A narrator says, IN THIS LITTLE TOWN LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE, HIS BIG BROTHER PUDDING, AND THEIR LITTLE SISTER CANDY. LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE HERE TOO.
Kittens wave happily.
The narrator says, COOKIE, CANDY, AND PUDDING! KID-E-CATS!

Daddy and the kittens enter a lobby.
The kittens say, WHOA!
Daddy Cat points to a room with a circular door.
Daddy Cat says, THERE'S A KIDS' PLAYROOM HERE. WHY DON'T YOU GO HAVE FUN? ONCE MOMMY COMES TO JOIN US, THEN WE'LL GO TRY TREATS FROM ALL OVER THE WHOLE WORLD.
[Happy music plays]
The kittens say, SO AWESOME.
They hold hands and sing, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW!
[Rustling, happy music continues]
Daddy Cat puts on a lanyard with a pass card and a chef’s hat. He approaches a group of bakers. The kittens run past an attendant and enter the playroom.
The narrator says, SO, DADDY WENT TO GO MEET THE OTHER BAKERS WHILE THE KITTENS RAN TO THE PLAYROOM.
The kittens say, OH, SWEET!
Cookie says, IT'S SO COOL IN HERE!
Pudding says, CHECK IT OUT, THERE'S ANOTHER KID PLAYING.
Cookie and Candy say, HUH?
[Swing creaking, footsteps pattering, the music stops]

Candy says, HI THERE! THAT'S PUDDING AND COOKIE, AND MY NAME IS CANDY. WANT TO PLAY WITH US?
The blue cat says, OKAY, MY NAME IS GUSTAV. LET'S GO!
[Everyone laughing, upbeat music plays, rustling, exclaiming]
The blue cat, Gustav, chases the kittens. The kittens slide into a ball pit and jump on a bouncy castle.
The narrator says, LATER, DADDY AND THE KITTENS SHARED A SNACK BREAK IN THE CAFETERIA.
[Background chattering]
In the cafeteria, Daddy Cat and the kittens drink tea. Cookie waves to Gustav and a cat wearing a grey suit and a chef’s hat.
Gustav says, HI!
[Cups clinking, Cookie gulping]
Daddy Cat says, OH, THAT'S NICE, I SEE YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN INTRODUCED TO THE PRINCE.
The kittens repeat, THE PRINCE?
[Tea cups clinking]
Daddy Cat says, YOU BET. THAT KITTEN'S FATHER IS THE KING OF A COUNTRY CALLED CATONESIA.
[Kittens gasping, upbeat music plays]
The kittens watch Gustav and the suit-wearing cat, the King, eat.
Candy says, DADDY, I THOUGHT KINGS WERE SUPPOSED TO WEAR BIG CROWNS AND FUZZY CAPES!
[Slide whistle, rustling, dinging, chain rattling, book closing, slide whistle, popping]
In a thought bubble, crowns and robes fall on Gustav and the King. A book appears around them and closes, and the thought bubble disappears.
Cookie says, I THOUGHT THAT KINGS WERE ONLY REAL IN FAIRY TALES!
[Gentle thumping, background chattering]
Pudding puts his teacup on a table.
Pudding says, COOKIE, KINGS EXISTED IN REAL LIFE, JUST A LONG TIME AGO.
Daddy Cat says, YES, BUT KINGS AND QUEENS STILL EXIST TODAY.
Pudding says, OH?
Daddy Cat says, THERE JUST AREN'T THAT MANY OF THEM, AND THEY DRESS MORE LIKE REGULAR CATS.
Daddy Cat walks the kittens back to the playroom.
Daddy Cat says, LET'S MEET UP IN HALF AN HOUR. WE CAN ALL VISIT THE TASTING ROOM TOGETHER ONCE YOUR MOMMY GETS HERE.
[Background chattering, gentle music plays]
Pudding says, SO, GUSTAV IS A PRINCE? BUT WE WERE TREATING HIM LIKE HE WAS JUST ORDINARY! NOW I FEEL AWFUL, HE PROBABLY THOUGHT WE HAD BAD MANNERS.
Cookie asks, BUT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO TREAT GUSTAV DIFFERENTLY FROM HOW WE WERE BEFORE?
Candy says, WELL, OF COURSE! IF YOU'RE A KING OR QUEEN, YOU GET TREATED SPECIAL.
[Whooshing, beeping]
Pudding takes out his smartphone.
Pudding says, LET ME LOOK IT UP ON THE INTERNET. RIGHT HERE, LOOK. "WHEN MEETING PRINCES, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO CALL THEM ONLY BY YOUR HIGHNESS." AND THERE'S MORE! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BOW TO THEM.
The kittens bow to each other.
Pudding continues, ALSO, YOU SHOULD LET THEM GO FIRST AND MAKE SURE THEY ALWAYS GET THEIR WAY.
Cookie says, WHOA, GOOD TO KNOW! LOOK, LET'S GO PLAY WITH GUSTAV.
[Creaking, thumping, Gustav laughing]
In the playroom, Gustav bounces on the bouncy castle. The kittens run to him.
Gustav says, COME ON, YOU GUYS! COME BOUNCE.
[Light music notes play]
Pudding says, UH, OKAY, IF IT SUITS YOUR HIGHNESS.
Gustav stops jumping, looks down, and jumps to the floor.
Gustav says, AH, I SEE. NOW YOU KNOW I'M A PRINCE.
Cookie says, PLEASE ENJOY THE TRAMPOLINE, YOUR HIGHNESS.
Gustav says, BUT I…
Candy says, YOU FIRST. PLEASE JUMP TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT, YOUR HIGHNESS.
[Gustav sighing, thumping, upbeat music plays, thumping]
Gustav sits on the edge of the bouncy castle and watches the kittens back away, bowing. Then, sadly, Gustav jumps on the bouncy castle.
Pudding whispers, THIS WAY, GUSTAV WILL KNOW THAT WE HAVE REALLY GOOD MANNERS.
Gustav says, I'M KINDA BORED, WANT TO PLAY TAG INSTEAD? COME ON!
Pudding says, BUT OF COURSE.
Puddin whispers, REMEMBER THAT WE SHOULD ALWAYS LET A PRINCE GO FIRST. THAT MEANS WE CAN'T TRY TO WIN.
Cookie whispers, OKAY.
[Gustav giggling, upbeat music plays]
Gustav chases Cookie.
Cookie says, CAN'T GET ME, CAN'T GET ME!
Gustav says, HUH?
Candy shouts, COOKIE!
[Gustav laughing, thumping]
Cookie slows, and Gustav tags him.
Gustav says, GOT YA!
Cookie says, OH, YOU GOT ME. NOW YOU'RE IT, GUSTAV. I MEAN, YOU'RE IT, YOUR HIGHNESS.
[Gustav laughing, chiming]
Gustav runs away from the kittens, and they wink at each other. The kittens chase Gustav. He slows and looks behind him.
Gustav says, HUH?
[Kittens panting]
The kittens stand by a wall.
Cookie says, OH, WE COULD NEVER RUN AS FAST AS... HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS!
[Cookie groaning, thumping]
Cookie falls on the floor.
Gustav says, OH NO, NOT AGAIN!
[The music stops]
The kittens say, HUH?
Gustav says, YEAH, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN.
Cookie says, WHAT'S THE MATTER, GUSTAV?
Gustav says, EVERY TIME OTHER KITTENS LEARN THAT I'M A PRINCE, THEY STOP TREATING ME LIKE A NORMAL CAT. I WISH I WASN'T A PRINCE.
Pudding says, OH, WE'RE SORRY! WE THOUGHT SINCE YOU'RE A PRINCE, YOU WOULD THINK THAT WE HAD REALLY BAD MANNERS IF WE TREATED YOU LIKE YOU WERE NORMAL.
Gustav says, BUT I WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE NORMAL, I WANT TO PLAY LIKE AN ORDINARY KITTEN. LOOK AT MY DAD! SURE, HE'S THE KING, BUT HE'S JUST A REGULAR BAKER.

Beside a long table, Daddy Cat and Mommy Cat stand with the King and other bakers. Pudding takes two plates off the table and gives one to Gustav. They bow to each other.
