GIGGLE: Okay... disco glasses.
[Beep, dance music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle pushes a button on a tablet.
GIGGLE: Disco music.
[Arms whoosh, Roller Guinea chitters]
DESCRIPTION: In the bedroom, Giggle moves her wheelchair to the centre of the room and dances, with Roller Guinea dancing by her feet.
GIGGLE: Disco, go, go, go!
[Slide whistle, Spin gasps, whoosh, hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: Spin slides into the room on his knees. He stands and dances.
SPIN: Disco go-go, can we join in too? I love dancing.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets leaps into the room and twirls.
POCKETS: Us too.
[Giggle claps]
GIGGLE: You can all be in my dance troupe! We can put on a dance show!
[Slide whistle, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Spin breakdances.

POCKETS: Ooh, I'll get my tutu.

DESCRIPTION: Pockets twirls to the small bookcase beside a bed and takes her tutu off a shelf. It is white with a pink waistband and stars on the tulle.
POCKETS: Ah-ha! Here it is.
[Jump boings, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Spin leaps to Giggle and dances beside her.
SPIN: And I can dance like this! Whoo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: Giggle shakes her head.
GIGGLE: No, Spin, not like that. Like this.
[Whoosh, dance music continues, slide whistle]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle rolls her arms and then lifts her right hand. She rolls her arms and lifts her left hand. Spin dances.
SPIN: Yeah, look, I'm doing it!
GIGGLE: No, Spin, like this.

GIGGLE: We all need to do the same dance moves at the same time—

POCKETS: I know... Let's mix up a dance adventure and be in a dance show.
[Yapette barks]
GIGGLE: Yes! And learn the perfect dance routine, all together!
SPIN: Whoo-hoo!
PCOKETS: Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: Outside, Lucky Loover Bird swings.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Ooh... Time to play...
[Gentle music plays, footsteps patter, door squeaks, glasses clatter, tutu rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Lucky Loover Bird jumps to the ground and walks to the tree trunk. They open a door in the tree trunk, revealing a pink cowboy hat with a purple rhinestone band. Inside the house, the Mixmups add the disco glasses and the tutu to the mixing box.
GIGGLE: Disco glasses.
POCKETS: My dancing tutu.
SPIN: Oh! We need some dance moves too.
[Dance music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Spin puts the tablet into the box, and then the Mixmups lean over the box.
MIXMUPS CHANT: Map, two, three, four, turn, two, three, four...
[Giggle giggles]
POCKETS: Hm... What else do we need?
[Footsteps patter, gentle music plays, sparkles chime]
DESCRIPTION: On the hilltop, Lucky Loover Bird blows sparkles towards the Mixmups.
MIXMUPS: Magic sparkles!
[Yapette barks, rock music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Spin uses the wooden spoon to stir the contents of the mixing box.
MIXMUPS SING: Mix up the magic, one, two, three. Mix up the magic, whoo-hoo, yippee! Mix it, twirl it, whirl it, hey! Time for some magic, adventure and play. Mixmups, Mixmups, yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups and the wooden spoon drop into the box. The box shrinks and disappears.
[Chime, thunk, box flaps]
DESCRIPTION: The mixing box reappears in an empty white space, and the Mixmups and wooden spoon fly out. Spin catches the spoon. The box unfolds and turns into a dance studio with stars and music notes on the walls.
MIXMUPS SING: Mixmups, Mixmups, Mixmups, mix up the magic, one, two, three. Yeah.
MIXMUPS: Wow!
[Yapette and Roller Guinea vocalize]
SPIN: Ooh, what is this place?
GIGGLE: I don't know, but I like it!
[Pop, gasp]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle’s disco glasses appear on her face, Pocket’s tutu appears, and Spin wears a yellow shirt with a purple star.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Five, six, seven, eight!
[Door squeaks, slams, Lucky Loover Bird claps, dance music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Lucky Loover Bird dances into the room, wearing the cowboy hat and stops at a line on the floor. Three wingles dance in a line behind them. The wingles wave to the Mixmups.
WINGLES: Hello.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Welcome, my funky friends! Only me...
SPIN: Oh, who are you?
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Lucky Loover Bird spins.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Today, I am Mrs. Dancy Dance. And this is my dance studio.
[Pops, light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The wingles stand in a row beside Lucky Loover Bird, who is Mrs. Dancy Dance.
GIGGLE: Ooh! We've come to learn how to do the perfect dance routine! But we want to do a routine altogether, with everyone dancing the same. Like a proper dance troupe.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD AS MRS. DANCY DANCE: You mean something like this?!
[Mrs. Dancy Dance snaps her fingers, wingles mutter, dance music plays, whoosh, Mixmups giggle]
DESCRIPTION: The wingles dance in a row, lifting their arms and twirling. The Mixmups watch, and Yapette wags her tail.
SPIN: Whoa-ho! Yes.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Come on then, everybody, let's practice those moves!
DESCRIPTION: Two clouds in the sky smile at each other.
CLOUDS: Mm.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Okay, now, take your positions on this line here.
[Yapette vocalizes]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups stand in a row just behind a line on the floor.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: And spread out, so you don't bump into each other.
[Roller Guinea murmurs]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups spread out along their line.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: That's it! Right then. It goes like this...
[Soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance steps forward and then steps back.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the front. Move to the back.
[Hands clap, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance claps to their left and then to their right, then they twirl.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Clap to the left. Clap to the right. And twirl! Are we ready?
MIXMUPS: Ready!
[Roller Guinea murmurs, upbeat music plays, wheels rustle]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups step forward and step back.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the front. Move to the back.
[Roller Guinea murmurs, hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups clap to their left and then to their right.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Clap to the left. Clap to the right.
[Roller Guinea murmurs]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: And twirl!
[Roller Guinea murmurs, slide whistle, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups twirl.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Perfect! Now, with music!
[Beep, dance music plays, Roller Guinea murmurs, hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance taps a tablet screen, and the Mixmups follow the dance instructions.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Let's rock the rhythm. Move to the front. Move to the back. Clap to the left.
[Twangs, whooshes, music slows]
DESCRIPTION: Spin dances his own dance, and Pockets and Giggle look at him.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Stop! Stop! Stop!
SPIN: Oops. Sorry. I got carried away with my own dance moves.
[Dance music plays, Roller Guinea murmurs, hands clap]

[Whoosh, Yapette barks, Pockets gasps, soft music plays]

POCKETS: Oh, sorry... I couldn't help doing my ballet twirls.
[Mrs. Dancy Dance groans]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: That's okay...Let's try again.
[Beep, dance music plays]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the front.
[Roller Guinea murmurs, wheels rustle]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups follow the dance instructions.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the back. Clap to the left.
[Whooshes]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets twirls and Spin does his own dance.
SPIN: Whee!
[Laugh, clatter]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets and Spin fall on Yapette.
POCKETS: Oh!
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Oh dear!
[Roller Guinea murmurs]
DESCRIPTION: In the sky, the edges of the two clouds turn purple, and their mouths turn down.
CLOUDS: Hm...
GIGGLE: Oh, why can't we get this routine right?! It's just not working!
[Rustle]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets and Spin stand.
POCKETS: Sorry, Giggle.
SPIN: We kept getting carried away.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Hm... I wonder... If this dance isn't working, is there any other way to do a dance routine?
[Pop, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In a thought bubble, a flashback shows Spin doing his own dance.
SPIN: Uh... I followed the routine at first, but when the music started, I got carried away.
DESCRIPTION: In the thought bubble, a flashback shows Pockets twirling.
POCKETS: I tried to dance like everyone else, but I couldn't help doing my ballet twirls.

GIGGLE: And I was getting the dance right, but everyone was going a different way to me.
[Pop, Giggle sighs]

GIGGLE: We came to learn the perfect dance routine, with everyone dancing the same, but it's all gone wrong!
[Upbeat music plays, wingles vocalize]
DESCRIPTION: A wingle dances, waving their arms.
SPIN: Hey, that's a good dance!

DESCRIPTION: The second wingle twirls.
POCKETS: And that one!

GIGGLE: And that one too!

SPIN: Oh, yeah! There's lots of ways to move.

MRS. DANCY DANCE: Yeah, right! There are lots of different dance styles you could do. You've got tap dancin'...
[Shoes tap]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance dances tap.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: You've got ballet...
[Jump boings, upbeat music plays, feet whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance leaps and points her feet downwards.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: And you've got breakdancin'.
[Dance music plays, slide whistle, Roller Guinea murmurs]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance breakdances. Roller Guinea spins with them on the floor.
GIGGLE: Wait! What if it's a different kind of dance routine?
[Tape tears, tape rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle pulls the tape off the floor.
POCKETS: What are you doing?
GIGGLE: We don't need to dance to a line. What if we did a mixed-up Mixmups dance routine instead?
SPIN: Yeah! Where everyone does a different dance!
POCKETS: Yeah! We don't have to be the same.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: No, of course not! You can dance however you like! Shall we try this again?
[Mixmups cheer]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Let's do this!
[Dance music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance touches the tablet screen, and the lights in the room dim. Multi-coloured spotlights point at the Mixmups. In the sky, the edges of the two clouds turn green, and they smile at each other.
CLOUDS: Mm.
[Dance music continues, whoosh, Spin claps his hands]
DESCRIPTION: Everyone dances. Pockets twirls and Spin spins. He bounces beside a wingle and claps his hands.
[Song] Dance, dance, dance, dance. Everybody, come on, dance. Dance, dance, dance, dance.
[Roller Guinea murmurs, slide whistle, Yapette yaps, boing]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle rolls her arms and spins her wheelchair. Yapette spins on one of her front legs. Two wingles dance together. Mrs. Dancy Dance leads the line of dancers across the room.
[Song] Everybody, come on, dance. Dance, dance, dance, dance.
SPIN: Whoa! We did it!
DESCRIPTION: Spin holds Pocket’s arm and dances.
POCKETS: We all danced our own way and had so much fun.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone stops dancing.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Yep! As I say, there's always another way.
[Whoosh, boing]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance twirls and falls onto her bottom.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Oh!
[Music stops, everyone laughs, poof, chimes]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle’s disco glasses disappear, and she picks up the wooden spoon.
GIGGLE: Oh! It's time to go...
[Chimes, upbeat music plays, whoosh, box flaps]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle holds up the wooden spoon, and the dance studio disappears as the mixing box folds back into a box. Mrs. Dancy Dance, as Lucky Loover Bird again, waves to the Mixmups. Sparkles lift them and carry them back into the mixing box.
Lucky Loover Bird says, TOODLE-OO!
[Upbeat music plays, chimes, spoon thuds]
DESCRIPTION: The magical mixing box reappears in the bedroom. The Mixmups float out of the box and land on the edge of a bed. The wooden spoon flies out of the box, and Pockets catches it. Spin hops off the bed and dances.
SPIN: That was lots of fun!
POCKETS: Yeah...
[Spin laughs]
SPIN: Look!
DESCRIPTION: Spin points at a silver disco ball.
SPIN: Our very own disco ball!
[Click, dance music plays, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Spin runs to a table and pushes a button on the disco ball stand. The lights dim and lights move around the walls. The Mixmups dance.
SPIN: Disco a-go-go! I wonder who left this here?
DESCRIPTION: Outside on the hilltop, Lucky Loover Bird puts the cowboy hat back into the tree trunk, closes the door, and sits on their swing.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Mixing up adventures, near and far, but home is where the Mixmups are. Bye, Mixmups!

LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Five, six, seven, eight!
[Door squeaks, slams, Lucky Loover Bird claps, dance music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Lucky Loover Bird dances into the room, wearing the cowboy hat and stops at a line on the floor. Three wingles dance in a line behind them. The wingles wave to the Mixmups.
WINGLES: Hello.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Welcome, my funky friends! Only me...
SPIN: Oh, who are you?
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Lucky Loover Bird spins.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Today, I am Mrs. Dancy Dance. And this is my dance studio.
[Pops, light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The wingles stand in a row beside Lucky Loover Bird, who is Mrs. Dancy Dance.
GIGGLE: Ooh! We've come to learn how to do the perfect dance routine! But we want to do a routine altogether, with everyone dancing the same. Like a proper dance troupe.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD AS MRS. DANCY DANCE: You mean something like this?!
[Mrs. Dancy Dance snaps her fingers, wingles mutter, dance music plays, whoosh, Mixmups giggle]
DESCRIPTION: The wingles dance in a row, lifting their arms and twirling. The Mixmups watch, and Yapette wags her tail.
SPIN: Whoa-ho! Yes.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Come on then, everybody, let's practice those moves!
DESCRIPTION: Two clouds in the sky smile at each other.
CLOUDS: Mm.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Okay, now, take your positions on this line here.
[Yapette vocalizes]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups stand in a row just behind a line on the floor.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: And spread out, so you don't bump into each other.
[Roller Guinea murmurs]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups spread out along their line.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: That's it! Right then. It goes like this...
[Soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance steps forward and then steps back.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the front. Move to the back.
[Hands clap, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance claps to their left and then to their right, then they twirl.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Clap to the left. Clap to the right. And twirl! Are we ready?
MIXMUPS: Ready!
[Roller Guinea murmurs, upbeat music plays, wheels rustle]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups step forward and step back.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the front. Move to the back.
[Roller Guinea murmurs, hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups clap to their left and then to their right.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Clap to the left. Clap to the right.
[Roller Guinea murmurs]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: And twirl!
[Roller Guinea murmurs, slide whistle, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups twirl.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Perfect! Now, with music!
[Beep, dance music plays, Roller Guinea murmurs, hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance taps a tablet screen, and the Mixmups follow the dance instructions.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Let's rock the rhythm. Move to the front. Move to the back. Clap to the left.
[Twangs, whooshes, music slows]
DESCRIPTION: Spin dances his own dance, and Pockets and Giggle look at him.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Stop! Stop! Stop!
SPIN: Oops. Sorry. I got carried away with my own dance moves.
[Dance music plays, Roller Guinea murmurs, hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance taps a tablet screen, and the Mixmups follow the dance instructions.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Let's take it from the top. Move to the front. Move to the back. Clap to the left.
[Whoosh, Yapette barks, Pockets gasps, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets twirls.
POCKETS: Oh, sorry... I couldn't help doing my ballet twirls.
[Mrs. Dancy Dance groans]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: That's okay...Let's try again.
[Beep, dance music plays]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the front.
[Roller Guinea murmurs, wheels rustle]
DESCRIPTION: The Mixmups follow the dance instructions.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Move to the back. Clap to the left.
[Whooshes]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets twirls and Spin does his own dance.
SPIN: Whee!
[Laugh, clatter]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets and Spin fall on Yapette.
POCKETS: Oh!
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Oh dear!
[Roller Guinea murmurs]
DESCRIPTION: In the sky, the edges of the two clouds turn purple, and their mouths turn down.
CLOUDS: Hm...
GIGGLE: Oh, why can't we get this routine right?! It's just not working!
[Rustle]
DESCRIPTION: Pockets and Spin stand.
POCKETS: Sorry, Giggle.
SPIN: We kept getting carried away.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Hm... I wonder... If this dance isn't working, is there any other way to do a dance routine?
[Pop, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In a thought bubble, a flashback shows Spin doing his own dance.
SPIN: Uh... I followed the routine at first, but when the music started, I got carried away.
DESCRIPTION: In the thought bubble, a flashback shows Pockets twirling.
POCKETS: I tried to dance like everyone else, but I couldn't help doing my ballet twirls.
DESCRIPTION: In the thought bubble, a flashback shows Giggle following the instructions and clapping, while Pockets twirls and Spin dances his own dance.
GIGGLE: And I was getting the dance right, but everyone was going a different way to me.
[Pop, Giggle sighs]
DESCRIPTION: The thought bubble disappears.
GIGGLE: We came to learn the perfect dance routine, with everyone dancing the same, but it's all gone wrong!
[Upbeat music plays, wingles vocalize]
DESCRIPTION: A wingle dances, waving their arms.
SPIN: Hey, that's a good dance!
[Wingles vocalize]
DESCRIPTION: The second wingle twirls.
POCKETS: And that one!
[Wingles vocalize]
DESCRIPTION: The third wingle twists at the waist.
GIGGLE: And that one too!
[Wingles vocalize]
GIGGLE: I didn't know you could dance like that.
SPIN: Oh, yeah! There's lots of ways to move.
[Dance music plays, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Spin disco dances, pointing his arm up and then down.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Yeah, right! There are lots of different dance styles you could do. You've got tap dancin'...
[Shoes tap]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance dances tap.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: You've got ballet...
[Jump boings, upbeat music plays, feet whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance leaps and points her feet downwards.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: And you've got breakdancin'.
[Dance music plays, slide whistle, Roller Guinea murmurs]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance breakdances. Roller Guinea spins with them on the floor.
GIGGLE: Wait! What if it's a different kind of dance routine?
[Tape tears, tape rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle pulls the tape off the floor.
POCKETS: What are you doing?
GIGGLE: We don't need to dance to a line. What if we did a mixed-up Mixmups dance routine instead?
SPIN: Yeah! Where everyone does a different dance!
POCKETS: Yeah! We don't have to be the same.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: No, of course not! You can dance however you like! Shall we try this again?
[Mixmups cheer]
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Let's do this!
[Dance music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance touches the tablet screen, and the lights in the room dim. Multi-coloured spotlights point at the Mixmups. In the sky, the edges of the two clouds turn green, and they smile at each other.
CLOUDS: Mm.
[Dance music continues, whoosh, Spin claps his hands]
DESCRIPTION: Everyone dances. Pockets twirls and Spin spins. He bounces beside a wingle and claps his hands.
[Song] Dance, dance, dance, dance. Everybody, come on, dance. Dance, dance, dance, dance.
[Roller Guinea murmurs, slide whistle, Yapette yaps, boing]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle rolls her arms and spins her wheelchair. Yapette spins on one of her front legs. Two wingles dance together. Mrs. Dancy Dance leads the line of dancers across the room.
[Song] Everybody, come on, dance. Dance, dance, dance, dance.
SPIN: Whoa! We did it!
DESCRIPTION: Spin holds Pocket’s arm and dances.
POCKETS: We all danced our own way and had so much fun.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone stops dancing.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Yep! As I say, there's always another way.
[Whoosh, boing]
DESCRIPTION: Mrs. Dancy Dance twirls and falls onto her bottom.
MRS. DANCY DANCE: Oh!
[Music stops, everyone laughs, poof, chimes]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle’s disco glasses disappear, and she picks up the wooden spoon.
GIGGLE: Oh! It's time to go...
[Chimes, upbeat music plays, whoosh, box flaps]
DESCRIPTION: Giggle holds up the wooden spoon, and the dance studio disappears as the mixing box folds back into a box. Mrs. Dancy Dance, as Lucky Loover Bird again, waves to the Mixmups. Sparkles lift them and carry them back into the mixing box.
Lucky Loover Bird says, TOODLE-OO!
[Upbeat music plays, chimes, spoon thuds]
DESCRIPTION: The magical mixing box reappears in the bedroom. The Mixmups float out of the box and land on the edge of a bed. The wooden spoon flies out of the box, and Pockets catches it. Spin hops off the bed and dances.
SPIN: That was lots of fun!
POCKETS: Yeah...
[Spin laughs]
SPIN: Look!
DESCRIPTION: Spin points at a silver disco ball.
SPIN: Our very own disco ball!
[Click, dance music plays, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Spin runs to a table and pushes a button on the disco ball stand. The lights dim and lights move around the walls. The Mixmups dance.
SPIN: Disco a-go-go! I wonder who left this here?
DESCRIPTION: Outside on the hilltop, Lucky Loover Bird puts the cowboy hat back into the tree trunk, closes the door, and sits on their swing.
LUCKY LOOVER BIRD: Mixing up adventures, near and far, but home is where the Mixmups are. Bye, Mixmups!
[Chimes, cheerful music plays]
