[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, the Paw Patrol pups run into the Lookout tower. In the observation deck, Ryder taps his pup pad, and a large screen lowers from the ceiling.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. Whenever there's a problem 'round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups will come and save the day. Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, yeah, they're on the way.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall, a Dalmatian, Rubble, a Bulldog, Chase, a German Shepherd, Rocky, a grey and white mixed breed pup, Zuma, a chocolate Labrador, and Skye, a Cockapoo, ride down a slide wrapped around the tower to their vehicles. In the garage, Ryder jumps on his A.T.V.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, whenever you're in trouble, Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. No job's too big, no pup's too small, Paw Patrol, we're on a roll. So here we go, Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Lookout, Ryder throws treats to each of the pups. The pups gather around Ryder.

DESCRIPTION: Outside City Hall, a small flock of birds flies by the bell tower.
[Birds chirping]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway stands on the sidewalk wearing a pink diving suit with matching swim fins and oxygen tanks on her back. Chickaletta stands beside Mayor Goodway in her own diving suit and a clear diving helmet.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, Chickaletta, I can't believe we're finally going to Puplantis, and we'll be competing in the friendship race! So, are you ready to get fast, furious and flippery?
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: Chickaletta tries to peck the sidewalk and bangs her helmet against the concrete.
[Glass clinking]
[Horn honking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Ooh!
DESCRIPTION: The Paw Patrol Paw Patroller rolls to a stop next to Mayor Goodway. The back door opens, and a ramp slides out onto the street. Ryder peeks out and waves, wearing his diving suit.
[Horn honking]
RYDER: All aboard the Puplantis Express!
DESCRIPTION: Later, Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta ride in the Paw Patroller with the Paw Patrol pups Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye all dressed in their Aqua Pups diving suits.
SKYE: Ooh. This race is going to be so much fun!
[Skye giggling]
MAYOR GOODWAY: And I can't wait to try my new scooter.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway takes off Chickaletta’s diving helmet. In the front passenger seat, Ryder turns to face Mayor Goodway and the pups.
RYDER: You're going to love it, Mayor Goodway. I customized it to work underwater and on land.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway and the pups turn with their seats toward a large screen. The screen shows Mayor Goodway’s scooter in underwater mode without wheels and in land mode with wheels. The seats rotate back toward Ryder.
RUBBLE: Is it true that the winner gets to be king or queen of Puplantis for the day?
MAYOR GOODWAY: That's right, Rubble. As king or queen, the winner can have whatever they want in Puplantis! So, when I'm queen, I'd like a picture with me, Chickaletta, and all the mer-pups. I'll pack them all in like little sardines.
[Mayor Goodway laughing]
[Chickaletta squawking]
SKYE: Well, when I win, I want to take all the mer-pups flying! It'll be wing-tastic.
[Skye giggling]
[Robo-Dog barking]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder turns to face the front.
RYDER: Speaking of flying, hold on, everyone!
DESCRIPTION: In the driver’s seat, Robo-Dog turns onto a pier. The end of the pier rises and forms a ramp. Robo-Dog drives the Paw Patroller off the ramp at high speed and soars into the air. Mid-air, the wheels and front end of the Paw Patroller retract as it begins its transformation into the Whale Patroller.
[Tires squealing]
[Metal clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Inside the Whale Patroller, a blue light flashes. Mayor Goodway, with Chickaletta in her arms, and the Paw Patrol pups run through the Whale Patroller.
[Siren wailing]
[Pups barking]
DESCRIPTION: Fins and a whale tail-like components slid out the end of the Whale Patroller as the transformation comes to an end, and the Whale Patroller dives into the ocean.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, headlights shine from the Whale Patroller as Mayor Goodway and the Paw Patrol team cruise through the water. Mayor Goodway, with Chickaletta, and the pups return to their seats and look out their windows.
ZUMA: Whoa. It's so paw-some down here!
CHASE: Hey! Chickaletta made a friend!
DESCRIPTION: A dolphin taps its beak against Mayor Goodway’s window.
[Tapping]
[Dolphin clicking]
DESCRIPTION: Chickaletta flaps her wings.
[Chickaletta squawking]
[Mayor Goodway gasping]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, my!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway looks at the city of Puplantis from above. Homes made of giant shells make up the city and its large palace.
MAYOR GOODWAY: It's magnificent!
ROCY: If you listen carefully, mayor, you might hear the mer-pups singing.
[Mer-pups yipping a two-note melody]
MARSHALL: I like to call their music mer-pop.
[Everyone laughing]
[Light, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The team cruises through Puplantis and toward the palace. Above water, on a small island filled with trash, including an abandoned truck, cardboard boxes and tires, Portuguese Water Dog Moby drives in circles in his Moby Mobile. The land and underwater Moby Mobile has blue and green tentacles on the side and spreads dust across the island as Moby spins around. Yellow squid McSquidly watches and claps his tentacles.
MOBY: Bow-wow-wee! Feel this extra power I've added, McSquidly! I'm totally going to win, and when I become King of Puplantis, I'm going to cancel the after-race party!
[Moby sighing happily]
MOBY: I can't stand all the singing and celebrating.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly leaps toward Moby and wraps his tentacles around Moby’s face.
MOBY MUMBLING: McSquidly, don't hug my face!
[Moby grunting]
DESCRIPTION: Moby swerves. He drives up a sloped roof panel and soars into the air. The Moby Mobile switches from land mode to underwater mode as Moby falls toward the water. The wheels retract, and the tentacles drop from the sides of the Moby Mobile. McSquidly slides off Moby’s face onto the roof of the Moby Mobile.
MOBY: Finally. Come on. Let's go win this race!
DESCRIPTION: Moby splashes into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, pink fish glide through the water.
MOBY: Out of my way! Coming through!
DESCRIPTION: The fish scatter. Moby drives the Moby Mobile through the ocean. The tentacles on the back push it through the water. McSquidly shakes a tentacle at the pink fish.
MOBY: Okay, McSquidly. You're going to help make sure I win with my newest invention.
DESCRIPTION: A large black ball expands like a bubble and pops. Squid ink covers the Moby Mobile windshield. Moby wipes away the ink.
[Moby grumbling]
MOBY: Plant these ink traps around the racecourse, starting with that old shipwreck.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly takes two ink traps, the black balls, out of a storage compartment in the Moby Mobile, and swims up to the front of a shipwreck. He plants the traps inside a hole in the wreck and returns to the Moby Mobile.
MOBY: Nice work! Now, let's get to the starting line.
[Cheerful music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Puplantis palace, a ramp opens in the Whale Patroller. Mayor Goodway, Chickaletta, Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups swim out in their diving suits and helmets.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Amazing.
RYDER: Welcome to Puplantis!
MAYOR GOODWAY: This is the most fabulous place I've ever seen!
DESCRIPTION: Mer-pups swim around the palace. Two mer-pups swim over to Mayor Goodway and the others.
[Mer-pups barking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, yes!
[Mayor Goodway chuckling]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Hello, I guess. If only I knew what they were saying.
SKYE: My cousin Coral can translate! She's going to be racing today, too. I'll go get her!
DESCRIPTION: Skye swims ahead. On the other side of the palace, Cap’n Turbot steers his diving bell over to the group. A green mer-pup in a bubble car follows close behind on a scooter.
CAP'N TURBOT: Hello, fellow racers! Everyone ready to fin it to the finish line?
[Green mer-pup barking]
CAP’N TURBOT: Ha-ha! That's the can-do spirit, Kelp!
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Elsewhere in Puplantis, mer-pup Coral swims up to her blue and purple seahorse sub and looks around with a frown. McSquidly hides close by with an ink trap. Coral turns toward McSquidly, and he ducks out of view.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: Coral swims past her seahorse sub, and Skye swims up to her from behind.
Skye: Hey, cuz. Ready to race?
CORAL: Not really, Skye. I'm so nervous! I've got jellyfish in my bellyfish.
SKYE: Oh, Coral. Everyone gets nervous before a race!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly swims up to the seahorse sub and reaches for the engine hood.
CORAL: But I get really nervous.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly ducks behind the seahorse sub.
CORAL: It happens whenever I compete.
SKYE: Want to know my trick? I just take a few deep breaths and remind myself to have fun.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly opens the hood from behind. He slides the ink trap inside and swims away.
[McSquidly squeaking]
CORAL: Take a few deep breaths.
DESCRIPTION: Coral inhales deeply through her nose and slowly exhales through her mouth.
[Coral breathing deeply]
CORAL: Hey. I feel better! Thanks, Skye!
DESCRIPTION: Coral hugs Skye.
[Horn blaring]
[Coral gasping]
CORAL AND SKYE: The race is about to start!
SKYE: Let's go!
DESCRIPTION: Coral and Skye high-five and swim away. Back outside the palace, a large crowd of mer-pups gather.
[Mer-pups cheering and applauding]
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot in his diving bell, Mayor Goodway on her scooter, Kelp in his bubble car, Coral in her seahorse sub, and Skye in her manta ray sub hover behind a starting line.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh-ho! It's going to get speedy, Chickaletta!
CAP’N TURBOT: I'm revving with excitement and ready to race like a rapid rabbit!
SKYE AND CORAL: Good luck, cousin.
[Coral yipping and howling]
CORAL: Good luck, Kelp.
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swims up to the racers.
RYDER: Welcome, everybody, to the Puplantis-Adventure Bay friendship race!
[Pups cheering, howling]
PUP: Woo-hoo! Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The Whale Patroller projects a map of Puplantis and Adventure Bay.
RYDER: The first part of the course will be underwater. The second part will be on land through Adventure Bay. And the final part of the race takes place back down here.
DESCRIPTION: A red line marks the course through the city of Puplantis, the shipwrecks, around Adventure Bay, across the Adventure Bay bridge, around the Paw Patrol Lookout tower, and back through Puplantis to the palace.
RYDER: First one across the finish line wins. And then, after the big celebration, the king or queen gets to make their one wish!
CORAL: I have everything I've ever wished for. I just love the big celebration we're going to have together.
MOBY: Actually, there won't be any celebrating, 'cause I'm going to win.
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives up to the starting line beside Cap’n Turbot with McSquidly on the Moby Mobile.
MOBY: And when I'm king of Puplantis, I'm cancelling that party and every party from now on! Ha!
[Mer-pups whimpering]
CORAL: Moby, that's not very nice. You could do so many other things if you were King of Puplantis.
MOBY: Blah-blah-blah. Come on. Let's race already!
RYDER: All right, racers. On your marks, get set, flow!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder waves a checkered flag, and Cap’n Turbot speeds off. Moby backs up, and McSquidly grabs onto the Moby Mobile windshield.
[McSquidly squeaking]
MOBY: Hey! I can't see! Move it, McSquidly. Come on!
DESCRIPTION: The Moby Mobile turns in circles. In the city, Coral races ahead of Cap’n Turbot. Kelp and Skye closely follow with Mayor Goodway.
CORAL: You've got this, Coral.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the palace, the crowd watches the racers position on the Whale Patroller map.
[Mer-pups cheering]
DESCRIPTION: A live feed of the racers shows Coral in the lead.
CROWD MEMBER: Woo-hoo!
SECOND CROWD MEMBER: Look at them go!
DESCRIPTION: Near the starting line, McSquidly slips onto the roof of the Moby Mobile and Moby speeds after the other racers. He races ahead of Mayor Goodway.
[Mayor Goodway gasping]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, dear!
MOBY: Ha-ha! Eat my bubbles!
DESCRIPTION: Moby speeds past Skye, Kelp and Cap’n Turbot.
CORAL: Yippee!
[Coral laughing]
MOBY: Ugh. Coral's sub is faster than mine! We'll fix that. McSquidly, you know what to do.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly pulls out a remote and presses a button.
[Remote beeping]
DESCRIPTION: Black ink bursts out of the engine in Coral’s seahorse sub.
[Coral gasping]
DESCRIPTION: Coral swerves and slows. Moby pulls ahead.
CORAL: Oh no! Something's wrong!
DESCRIPTION: The live feed shows Coral swerving down the racecourse.
[Mer-pups whimpering]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swims toward the other Paw Patrol pups, Rocky, Rubble, Marshall, Chase and Zuma, then swims away with Rocky. On the racecourse, Coral bumps into a light and swerves into a ditch.
[Coral grunting]
CORAL: Uh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: Ink fills the water around Coral like dust.
[Coral shouting]
DESCRIPTION: A crab on a rock scurries away.
[Crab squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: Coral crashes onto the rock.
CORAL YELLING: Whoa!
[Banging and clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Coral swims out of her sub.
CORAL: Oh, my starfish!
DESCRIPTION: On the racecourse, Skye, Cap’n Turbot and Mayor Goodway follow Kelp past Coral. Ryder and Rocky swim over to Coral.
RYDER: What happened?
CORAL: I don't know, Ryder. I must've pushed my seahorse up too hard.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps on the seahorse sub.
[Knocking]
DESCRIPTION: The engine hood pops open, and Rocky swims up.
[Rocky barking]
ROCKY: Claw!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky pulls a piece of the ink trap out of the engine with his pup pack grabber claw, and more ink floats out. Ryder looks at the piece of the trap.
RYDER: Hmm. This doesn't look like your fault, Coral. There's something fishy going on.
ROCKY: Good thing the engine wasn't damaged too bad. It's an easy fix!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky closes the hood. Coral returns to her seat and starts the sub.
CORAL: Thanks, Rocky!
[Coral sighing]
CORAL: But there's no way I'll catch up to the others now.
RYDER: You can do this, Coral!
CORAL: Thanks, Ryder. I'll just try my best and remember what Skye says. Breathe...
[Calming music plays]
[Coral deeply inhaling and exhaling]
CORAL: ...and have fun!
[Exciting music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Coral speeds off down the racecourse. Elsewhere on the course, a dolphin flaps its fins.
[Dolphin clicking excitedly]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin swims after the racers. Mayor Goodway speeds ahead of Kelp and Skye.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Sharp turn up ahead, Chickaletta! Hold on to your feathers!
SKYE: If I cut to the inside, I might be able to pull ahead.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway, Skye and Kelp race around a curve in the course. Skye swerves side to side behind Mayor Goodway.
MAYOR GOODWAY: You can try, Skye, but this Mayor's got to fly!
[Mayor Goodway laughing]
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway races ahead. The dolphin follows Cap’n Turbot.
CAP’N TURBOT: Hoo-hoo! Blubbering blowfish! This bell is a beast!
DESCRIPTION: The racers speed past a crowd watching on the sidelines. Ahead of Cap’n Turbot, Moby leaves Puplantis. He looks back toward Cap’n Turbot following close behind.
MOBY: Bow-wow-what? How can a diving bell be that fast? Better slow them down.
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives between sections of the shipwreck.
MOBY: McSquidly, you know what to do.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly presses a button on the remote.
[Remote beeping]
DESCRIPTION: In the shipwreck, one of the ink traps inflates.
[Ink trap beeping]
DESCRIPTION: The ink trap bursts and fills the wreck with ink as Cap’n Turbot approaches.
CAP'N TURBOT: Suffering snails! I can't see!
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin swims around the shipwreck. Cap’n Turbot hits the wreck.
[Dolphin clicking]
[Metal clanking]
DESCRIPTION: The end of the ship breaks off. Cap’n Turbot bounces onto the ocean floor.
CAP’N TURBOT: Oh, duck and dodge, dolphin.
DESCRIPTION: The middle of the ship tips and pins Cap’n Turbot’s diving bell.
[Metal clanking]
CAP’N TURBOT: Uh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin dives down. The end of the ship falls over the dolphin onto the ocean floor and traps the dolphin and Cap’n Turbot. Black ink fills the water.
[Thudding]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin looks through a porthole window.
[Dolphin clicking frantically]
DESCRIPTION: Moby returns to the shipwreck and looks down from above.
MOBY: What an unfortunate accident.
[Moby cackling]
DESCRIPTION: Moby turns around and continues the race. Mayor Goodway and Kelp reach the ink-filled wreck and drive over the ship.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Racing is so exhilarating!
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: The ink fades and shows Cap’n Turbot trapped. Skye races up to the wreck and spots Cap’n Turbot.
SKYE: Oh, no!
DESCRIPTION: Skye drives down to Cap’n Turbot.
SKYE: What happened?
CAP’N TURBOT: A curious cloud caused me to crash!
SKYE: Let me help!
DESCRIPTION: Skye hooks her sub harness to a broken pole on the shipwreck and tries to retract the cable.
[Winch whirring]
SKYE: Ugh. This is going to take a few of us.
[Skye grunting]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin sticks its beak through the porthole.
[Dolphin clicking]
CAP’N TURBOT: I'd better reach out to Ryder for a rescue.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the palace, the live feed shows Cap’n Turbot trapped.
ZUMA: That doesn't look good, dudes.
[Pup pad ringing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pulls out his pup pad and answers a call.
RYDER: Cap'n Turbot, are you okay?
CAP’N TURBOT ON A VIDEO CALL: Yes, but my sea vessel is seriously stuck, and a dolphin's been tragically trapped!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot shows the dolphin looking through the porthole.
[Dolphin clicking]
RYDER: We're on our way! No ship is too wrecked. No pup is too small!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder slides open a tray in his pup pad and taps a button.
RYDER: Aqua Pups, to the Whale Patroller.
DESCRIPTION: Chase, Rubble and Marshall’s pup tags light up.
CHASE, RUBBLE AND MARSHALL: Ryder needs us!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Chase, Rubble and Marshall swim toward the Whale Patroller. Marshall slips over a pile of shells on the ocean floor.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: At the Whale Patroller ramp, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma and Chase meet at the door.
ROCKY: Marshall, careful!
RUBBLE: Look out!
DESCRIPTION: Marshall spins toward the Whale Patroller. The shells float around him.
MARSHALL: Whoa-oa-oa!
[Crashing]
[Pups grunting]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Chase, Rocky and Rubble lie on the ramp. Marshall sits on top of Chase with shells stacked on his head.
MARSHALL: "Shell” we go inside?
[Pups laughing]
DESCRIPTION: The pups get up and swim into the Whale Patroller. The ramp closes behind them. Inside, the pups run and jump into their seats. Their seatbelts click together, and the seats turn the pups toward the front.
[Everyone laughing]
CHASE: Aqua Pups ready for action, Ryder, sir!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder sits in the passenger seat with his pup pad.
RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps a button, and the pups’ seats turn to face a large screen.
RYDER: Cap'n Turbot and a baby dolphin are trapped under parts of a shipwreck on the racecourse!
DESCRIPTION: The screen shows Cap’n Turbot and the dolphin in the shipwreck.
CAP’N TURBOT: Uh-oh.
[Dolphin clicking]
RUBBLE: Oh, that must be scary.
RYDER: It sure is, Rubble. So, for this mission, I'll need Zuma. I'll need you to use your sub's claws to lift the shipwreck off Cap'n Turbot's bell.
ZUMA: Let's dive in!
RYDER: And Rocky. I'll need you to use your saw to cut a hole in the shipwreck so the baby dolphin can swim out.
ROCKY: Green means go!
RYDER: All right. Aqua Pups are on a roll!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma’s seat belt unbuckles. He leaps out of his seat and runs to a trap door in the back of the Whale Patroller. A glowing orange light shines down on Zuma and an orange diving helmet appears on his head. Zuma drops through the trap door.
[Sonar echoing]
DESCRIPTION: In the Whale Patroller garage, Zuma’s hovercraft sub cruises across a pool filling with water. Crab-like grabber claws reach out of the sub. Zuma rides down a water slide into the garage.
[Claws snapping]
[Zuma howling]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma flips off the end of the water slide.
[Song] Zuma!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma drops into his sub. A dome roof closes over him, and he races through a clear barrier into the ocean.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: In the Whale Patroller, Rocky jumps from his seat and runs to the trap door. A green light shines down on him, and his diving helmet appears. Rocky drops through the trap door.
[Rocky barking and howling]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: In the garage, Rocky’s sawfish sub cruises into position. Rocky rides down the water slide.
ROCKY: Yay! Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky flips off the water slide.
[Song] Rocky!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky drops into his sub. A dome roof closes over him, and he races through the clear barrier into the ocean.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
[Sonar echoing]
DESCRIPTION: The Whale Patroller dives deeper, and Ryder drives his red and white submarine through a barrier in the upper deck.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder follows Zuma and Rocky through the ocean, toward darker water.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: At the driver’s seat, Robo-Dog steers the Whale Patroller toward the surface of the ocean.
[Robo-Dog barking]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: The Whale Patroller breaches like a whale. It bursts through the surface of the ocean, then lands on the water with a giant splash.
[Splashing]

DESCRIPTION: Coral reaches the shipwreck.
CORAL: Uh-oh. Hang on, Skye. I can help!
DESCRIPTION: Coral drives her seahorse sub down to Cap’n Turbot’s diving bell and pushes her sub against the shipwreck.
CAP’N TURBOT: Great! Give it all you've got!
DESCRIPTION: The shipwreck starts to shake.
[Coral grunting]
SKYE: It's too heavy!
CAP’N TURBOT: This is a pickle of a problem. My diving bell is preparing to pop.
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral pull and push on the middle section of the ship.
[Ship creaking]
SKYE: I don't know if we can hold this up much longer.
CORAL: We don't have to! Look!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Zuma, and Rocky drive up in their underwater rescue vehicles.
[Ship creaking]
[Dolphin clicking]
RYDER: Okay, Zuma. Work with Coral and Skye to help lift the shipwreck off the diving bell.
ZUMA: On it, dude.
RYDER: Rocky and I will help the dolphin.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma snaps the crab claws on his sub onto a railing on the wreck.
[Whirring]
[Clanking]
SKYE: It's pretty heavy. We'll help.
ZUMA: Okay, dudes. Lift on three. One, two, three!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Skye and Coral start to move the middle section of the ship. Ryder and Rocky drive over to the dolphin trapped in the end of the ship.
ROCKY: I'll get you out, little buddy. Just stay back, okay?
[Dolphin clicking frantically]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin backs up from the porthole.
[Rocky barking]
ROCKY: Saw!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky’s sawfish saw powers on. He drives up to the porthole and cuts a circle around it.
[Saw whirring]
[Grinding, buzzing]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky backs up, and the dolphin swims out.
[Dolphin clicking excitedly]
RYDER: Nice work, Rocky!
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin swims around Rocky’s sub.
[Dolphin clicking happily]
ROCKY: Who's a happy dolphin? You are. Yes, you are!
[Creaking]
DESCRIPTION: The middle of the shipwreck shakes. Zuma and Skye try to lift it.
[Skye groaning]
DESCRIPTION: Coral pushes from below. Together, Coral, Skye and Zuma move the wreck off Cap’n Turbot’s diving bell.
CORAL: It's working!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot drives his diving bell out from under the wreck. Coral follows, and Skye and Zuma drop the wreck.
[Wreck thudding]
CAP’N TURBOT: Thanks, Aqua Pups. I collided when I was confused by a cloud of ink.
RYDER: A cloud of ink? Hmm.
CAP’N TURBOT: Utterly unexpected. But now my diving bell is decently dinged and done for, and I'm out of the race.
SKYE AND CORAL: The race!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder checks the race map.
RYDER: Skye and Coral, you both still have a chance to win.
SKYE: Thanks, Ryder. Come on, cousin!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral speed off down the course. Outside the palace, the Whale Patroller shows the map. Marshall, Chase and Rubble look at the map in their Aqua Pups subs.
MARSHALL: Look. Skye and Coral are catching up to Kelp and Mayor Goodway!
[Mer-pups cheering and applauding]
MER-PUP: Yes, yes, yes!
SECOND MER-PUP: All right!
DESCRIPTION: On the racecourse, Skye and Coral speed through the water.
SKYE: Faster, Coral. We can do this!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral start to catch up with Kelp and Mayor Goodway. Coral nods. Ahead, Mayor Goodway glances toward Kelp.
MAYOR GOODWAY: You're a zippy mer-pup, aren't you?
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp pulls ahead.
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp speeds toward Moby.
MOBY: Aha! One down, four to go! Ha!
DESCRIPTION: Moby marks off a picture of Cap’n Turbot.
MOBY: I'm going to win for sure, and there will be no more celebration!
DESCRIPTION: Moby turns into a cave. Kelp and Mayor Goodway follow close behind.
[Chickaletta squawking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Don't worry, Chickaletta. We'll catch up!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral speed past Mayor Goodway.
SKYE: We're back in the race!
MAYOR GOODWAY: Ooh! Come on, scooter. Scoot!
DESCRIPTION: Moby speeds out of the cave and turns to face the exit.
MOBY: Made it! Now, to knock out the competition.
DESCRIPTION: Moby looks around. He spots a pile of large rocks above the cave exit.
MOBY: McSquidly, up there! It looks like the perfect ink-dropping spot!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly grabs an ink trap and swims up to the large rocks with the remote. Moby hides behind a large rock nearby as Kelp approaches the exit.
MOBY: McSquidly, drop the ink trap now!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly tries to throw the ink trap at Kelp, and it sticks to his tentacle. Kelp races past Moby.
MOBY: Oh, no!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly shakes his tentacle and hits the ink trap against a giant rock. The ink trap unexpectedly pops.
[Splatting]
DESCRIPTION: The giant rock shakes. Skye and Coral race out of the cave.
SKYE: Woo-hoo!
CORAL: Yippee!
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives up to McSquidly, who tries to shake the now-empty ink trap off his tentacle.
MOBY: This was supposed to help us win, not put us behind!
[McSquidly squeaking]
MOBY: Let's go!
DESCRIPTION: Moby knocks McSquidly onto the Moby Mobile and speeds off after the other racers.
[McSquidly squealing]
DESCRIPTION: The ink-stained rock shakes, then falls. The rocks around it start to fall.
[Rocks rumbling and crashing]
DESCRIPTION: Inside the cave, Mayor Goodway glances over her shoulder.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Let's go, let's go! The pride of Adventure Bay is at stake!
[Rocks crashing]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Huh? What is causing that commotion?
DESCRIPTION: At the cave exit, more rocks fall and block the exit. Lights marking the exit flicker off.
[Electricity crackling]
[Mayor Goodway gasping]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Who turned out the lights? What happened to the exit? Don't panic, Chickaletta! Mommy is panicking enough for the both of us!
[Chickaletta squawking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: What do we do? What do we do?
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway’s scooter headlight shines in the darkness.
MAYOR GOODWAY: I know. We'll turn around and go back the way we came in. That way!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway turns back toward the entrance.
[Electricity crackling]
DESCRIPTION: A shell light marking the racecourse turns off.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, dear.
DESCRIPTION: The remaining lights flicker off, and the cave grows dark. Outside the palace, Ryder looks at the position of the racers on the map.
RYDER: Okay, race fans. It looks like Kelp is in the lead. Coral and Skye are tied for second, but Moby is coming up fast. And Mayor Goodway isn't moving?
DESCRIPTION: On the racecourse, Moby drives between Skye and Coral and speeds past.
MOBY: So long, slowpokes!
CORAL: Wait. How did he get ahead? Mayor Goodway was right behind us.
SKYE: I know. Where is she?
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral turn around.
SKYE: I don't see her.
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Visor.
DESCRIPTION: Skye’s visor lowers from her helmet. She looks into the distance and spots the blocked cave exit.
SKYE: Oh, no! The cave exit is sealed off with rocks.
SKYE THROUGH HER PUP TAG: Ryder, I think Mayor Goodway is trapped in the cave! I'll go back to rescue her.
RYDER THROUGH HIS PUP PAD: No, Skye! You're too far from her. We've got this. You keep racing.
SKYE: Roger, Ryder.
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral turn back and continue the race.
RYDER: I think someone may be messing with this race.
DESCRIPTION: Rubble and Chase’s pup tags light up.
RYDER: Rubble, Chase? I need you.
CHASE: Chase is on the undersea case, Ryder.
RUBBLE: Rubble on the double!
DESCRIPTION: On the Adventure Bay beach, Kelp pops out of the water in his bubble car. Townspeople of Adventure Bay watch on the sidelines.
TOWNSPEOPLE: Whoa. Woo-hoo!
[Townspeople applauding]
CHILD: Bubble!
[Gurgling]
DESCRIPTION: Moby soars into the air in his Moby Mobile with McSquidly on the roof.
FIRST TOWNSPERSON: Wow. Is that a squid?
DESCRIPTION: The Moby Mobile switches to land mode. Wheels pop out of the Moby Mobile and the blue and green tentacles tuck against the sides as the vehicle drops onto the sand. Moby skids around Kelp and onto the street. Coral pops out of the water and transforms her seahorse sub into a motorcycle.
SECOND TOWNSPERSON: Woo-hoo!
[Motorcycle engine whirring]
DESCRIPTION: Skye bursts out of the water. She flips the wings of her sub, then wheels pop out from underneath. Skye drops onto the sand and speeds after Coral.
FIRST TOWNSPERSON: Whoa!
SECOND TOWNSPERSON: Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: In the dark cave, Mayor Goodway pushes against a large rock.
[Mayor Goodway grunting]
[Chickaletta squawking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: It's no use, Chickaletta.
[Beeping]
RYDER: Don't worry, Mayor Goodway. We've got this!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway smiles. Outside the cave, Ryder drives up to the blocked exit with Rocky and the dolphin.
RYDER: We'll have you out in two shakes of a dolphin's tail.
[Dolphin clicking]
DESCRIPTION: Chase and Rubble join Ryder and Rocky.
CHASE: Hmm. More ink?
RUBBLE: Hope you don't mind me crashing in.
[Rubble giggling]
RYDER: Mayor Goodway, you might want to stand back a little.
DESCRIPTION: In the cave, Mayor Goodway drives down the dark tunnel on her scooter.
MAYOR GOODWAY: We're ready, Ryder.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the cave, Rubble backs up his hammerhead sub. The bulldozer blades of the sub slide into place, and he rams into the pile of rocks blocking the exit.
[Rocks crashing]
DESCRIPTION: Dark dust fills the water. The dust fades and reveals the now-open exit. Mayor Goodway drives out on her scooter.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Thank you, Rubble. Ryder, I knew I could count on you and your team.
CHASE: You can still get back in the race, Mayor Goodway!
MAYOR GOODWAY: I'm afraid I'm too far behind, Chase, thanks to this little accident.
DESCRIPTION: Chase looks at an ink-stained rock above the cave exit.
CHASE: Ryder, with all this ink I'm finding, I think these "accidents" aren't really accidents.
RYDER: I think you're right, Chase. The ink looks like what Moby's used in the past. Let's keep a closer eye on him in the race.
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, Moby speeds down the racecourse on a street marked by shell lights.
MOBY: All this cheating makes me hungry. McSquidly, snag us some food!
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly looks around. Outside his café, Mr. Porter carries a plate of pancakes toward the outdoor patio.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly grabs the pancakes and feeds them to Moby.
[McSquidly squeaking]
[Moby munching]
MOBY: Bleh. Yuck!
DESCRIPTION: On the café patio, Mr. Porter serves the empty plate to a customer and his gaze widens.
[Plate clattering]
DESCRIPTION: At the Lookout, Moby skids around the tower on two wheels.
[Tires squealing]
DESCRIPTION: The Moby Mobile starts to tip. McSquidly grabs onto the tower, and his tentacle stretches.
MOBY: We've got this race in the bag. Soon, I'll be King of Puplantis, and I'll cancel the big celebration forever!
[Moby cackling]
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: Moby speeds down the Lookout driveway and back toward town. On the other side of the driveway, Kelp bounces around the tower in his bubble car. He bounces down the driveway behind Moby.
[Kelp barking]
MOBY: What?
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral speed past Moby. Moby races back toward the beach.
MOBY: Don't they know they're supposed to lose the race?
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly points toward a sewer lid.
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: Good thinking. I don't know about you, McSquidly, but I'm having a blast! Let's hope our fellow racers have a blast, too!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly pulls out three ink traps. Moby drives by the sewer lid. McSquidly opens the lid and drops the ink traps into the sewer.
[Sewer lid clanking]
MOBY: Okay, McSquidly. Make sure Kelp is right over the lid when you spring the trap.
DESCRIPTION: Kelp bounces toward the sewer lid with Skye and Coral close behind.
MOBY: Ready, set, now!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly presses a button on the remote.
[Beeping]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp bounces onto the sewer lid, and a large stream of ink blasts him into the air.
[Kelp howling]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp soars through the sky.
SKYE AND CORAL: Oh, no!
DESCRIPTION: Kelp bounces onto the train station roof.
[Kelp quietly barking]
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral swerve around ink on the road.
SKYE: Whew! Ryder was right. Moby must have planted traps all along the race route!
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives up a hill.
MOBY: See you at the finish line! I'm about to be King of Puplantis!
[Moby cackling]
CORAL: Oh, no. He's going to fall off the roof!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral slow to a stop by the train station.
CORAL: What do we do?
SKYE: I need to try and help Kelp, but you need to beat that cheater, Moby.
CORAL: Are you sure?
SKYE: I'm sure, cuz. Now, go! And don't forget: just breathe and have fun.
[Motorcycle engine revving]
DESCRIPTION: Coral continues down the street after Moby. Skye drives up to the train station.
[Skye barking]
DESCRIPTION: The wheels in Skye’s sub car retract and transform the car into a jet. Skye flies toward Kelp as Kelp’s bubble tips toward the edge of the roof.
[Kelp whimpering]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp falls off the roof.
[Kelp wailing]
DESCRIPTION: Skye catches Kelp with the wind of the turbine engines in her jet wings and balances him between both wings.
SKYE: Chase, can you come give Kelp a safe landing?
DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Chase drive up to the train station.
CHASE: You bet!
[Chase barking]
CHASE: Net.
DESCRIPTION: Chase launches his pup pack net onto the street. Skye tips her jet and lets Kelp fall onto the net. Kelp’s bubble car pops, and he falls off his scooter as he lands.
[Kelp yipping]
SKYE: Nice save, Chase!
DESCRIPTION: Skye lands on her wheels beside Ryder.
CHASE: Thanks, but I popped Kelp's bubble car. But you can still be in the race!
SKYE: It's too late, Chase. It's all up to Coral now. Ryder, it was Moby. He was the one planting traps along the race. We saw his gadgets on the road.
CHASE: Should we stop him, Ryder?
RYDER: It's just Coral and Moby racing to the finish line. Let's head back there. I have a feeling Coral is going to surprise Moby.
DESCRIPTION: Skye drives up to Kelp.
SKYE: Hey, Kelp. Want a lift back to Puplantis?
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Skye takes flight.
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Harness!
DESCRIPTION: Skye hooks her harness around Kelp and flies toward the beach with Ryder and Chase.
[Engines revving]
DESCRIPTION: On the Adventure Bay bridge, Moby follows the racecourse lights.
MOBY: My ingenious plan worked! The traps took out the other racers! Now, I just have to win so I can be King of Puplantis and cancel their little celebration.
[Coral laughing]
DESCRIPTION: Moby glances over his shoulder. Coral drives up behind him.
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: Coral is back again?
DESCRIPTION: Moby presses a button and pours ink onto the bridge from the back of the Moby Mobile.
[Button beeping]
[Ink sloshing]
[Coral gasping]
CORAL: That's super slippery! I'm going to slide off the road!
DESCRIPTION: Coral looks worried.
CORAL: I know what to do!
[Coral deeply inhaling and exhaling]
CORAL: Let's have some fun!
DESCRIPTION: Coral speeds ahead. Outside the Puplantis palace, Mayor Goodway, Ryder, Rubble, Rocky, Marshall and Chase watch Coral approach the large patch of ink on the live stream.
MARSHALL: What's Coral doing? She's going to wipe out on that ink patch.
DESCRIPTION: Skye joins Marshall and the others.
SKYE: No. She's going to slide on it, and her momentum will boost her past Moby.
DESCRIPTION: On the bridge, Coral skids onto the ink patch.
[Brakes squealing]
[Ink splashing]
CORAL: Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: Coral swerves off the ink and off the bridge.
CORAL: Now, that was fun!
DESCRIPTION: Coral skids past Moby.
[Tires squealing]
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: Impossible!
DESCRIPTION: Coral races onto the pier. She speeds off the end and soars into the air.
CORAL: Time to make a splash!
DESCRIPTION: Coral’s motorcycle transforms back into her seahorse sub, and she drops into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives to the end of the pier.
MOBY: This can't be happening!
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives off the pier and his Moby Mobile switches from land mode back into sub mode. The Moby Mobile drops into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, Coral speeds down the race course ahead of Moby. At the finish line outside the Puplantis palace, Ryder and Mayor Goodway wait with the pups and mer-pups.
[Everyone cheering, shouting]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Go, Coral! Win this for all of us!
DESCRIPTION: Coral narrows her gaze. She looks determined.
MOBY: Uh-oh. We'd better set another trap.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly lets go of the remote.
MOBY: What? You're out of traps?
[McSquidly squeaking]
MOBY: Fine. Let's stick a tentacle on Coral. It'll pull her back while it flings us forward for the win!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly wraps one tentacle around the Moby Mobile and swims toward Coral’s seahorse sub. Coral glances over her shoulder and spots McSquidly. She spins around and dodges McSquidly’s reach. McSquidly grabs onto a piece of coral.
CORAL: Sorry, Moby. Not on Coral.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly stretches between the Moby Mobile and the piece of coral. McSquidly loses his grip and pulls the Moby Mobile back. The Moby Mobile hits the ground.
[Moby yelping]
[Clanking]
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: No!
[Celebratory music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Outside the palace, Coral crosses the finish line.
[Pups and mer-pups cheering]
DESCRIPTION: Skye swims up to Coral. Coral leaves her seahorse sub.
SKYE: Hooray! You won! I'm so proud of you.
CORAL: I couldn't have done it without you, cuz. All I had to do was breathe and have fun.
DESCRIPTION: Skye swims over to Moby with an empty ink trap.
SKYE: Cheaters always lose, Moby.
DESCRIPTION: Skye tosses the empty ink trap to McSquidly.
MOBY: Argh! This is all your fault!
DESCRIPTION: Moby glares at McSquidly.
[Moby sighing]
[Applauding]
DESCRIPTION: A mer-pup hands Ryder a conch shell trophy.
RYDER: Congratulations, Coral! You are the Puplantis-Adventure Bay friendship race champion, and Queen of Puplantis for the day.
DESCRIPTION: Coral accepts the trophy from Ryder.
CORAL: Wow. This is mer-velous. Thanks for helping all us racers.
RYDER: You're welcome. Whenever you tumble into a trap, just yelp for help!
MAYOR GOODWAY: So, Queen Coral, what will you do on this special day?
CORAL: I'm just happy to win, Mayor Goodway. But if I could have anything, I'd want the biggest celebration ever!
[Cheering and applause]

DESCRIPTION: Robo-Dog lowers the Whale Patroller toward the crowd. He presses a button and bright rainbow lights shine from the Whale Patroller.

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway takes off Chickaletta’s diving helmet. In the front passenger seat, Ryder turns to face Mayor Goodway and the pups.
RYDER: You're going to love it, Mayor Goodway. I customized it to work underwater and on land.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway and the pups turn with their seats toward a large screen. The screen shows Mayor Goodway’s scooter in underwater mode without wheels and in land mode with wheels. The seats rotate back toward Ryder.
RUBBLE: Is it true that the winner gets to be king or queen of Puplantis for the day?
MAYOR GOODWAY: That's right, Rubble. As king or queen, the winner can have whatever they want in Puplantis! So, when I'm queen, I'd like a picture with me, Chickaletta, and all the mer-pups. I'll pack them all in like little sardines.
[Mayor Goodway laughing]
[Chickaletta squawking]
SKYE: Well, when I win, I want to take all the mer-pups flying! It'll be wing-tastic.
[Skye giggling]
[Robo-Dog barking]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder turns to face the front.
RYDER: Speaking of flying, hold on, everyone!
DESCRIPTION: In the driver’s seat, Robo-Dog turns onto a pier. The end of the pier rises and forms a ramp. Robo-Dog drives the Paw Patroller off the ramp at high speed and soars into the air. Mid-air, the wheels and front end of the Paw Patroller retract as it begins its transformation into the Whale Patroller.
[Tires squealing]
[Metal clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Inside the Whale Patroller, a blue light flashes. Mayor Goodway, with Chickaletta in her arms, and the Paw Patrol pups run through the Whale Patroller.
[Siren wailing]
[Pups barking]
DESCRIPTION: Fins and a whale tail-like components slid out the end of the Whale Patroller as the transformation comes to an end, and the Whale Patroller dives into the ocean.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, headlights shine from the Whale Patroller as Mayor Goodway and the Paw Patrol team cruise through the water. Mayor Goodway, with Chickaletta, and the pups return to their seats and look out their windows.
ZUMA: Whoa. It's so paw-some down here!
CHASE: Hey! Chickaletta made a friend!
DESCRIPTION: A dolphin taps its beak against Mayor Goodway’s window.
[Tapping]
[Dolphin clicking]
DESCRIPTION: Chickaletta flaps her wings.
[Chickaletta squawking]
[Mayor Goodway gasping]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, my!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway looks at the city of Puplantis from above. Homes made of giant shells make up the city and its large palace.
MAYOR GOODWAY: It's magnificent!
ROCY: If you listen carefully, mayor, you might hear the mer-pups singing.
[Mer-pups yipping a two-note melody]
MARSHALL: I like to call their music mer-pop.
[Everyone laughing]
[Light, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The team cruises through Puplantis and toward the palace. Above water, on a small island filled with trash, including an abandoned truck, cardboard boxes and tires, Portuguese Water Dog Moby drives in circles in his Moby Mobile. The land and underwater Moby Mobile has blue and green tentacles on the side and spreads dust across the island as Moby spins around. Yellow squid McSquidly watches and claps his tentacles.
MOBY: Bow-wow-wee! Feel this extra power I've added, McSquidly! I'm totally going to win, and when I become King of Puplantis, I'm going to cancel the after-race party!
[Moby sighing happily]
MOBY: I can't stand all the singing and celebrating.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly leaps toward Moby and wraps his tentacles around Moby’s face.
MOBY MUMBLING: McSquidly, don't hug my face!
[Moby grunting]
DESCRIPTION: Moby swerves. He drives up a sloped roof panel and soars into the air. The Moby Mobile switches from land mode to underwater mode as Moby falls toward the water. The wheels retract, and the tentacles drop from the sides of the Moby Mobile. McSquidly slides off Moby’s face onto the roof of the Moby Mobile.
MOBY: Finally. Come on. Let's go win this race!
DESCRIPTION: Moby splashes into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, pink fish glide through the water.
MOBY: Out of my way! Coming through!
DESCRIPTION: The fish scatter. Moby drives the Moby Mobile through the ocean. The tentacles on the back push it through the water. McSquidly shakes a tentacle at the pink fish.
MOBY: Okay, McSquidly. You're going to help make sure I win with my newest invention.
DESCRIPTION: A large black ball expands like a bubble and pops. Squid ink covers the Moby Mobile windshield. Moby wipes away the ink.
[Moby grumbling]
MOBY: Plant these ink traps around the racecourse, starting with that old shipwreck.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly takes two ink traps, the black balls, out of a storage compartment in the Moby Mobile, and swims up to the front of a shipwreck. He plants the traps inside a hole in the wreck and returns to the Moby Mobile.
MOBY: Nice work! Now, let's get to the starting line.
[Cheerful music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Outside the Puplantis palace, a ramp opens in the Whale Patroller. Mayor Goodway, Chickaletta, Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups swim out in their diving suits and helmets.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Amazing.
RYDER: Welcome to Puplantis!
MAYOR GOODWAY: This is the most fabulous place I've ever seen!
DESCRIPTION: Mer-pups swim around the palace. Two mer-pups swim over to Mayor Goodway and the others.
[Mer-pups barking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, yes!
[Mayor Goodway chuckling]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Hello, I guess. If only I knew what they were saying.
SKYE: My cousin Coral can translate! She's going to be racing today, too. I'll go get her!
DESCRIPTION: Skye swims ahead. On the other side of the palace, Cap’n Turbot steers his diving bell over to the group. A green mer-pup in a bubble car follows close behind on a scooter.
CAP'N TURBOT: Hello, fellow racers! Everyone ready to fin it to the finish line?
[Green mer-pup barking]
CAP’N TURBOT: Ha-ha! That's the can-do spirit, Kelp!
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Elsewhere in Puplantis, mer-pup Coral swims up to her blue and purple seahorse sub and looks around with a frown. McSquidly hides close by with an ink trap. Coral turns toward McSquidly, and he ducks out of view.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: Coral swims past her seahorse sub, and Skye swims up to her from behind.
Skye: Hey, cuz. Ready to race?
CORAL: Not really, Skye. I'm so nervous! I've got jellyfish in my bellyfish.
SKYE: Oh, Coral. Everyone gets nervous before a race!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly swims up to the seahorse sub and reaches for the engine hood.
CORAL: But I get really nervous.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly ducks behind the seahorse sub.
CORAL: It happens whenever I compete.
SKYE: Want to know my trick? I just take a few deep breaths and remind myself to have fun.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly opens the hood from behind. He slides the ink trap inside and swims away.
[McSquidly squeaking]
CORAL: Take a few deep breaths.
DESCRIPTION: Coral inhales deeply through her nose and slowly exhales through her mouth.
[Coral breathing deeply]
CORAL: Hey. I feel better! Thanks, Skye!
DESCRIPTION: Coral hugs Skye.
[Horn blaring]
[Coral gasping]
CORAL AND SKYE: The race is about to start!
SKYE: Let's go!
DESCRIPTION: Coral and Skye high-five and swim away. Back outside the palace, a large crowd of mer-pups gather.
[Mer-pups cheering and applauding]
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot in his diving bell, Mayor Goodway on her scooter, Kelp in his bubble car, Coral in her seahorse sub, and Skye in her manta ray sub hover behind a starting line.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh-ho! It's going to get speedy, Chickaletta!
CAP’N TURBOT: I'm revving with excitement and ready to race like a rapid rabbit!
SKYE AND CORAL: Good luck, cousin.
[Coral yipping and howling]
CORAL: Good luck, Kelp.
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swims up to the racers.
RYDER: Welcome, everybody, to the Puplantis-Adventure Bay friendship race!
[Pups cheering, howling]
PUP: Woo-hoo! Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The Whale Patroller projects a map of Puplantis and Adventure Bay.
RYDER: The first part of the course will be underwater. The second part will be on land through Adventure Bay. And the final part of the race takes place back down here.
DESCRIPTION: A red line marks the course through the city of Puplantis, the shipwrecks, around Adventure Bay, across the Adventure Bay bridge, around the Paw Patrol Lookout tower, and back through Puplantis to the palace.
RYDER: First one across the finish line wins. And then, after the big celebration, the king or queen gets to make their one wish!
CORAL: I have everything I've ever wished for. I just love the big celebration we're going to have together.
MOBY: Actually, there won't be any celebrating, 'cause I'm going to win.
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives up to the starting line beside Cap’n Turbot with McSquidly on the Moby Mobile.
MOBY: And when I'm king of Puplantis, I'm cancelling that party and every party from now on! Ha!
[Mer-pups whimpering]
CORAL: Moby, that's not very nice. You could do so many other things if you were King of Puplantis.
MOBY: Blah-blah-blah. Come on. Let's race already!
RYDER: All right, racers. On your marks, get set, flow!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder waves a checkered flag, and Cap’n Turbot speeds off. Moby backs up, and McSquidly grabs onto the Moby Mobile windshield.
[McSquidly squeaking]
MOBY: Hey! I can't see! Move it, McSquidly. Come on!
DESCRIPTION: The Moby Mobile turns in circles. In the city, Coral races ahead of Cap’n Turbot. Kelp and Skye closely follow with Mayor Goodway.
CORAL: You've got this, Coral.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the palace, the crowd watches the racers position on the Whale Patroller map.
[Mer-pups cheering]
DESCRIPTION: A live feed of the racers shows Coral in the lead.
CROWD MEMBER: Woo-hoo!
SECOND CROWD MEMBER: Look at them go!
DESCRIPTION: Near the starting line, McSquidly slips onto the roof of the Moby Mobile and Moby speeds after the other racers. He races ahead of Mayor Goodway.
[Mayor Goodway gasping]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, dear!
MOBY: Ha-ha! Eat my bubbles!
DESCRIPTION: Moby speeds past Skye, Kelp and Cap’n Turbot.
CORAL: Yippee!
[Coral laughing]
MOBY: Ugh. Coral's sub is faster than mine! We'll fix that. McSquidly, you know what to do.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly pulls out a remote and presses a button.
[Remote beeping]
DESCRIPTION: Black ink bursts out of the engine in Coral’s seahorse sub.
[Coral gasping]
DESCRIPTION: Coral swerves and slows. Moby pulls ahead.
CORAL: Oh no! Something's wrong!
DESCRIPTION: The live feed shows Coral swerving down the racecourse.
[Mer-pups whimpering]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swims toward the other Paw Patrol pups, Rocky, Rubble, Marshall, Chase and Zuma, then swims away with Rocky. On the racecourse, Coral bumps into a light and swerves into a ditch.
[Coral grunting]
CORAL: Uh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: Ink fills the water around Coral like dust.
[Coral shouting]
DESCRIPTION: A crab on a rock scurries away.
[Crab squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: Coral crashes onto the rock.
CORAL YELLING: Whoa!
[Banging and clanking]
DESCRIPTION: Coral swims out of her sub.
CORAL: Oh, my starfish!
DESCRIPTION: On the racecourse, Skye, Cap’n Turbot and Mayor Goodway follow Kelp past Coral. Ryder and Rocky swim over to Coral.
RYDER: What happened?
CORAL: I don't know, Ryder. I must've pushed my seahorse up too hard.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps on the seahorse sub.
[Knocking]
DESCRIPTION: The engine hood pops open, and Rocky swims up.
[Rocky barking]
ROCKY: Claw!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky pulls a piece of the ink trap out of the engine with his pup pack grabber claw, and more ink floats out. Ryder looks at the piece of the trap.
RYDER: Hmm. This doesn't look like your fault, Coral. There's something fishy going on.
ROCKY: Good thing the engine wasn't damaged too bad. It's an easy fix!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky closes the hood. Coral returns to her seat and starts the sub.
CORAL: Thanks, Rocky!
[Coral sighing]
CORAL: But there's no way I'll catch up to the others now.
RYDER: You can do this, Coral!
CORAL: Thanks, Ryder. I'll just try my best and remember what Skye says. Breathe...
[Calming music plays]
[Coral deeply inhaling and exhaling]
CORAL: ...and have fun!

DESCRIPTION: Coral speeds off down the racecourse. Elsewhere on the course, a dolphin flaps its fins.

DESCRIPTION: The dolphin swims after the racers. Mayor Goodway speeds ahead of Kelp and Skye.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Sharp turn up ahead, Chickaletta! Hold on to your feathers!
SKYE: If I cut to the inside, I might be able to pull ahead.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway, Skye and Kelp race around a curve in the course. Skye swerves side to side behind Mayor Goodway.
MAYOR GOODWAY: You can try, Skye, but this Mayor's got to fly!
[Mayor Goodway laughing]
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway races ahead. The dolphin follows Cap’n Turbot.
CAP’N TURBOT: Hoo-hoo! Blubbering blowfish! This bell is a beast!
DESCRIPTION: The racers speed past a crowd watching on the sidelines. Ahead of Cap’n Turbot, Moby leaves Puplantis. He looks back toward Cap’n Turbot following close behind.
MOBY: Bow-wow-what? How can a diving bell be that fast? Better slow them down.
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives between sections of the shipwreck.
MOBY: McSquidly, you know what to do.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly presses a button on the remote.
[Remote beeping]
DESCRIPTION: In the shipwreck, one of the ink traps inflates.
[Ink trap beeping]
DESCRIPTION: The ink trap bursts and fills the wreck with ink as Cap’n Turbot approaches.
CAP'N TURBOT: Suffering snails! I can't see!
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin swims around the shipwreck. Cap’n Turbot hits the wreck.
[Dolphin clicking]
[Metal clanking]
DESCRIPTION: The end of the ship breaks off. Cap’n Turbot bounces onto the ocean floor.
CAP’N TURBOT: Oh, duck and dodge, dolphin.
DESCRIPTION: The middle of the ship tips and pins Cap’n Turbot’s diving bell.
[Metal clanking]
CAP’N TURBOT: Uh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin dives down. The end of the ship falls over the dolphin onto the ocean floor and traps the dolphin and Cap’n Turbot. Black ink fills the water.
[Thudding]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin looks through a porthole window.
[Dolphin clicking frantically]
DESCRIPTION: Moby returns to the shipwreck and looks down from above.
MOBY: What an unfortunate accident.
[Moby cackling]
DESCRIPTION: Moby turns around and continues the race. Mayor Goodway and Kelp reach the ink-filled wreck and drive over the ship.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Racing is so exhilarating!
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: The ink fades and shows Cap’n Turbot trapped. Skye races up to the wreck and spots Cap’n Turbot.
SKYE: Oh, no!
DESCRIPTION: Skye drives down to Cap’n Turbot.
SKYE: What happened?
CAP’N TURBOT: A curious cloud caused me to crash!
SKYE: Let me help!
DESCRIPTION: Skye hooks her sub harness to a broken pole on the shipwreck and tries to retract the cable.
[Winch whirring]
SKYE: Ugh. This is going to take a few of us.
[Skye grunting]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin sticks its beak through the porthole.
[Dolphin clicking]
CAP’N TURBOT: I'd better reach out to Ryder for a rescue.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the palace, the live feed shows Cap’n Turbot trapped.
ZUMA: That doesn't look good, dudes.
[Pup pad ringing]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pulls out his pup pad and answers a call.
RYDER: Cap'n Turbot, are you okay?
CAP’N TURBOT ON A VIDEO CALL: Yes, but my sea vessel is seriously stuck, and a dolphin's been tragically trapped!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot shows the dolphin looking through the porthole.
[Dolphin clicking]
RYDER: We're on our way! No ship is too wrecked. No pup is too small!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder slides open a tray in his pup pad and taps a button.
RYDER: Aqua Pups, to the Whale Patroller.
DESCRIPTION: Chase, Rubble and Marshall’s pup tags light up.
CHASE, RUBBLE AND MARSHALL: Ryder needs us!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Chase, Rubble and Marshall swim toward the Whale Patroller. Marshall slips over a pile of shells on the ocean floor.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: At the Whale Patroller ramp, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma and Chase meet at the door.
ROCKY: Marshall, careful!
RUBBLE: Look out!
DESCRIPTION: Marshall spins toward the Whale Patroller. The shells float around him.
MARSHALL: Whoa-oa-oa!
[Crashing]
[Pups grunting]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Chase, Rocky and Rubble lie on the ramp. Marshall sits on top of Chase with shells stacked on his head.
MARSHALL: "Shell” we go inside?
[Pups laughing]
DESCRIPTION: The pups get up and swim into the Whale Patroller. The ramp closes behind them. Inside, the pups run and jump into their seats. Their seatbelts click together, and the seats turn the pups toward the front.
[Everyone laughing]
CHASE: Aqua Pups ready for action, Ryder, sir!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder sits in the passenger seat with his pup pad.
RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder taps a button, and the pups’ seats turn to face a large screen.
RYDER: Cap'n Turbot and a baby dolphin are trapped under parts of a shipwreck on the racecourse!
DESCRIPTION: The screen shows Cap’n Turbot and the dolphin in the shipwreck.
CAP’N TURBOT: Uh-oh.
[Dolphin clicking]
RUBBLE: Oh, that must be scary.
RYDER: It sure is, Rubble. So, for this mission, I'll need Zuma. I'll need you to use your sub's claws to lift the shipwreck off Cap'n Turbot's bell.
ZUMA: Let's dive in!
RYDER: And Rocky. I'll need you to use your saw to cut a hole in the shipwreck so the baby dolphin can swim out.
ROCKY: Green means go!
RYDER: All right. Aqua Pups are on a roll!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma’s seat belt unbuckles. He leaps out of his seat and runs to a trap door in the back of the Whale Patroller. A glowing orange light shines down on Zuma and an orange diving helmet appears on his head. Zuma drops through the trap door.
[Sonar echoing]
DESCRIPTION: In the Whale Patroller garage, Zuma’s hovercraft sub cruises across a pool filling with water. Crab-like grabber claws reach out of the sub. Zuma rides down a water slide into the garage.
[Claws snapping]
[Zuma howling]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma flips off the end of the water slide.
[Song] Zuma!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma drops into his sub. A dome roof closes over him, and he races through a clear barrier into the ocean.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: In the Whale Patroller, Rocky jumps from his seat and runs to the trap door. A green light shines down on him, and his diving helmet appears. Rocky drops through the trap door.
[Rocky barking and howling]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: In the garage, Rocky’s sawfish sub cruises into position. Rocky rides down the water slide.
ROCKY: Yay! Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky flips off the water slide.
[Song] Rocky!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky drops into his sub. A dome roof closes over him, and he races through the clear barrier into the ocean.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
[Sonar echoing]
DESCRIPTION: The Whale Patroller dives deeper, and Ryder drives his red and white submarine through a barrier in the upper deck.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: Ryder follows Zuma and Rocky through the ocean, toward darker water.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: At the driver’s seat, Robo-Dog steers the Whale Patroller toward the surface of the ocean.
[Robo-Dog barking]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
DESCRIPTION: The Whale Patroller breaches like a whale. It bursts through the surface of the ocean, then lands on the water with a giant splash.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, Coral follows shell lights marking the racecourse toward the shipwreck.
CORAL: I've almost caught up!
DESCRIPTION: Skye tries to pull Cap’n Turbot free.
[Skye grunting]
DESCRIPTION: Coral reaches the shipwreck.
CORAL: Uh-oh. Hang on, Skye. I can help!
DESCRIPTION: Coral drives her seahorse sub down to Cap’n Turbot’s diving bell and pushes her sub against the shipwreck.
CAP’N TURBOT: Great! Give it all you've got!
DESCRIPTION: The shipwreck starts to shake.
[Coral grunting]
SKYE: It's too heavy!
CAP’N TURBOT: This is a pickle of a problem. My diving bell is preparing to pop.
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral pull and push on the middle section of the ship.
[Ship creaking]
SKYE: I don't know if we can hold this up much longer.
CORAL: We don't have to! Look!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Zuma, and Rocky drive up in their underwater rescue vehicles.
[Ship creaking]
[Dolphin clicking]
RYDER: Okay, Zuma. Work with Coral and Skye to help lift the shipwreck off the diving bell.
ZUMA: On it, dude.
RYDER: Rocky and I will help the dolphin.
DESCRIPTION: Zuma snaps the crab claws on his sub onto a railing on the wreck.
[Whirring]
[Clanking]
SKYE: It's pretty heavy. We'll help.
ZUMA: Okay, dudes. Lift on three. One, two, three!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Skye and Coral start to move the middle section of the ship. Ryder and Rocky drive over to the dolphin trapped in the end of the ship.
ROCKY: I'll get you out, little buddy. Just stay back, okay?
[Dolphin clicking frantically]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin backs up from the porthole.
[Rocky barking]
ROCKY: Saw!
DESCRIPTION: Rocky’s sawfish saw powers on. He drives up to the porthole and cuts a circle around it.
[Saw whirring]
[Grinding, buzzing]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky backs up, and the dolphin swims out.
[Dolphin clicking excitedly]
RYDER: Nice work, Rocky!
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin swims around Rocky’s sub.
[Dolphin clicking happily]
ROCKY: Who's a happy dolphin? You are. Yes, you are!
[Creaking]
DESCRIPTION: The middle of the shipwreck shakes. Zuma and Skye try to lift it.
[Skye groaning]
DESCRIPTION: Coral pushes from below. Together, Coral, Skye and Zuma move the wreck off Cap’n Turbot’s diving bell.
CORAL: It's working!
DESCRIPTION: Cap’n Turbot drives his diving bell out from under the wreck. Coral follows, and Skye and Zuma drop the wreck.
[Wreck thudding]
CAP’N TURBOT: Thanks, Aqua Pups. I collided when I was confused by a cloud of ink.
RYDER: A cloud of ink? Hmm.
CAP’N TURBOT: Utterly unexpected. But now my diving bell is decently dinged and done for, and I'm out of the race.
SKYE AND CORAL: The race!
DESCRIPTION: Ryder checks the race map.
RYDER: Skye and Coral, you both still have a chance to win.
SKYE: Thanks, Ryder. Come on, cousin!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral speed off down the course. Outside the palace, the Whale Patroller shows the map. Marshall, Chase and Rubble look at the map in their Aqua Pups subs.
MARSHALL: Look. Skye and Coral are catching up to Kelp and Mayor Goodway!
[Mer-pups cheering and applauding]
MER-PUP: Yes, yes, yes!
SECOND MER-PUP: All right!
DESCRIPTION: On the racecourse, Skye and Coral speed through the water.
SKYE: Faster, Coral. We can do this!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral start to catch up with Kelp and Mayor Goodway. Coral nods. Ahead, Mayor Goodway glances toward Kelp.
MAYOR GOODWAY: You're a zippy mer-pup, aren't you?
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp pulls ahead.
[Chickaletta squawking]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp speeds toward Moby.
MOBY: Aha! One down, four to go! Ha!
DESCRIPTION: Moby marks off a picture of Cap’n Turbot.
MOBY: I'm going to win for sure, and there will be no more celebration!
DESCRIPTION: Moby turns into a cave. Kelp and Mayor Goodway follow close behind.
[Chickaletta squawking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Don't worry, Chickaletta. We'll catch up!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral speed past Mayor Goodway.
SKYE: We're back in the race!
MAYOR GOODWAY: Ooh! Come on, scooter. Scoot!
DESCRIPTION: Moby speeds out of the cave and turns to face the exit.
MOBY: Made it! Now, to knock out the competition.
DESCRIPTION: Moby looks around. He spots a pile of large rocks above the cave exit.
MOBY: McSquidly, up there! It looks like the perfect ink-dropping spot!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly grabs an ink trap and swims up to the large rocks with the remote. Moby hides behind a large rock nearby as Kelp approaches the exit.
MOBY: McSquidly, drop the ink trap now!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly tries to throw the ink trap at Kelp, and it sticks to his tentacle. Kelp races past Moby.
MOBY: Oh, no!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly shakes his tentacle and hits the ink trap against a giant rock. The ink trap unexpectedly pops.
[Splatting]
DESCRIPTION: The giant rock shakes. Skye and Coral race out of the cave.
SKYE: Woo-hoo!
CORAL: Yippee!
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives up to McSquidly, who tries to shake the now-empty ink trap off his tentacle.
MOBY: This was supposed to help us win, not put us behind!
[McSquidly squeaking]
MOBY: Let's go!
DESCRIPTION: Moby knocks McSquidly onto the Moby Mobile and speeds off after the other racers.
[McSquidly squealing]
DESCRIPTION: The ink-stained rock shakes, then falls. The rocks around it start to fall.
[Rocks rumbling and crashing]
DESCRIPTION: Inside the cave, Mayor Goodway glances over her shoulder.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Let's go, let's go! The pride of Adventure Bay is at stake!
[Rocks crashing]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Huh? What is causing that commotion?
DESCRIPTION: At the cave exit, more rocks fall and block the exit. Lights marking the exit flicker off.
[Electricity crackling]
[Mayor Goodway gasping]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Who turned out the lights? What happened to the exit? Don't panic, Chickaletta! Mommy is panicking enough for the both of us!
[Chickaletta squawking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: What do we do? What do we do?
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway’s scooter headlight shines in the darkness.
MAYOR GOODWAY: I know. We'll turn around and go back the way we came in. That way!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway turns back toward the entrance.
[Electricity crackling]
DESCRIPTION: A shell light marking the racecourse turns off.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, dear.
DESCRIPTION: The remaining lights flicker off, and the cave grows dark. Outside the palace, Ryder looks at the position of the racers on the map.
RYDER: Okay, race fans. It looks like Kelp is in the lead. Coral and Skye are tied for second, but Moby is coming up fast. And Mayor Goodway isn't moving?
DESCRIPTION: On the racecourse, Moby drives between Skye and Coral and speeds past.
MOBY: So long, slowpokes!
CORAL: Wait. How did he get ahead? Mayor Goodway was right behind us.
SKYE: I know. Where is she?
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral turn around.
SKYE: I don't see her.
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Visor.
DESCRIPTION: Skye’s visor lowers from her helmet. She looks into the distance and spots the blocked cave exit.
SKYE: Oh, no! The cave exit is sealed off with rocks.
SKYE THROUGH HER PUP TAG: Ryder, I think Mayor Goodway is trapped in the cave! I'll go back to rescue her.
RYDER THROUGH HIS PUP PAD: No, Skye! You're too far from her. We've got this. You keep racing.
SKYE: Roger, Ryder.
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral turn back and continue the race.
RYDER: I think someone may be messing with this race.
DESCRIPTION: Rubble and Chase’s pup tags light up.
RYDER: Rubble, Chase? I need you.
CHASE: Chase is on the undersea case, Ryder.
RUBBLE: Rubble on the double!
DESCRIPTION: On the Adventure Bay beach, Kelp pops out of the water in his bubble car. Townspeople of Adventure Bay watch on the sidelines.
TOWNSPEOPLE: Whoa. Woo-hoo!
[Townspeople applauding]
CHILD: Bubble!
[Gurgling]
DESCRIPTION: Moby soars into the air in his Moby Mobile with McSquidly on the roof.
FIRST TOWNSPERSON: Wow. Is that a squid?
DESCRIPTION: The Moby Mobile switches to land mode. Wheels pop out of the Moby Mobile and the blue and green tentacles tuck against the sides as the vehicle drops onto the sand. Moby skids around Kelp and onto the street. Coral pops out of the water and transforms her seahorse sub into a motorcycle.
SECOND TOWNSPERSON: Woo-hoo!
[Motorcycle engine whirring]
DESCRIPTION: Skye bursts out of the water. She flips the wings of her sub, then wheels pop out from underneath. Skye drops onto the sand and speeds after Coral.
FIRST TOWNSPERSON: Whoa!
SECOND TOWNSPERSON: Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: In the dark cave, Mayor Goodway pushes against a large rock.
[Mayor Goodway grunting]
[Chickaletta squawking]
MAYOR GOODWAY: It's no use, Chickaletta.
[Beeping]
RYDER: Don't worry, Mayor Goodway. We've got this!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway smiles. Outside the cave, Ryder drives up to the blocked exit with Rocky and the dolphin.
RYDER: We'll have you out in two shakes of a dolphin's tail.
[Dolphin clicking]
DESCRIPTION: Chase and Rubble join Ryder and Rocky.
CHASE: Hmm. More ink?
RUBBLE: Hope you don't mind me crashing in.
[Rubble giggling]
RYDER: Mayor Goodway, you might want to stand back a little.
DESCRIPTION: In the cave, Mayor Goodway drives down the dark tunnel on her scooter.
MAYOR GOODWAY: We're ready, Ryder.
DESCRIPTION: Outside the cave, Rubble backs up his hammerhead sub. The bulldozer blades of the sub slide into place, and he rams into the pile of rocks blocking the exit.
[Rocks crashing]
DESCRIPTION: Dark dust fills the water. The dust fades and reveals the now-open exit. Mayor Goodway drives out on her scooter.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Thank you, Rubble. Ryder, I knew I could count on you and your team.
CHASE: You can still get back in the race, Mayor Goodway!
MAYOR GOODWAY: I'm afraid I'm too far behind, Chase, thanks to this little accident.
DESCRIPTION: Chase looks at an ink-stained rock above the cave exit.
CHASE: Ryder, with all this ink I'm finding, I think these "accidents" aren't really accidents.
RYDER: I think you're right, Chase. The ink looks like what Moby's used in the past. Let's keep a closer eye on him in the race.
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, Moby speeds down the racecourse on a street marked by shell lights.
MOBY: All this cheating makes me hungry. McSquidly, snag us some food!
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly looks around. Outside his café, Mr. Porter carries a plate of pancakes toward the outdoor patio.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly grabs the pancakes and feeds them to Moby.
[McSquidly squeaking]
[Moby munching]
MOBY: Bleh. Yuck!
DESCRIPTION: On the café patio, Mr. Porter serves the empty plate to a customer and his gaze widens.
[Plate clattering]
DESCRIPTION: At the Lookout, Moby skids around the tower on two wheels.
[Tires squealing]
DESCRIPTION: The Moby Mobile starts to tip. McSquidly grabs onto the tower, and his tentacle stretches.
MOBY: We've got this race in the bag. Soon, I'll be King of Puplantis, and I'll cancel the big celebration forever!
[Moby cackling]
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: Moby speeds down the Lookout driveway and back toward town. On the other side of the driveway, Kelp bounces around the tower in his bubble car. He bounces down the driveway behind Moby.
[Kelp barking]
MOBY: What?
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral speed past Moby. Moby races back toward the beach.
MOBY: Don't they know they're supposed to lose the race?
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly points toward a sewer lid.
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: Good thinking. I don't know about you, McSquidly, but I'm having a blast! Let's hope our fellow racers have a blast, too!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly pulls out three ink traps. Moby drives by the sewer lid. McSquidly opens the lid and drops the ink traps into the sewer.
[Sewer lid clanking]
MOBY: Okay, McSquidly. Make sure Kelp is right over the lid when you spring the trap.
DESCRIPTION: Kelp bounces toward the sewer lid with Skye and Coral close behind.
MOBY: Ready, set, now!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly presses a button on the remote.
[Beeping]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp bounces onto the sewer lid, and a large stream of ink blasts him into the air.
[Kelp howling]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp soars through the sky.
SKYE AND CORAL: Oh, no!
DESCRIPTION: Kelp bounces onto the train station roof.
[Kelp quietly barking]
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral swerve around ink on the road.
SKYE: Whew! Ryder was right. Moby must have planted traps all along the race route!
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives up a hill.
MOBY: See you at the finish line! I'm about to be King of Puplantis!
[Moby cackling]
CORAL: Oh, no. He's going to fall off the roof!
DESCRIPTION: Skye and Coral slow to a stop by the train station.
CORAL: What do we do?
SKYE: I need to try and help Kelp, but you need to beat that cheater, Moby.
CORAL: Are you sure?
SKYE: I'm sure, cuz. Now, go! And don't forget: just breathe and have fun.
[Motorcycle engine revving]
DESCRIPTION: Coral continues down the street after Moby. Skye drives up to the train station.
[Skye barking]
DESCRIPTION: The wheels in Skye’s sub car retract and transform the car into a jet. Skye flies toward Kelp as Kelp’s bubble tips toward the edge of the roof.
[Kelp whimpering]
DESCRIPTION: Kelp falls off the roof.
[Kelp wailing]
DESCRIPTION: Skye catches Kelp with the wind of the turbine engines in her jet wings and balances him between both wings.
SKYE: Chase, can you come give Kelp a safe landing?
DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Chase drive up to the train station.
CHASE: You bet!
[Chase barking]
CHASE: Net.
DESCRIPTION: Chase launches his pup pack net onto the street. Skye tips her jet and lets Kelp fall onto the net. Kelp’s bubble car pops, and he falls off his scooter as he lands.
[Kelp yipping]
SKYE: Nice save, Chase!
DESCRIPTION: Skye lands on her wheels beside Ryder.
CHASE: Thanks, but I popped Kelp's bubble car. But you can still be in the race!
SKYE: It's too late, Chase. It's all up to Coral now. Ryder, it was Moby. He was the one planting traps along the race. We saw his gadgets on the road.
CHASE: Should we stop him, Ryder?
RYDER: It's just Coral and Moby racing to the finish line. Let's head back there. I have a feeling Coral is going to surprise Moby.
DESCRIPTION: Skye drives up to Kelp.
SKYE: Hey, Kelp. Want a lift back to Puplantis?
[Kelp barking]
DESCRIPTION: Skye takes flight.
[Skye barking]
SKYE: Harness!
DESCRIPTION: Skye hooks her harness around Kelp and flies toward the beach with Ryder and Chase.
[Engines revving]
DESCRIPTION: On the Adventure Bay bridge, Moby follows the racecourse lights.
MOBY: My ingenious plan worked! The traps took out the other racers! Now, I just have to win so I can be King of Puplantis and cancel their little celebration.
[Coral laughing]
DESCRIPTION: Moby glances over his shoulder. Coral drives up behind him.
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: Coral is back again?
DESCRIPTION: Moby presses a button and pours ink onto the bridge from the back of the Moby Mobile.
[Button beeping]
[Ink sloshing]
[Coral gasping]
CORAL: That's super slippery! I'm going to slide off the road!
DESCRIPTION: Coral looks worried.
CORAL: I know what to do!
[Coral deeply inhaling and exhaling]
CORAL: Let's have some fun!
DESCRIPTION: Coral speeds ahead. Outside the Puplantis palace, Mayor Goodway, Ryder, Rubble, Rocky, Marshall and Chase watch Coral approach the large patch of ink on the live stream.
MARSHALL: What's Coral doing? She's going to wipe out on that ink patch.
DESCRIPTION: Skye joins Marshall and the others.
SKYE: No. She's going to slide on it, and her momentum will boost her past Moby.
DESCRIPTION: On the bridge, Coral skids onto the ink patch.
[Brakes squealing]
[Ink splashing]
CORAL: Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: Coral swerves off the ink and off the bridge.
CORAL: Now, that was fun!
DESCRIPTION: Coral skids past Moby.
[Tires squealing]
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: Impossible!
DESCRIPTION: Coral races onto the pier. She speeds off the end and soars into the air.
CORAL: Time to make a splash!
DESCRIPTION: Coral’s motorcycle transforms back into her seahorse sub, and she drops into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives to the end of the pier.
MOBY: This can't be happening!
DESCRIPTION: Moby drives off the pier and his Moby Mobile switches from land mode back into sub mode. The Moby Mobile drops into the water.
[Splashing]
DESCRIPTION: At the bottom of the ocean, Coral speeds down the race course ahead of Moby. At the finish line outside the Puplantis palace, Ryder and Mayor Goodway wait with the pups and mer-pups.
[Everyone cheering, shouting]
MAYOR GOODWAY: Go, Coral! Win this for all of us!
DESCRIPTION: Coral narrows her gaze. She looks determined.
MOBY: Uh-oh. We'd better set another trap.
[McSquidly squeaking]
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly lets go of the remote.
MOBY: What? You're out of traps?
[McSquidly squeaking]
MOBY: Fine. Let's stick a tentacle on Coral. It'll pull her back while it flings us forward for the win!
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly wraps one tentacle around the Moby Mobile and swims toward Coral’s seahorse sub. Coral glances over her shoulder and spots McSquidly. She spins around and dodges McSquidly’s reach. McSquidly grabs onto a piece of coral.
CORAL: Sorry, Moby. Not on Coral.
DESCRIPTION: McSquidly stretches between the Moby Mobile and the piece of coral. McSquidly loses his grip and pulls the Moby Mobile back. The Moby Mobile hits the ground.
[Moby yelping]
[Clanking]
[Moby gasping]
MOBY: No!
[Celebratory music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Outside the palace, Coral crosses the finish line.
[Pups and mer-pups cheering]
DESCRIPTION: Skye swims up to Coral. Coral leaves her seahorse sub.
SKYE: Hooray! You won! I'm so proud of you.
CORAL: I couldn't have done it without you, cuz. All I had to do was breathe and have fun.
DESCRIPTION: Skye swims over to Moby with an empty ink trap.
SKYE: Cheaters always lose, Moby.
DESCRIPTION: Skye tosses the empty ink trap to McSquidly.
MOBY: Argh! This is all your fault!
DESCRIPTION: Moby glares at McSquidly.
[Moby sighing]
[Applauding]
DESCRIPTION: A mer-pup hands Ryder a conch shell trophy.
RYDER: Congratulations, Coral! You are the Puplantis-Adventure Bay friendship race champion, and Queen of Puplantis for the day.
DESCRIPTION: Coral accepts the trophy from Ryder.
CORAL: Wow. This is mer-velous. Thanks for helping all us racers.
RYDER: You're welcome. Whenever you tumble into a trap, just yelp for help!
MAYOR GOODWAY: So, Queen Coral, what will you do on this special day?
CORAL: I'm just happy to win, Mayor Goodway. But if I could have anything, I'd want the biggest celebration ever!
[Cheering and applause]
RUBBLE: Woo-hoo!
MOBY WAILING: No!
DESCRIPTION: Robo-Dog lowers the Whale Patroller toward the crowd. He presses a button and bright rainbow lights shine from the Whale Patroller.
[Mer-pup dance music playing]
[Cheering, laughing]
DESCRIPTION: A dolphin swims up to Rubble.
[Dolphin clicking]
DESCRIPTION: The dolphin claps its fins. McSquidly plays large clam shells like drums.
[Drumming]
[Moby groaning]
[Upbeat music plays]
