Descriptive Transcript
[Upbeat music plays]
[Text Reads] T.V.O. Kids plus Goddard Brown. Original.
CHILD: Whee!
[Child giggles, pop]
[Title] A.B.C. Singsong
[Opening Credits] By Warren Brown and Adam Goddard.
[Song] It's an A.B.C. singsong.
NARRATOR: About the word “wise.”
[Light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In an animation, a man with tufts of blue hair, a yellow-green nose, and a red shirt smiles.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN: When you make a good choice or a smart decision, there's a word that fits this definition. It's wise.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: At night, the blue-haired man lies in his bed. During the day, he rides his bike up a steep hill, then rolls backward.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Like when you go to bed early 'cause you've got to get up early. It's wise to get enough sleep. And biking uphill is not a wise idea when the hill is way too steep.
DESCRIPTION: On a beach, the blue-haired man wears a swimsuit and holds a beachball. His clothes change into a blue winter jacket and snow pants.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Wearing a swimsuit to the beach is a wise decision. If you wear a snowsuit, you're on the wrong track.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN: Too hot.
DESCRIPTION: A smiling monkey holds two bananas.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Letting a monkey keep an eye on your bananas. Not wise. There's a good chance you're not getting them back.
DESCRIPTION: A blond-haired man brushes his teeth, and the blue-haired man stands beside him.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN AND BACKUP SINGERS SING: Brush your teeth every day. You know what they say, it's a wise thing to keep them clean.
DESCRIPTION: The blue-haired man holds a spoon with a bowl of worms on a table in front of him.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Eating a bowl of worms when you're hungry isn't wise, 'cause who knows where they've been. It's wise to be wise.
