Later, Candy and Cookie sit on their beds. Pudding packs his shovel and magnifying glass in a knapsack.
Candy says, I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW. I'LL GET TO PLAY WITH MY SQUIRT TOY BABY.
Cookie says, YEAH, IT'S GONNA BE SO COOL.
Pudding says, OH, YEAH!
[Slide whistle, laughing, water spraying, Candy humming, giggling, gentle music plays, slide whistle, popping]
In a thought bubble, the kittens run on the beach. They leap into the air, squirt their toys, and the thought bubble pops.
Cookie says, HEY, WHY DON'T WE TEST THEM NOW AND SEE HOW GOOD THEY WORK.
Candy says, YEAH.
Pudding says, LET'S GO IN THE BATHROOM, OKAY?
[Water flowing, toy clicking, faucet squeaking]
In the bathroom, Pudding fills his toy and twists the head on.
Cookie says, GET READY. ONE, TWO, THREE, SQUIRT!
[Water spraying, light music plays, toy squeaking]
The kittens’ squirt towels and a rubber ducky
The kittens say, WOW-WEE!
Pudding says, THEY WORK EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT.

Candy and Pudding follow Cookie out of the room. He tapes a bull’s eye target on the back of a door.
Cookie says, NOW, I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU THE MOST AWESOME SQUIRT ACTION EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. KEEP YOUR CATS' EYES ON THE BULL'S-EYE.
[Drum roll plays, water spraying, cymbals crashing]
Mommy Cat opens the door and ducks beneath the squirting water.
Mommy Cat says, HUH?
[Gasping, paper rustling]
Mommy runs to her office and picks up a wet paper.
Mommy Cat says, MY DESIGN PATTERN. OH, COOKIE, WHAT ON EARTH?
Cookie says, OH, I'M SORRY, MOMMY. I WAS JUST SHOWING PUDDING AND CANDY HOW GOOD MY AIM WAS, THAT'S ALL.
Mommy Cat says, NOW YOU KNOW BETTER. SQUIRT TOYS SHOULDN'T BE USED INSIDE. THEY'RE FOR PLAYING ON THE BEACH, WHERE IT WON'T MATTER IF YOU GET SOMETHING WET.
Pudding says, BUT WE WON'T BE AT THE BEACH TILL TOMORROW, AND WE WANT TO PLAY TODAY.
Candy says, WE WON'T STAY IN HERE, MOMMY. WE'LL GO PLAY OUTSIDE NOW.
Mommy Cat says, THAT'S GOOD. BUT YOU KIDS PLAY SAFELY, OKAY?
[Upbeat music plays]
The kittens go outside to their yard.
Cookie says, WE'LL COUNT TO THREE. THE TOY THAT SQUIRTS THE HIGHEST IS THE BEST IN THE UNIVERSE. ONE, TWO...
[Drum roll plays, snoring]
Inside, Daddy Cat sleeps on his bed.
Cookie says, ...THREE.
[Cymbals crashing, water spraying, Daddy Cat stammering]
Water squirts through the window and falls on Daddy Cat. He looks out the window, and water sprays beneath him.
Daddy Cat says, WHAT IN THE WORLD? IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE RAIN. HMM. HUH? KITTENS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE?
[Birds chirping]
Candy says, WE'RE HAVING A CONTEST, DADDY. WHO CAN SQUIRT THE HIGHEST.
Daddy Cat says, KITTENS, CAN YOU DO YOUR SQUIRTING CONTEST SOME OTHER PLACE? I WOKE UP FOR WORK VERY EARLY, AND I NEED TO TAKE A NICE, LONG NAP, OKAY?
[Daddy Cat groaning]
Daddy Cat walks away from the window.
Cookie says, LET'S ALL GO TO THE PLAYGROUND. WE WON'T BOTHER ANYONE THERE.
Candy and Pudding say, MM-HMM.
[Rustling]
At the playground, Smudge builds a sandcastle in a sandbox.
The narrator says, BUT EVEN ON THE PLAYGROUND, THEIR NEW SQUIRT TOYS WEREN'T EXACTLY WELCOME.
[Water spraying, laughing, upbeat music plays]
Pudding squirts water on the sandcastle, and a tower collapses. Cupcake sits on a seesaw, and Cookie’s water squirt knocks Cupcake’s stuffy off the end.
Cupcake says, HEY.
[Laughing, spitting, grumbling]
A bird flies away from the top of a slide. The kittens chase each other. They run past Mustard, who is unwrapping a sandwich on the swing. She leans forward to eat her sandwich, and water squirts into her mouth. She drops her sandwich onto the grass. Candy runs past and squirts Mustard’s dress. Mustard spits out the water and puts her paws on her hips.
[Birds chirping, water spraying, the music ends]
Mustard, Smudge, and Cupcake approach the kittens.
Mustard says, THAT'S IT! ENOUGH WITH THOSE SQUIRT TOYS. WE DON'T WANT ALL OUR STUFF GETTING WET, OKAY?
[Sad music plays, water spraying]
At home, the kittens walk past Mommy Cat in the dining room. She sprays water on her plants.
Mommy Cat asks, KITTENS, WHY THE SAD FACES?
Candy says, OUR NEW SQUIRT TOYS ARE BOTHERING EVERYONE.
Pudding says, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE OUR TOYS AND GIVE THEM BACK TO US TOMORROW.
Mommy Cat says, WELL, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT, LEAVE THEM ON THE TABLE, AND I'LL PUT THEM AWAY WHEN I'M DONE WITH MY WATERING.
[Gasping]
Candy Says, I HAVE A GREAT IDEA! LET'S HELP MOMMY WITH HER WATERING. THAT WAY, WE WON'T HAVE TO GIVE UP OUR SQUIRT TOYS, WILL WE?
Mommy Cat says, THAT IS A GREAT IDEA, CANDY.

Daddy Cat says, SWEETIE, I'M HEADING OUTSIDE NOW. GONNA GO WASH THE CAR.
