[Whistling]

Messy, a furry blue monster with a red nose and a blue tail, whistles.

He says, LET'S SKI-DOODLE, OKIDOODLE!

Messy hops into a white and blue convertible. He presses a green button on the dashboard.

Singers sing, MESSY GOES TO OKIDO.

Messy sings, FIND OUT WHAT YOU WANT
TO KNOW.

The singers sing, LET'S ALL GO TO OKIDO.

Messy drives through the countryside past a pond and down a road with dancing trees.

He sings, OKIDO, OKIDO.

The singers sing, MESSY GOES TO OKIDO.

Messy drives through Okido, a large city with tall, colourful buildings.

He sings, ALL THE THINGS YOU WANT
TO KNOW.

Messy drives onto a loop de loop and underwater.

He sings, COME ALONG AND SAY HELLO.
LET'S GO SEE OUR FRIENDS!

Messy runs into a domed shaped house. Inside, he joins a blue-haired boy who wears a striped, blue shirt and blue hat.

Messy shouts, FELIX!

The singers sing, IN OKIDO.

A red-haired girl wearing red overalls and a red hat waves to Messy.

Messy shouts, ZOE!

Zoe high-fives Messy.

The singers sing, IN OKIDO.

Messy cheers, ZIM, ZAM, ZOOM!

The singers sing, IN OKIDO.

Zim, who has a square shaped body and computer face appears with Zam, a green triangle, and Zoom, a pink creature. Zam’s science experiment explodes, filling the room with smoke.

Messy sings, BA-BA-LA-LA, BOOM-BOOM!

In Okido, Messy dances down a street with his friends.

The singers sing, MESSY GOES TO OKIDO,
LET'S ALL GO TO OKIDO.
FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED
TO KNOW.

Messy looks through a magnifying glass.

He sings with the others, MESSY GOES TO OKIDO!

Zoom transforms into a screen that reveals the title, Messy Goes to Okido. Messy jumps beside the screen and smiles.

[Whirring]

In a living room, blocks are stacked in front of a bench. The episode title reads, A Night at the Circuits. Written by Neil Richards.

[Whirring]

[Messy imitating an engine roaring]

Messy jumps on the bench and steers a remote-control truck into the stacked blocks.

He says, OH, NO!
THAT'S TOO FAST!

The truck bumps into a multi-layer peanut butter and jam sandwich.

Messy says, AH!
WATCH OUT FOR THAT SANDWICH!

The truck hits the sandwich.

Messy says, UH-OH!
MIND THE SOCKS!
OH!

He steers the truck over a fallen block.

He says, PUCK-A-ROONY!
WHO'S DRIVING THIS TRUCK?
YES, IT'S MESSY!!

Messy steers the truck over a pile of socks.

He says, HE'S INCREDIBLE!
HE'S AMAZING!
HE'S THE FASTEST EVER!
HE'S GOING TO WIN!

The truck stops in front of the bench.

Messy says, HE'S, HE'S, HE'S…STOPPED.

He drops his remote.

He says, HMM...
WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?

Messy jumps off the bench and looks around the truck.

[Messy grunting]

Messy asks, WHY ISN'T IT WORKING?

He looks at the truck thoughtfully.

He says, HA!
WHEN YOU NEED TO KNOW, GO TO
OKIDO!

A green and white tunnel transports Messy to Okido, where he falls through the sky onto spring platforms and off a trampoline onto the ground.

Messy cheers, WHEE!

Outside Felix and Zoe’s house, Messy rings a doorbell.

[Ringing]

Felix and Zoe answer the door.

Zoe says, OH, OH, IT'S YOU.

Felix says, AH…

Zoe says, HUH.

She and Felix say, HI, MESSY!

Messy says, HI, ZOE!
HI, FELIX!
DID YOU THINK I WAS GOING TO BE
SOMEONE ELSE?

Felix says, WELL, YES.
WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ZIM AND
ZAM.

Zoe says, BUT THEY'RE A BIT LATE.
I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL, BUT MY
COMMUNICATOR ISN'T WORKING.

Messy says, OH, NO!

Zoe says, COME IN AND I'LL SHOW YOU.

Messy follows Zoe and Felix inside. Zoe picks up her watch communicator.

She says, HELLO!
ZIM?

[Communicator beeping]

Zim speaks through the communicator with a distorted voice.

He says, HELLO, ZOE.
HELLO, ZOE.
ZOE, CAN YOU HEAR ME?

The screen on Zoe’s watch flickers.

She says, SEE?

Messy says, WELL, THAT IS THE MESSIEST
SPEAKING I'VE EVER HEARD!
IT'S JUST BITS AND PIECES OF
WORDS!
HMM, MAYBE I CAN FIX IT.

He takes the communicator from Zoe and violently shakes it with his hands and tail.

[Messy grunting]

Zoe glances at Felix, who shrugs.

Messy says, HA-HA.
TRY IT NOW.

Zoe says to her communicator, HELLO?
ZAM, CAN YOU HEAR ME?

[Static hissing]

Zoe says, HMM, NOTHING.
MAYBE THE SHAKING WASN'T SUCH
A GOOD IDEA.

Messy says, HMM...

He looks thoughtful.

[Upbeat music plays]

Felix says, OH, THAT'S ZIM AND ZAM NOW!

Zoe says, COME ON!

She, Felix, and Messy run through the house. Outside, Zim, Zam and Zoom leave their cloud ship.

Zim says, HI, ZOE.
HI, FELIX.
HELLO, MESSY.

[Zoom beeping]

Felix says, HI, ZIM, ZAM, ZOOM!

Zam says, ZOE, IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG
WITH YOUR COMMUNICATOR?

Zoe says, UM, I THINK SO.
YOUR WORDS WERE ALL CHOPPED UP.

Zam frowns at Zoe’s communicator.

She says, SO WERE YOURS.
HAVE YOU TRIED TURNING IT ON AND
OFF?

Zoe says, YES!

Messy says, AND WE TRIED SHAKING IT, TOO.

Zim asks, DID THAT WORK?

Messy says, UH, NO, BUT IT WAS LOTS OF
FUN.

Zam says, HUH.
TIME TO HIT THE LAB, EVERYONE.

She leads the group to the cloud ship.

In the lab, Zam says, NOW, THEN, THERE WE ARE.
LET'S TRY A NEW BATTERY.

She replaces the communicator’s battery.

[Zam mumbling]

Zam says, TRY THAT.

Zoe makes a video call on her communicator.

[Communicator beeping]

Zoe says, HI!

[Static hissing]

Elsewhere in the lab, Zoe’s video call is blurry, and her voice is distorted.

Zoe says, CAN YOU HEAR
ME?

Zim shrugs.

Zim says, OH, UH, IT'S STILL NOT
WORKING.

Zam says, I THINK THERE'S SOMETHING
WRONG WITH THE CIRCUIT, ZOE.

Messy says, OH!
CIRCUS?
DID YOU SAY "CIRCUS"?
I LOVE THE CIRCUS!
I LOVE THE CLOWNS AND THE
ACROBATS AND THE TIGHTROPE
WALKERS AND THE, AND THE
CLOWNS AND ALL THE –

Zam interrupts Messy and says, NOT "CIRCUS," MESSY.

[Zam laughing]

Zam explains, "CIRCUIT," ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT.
WE USE ELECTRICITY TO POWER LOTS
OF DIFFERENT THINGS.
AND EVERYTHING THAT USES
ELECTRICITY HAS A CIRCUIT IN IT.

Zim says, THE CIRCUIT IS HOW THE
ELECTRICITY GOES AROUND THE
DEVICE.
FOLLOW ME.

Outside Felix and Zoe’s house, Zim explains, THE DOORBELL BUTTON IS PART OF
THE CIRCUIT THAT GOES ALL THE
WAY INTO THE HOUSE TO THE
BUZZER.
YOUR ASSISTANCE, PLEASE, ZOOM.

[Zoom chattering]

Zoom becomes a screen. Zoom shows a circuit in the wall between the outside and inside of the house with Zim outside, and Zam inside.

Zim says, IT ALL STARTS HERE IN THE
BATTERY.

A battery in the wall is highlighted.

Zim continues, THE BATTERY IS WHERE THE
ELECTRICITY IS STORED.
FROM HERE, IT RACES ALL THE WAY
ROUND TO THE BUZZER HERE WHEN
YOU PRESS THE BUTTON, LIKE SO.

He presses the doorbell button, and the circuit lights up as electricity travels through it.

[Zapping]

Messy says, OH!

[Bell ringing]

Messy says, I CAN SEE
THE ELECTRICITY GOING ROUND!

Zam says, BUT LOOK WHAT HAPPENS IF
THERE'S A BREAK IN THE CIRCUIT.

A break appears in the circuit and the electricity stops moving.

Zam says, THE ELECTRICITY STOPS.
NO BUZZER.

Zoom returns to norms.

Zoe says, HMM.
IS THAT WHAT'S HAPPENED TO MY
COMMUNICATOR?

Zam says, I THINK SO.

Felix asks, CAN'T YOU JUST OPEN IT UP AND
FIX IT?

Zim says, AH, WELL, UH, THERE'S A BIT
OF A PROBLEM THERE.

Zam says, UH, WHEN I DESIGNED IT, I
DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD EVER GO
WRONG.

She frowns.

Zim says, SO THERE ISN'T A WAY TO OPEN
IT UP.

Zam says, BECAUSE IT CAN'T POSSIBLY GO
WRONG.

Messy says, BUT IT DID GO WRONG!

[Zim laughing]

Zam glares at Zim.

[Zim sighing]

[Messy grunting]

Messy says, HMM, MAYBE IF I LOOK THROUGH
THIS TINY HOLE, I COULD SEE
WHERE THE BREAK IN THE
CIRC-YOU-IT IS.

Zam says, UH, WHAT HOLE?

She takes the communicator from Messy.

Messy says, THIS ONE.

Zim looks at the side of the communicator.

He says, LOOK!

Zam says, OH, THAT ONE.

She looks at a tiny hole in the communicator.

Laughing, Zam says, YES.
WELL, I PUT THAT ONE IN THERE
FOR JUST THIS SORT OF, UH,
EMERGENCY.

Zim says, SHAMELESS.

Zam glares at him.

Messy says, YOU CAN'T SEE INSIDE, THOUGH.

Zoe says, BUT IF WE WERE TINY
ENOUGH, WE COULD GO INSIDE.

Felix says, AND FIX IT, FIX THE CIRCUIT
BREAK!

Zam says, YES!
WHAT A GOOD IDEA.
WE COULD USE MY SHRINK-A-SIZER
TO MAKE YOU TINY.
WE'LL NEED OKIDOODLE, TOO.

Messy cheers, YES!
BA-LA-BA-LA-BOOM-BOOM!

[Messy whistling]

Okidoodle, the blue and white convertible, rolls out of the nearby garage.

[Okidoodle honking]

Okidoodle carries the group into the cloud ship. Inside the lab’s large workspace, the large Shrink-A-Sizer it pointed at Okidoodle.

Zam says, THE SHRINK-A-SIZER WILL MAKE
US TINY ENOUGH TO FIT INTO THE
COMMUNICATOR.
SHRINK AWAY, ZIM.
I'LL KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOU ON
THE OKIDOODLE WALKIE-TALKIE.

Messy says, BA-LA-BA-LA-BOOM-BOOM!

Zim says, OKAY, ZAM.
HERE WE GO.
SHRINK-A-SIZE!

The Shrink-A-Sizer blasts Okidoodle, shrinking it, Messy, Felix, Zoe and Zam.

Messy, Felix, Zoe and Zam shout, WHOA!

[Zoom chattering]

Zim picks Okidoodle up with tweezers.

He says, AND NOW, CAREFULLY PLACE THE
OKIDOODLE THROUGH THE HOLE,
LIKE SO.

[Okidoodle honking]

Zim looks at Zoe’s communicator with a microscope. With the tweezers, he places Okidoodle into the communicator through the hole on the side.

In the communicator, Messy says, LET'S SKI-DOODLE, OKIDOODLE!

He drives Okidoodle through the communicator, that looks like a city full of glowing blue lines and black parts throughout.

Messy says, OH, THIS IS AMAZING!

Felix says, IT'S LIKE A GIANT CITY.

Zoe says, WITH LOTS OF STREETS.

Zam says, NOT STREETS.
THOSE ARE THE CIRCUITS.

Felix asks, WHAT ARE ALL THOSE BIG
THINGS?

Zam says, THEY ARE PARTS OF THE
CIRCUIT.
THEY HAVE COMPLICATED NAMES,
NAMES LIKE RESISTORS AND DIODES
AND SWITCHES AND CAPACITORS.

Messy says, CAPACI-POTATOES?

[Giggling]

Zam explains, THEY SLOW THE ELECTRICITY
DOWN OR HOLD IT OR SPEED IT UP.

Zoe asks, WHAT DO WE DO NOW?

Zam says, WE'VE GOT TO FIND THE
BATTERY.
THAT'S WHERE THE ELECTRICITY IS
STORED AND WHERE THE CIRCUIT
STARTS.
LET'S GO.

Messy says, BATTERY, HERE WE COME!

He speeds down the communicator’s circuits.

[Funky music plays]

[Okidoodle honking]

Zoe says, OH, LOOK!
THERE'S THE BATTERY!

Messy stops Okidoodle beside a line of red blobs moving down circuit lines toward the battery.

Messy asks, WHAT ARE ALL THOSE RED
THINGS?

Zam says, THAT'S THE ELECTRICITY.
SEE?
IT'S COMING OUT OF THE BATTERY.

Felix says, YES, AND IT ALL GOES
OFF DOWN THE CIRCUIT!

Zam says, IF WE FOLLOW THE ELECTRICITY,
IT WILL TAKE US TO THE CIRCUIT
BREAK.

Messy says, WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?
LET'S GO!

He follows the electricity down a circuit. He drives up the end of the glowing circuit where a group of electricity is gathered.

Zoe says, LOOK!
WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Felix says, IT'S LIKE THEY CAN'T GO ANY
FURTHER.

[Messy gasping]

Messy says, OVER THERE!
IT'S ALL DARK.

The area past the group of stopped electricity is dark.

Zam says, SO THIS IS WHERE THE
BREAK MUST BE.

[Electricity chattering softly]

Messy and the others leave Okidoodle. Messy pushes his way through the blobs of electricity.

He says, AH!

[Messy giggling]

Messy says, THIS IS TICKLISH.

Zoe says, LOOK AT THAT!

The electricity is stopped at a ledge.

Zoe says, IT LOOKS LIKE A BRIDGE.

A glowing blue circuit line is broken. It hangs off the ledge, leaving the other end dark.

Felix says, WHATEVER IT IS, IT LOOKS
BROKEN.

Zam explains, THAT'S CALLED A CONDUCTOR.
THAT LOOKS LIKE THE BREAK IN THE
CIRCUIT.

Felix says, YOU'RE RIGHT.
THE ELECTRICITY CAN'T GET
ACROSS.

Zoe says, WE'D BETTER FIX IT!

Messy pushes his way through the electricity.

He begs, OH, CAN I DO IT?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE?
CAN I, CAN I, CAN I?
ME, ME, ME!

Zoe says, GO ON, MESSY.

Messy says, YES!

He jumps off the ledge.

[Messy cheering]

Messy picks up each end of the broken circuit line, which is the broken conductor.

He says, AHA!

Messy connects the dark end to the light end, and it lights up.

[Upbeat music plays]

[Electricity chattering happily]

The electricity travels over the repaired bridge.

Messy says, WHOA!
THEY'RE UNSTOPPABLE!

The dark circuits on the other side of the bridge light up as more electricity crosses.

[Electricity chattering]

Zoe asks, DID WE FIX IT, ZAM?

Zam says, THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND
OUT.

She makes a call on her Okidoodle walkie talkie.

[Beeping]

Zam says, ZAM CALLING ZIM.
ZAM CALLING ZIM.

Through the walkie talkie, Zim says, HELLO, ZAM.

Zam asks, ZIM, CAN YOU CALL ME ON ZOE'S
COMMUNICATOR, PLEASE?

Through the walkie talkie, Zim says, YES, OF COURSE.
HERE GOES.

[Loud feedback]

Zim loudly says, HELLO, ZAM AND
MESSY AND FELIX AND ZOE!
CAN YOU HEAR ME?

In Zoe’s communicator, everyone covers their ears.

Zam loudly responds, YES, LOUD AND CLEAR!
NO NEED TO SHOUT.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Felix and Zoe cheer, YEAH!

Messy cheers, HOORAY!

Zam cheers, RIGHT.
RESIZE US, ZIM.

Back in the lab, the Shrink-A-Sizer returns Okidoodle and the others back to their normal size.

[Dinging]

Zim says, OH, WELL DONE, EVERYONE.

The team jumps out of Okidoodle.

Zoe says, WELL DONE, MESSY.
HE'S THE ONE WHO FIXED THE
CIRCUIT BREAK.

Messy says, HEY, I JUST REMEMBERED.
I'VE GOT MORE THINGS TO FIX.
IT'S TIME I WENT HOME.
BYE, EVERYONE!

Everyone says, BYE, MESSY!

Felix adds, YOU WERE GREAT!

Messy returns home to his remote-control truck that is lying on its side.

He says, NOW, WHAT DID ZAM SAY TO TRY
FIRST?
OH, I KNOW!
TRY NEW BATTERIES.

Messy works behind the truck.

He says, HMM.
ONE BATTERY.
TWO BATTERIES.
AND NOW...

Messy turns the truck upright.

He cheers, BA-LA-BA-LA-BOOM-BOOM!

He steers the truck across the room.

Messy says, HUH, THE CIRC-YOU-IT WASN'T
BROKEN AFTER ALL.
IT JUST NEEDED NEW BATTERIES.

He steers the truck over the pile of socks.

He says, BYE-BYE!

End credits.

Messy sings, BA-LA-BA-LA-BOOM-BOOM!
