[Child giggles, pop]
[Title] A.B.C. Singsong
[Opening Credits] By Warren Brown and Adam Goddard.
[Song] It's an A.B.C. singsong.
NARRATOR: About the word "patient."
DESCRIPTION: In an animation, a man with tufts of blue hair, a yellow-green nose, and a red shirt smiles.
[Slow music plays]
BLUE-HAIRED MAN: Sometimes we've gotta wait, and that isn't always great.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: But I have a technique that you might appreciate.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN: I calm down, I relax, I'm patient.
[Lively music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The blue-haired man stands at the back of a line. In a dining room, he sits at a table, holding a knife and fork, with an empty plate in front of him and a clock showing a minute past five on the wall.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Like if I'm in a big line and got to wait a long time. That's just fine, I'm patient. If dinner's running late and I'm staring at my plate. I'll calmly wait, I'm patient.
DESCRIPTION: Near a basketball net, the blue-haired man throws a basketball, and it lands on the ground in front of him. Inside, he rests his elbows on a table beside a small plant in a pot.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Tried to learn how to play basketball all day, but that's okay, I'm patient. It takes time. I've been trying to grow a flower, I’ve been waiting for an hour, but I got a special power, I'm patient.
[Slow music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The blue-haired man rides on a turtle’s shell.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: When I take my turtle for a ride, he's got a pretty slow stride, but that's the best he can provide. And that's okay, because I'm patient.
[Lively music plays]
BLUE-HAIRED MAN: When does this song end? Oh well, I'll be patient.
