BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Isn't it amazing the words that we know?
[Text Reads] Miraculous. Fabulous. Fast. Slow.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Like miraculous and fabulous and fast and slow. Do you know where I got all the words that I just said?
[Text Reads] Vocabulary.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Well, they're from my vocabulary, the words up in my head.
DESCRIPTION: The blue-haired man and a man with curly blond hair, a lime-green nose, and a blue shirt stand facing each other, with their hands on their hips.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Yeah, we need vocabulary to talk to one another, or we'd just be hanging 'round making noises at each other.
DESCRIPTION: A shiny red apple appears.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Like this apple isn't.
[Blows a raspberry]
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: The word I'd use is shiny.
DESCRIPTION: An ant appears.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: And this ant isn't.
[Trills]
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: The word I'd use is tiny.
[Text Reads] Humongous. Is.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: There are big words like humongous and little words like is.
[Pop, fizz]
DESCRIPTION: The blue-haired man looks at a bottle of soda, and the lid pops off.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: Words that sound like what they are, like pop and fizz. So many words to share what we're thinking.
DESCRIPTION: The blue-haired man holds a sock.
BLUE-HAIRED MAN SINGS: For example, for the sock, I'd use the word stinking. Ew. If you understand the words I'm saying, good for you. 'Cause that means that you have a vocabulary too. And all the words you're saying, then all the words you've said, come from your vocabulary.
