The Mixmups’ Magical Wooden Mixing Spoon bursts out of the Magical Mixing Box.
The Mixmups sing, MIXMUPS, HERE COME THE MIXMUPS! MIXMUPS, MIX-MIX, THE MIXMUPS!
Mixmups friends Pockets, Giggle and Spin smile.
The Mixmups sing, MIXMUPS, HERE COME THE MIXMUPS.
Pockets, a blue bear with red pockets, wears glasses. She is partially sighted and uses a guide dog, Yapette. Spin, a red rabbit, has long ears and antennae on the sides of his head. Giggle, an orange and yellow-striped cat, uses an orange and blue wheelchair. Giggle’s pet guinea pig, Roller Guinea, wears roller boots.
[Chimes]
The Mixmups sing, AH, OOH-OOH-OOH-OOH.
The Mixmups’ magical neighbour, the grey Lucky Loover Bird, blows magic sparkles from her trunky beak down to the Mixmups and lights up the Magical Mixing Spoon.
The Mixmups sing, MIX UP THE MAGIC ONE, TWO, THREE!
The Mixmups mix up toys in the Magical Mixing Box.
The Mixmups sing, MIX IT, TWIRL IT, WHIRL IT, HEY! TIME FOR SOME MAGIC, ADVENTURE AND PLAY. MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, HEY, HEY, HEY!
The Mixmups are sucked into Adventure World in the Magical Mixing Box where they go on different adventures together.

In a dark blue sky, the Moodly Clouds smile. Wingles fly through the rain in Mixington Valley.
The Lucky Loover Bird narrates, IN MIXINGTON VALLEY, THE MIXMUPS PLAY. WHAT KIND OF ADVENTURE WILL THEY MIX UP TODAY?
The Lucky Loover Bird sits on her cupboard tree swing at the top of the hill facing the Mixmups’ house. Text reads, “The Happy Hat. Story by Rebecca Atkinson. Script by Deborah Macdonald.” In Pockets, Giggle and Spin’s living room, Pockets stands on one side of a box with Spin on the other. Yapette sits at Pockets’ feet. Spin sticks his head in the box.
[Spin giggling]
[Rustling]
Spin says, LOOK AT ALL THESE HATS!
Spin stands up straight.
[Yapette yipping]
Pockets puts on an orange bonnet from the box.
Pockets says, I FEEL REALLY TIRED IN THIS SLEEP BONNET.
Pockets tilts her head and closes her eyes.
[Pockets pretending to snore]
[Spin giggling]
Spin puts on a pink sun hat from the bucket.
Spin says, I FEEL LIKE GOING ON HOLIDAY WITH THIS HAT. EVEN THOUGH IT'S RAINING.
By one of the windows, Giggle gazes at the rain with Roller Guinea on her lap.
Giggle says, HMM. WE CAN'T PLAY OUTSIDE.
Giggle turns away from the window.
Giggle says, IT'S A FED-UP FEELING DAY TODAY, ROLLER GUINEA.
[Roller Guinea chittering sadly]
Giggle joins Pockets and Spin. Spin wears a yellow hard hat.
[Pockets and Spin giggling]
[Giggle sighing]
Giggle says, HI.
Roller Guinea leaps off Giggle’s lap and dives under a purple bucket hat.
Pockets asks, WHAT'S WRONG, GIGGLE?
Giggle says, I'M JUST HAVING A FED-UP FEELING DAY.
Spin says, YOU NEED A HAPPY HAT!
[Giggle sighing]
Giggle says, A HAT WON'T MAKE ME HAPPY TODAY. I'M TOO FED UP.
Pockets says, YES, IT WILL. A HAT CAN CHANGE THE WAY YOU FEEL. THIS HAT MADE ME SLEEPY.
Pockets pats the bonnet.
Spin says, AND THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE BUILDING THINGS.
Spin taps the hard hat.
Spin says, OH, I KNOW! LET'S MAKE SUPER HAPPY HAT ADVENTURE!
Pockets says, YES! AND FIND A HAT TO MAKE GIGGLE HAPPY.
Spin cheers, YEAH!
Pockets cheers, YAY!
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
In the window of her house, the Lucky Loover Bird says, TIME TO PLAY!
[Rain spattering]
The Lucky Loover Bird rides her cup elevator down to a blue cupboard in the tree. She opens the cupboard, revealing a purple hat with a big pink bow, a blue feather and grey ribbons.
[Cupboard squeaking]
[Cheerful music plays]
Pockets, Giggle and Spin gather around the Magical Mixing Box.
Pockets says, SLEEP BONNET.
Pockets drops the orange bonnet into the Magical Mixing Box.
Spin says, AND SUNHAT.
Spin drops the pink sun hat into the Magical Mixing Box.
Giggle says, UM. MAYBE SOME, UM, HAPPY NOISES?
Spin says, OH, YEAH!
Pockets says, YES!
[Yapette yipping]
Pockets cheers into the Magical Mixing Box, WAHOO!
Spin cheers into the box, YAY!
Giggle says, WOW.
Spin cheers, WHOO-HOO!
[Spin chuckling]
[Pockets giggling]
Pockets asks, WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED?
Standing beside her swing, the Lucky Loover Bird blows magic sparkles from her trunky beak.
[Chimes]
The magic sparkles swirl around Pockets, Giggle and Spin.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin say, MAGIC SPARKLES!
The Magical Mixing Spoon lights up with magic sparkles. Giggle looks sad.
[Exciting music plays]
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIX UP THE MAGIC ONE, TWO, THREE!
Pockets mixes everything inside the Magical Mixing Box with the Magical Mixing Spoon.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIX UP THE MAGIC, YAHOO, YIPPEE! MIX IT, TWIRL IT, WHIRL IT, HEY! TIME FOR SOME MAGIC, ADVENTURE, AND PLAY!
The magic sucks Pockets, Giggle, Spin, Yapette and Roller Guinea into the Magical Mixing Box. The Magical Mixing Box disappears.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, YEAH!
Outside the cupboard tree, the Lucky Loover Bird is gone, and her blue cupboard is empty. In Adventure World, the Magical Mixing Box appears in a space.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, MIX UP THE MAGIC ONE, TWO, THREE, YEAH!
Pockets, Giggle, Spin, Yapette and Roller Guinea fly out of the Magical Mixing Box with the Magical Mixing Spoon. Pockets catches the spoon, and the box unfolds across the blank open space. Walls of a hat shop pop up. Shelves behind a cash register display a pirate hat, a crown, and a chef’s hat. By the store entrance, stands display hats including a winter hat, a teapot hat and a plate of spaghetti hat.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin say, WOW!
[Roller Guinea chittering excitedly]
Spin says, OH, LOOK AT ALL OF THESE HATS!
The Lucky Loover Bird walks into the shop wearing her purple hat. A red Wingle and a yellow Wingle follow her through the door.
The Lucky Loover Bird says, KOO-WEE! ONLY ME!
[Wingles chattering]
Pockets asks, WHO ARE YOU?
The Lucky Loover Bird says, TODAY I AM A FAMOUS HATMAKER. WELCOME TO MY SPECTACULAR HAT SHOP! I HAVE FANCY HATS, LITTLE HATS, DOTTY HATS, FLUFFY HATS!
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover’s purple hat changes into a small orange hat, a large blue polka dot hat, and a fuzzy pink hat.
Spin asks, HAVE YOU GOT A HAPPY HAT?
Roller Guinea rolls up to Spin.
Spin says, WE'RE LOOKING FOR A HAT TO CHEER UP GIGGLE.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, OF COURSE! WE HAVE EVERY KIND OF HAT YOU COULD THINK OF. EVEN MINIS FOR GUINEAS.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird puts a small light blue bowler hat on Roller Guinea.
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, MY HATS CAN MAKE YOU FEEL ALL SORTS OF FEELINGS AND YOU'LL KNOW WHEN YOU'VE FOUND THE RIGHT ONE BECAUSE YOU WILL FEEL FABULOUS IN IT.
Pockets and Giggle join Spin with Yapette.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, TAKE A LOOK AROUND. TRY SOME ON.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin look around the shop. Spin approaches a fuzzy white hat that looks like half a snowball.
Spin says, OH, GIGGLE. TRY THIS ONE!
Spin puts the fuzzy white hat on Giggle. Giggle shivers.
Giggle says, BRR! THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL COLD.
[Wind gusting]
Pockets says, OKAY, UM…
Pockets looks at a furry off-white hat.
Pockets asks, HOW ABOUT THIS ONE THEN?
Spin takes the fuzzy white hat from Giggle. Pockets puts the furry off-white hat on Giggle.
[Giggle groaning]
Giggle says, THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL ITCHY AND SCRATCHY.
Spin walks over to the spaghetti plate hat.
Spin says OH, HO! THIS LOOKS FUN! TRY THIS ONE.
Giggle smiles. She passes Pockets the furry off-white hat and tries on the spaghetti plate hat.
Giggle says, AND THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL HUNGRY.
Giggle frowns and takes off the spaghetti plate hat.
[Giggle groaning]
Giggle says, NONE OF THESE HATS ARE MAKING ME FEEL HAPPY.
Spin says, OH, UH.
Spin looks around the shop.
Spin says, OH!
Spin grabs a straw hat.
Spin asks, UH, HOW ABOUT THIS ONE THEN?
[Giggle groaning]
Giggle says, I DON'T KNOW.
Giggle shakes her head.
Pockets says, GO ON, GIGGLE. TRY IT ON.
Spin throws the straw hat on Giggle’s head.
Giggle yelps, WA!
Spin takes the spaghetti plate hat from Giggle.
[Chimes]
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird walks over and says, SO? HOW DO MY HATS MAKE YOU FEEL?
Giggle says, I FEEL…
[Magical music plays]
Giggle slowly smiles.
[Giggle gasping]
Giggle says, I FEEL HAPPY!
Flowers, stars, a butterfly, paintbrushes, pencil crayons, a lion and a giraffe appear on the straw hat.
[Bright, cheerful music plays]
Giggle says, THIS IS THE HAPPY HAT! I'M THE HAPPIEST HAPPY EVER!
Giggle spins around.
[Giggle laughing]
[Yapette yipping]
Giggle cheers, WAHOO!
[Pockets and Spin giggling]
Pockets cheers, YAY!
Spin cheers, WAHOO!
Pockets puts the furry off-white hat on a shelf.
Pockets asks, CAN I HAVE A GO?
Pockets reaches for the Happy straw Hat.
Giggle holds up her paw and says, NOT YET, POCKETS. I DON'T WANT TO STOP FEELING HAPPY.
Pockets frowns.
Giggle cheers, WAHOO!
[Yapette grunting]
Giggle cheers, YEAH! WEE!
[Roller Guinea chittering]
Roller Guinea follows Yapette around the store. Pockets smiles softly at Yapette.
[Spin laughing]
Spin says, IT'S MY TURN NOW. YOU CAN HAVE THE HUNGRY HAT.
Giggle says, I DON'T WANT THE HUNGRY HAT. I WANT MY HAPPY HAT!
[Giggle giggling]
Giggle rolls past Spin. Spin jumps back, and Giggle spins her chair.
[Giggle cheering]
Spin frowns.
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
Giggle cheers, YAY! WAHOO!
[Giggle giggling]
Giggle cheers, WAHOO!
Roller Guinea follows Giggle around the store. As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird walks over to Spin and Pockets.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, I HAVE LOTS OF OTHER HATS.
Pockets says, UH, NO THANKS.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird frowns.
Giggle says, WATCH ME, EVERYONE! WATCH!
Giggle dances. Pockets, Spin, Yapette, the Lucky Loover Bird, as the Hatmaker, look sad.
[Poofing]
The flowers, stars, butterfly, paintbrushes, pencil crayons, lion and giraffe on the Happy Hat disappear.
[Pockets and Spin sighing sadly]
Giggle says, WAIT. THE HAPPY HAT ISN'T MAKING ME FEEL HAPPY ANYMORE. WHERE HAS ALL THE HAPPINESS GONE?
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird walks over to Giggle.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, WELL, IT WAS WORKING A MOMENT AGO. THERE MUST BE SOMETHING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE THE HAPPY HAT WORK AGAIN.
Thought bubbles show Giggle wearing the Happy Hat.
Giggle says, HMM. IT WAS WORKING WHEN I FIRST PUT IT ON. IT GAVE ME THE HAPPIEST HAPPY FEELING. AND IT WAS WORKING WHEN I WAS DANCING. I FELT HAPPY THEN, TOO! BUT WHEN EVERYONE STARTED TO LOOK SAD, IT STOPPED WORKING.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, MAYBE SOMETHING TOOK THE HAPPINESS AWAY.
[Roller Guinea chittering sadly]
Pockets says, I WISH I TRIED THE HAPPY HAT ON BEFORE IT STOPPED WORKING.
Spin says, ME TOO.
Giggle says, OH, NO! I'VE MADE POCKETS AND SPIN SAD NOW. THAT'S WHY IT'S NOT WORKING.
Giggle rolls herself over to Pockets and Spin.
Giggle says, I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT TO YOU BECAUSE IT MADE ME HAPPY. BUT YOU WANTED TO HELP ME FEEL HAPPY WHEN I WAS SAD, SO I SHOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME FOR YOU.
Giggle takes off the Happy Hat.
Giggle says, I'M SORRY YOU FELT SAD. I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY AGAIN.
Giggle passes the Happy Hat to Pockets. Pockets puts on the Happy Hat and smiles.
[Chimes]
Pockets says, OOH. IT'S WORKING AGAIN!
[Magical music plays]
Pockets says, I FEEL HAPPY!
The flowers, stars, butterfly, paintbrushes, pencil crayons, lion and giraffe appear on the Happy Hat.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, OOH-HOO! I WONDER WHY IT'S COMING BACK.
[Giggle gasping]
Giggle says, MAYBE HAPPINESS ONLY LASTS WHEN YOU SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
Spin says, OH, YEAH! LET'S GIVE IT A GO!
[Cheerful upbeat music plays]
Pockets puts the Happy Hat on Spin.
[Spin giggling]
Spin starts dancing. Pockets, Giggle, the Lucky Loover Bird, as the Hatmaker, and the Wingles join her.
Spin cheers, YEAH!
Spin puts the Happy Hat on the Lucky Loover Bird, as the Hatmaker, and she smiles.
[Wingles chattering]
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird throws the Happy Hat on the orange Wingle.
[Orange Wingle chattering happily]
The Happy Hat lands on Yapette.
[Yapette yipping happily]
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
The Happy Hat completely covers Roller Guinea. Giggle wears the Happy Hat, and everyone continues dancing.
[Wingles chattering]
Two Moodle Clouds smile.
Later in the store, Giggle says, WE DID IT! SHARING THE HAPPY HAT WITH MY FRIENDS WAS MUCH BETTER THAN KEEPING IT ALL TO MYSELF.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, AS I SAY, THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER WAY.
[Poofing]
The Magical Mixing Spoon appears in Pockets’ chest pocket.
Pockets grabs the spoon and says, IT'S TIME TO GO HOME.
[Exciting magical music plays]
The hat shop's walls collapse and fold into the Magical Mixing Box. The Magical Mixing Spoon flies out of Pockets’ paw, and sprinkles magic sparkles around Pockets, Pockets, Giggle, Yapette and Roller Guinea. The magic sucks them back into the Magical Mixing Box.
As herself, the Lucky Loover Bird waves and says, TOODLE-LOO!
The Magical Mixing Box disappears from the now-empty space and reappears inside Pockets, Giggle and Spin’s living room. The magic sparkles carry Pockets, Giggle, Spin, Yapette and Roller Guinea out of the box and onto the couch. Yapette lands on her dog bed, and Roller Guinea lands beside her. The Magical Mixing Spoon pops out of the box into Pockets’ paw.
Giggle says, THAT WAS A GREAT HAT ADVENTURE. IT REALLY CHEERED ME UP.
Giggle glances toward the table.
Giggle says, OH, WHAT'S THAT?
Giggle rolls herself over to the table and looks at a hat made from an umbrella.
Pockets says, IT'S A HAT.
Pockets and Spin join Giggle.
[Spin chuckling]
Spin says, AN UMBRELLA HAT!
Spin puts on the umbrella hat and says, IF WE WEAR THIS, WE CAN GO OUT AND PLAY IN THE RAIN!
[Spin groaning]
Spin groans, BUT THERE'S ONLY ONE.
Giggle says, IT'S OKAY. WE CAN SHARE IT!
Giggle and Pockets put their arms around Spin, and they all cheer, YAY!
Pockets says, I WONDER WHO LEFT THIS HERE?
[Rain spattering]
On the hill, the Lucky Loover Bird returns her purple hat to the blue cupboard in her tree and closes the door.
[Gentle music plays]
[Door squeaking]
The Lucky Loover Bird rides the cup elevator to the ground and walks toward her swing.
The Lucky Loover Bird says, MIXING UP ADVENTURES NEAR AND FAR, BUT HOME IS WHERE THE MIXMUPS ARE.
The Lucky Loover Bird hops on her swings and looks down at the Mixmups’ house below. Outside Mixmups’ house, Spin stands between Pockets and Giggle, wearing the umbrella hat. Roller Guinea stands at Spin’s feet. Yapette stands in front of Pockets.
The Lucky Loover Bird says, BYE, MIXMUPS!

Pockets, Giggle and Spin gather around the Magical Mixing Box.
Pockets says, SLEEP BONNET.
Pockets drops the orange bonnet into the Magical Mixing Box.
Spin says, AND SUNHAT.
Spin drops the pink sun hat into the Magical Mixing Box.
Giggle says, UM. MAYBE SOME, UM, HAPPY NOISES?
Spin says, OH, YEAH!
Pockets says, YES!
[Yapette yipping]
Pockets cheers into the Magical Mixing Box, WAHOO!
Spin cheers into the box, YAY!
Giggle says, WOW.
Spin cheers, WHOO-HOO!
[Spin chuckling]
[Pockets giggling]
Pockets asks, WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED?
Standing beside her swing, the Lucky Loover Bird blows magic sparkles from her trunky beak.
[Chimes]
The magic sparkles swirl around Pockets, Giggle and Spin.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin say, MAGIC SPARKLES!
The Magical Mixing Spoon lights up with magic sparkles. Giggle looks sad.
[Exciting music plays]
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIX UP THE MAGIC ONE, TWO, THREE!
Pockets mixes everything inside the Magical Mixing Box with the Magical Mixing Spoon.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIX UP THE MAGIC, YAHOO, YIPPEE! MIX IT, TWIRL IT, WHIRL IT, HEY! TIME FOR SOME MAGIC, ADVENTURE, AND PLAY!
The magic sucks Pockets, Giggle, Spin, Yapette and Roller Guinea into the Magical Mixing Box. The Magical Mixing Box disappears.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, YEAH!
Outside the cupboard tree, the Lucky Loover Bird is gone, and her blue cupboard is empty. In Adventure World, the Magical Mixing Box appears in a space.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin sing, MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, MIXMUPS, MIX UP THE MAGIC ONE, TWO, THREE, YEAH!
Pockets, Giggle, Spin, Yapette and Roller Guinea fly out of the Magical Mixing Box with the Magical Mixing Spoon. Pockets catches the spoon, and the box unfolds across the blank open space. Walls of a hat shop pop up. Shelves behind a cash register display a pirate hat, a crown, and a chef’s hat. By the store entrance, stands display hats including a winter hat, a teapot hat and a plate of spaghetti hat.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin say, WOW!
[Roller Guinea chittering excitedly]
Spin says, OH, LOOK AT ALL OF THESE HATS!
The Lucky Loover Bird walks into the shop wearing her purple hat. A red Wingle and a yellow Wingle follow her through the door.
The Lucky Loover Bird says, KOO-WEE! ONLY ME!
[Wingles chattering]
Pockets asks, WHO ARE YOU?
The Lucky Loover Bird says, TODAY I AM A FAMOUS HATMAKER. WELCOME TO MY SPECTACULAR HAT SHOP! I HAVE FANCY HATS, LITTLE HATS, DOTTY HATS, FLUFFY HATS!
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover’s purple hat changes into a small orange hat, a large blue polka dot hat, and a fuzzy pink hat.
Spin asks, HAVE YOU GOT A HAPPY HAT?
Roller Guinea rolls up to Spin.
Spin says, WE'RE LOOKING FOR A HAT TO CHEER UP GIGGLE.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, OF COURSE! WE HAVE EVERY KIND OF HAT YOU COULD THINK OF. EVEN MINIS FOR GUINEAS.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird puts a small light blue bowler hat on Roller Guinea.
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, MY HATS CAN MAKE YOU FEEL ALL SORTS OF FEELINGS AND YOU'LL KNOW WHEN YOU'VE FOUND THE RIGHT ONE BECAUSE YOU WILL FEEL FABULOUS IN IT.
Pockets and Giggle join Spin with Yapette.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, TAKE A LOOK AROUND. TRY SOME ON.
Pockets, Giggle and Spin look around the shop. Spin approaches a fuzzy white hat that looks like half a snowball.
Spin says, OH, GIGGLE. TRY THIS ONE!
Spin puts the fuzzy white hat on Giggle. Giggle shivers.
Giggle says, BRR! THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL COLD.
[Wind gusting]
Pockets says, OKAY, UM…
Pockets looks at a furry off-white hat.
Pockets asks, HOW ABOUT THIS ONE THEN?
Spin takes the fuzzy white hat from Giggle. Pockets puts the furry off-white hat on Giggle.
[Giggle groaning]
Giggle says, THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL ITCHY AND SCRATCHY.
Spin walks over to the spaghetti plate hat.
Spin says OH, HO! THIS LOOKS FUN! TRY THIS ONE.
Giggle smiles. She passes Pockets the furry off-white hat and tries on the spaghetti plate hat.
Giggle says, AND THIS HAT MAKES ME FEEL HUNGRY.
Giggle frowns and takes off the spaghetti plate hat.
[Giggle groaning]
Giggle says, NONE OF THESE HATS ARE MAKING ME FEEL HAPPY.
Spin says, OH, UH.
Spin looks around the shop.
Spin says, OH!
Spin grabs a straw hat.
Spin asks, UH, HOW ABOUT THIS ONE THEN?
[Giggle groaning]
Giggle says, I DON'T KNOW.
Giggle shakes her head.
Pockets says, GO ON, GIGGLE. TRY IT ON.
Spin throws the straw hat on Giggle’s head.
Giggle yelps, WA!
Spin takes the spaghetti plate hat from Giggle.
[Chimes]
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird walks over and says, SO? HOW DO MY HATS MAKE YOU FEEL?
Giggle says, I FEEL…
[Magical music plays]
Giggle slowly smiles.
[Giggle gasping]
Giggle says, I FEEL HAPPY!
Flowers, stars, a butterfly, paintbrushes, pencil crayons, a lion and a giraffe appear on the straw hat.
[Bright, cheerful music plays]
Giggle says, THIS IS THE HAPPY HAT! I'M THE HAPPIEST HAPPY EVER!
Giggle spins around.
[Giggle laughing]
[Yapette yipping]
Giggle cheers, WAHOO!
[Pockets and Spin giggling]
Pockets cheers, YAY!
Spin cheers, WAHOO!
Pockets puts the furry off-white hat on a shelf.
Pockets asks, CAN I HAVE A GO?
Pockets reaches for the Happy straw Hat.
Giggle holds up her paw and says, NOT YET, POCKETS. I DON'T WANT TO STOP FEELING HAPPY.
Pockets frowns.
Giggle cheers, WAHOO!
[Yapette grunting]
Giggle cheers, YEAH! WEE!
[Roller Guinea chittering]
Roller Guinea follows Yapette around the store. Pockets smiles softly at Yapette.
[Spin laughing]
Spin says, IT'S MY TURN NOW. YOU CAN HAVE THE HUNGRY HAT.
Giggle says, I DON'T WANT THE HUNGRY HAT. I WANT MY HAPPY HAT!
[Giggle giggling]
Giggle rolls past Spin. Spin jumps back, and Giggle spins her chair.
[Giggle cheering]
Spin frowns.
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
Giggle cheers, YAY! WAHOO!
[Giggle giggling]
Giggle cheers, WAHOO!
Roller Guinea follows Giggle around the store. As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird walks over to Spin and Pockets.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, I HAVE LOTS OF OTHER HATS.
Pockets says, UH, NO THANKS.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird frowns.
Giggle says, WATCH ME, EVERYONE! WATCH!
Giggle dances. Pockets, Spin, Yapette, the Lucky Loover Bird, as the Hatmaker, look sad.
[Poofing]
The flowers, stars, butterfly, paintbrushes, pencil crayons, lion and giraffe on the Happy Hat disappear.
[Pockets and Spin sighing sadly]
Giggle says, WAIT. THE HAPPY HAT ISN'T MAKING ME FEEL HAPPY ANYMORE. WHERE HAS ALL THE HAPPINESS GONE?
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird walks over to Giggle.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, WELL, IT WAS WORKING A MOMENT AGO. THERE MUST BE SOMETHING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE THE HAPPY HAT WORK AGAIN.
Thought bubbles show Giggle wearing the Happy Hat.
Giggle says, HMM. IT WAS WORKING WHEN I FIRST PUT IT ON. IT GAVE ME THE HAPPIEST HAPPY FEELING. AND IT WAS WORKING WHEN I WAS DANCING. I FELT HAPPY THEN, TOO! BUT WHEN EVERYONE STARTED TO LOOK SAD, IT STOPPED WORKING.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, MAYBE SOMETHING TOOK THE HAPPINESS AWAY.
[Roller Guinea chittering sadly]
Pockets says, I WISH I TRIED THE HAPPY HAT ON BEFORE IT STOPPED WORKING.
Spin says, ME TOO.
Giggle says, OH, NO! I'VE MADE POCKETS AND SPIN SAD NOW. THAT'S WHY IT'S NOT WORKING.
Giggle rolls herself over to Pockets and Spin.
Giggle says, I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT TO YOU BECAUSE IT MADE ME HAPPY. BUT YOU WANTED TO HELP ME FEEL HAPPY WHEN I WAS SAD, SO I SHOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME FOR YOU.
Giggle takes off the Happy Hat.
Giggle says, I'M SORRY YOU FELT SAD. I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY AGAIN.
Giggle passes the Happy Hat to Pockets. Pockets puts on the Happy Hat and smiles.
[Chimes]
Pockets says, OOH. IT'S WORKING AGAIN!
[Magical music plays]
Pockets says, I FEEL HAPPY!
The flowers, stars, butterfly, paintbrushes, pencil crayons, lion and giraffe appear on the Happy Hat.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, OOH-HOO! I WONDER WHY IT'S COMING BACK.
[Giggle gasping]
Giggle says, MAYBE HAPPINESS ONLY LASTS WHEN YOU SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
Spin says, OH, YEAH! LET'S GIVE IT A GO!
[Cheerful upbeat music plays]
Pockets puts the Happy Hat on Spin.
[Spin giggling]
Spin starts dancing. Pockets, Giggle, the Lucky Loover Bird, as the Hatmaker, and the Wingles join her.
Spin cheers, YEAH!
Spin puts the Happy Hat on the Lucky Loover Bird, as the Hatmaker, and she smiles.
[Wingles chattering]
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird throws the Happy Hat on the orange Wingle.
[Orange Wingle chattering happily]
The Happy Hat lands on Yapette.
[Yapette yipping happily]
[Roller Guinea chittering happily]
The Happy Hat completely covers Roller Guinea. Giggle wears the Happy Hat, and everyone continues dancing.
[Wingles chattering]
Two Moodle Clouds smile.
Later in the store, Giggle says, WE DID IT! SHARING THE HAPPY HAT WITH MY FRIENDS WAS MUCH BETTER THAN KEEPING IT ALL TO MYSELF.
As the Hatmaker, the Lucky Loover Bird says, AS I SAY, THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER WAY.
[Poofing]
The Magical Mixing Spoon appears in Pockets’ chest pocket.
Pockets grabs the spoon and says, IT'S TIME TO GO HOME.
[Exciting magical music plays]
The hat shop's walls collapse and fold into the Magical Mixing Box. The Magical Mixing Spoon flies out of Pockets’ paw, and sprinkles magic sparkles around Pockets, Pockets, Giggle, Yapette and Roller Guinea. The magic sucks them back into the Magical Mixing Box.
As herself, the Lucky Loover Bird waves and says, TOODLE-LOO!
The Magical Mixing Box disappears from the now-empty space and reappears inside Pockets, Giggle and Spin’s living room. The magic sparkles carry Pockets, Giggle, Spin, Yapette and Roller Guinea out of the box and onto the couch. Yapette lands on her dog bed, and Roller Guinea lands beside her. The Magical Mixing Spoon pops out of the box into Pockets’ paw.
Giggle says, THAT WAS A GREAT HAT ADVENTURE. IT REALLY CHEERED ME UP.
Giggle glances toward the table.
Giggle says, OH, WHAT'S THAT?
Giggle rolls herself over to the table and looks at a hat made from an umbrella.
Pockets says, IT'S A HAT.
Pockets and Spin join Giggle.
[Spin chuckling]
Spin says, AN UMBRELLA HAT!
Spin puts on the umbrella hat and says, IF WE WEAR THIS, WE CAN GO OUT AND PLAY IN THE RAIN!
[Spin groaning]
Spin groans, BUT THERE'S ONLY ONE.
Giggle says, IT'S OKAY. WE CAN SHARE IT!
Giggle and Pockets put their arms around Spin, and they all cheer, YAY!
Pockets says, I WONDER WHO LEFT THIS HERE?
[Rain spattering]
On the hill, the Lucky Loover Bird returns her purple hat to the blue cupboard in her tree and closes the door.
[Gentle music plays]
[Door squeaking]
The Lucky Loover Bird rides the cup elevator to the ground and walks toward her swing.
The Lucky Loover Bird says, MIXING UP ADVENTURES NEAR AND FAR, BUT HOME IS WHERE THE MIXMUPS ARE.
The Lucky Loover Bird hops on her swings and looks down at the Mixmups’ house below. Outside Mixmups’ house, Spin stands between Pockets and Giggle, wearing the umbrella hat. Roller Guinea stands at Spin’s feet. Yapette stands in front of Pockets.
The Lucky Loover Bird says, BYE, MIXMUPS!
