[Title] A.B.C. Singsong
[Opening Credits] By Warren Brown and Adam Goddard.
[Song] It's an A.B.C. singsong.
NARRATOR: About the word "flimsy."
[Energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In an animation, a man with curly dark green hair, a red nose and an orange shirt smiles.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: When something's flimsy, it's not solid, it's not strong. No, it's flimsy; it looks like it won't last long.
DESCRIPTION: The green-haired man picks up a box, and the bottom falls open. A pile of rocks lands on his feet.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Like this cardboard box. You'd think that it would hold lots. But when it's filled with rocks, they end up on my socks, oh!
BACKUP SINGERS SING: Flimsy.
DESCRIPTION: The green-haired man waves his arms.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: These flimsy arms can't lift a lot, they're…
BACKUP SINGERS SING: Flimsy.
DESCRIPTION: The green-haired man looks at a wooden ladder with misaligned steps.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Should I climb this ladder? I think not because…
BACKUP SINGERS SING: It's flimsy as can be.
DESCRIPTION: The green-haired man looks at a bird in a tree, and then the tree trunk bends.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Now, look at this tree, it can't hold a bird, it's flimsy.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN: Do you agree?
[Gentle music plays]
DESCRIPTION: A purple flower droops on the grass. Rain falls, and the flower stem straightens. Inside, the green-haired man sits at a table with a plate of spaghetti noodles. He picks up a noodle, and it swings.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Oh no, this flower's flimsy. A little rain will cure it. There. Noodles can be flimsy, but that's how I prefer it, yeah.
BACKUP SINGERS SING: Flimsy.
[Energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The green-haired man wears a blue jacket, and the sleeves fall off.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: My sleeves fell off, what a flimsy jacket.
BACKUP SINGERS SING: Flimsy.
DESCRIPTION: On a tennis court, the green-haired man holds a drooping tennis racquet. He stands on a sinking boat near a small island.
GREEN-HAIRED MAN SINGS: I'm not great at tennis, I blame my flimsy racket. When it seems like it might fall apart. When it seems it might be weak, like this boat, what's the deal? I think it has a leak. That's flimsy.
