Willy runs across the water pushing Josie and Snappy in the wheelbarrow.

[Both screaming]

In a field, Willy follows BeeBee with Josie and Snappy in the wheelbarrow. They run through a carrot garden.

[BeeBee giggling]

[Willy and Josie screaming]

A bunny appears from behind a carrot. Willy rams into a carrot, and Josie falls off the wheelbarrow.

[Josie grunting]

Two bunnies pop up from behind the carrot.

Josie looks around and says, HUH? HMM. I DON'T REMEMBER THE WOOLPICKLE RAINFOREST LOOKING LIKE THIS.

Willy says, WELL, IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE IN A WHILE, AND –

A bunny pops up near BeeBee, Josie and Willy.

Willy says, HMM?

Josie says, I THINK WE'RE ON...

Willy says, ...BUNNY ISLAND!

[Dramatic music plays]

Willy says, SWEET FLUFFY EARS!

Willy climbs to the top of a giant carrot sticking out of the river.

Willy says, WE'RE DOOMED.

Willy slides down the carrot.

With Josie and BeeBee, Willy says, OOO. HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO US?

A group of bunnies climb up a carrot and look down at Snappy, who has a wool bunny-like nose, ears and tail. Snappy sniffs one of the bunnies.

[Snappy sniffing]

Josie says, OH! IT LOOKS LIKE SNAPPY AND THE BUNNIES ARE FAST FRIENDS.

[Snappy sighing contentedly]

Willy says, FRIENDS? WITH BUNNIES?

Willy glances at Snappy and the bunnies. One of the bunnies feeds Snappy a carrot top off a carrot.

BeeBee smiles and says, I THINK SNAPPY WILL BE VERY HAPPY HERE. SHE HAS SUN, WATER, FOOD AND FRIENDS.

Snappy gnaws on the carrot top. Willy takes Snappy out of the wheelbarrow, and BeeBee grabs a shovel. Josie pushes the wheelbarrow, and the bunnies follow them all to a clearing. Willy and Josie look around. They share a glance, a smile, and a nod.

BeeBee cheers, YAY!

BeeBee digs a hole. He and Willy plant Snappy in the clearing.

BeeBee says, OKAY! SEE YOU LATER!

BeeBee hugs Snappy. A bunny hops on top of Snappy.

Willy says, ALL ABOARD, MY WOOLLIES.

Josie jumps into the wheelbarrow.

Willy says, OH, THIS PLACE GIVES ME THE WILLIES.

BeeBee waves to Snappy and joins Josie.

[BeeBee giggling]

BeeBee says, THE WILLIES.

Willy pushes the wheelbarrow and leaves with BeeBee and Josie.

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

The cardboard curtains close. In the playroom, Lila and Marco lift the cardboard theatre off the pile of Woollys and the clothespin wowiewoo and set it against the wall.

Marco says, MAYBE MY PLANT WILL BE HAPPIER IN DAD’S GARDEN.

Marco places the clothespin on his seedling box.

Lila says, SO IT CAN GROW BIG AND STRONG, JUST LIKE SNAPPY.

[Lila and Marco giggling]

[Upbeat music plays]
