FLOWERS SO MUCH.

Messy leaps into a green and white striped tunnel.
[Whoosh, dramatic music plays]
Messy falls towards a town. He bounces on large buttons and a trampoline.
[Boings]
Messy lands by Zoe and Felix’s garden. They stand together and look at yellow flowers growing around tall poles.
Messy says, HELLO.
[Sad music plays]
Zoe says sadly, HELLO, MESSY.
Messy asks, WHAT'S WRONG?
Zoe says, IT'S OUR PLANTS.
Messy says, WELL, THEY LOOK OKAY.
BUSHY, GREEN, LOTS OF LITTLE
YELLOW FLOWERS.
[Whooshing, sad music continues]
Felix says, THAT'S THE TROUBLE.
Zoe says, THERE ARE LOTS OF FLOWERS
ON THEM.
Felix says, BUT NOTHING ELSE.
Messy asks, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT
ON A PLANT? ICE LOLLIES?
[Messy snorts, laughs]
Messy asks, TOOTHBRUSHES?
[Messy laughs]
Zoe says, TOMATOES.
Messy says, TOMATOES? PFFT.
TOMATOES COME FROM SHOPS.
THEY DON'T GROW ON PLANTS.
Zoe and Felix glance at each other.
[Rock music plays]
Messy asks, DO THEY?
[Birds chirp]
Zoe says, YES, MESSY.
Felix says, IF THEY'RE TOMATO
PLANTS, THEY DO.
Messy says, HMM. SO--
SO, WHERE ARE THEY, THEN,
ALL THESE TOMATOES?
Felix says, THAT'S WHAT WE
WANT TO KNOW.
Zoe says, THE FLOWERS SHOULD
BE TURNING INTO TOMATOES
BY NOW.
Felix says, BUT THEY'RE NOT, AND WE
DON'T KNOW WHY.
Felix wipes his hands against each other.
[Hands softly slap]
Messy says, HMM. I KNOW.
WE COULD ASK FARMER FUDDLE.
HE KNOWS ABOUT PLANTS.
[Gentle notes play, Messy whistles]
A car drives out of a garage. Messy, Zoe and Felix hop inside.
[Engine vrooms]
Messy shouts, LET'S SKIDOODLE, OKIDOODLE.
Messy, Zoe and Felix hop out of the car in front of a farm.
[Upbeat music plays, slide whistles]
Farmer Fuddle stands beside flower plants growing on trellises. He wears a red hat and shoes.
[Gentle music plays]
Farmer Fuddle says, HELLO, YOU LOT.
LOOK AT MY BEAN PLANTS.
LOTS OF FLOWERS; NO BEANS.
[Messy, Zoe and Felix gasp]
IT'S THE SAME ALL OVER OKIDO.
[Whoosh]
A red and white creature holding a watering can says, NO STRAWBERRIES.
[Whoosh]
A blue and white child says, NO CHERRIES.
Farmer Fuddle says, IT'S THE BEES.
Felix repeats, THE BEES?
Zoe asks, WHAT HAVE THE BEES
GOT TO DO WITH IT?
Farmer Fuddle says, THEY'VE DISAPPEARED.
Zoe says, MAYBE ZIM, ZAM AND ZOOM
CAN HELP.
Messy drives to a city. He drives the car into a tube and arrives at Zim, Zam and Zoom’s laboratory.
[Upbeat music plays, tires screech, whirring]
In a living room, Zoom watches as Zam runs across the room. Zoom sits and reads on a sofa. Zoe, Felix and Messy enter the room.
[Footsteps patter softly, Zam mutters, door swooshes open, Zoom beeps]
Zam asks, HMM. HAVE YOU SEEN
MY BUZZY BOT, ZIM?
Zim asks, YOUR WHAT, ZAM?
Zam says, BUZZY BOT.
[Zoom beeps]
Zam says, OH, DON'T TELL ME
IT'S GOT OUT AGAIN. DID YOU
LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN, ZIM?
[Zoom beeps]
Zim says, UH, IT WAS A BIT MUGGY
IN HERE.
Zoom shakes their head.
[Zoom whirrs]
Zoe asks, WHAT'S A BUZZY BOT?
[Majestic music plays]
Zam says, AH, MY LATEST INVENTION.
IT TRACKS THE FLIGHT PATTERNS OF
CERTAIN POLLINATING INSECTS, IN
ORDER TO--
Zim says, IT'S A ROBOT BEE.
[Beeping]
Messy says, OOH! A ROBOT BEE?
Zoe asks, CAN WE SEE IT?
Felix says, OH, PLEASE, CAN WE?
Zam says, I'M AFRAID NOT.
ZIM LEFT THE WINDOW OPEN AND
IT ESCAPED.
Zim says, SORRY.
[Beeping, gentle notes paly]
Zoe says, OH.
I WONDER IF THAT HAS SOMETHING
TO DO WITH THE MISSING BEES.
Zim asks, THE BEES ARE MISSING?
[Ominous orchestral music plays]
Zam declares, THAT'S A DISASTER!
Zoe asks, BUT WHY?
WHY ARE BEES SO IMPORTANT?
Zim says, ZOOM?
Zoom spins and turns into a large screen. Zim appears on the screen standing among large flowers. A bee flies past.
[Beeping, buzzing, cheerful music plays]
Zim explains, BEES BUZZ AROUND FLOWERS
COLLECTING SWEET STICKY STUFF CALLED...
The bee knocks Zim down.
Zim shouts, WOO!
[Slide whistle, slurping]
Zim continues, ...NECTAR, THAT THEY
USE TO FEED THEIR BABIES.
BUT WHILE THEY'RE DOING THIS,
POWDERY STUFF CALLED POLLEN
STICKS TO THEIR BODIES.
[Messy chuckles]
Messy says, MESSY OLD BEE.
Zoom says, NO, NO, NO.
THAT'S THE CLEVER BIT.
[Beeping, buzzing, boings, cheerful music plays]
Zim says, BECAUSE WHEN THE BEE MOVES
ON TO THE NEXT FLOWER, SOME OF THE
POLLEN RUBS OFF, AND THAT POLLEN
HELPS THE SECOND FLOWER TO MAKE
A SEED, WHICH WILL BECOME A NEW
FLOWER OR PLANT.
Felix, Zoe and Messy say, WOW.
Zoe asks, SO, DOES THAT MEAN
TOMATOES ARE SEEDS, THEN?
Zim says, WELL, TOMATOES ARE FRUIT
AND HAVE SEEDS INSIDE THEM.
[Beeping]
Felix asks, LIKE BEANS?
Messy says, AND SOCKS.
Felix says, SOCKS HAVEN'T GOT
SEEDS INSIDE THEM, MESSY.
Messy asks, NO?
Felix says, NO.
Messy says, SO, WHERE DO ALL THE
SOCK TREES COME FROM, THEN, EH?
TELL ME THAT.
[Laughter]
Felix says, OH, MESSY.
[Zoe gasps]
Zoe points out the window.
Zoe says, LOOK.
A bee flies on the other side of the window.
[Buzzing, beeping]
Zim says, IT'S A WORKER BEE.
WORKER BEES ARE THE ONES
THAT COLLECT ALL THE POLLEN.
SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE'S TRYING
TO TELL US SOMETHING.
[Gentle music plays, buzzing]
Zoe asks, WHAT'S SHE DOING?
Zam whispers SHE'S DANCING.
IT'S HOW BEES TALK TO EACH
OTHER.
Zim dances in front of the worker bee.
[Beeping, mumbling]
Zim says, YES, YES, YES.
SHE WANTS US TO FOLLOW HER.
WE'RE GOING TO THE HIVE.
Felix and Zoe cheer, YEAH!
[Beeping]
Later, the worker bee leads the cloud ship to the hive.
[Buzzing, whooshing, upbeat music plays softly]
Zam says, WE'VE ARRIVED AT THE HIVE.
NOW, PUT THESE ON, EVERYBODY.
Zam gestures a grey suits and helmets with mesh on the front.
[Footsteps patter, birds chirp]
Messy says, HUH?
WHAT ARE THEY FOR?
Zam says, TO PROTECT YOU.
BEES CAN STING SOMETIMES IF
THEY'RE STARTLED.
[Beeping]
Soon, everyone stands in front of the door to hive. They wear protective clothing.
Zim says, STAND BACK, EVERYONE.
I'LL DEAL WITH THIS.
ANYONE AT HOME?
[Birds chirp, beeping, doorbell buzzes]
Zim says, HMM.
THERE'S NO ONE HERE.
The worker bee lands in front of Zim and dances.
[Zim mumbles, buzzing, gentle music plays]
Zim says, OH, NO. OH, DEAR.
APPARENTLY, SOME HUGE
MECHANICAL BEE CAME ALONG...
[Everyone but Zim gasps]
Zim says, ...AND LED THE QUEEN AND
ALL THE OTHER BEES AWAY TO THE
FOREST, LEAVING JUST THIS ONE
WORKER BEE TO LOOK AFTER
THE HIVE.
AND THE HIVE NEEDS LOTS OF
WORKER BEES TO WORK PROPERLY.
Zam says, OH. SO, THAT'S WHAT
HAPPENED TO MY BUZZY BOT.
WE'D BETTER GO AND FIND THEM.
[Birds chirp]
Soon, Zim sits at a control board in the cloud ship. He looks at leafless trees on a rocky plateau through a telescope. Bees fly out of a hole in a tree.
[Whirring, Zim gasps, upbeat music plays softly]
Zim says, THERE.
[Beeping, buzzing]
The cloud ship lands on a plateau beside leafless trees. Everyone gets out.
[Whirring]
Felix says, HEY, LOOK. THE BEES.
A large bee wearing a crown settles on a branch. The others fly into the hole.
[Running footsteps, regal music plays]
Zim says, YOUR MAJESTY.
Zam whispers, IT'S THE QUEEN BEE.
SHE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT BEE
IN THE HIVE.
[Messy gasps]
Messy says softly, THE QUEEN BEE.
BA-LA-BA-LA BOOM-BOOM.
[Buzzing]
Zim says, AH, YES.
IT SEEMS THAT THE BUZZY BOT TOLD
THE QUEEN BEE THAT THERE WAS
MORE NECTAR HERE.
Zam whispers, AND WHEN THE QUEEN
LEAVES THE HIVE, SO DO ALL THE
OTHER BEES.
Zim says, AND NOW, THEY CAN'T FIND
THEIR WAY HOME.
Felix says, BUT THE BUZZY BOT WAS WRONG.
THERE AREN'T ANY FLOWERS FOR
THEM HERE, SO THEY CAN'T COLLECT
NECTAR.
ALL THEIR BABIES MUST BE HUNGRY.
[Tense notes play]
Zoe says, AND NOBODY IN OKIDO
HAS GOT ANY VEGETABLES OR FRUIT.
Messy asks, WHERE IS THE BUZZY BOT?
[Tense music plays, buzzing]
A large mechanical bee flies between Zim and Zam.
Buzzy Bot says, BUZZY BOT.
BUZZY BOT.
Felix, Zoe and Messy exclaim, WOW!
[Footsteps patter softly]
Zam says, BUZZY BOT!
THERE YOU ARE.
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Buzzy Bot says, HELLO.
Zam says, BUZZY BOT, WHERE
HAVE YOU BEEN?
WHY DID YOU LEAD THE QUEEN AND
HER BEES AWAY FROM THEIR HIVE?

THERE WAS NECTAR IN THE FOREST,
BUT THEN BUZZY BOT GOT LOST.
BUZZY BOT SORRY.
Zam says, OH, THAT'S OKAY, BUZZY BOT.

Buzzy Bot says, BUZZY BOT JUST
WANTED TO BE A REAL BEE.
Messy says, BUT YOU'RE A BUZZY BOT
Zam says, YOU'RE SPECIAL.
Buzzy Bot says, I'M SPECIAL?
Zam says, YES. YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL.
AND IF YOU LEAD THE QUEEN BEE
AND HER BEES HOME, ZIM WILL ASK

Zim dances.
[Mumbling, buzzing, tense music plays]

[Zam laughs, triumphant music plays]

[Cheering, beeping]
The swarm of bees flies behind the cloud ship.
[Buzzing, energetic music plays]
Messy, Felix, Zoe, Zoom, Zim and Zam arrive at the hive.
Zoe points and says, OH.
HERE THEY COME.
[Buzzing]
The queen bee knights Buzzy Bot.
Zam says, WELL DONE, BUZZY BOT.
YOU'RE NOW PART OF THE HIVE.
[Buzzing]
Buzzy Bot says, YIPPEE.
THANK YOU. BZZZ.
Standing in his garden, Farmer Fuddle watches a bee fly to his beanstalks.
He says, OH, PHEW.
HELLO AGAIN, BEES.
I MISSED YOU.
[Gentle music plays]
The red and white creatures says, AH,
THE BEES ARE BACK.
Children look up at the cherry tree.
Children cheer, HOORAY!
[Buzzing]
Zim says, IT WAS NOTHING, YOUR MAJESTY.
WE'RE GLAD TO HAVE BEEN OF SERVICE.
[Beeping, gentle music plays]
Everyone bows and says, YOUR MAJESTY.
Zim says, A PLEASURE DOING "BUZZINESS"
WITH YOU.
[Birds chirp]
Zoe says, RIGHT. TIME FOR US TO CHECK
OUR TOMATO PLANTS.
Messy says, AND TIME FOR ME TO BUZZ
OFF HOME. HA-HA. BUZZ. I SAID "BUZZ."
Everyone says, BYE, MESSY.
[Whirring]
Near his home, Messy lands by the flower with the bee on it.
[Bee buzzes, birds chirp]
Messy says, HELLO, LITTLE BEE.

OOPS. I FORGOT.
THIS IS HOW BEES TALK.
Messy dances.
[Imitates buzzing]

[Beeping, buzzing, boings, cheerful music plays]
Zim says, BECAUSE WHEN THE BEE MOVES
ON TO THE NEXT FLOWER, SOME OF THE
POLLEN RUBS OFF, AND THAT POLLEN
HELPS THE SECOND FLOWER TO MAKE
A SEED, WHICH WILL BECOME A NEW
FLOWER OR PLANT.
Felix, Zoe and Messy say, WOW.
Zoe asks, SO, DOES THAT MEAN
TOMATOES ARE SEEDS, THEN?
Zim says, WELL, TOMATOES ARE FRUIT
AND HAVE SEEDS INSIDE THEM.
[Beeping]
Felix asks, LIKE BEANS?
Messy says, AND SOCKS.
Felix says, SOCKS HAVEN'T GOT
SEEDS INSIDE THEM, MESSY.
Messy asks, NO?
Felix says, NO.
Messy says, SO, WHERE DO ALL THE
SOCK TREES COME FROM, THEN, EH?
TELL ME THAT.
[Laughter]
Felix says, OH, MESSY.
[Zoe gasps]
Zoe points out the window.
Zoe says, LOOK.
A bee flies on the other side of the window.
[Buzzing, beeping]
Zim says, IT'S A WORKER BEE.
WORKER BEES ARE THE ONES
THAT COLLECT ALL THE POLLEN.
SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE'S TRYING
TO TELL US SOMETHING.
[Gentle music plays, buzzing]
Zoe asks, WHAT'S SHE DOING?
Zam whispers SHE'S DANCING.
IT'S HOW BEES TALK TO EACH
OTHER.
Zim dances in front of the worker bee.
[Beeping, mumbling]
Zim says, YES, YES, YES.
SHE WANTS US TO FOLLOW HER.
WE'RE GOING TO THE HIVE.
Felix and Zoe cheer, YEAH!
[Beeping]
Later, the worker bee leads the cloud ship to the hive.
[Buzzing, whooshing, upbeat music plays softly]
Zam says, WE'VE ARRIVED AT THE HIVE.
NOW, PUT THESE ON, EVERYBODY.
Zam gestures a grey suits and helmets with mesh on the front.
[Footsteps patter, birds chirp]
Messy says, HUH?
WHAT ARE THEY FOR?
Zam says, TO PROTECT YOU.
BEES CAN STING SOMETIMES IF
THEY'RE STARTLED.
[Beeping]
Soon, everyone stands in front of the door to hive. They wear protective clothing.
Zim says, STAND BACK, EVERYONE.
I'LL DEAL WITH THIS.
ANYONE AT HOME?
[Birds chirp, beeping, doorbell buzzes]
Zim says, HMM.
THERE'S NO ONE HERE.
The worker bee lands in front of Zim and dances.
[Zim mumbles, buzzing, gentle music plays]
Zim says, OH, NO. OH, DEAR.
APPARENTLY, SOME HUGE
MECHANICAL BEE CAME ALONG...
[Everyone but Zim gasps]
Zim says, ...AND LED THE QUEEN AND
ALL THE OTHER BEES AWAY TO THE
FOREST, LEAVING JUST THIS ONE
WORKER BEE TO LOOK AFTER
THE HIVE.
AND THE HIVE NEEDS LOTS OF
WORKER BEES TO WORK PROPERLY.
Zam says, OH. SO, THAT'S WHAT
HAPPENED TO MY BUZZY BOT.
WE'D BETTER GO AND FIND THEM.
[Birds chirp]
Soon, Zim sits at a control board in the cloud ship. He looks at leafless trees on a rocky plateau through a telescope. Bees fly out of a hole in a tree.
[Whirring, Zim gasps, upbeat music plays softly]
Zim says, THERE.
[Beeping, buzzing]
The cloud ship lands on a plateau beside leafless trees. Everyone gets out.
[Whirring]
Felix says, HEY, LOOK. THE BEES.
A large bee wearing a crown settles on a branch. The others fly into the hole.
[Running footsteps, regal music plays]
Zim says, YOUR MAJESTY.
Zam whispers, IT'S THE QUEEN BEE.
SHE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT BEE
IN THE HIVE.
[Messy gasps]
Messy says softly, THE QUEEN BEE.
BA-LA-BA-LA BOOM-BOOM.
[Buzzing]
Zim says, AH, YES.
IT SEEMS THAT THE BUZZY BOT TOLD
THE QUEEN BEE THAT THERE WAS
MORE NECTAR HERE.
Zam whispers, AND WHEN THE QUEEN
LEAVES THE HIVE, SO DO ALL THE
OTHER BEES.
Zim says, AND NOW, THEY CAN'T FIND
THEIR WAY HOME.
Felix says, BUT THE BUZZY BOT WAS WRONG.
THERE AREN'T ANY FLOWERS FOR
THEM HERE, SO THEY CAN'T COLLECT
NECTAR.
ALL THEIR BABIES MUST BE HUNGRY.
[Tense notes play]
Zoe says, AND NOBODY IN OKIDO
HAS GOT ANY VEGETABLES OR FRUIT.
Messy asks, WHERE IS THE BUZZY BOT?
[Tense music plays, buzzing]
A large mechanical bee flies between Zim and Zam.
Buzzy Bot says, BUZZY BOT.
BUZZY BOT.
Felix, Zoe and Messy exclaim, WOW!
[Footsteps patter softly]
Zam says, BUZZY BOT!
THERE YOU ARE.
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Buzzy Bot says, HELLO.
Zam says, BUZZY BOT, WHERE
HAVE YOU BEEN?
WHY DID YOU LEAD THE QUEEN AND
HER BEES AWAY FROM THEIR HIVE?
[Buzzing]
Buzzy Bot says, BUZZY BOT THOUGHT
THERE WAS NECTAR IN THE FOREST,
BUT THEN BUZZY BOT GOT LOST.
BUZZY BOT SORRY.
Zam says, OH, THAT'S OKAY, BUZZY BOT.
DON'T WORRY.
Buzzy Bot says, BUZZY BOT JUST
WANTED TO BE A REAL BEE.
Messy says, BUT YOU'RE A BUZZY BOT
Zam says, YOU'RE SPECIAL.
Buzzy Bot says, I'M SPECIAL?
Zam says, YES. YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL.
AND IF YOU LEAD THE QUEEN BEE
AND HER BEES HOME, ZIM WILL ASK
THE QUEEN IF YOU CAN BE HER
SPECIAL HELPER, WON'T YOU, ZIM?
Zim says, MM-HMM.
Zim dances.
[Mumbling, buzzing, tense music plays]
Zim says, YES, THE QUEEN AGREES.
[Zam laughs, triumphant music plays]
Zam says, OKAY. LET'S GO.
[Cheering, beeping]
The swarm of bees flies behind the cloud ship.
[Buzzing, energetic music plays]
Messy, Felix, Zoe, Zoom, Zim and Zam arrive at the hive.
Zoe points and says, OH.
HERE THEY COME.
[Buzzing]
The queen bee knights Buzzy Bot.
Zam says, WELL DONE, BUZZY BOT.
YOU'RE NOW PART OF THE HIVE.
[Buzzing]
Buzzy Bot says, YIPPEE.
THANK YOU. BZZZ.
Standing in his garden, Farmer Fuddle watches a bee fly to his beanstalks.
He says, OH, PHEW.
HELLO AGAIN, BEES.
I MISSED YOU.
[Gentle music plays]
The red and white creatures says, AH,
THE BEES ARE BACK.
Children look up at the cherry tree.
Children cheer, HOORAY!
[Buzzing]
Zim says, IT WAS NOTHING, YOUR MAJESTY.
WE'RE GLAD TO HAVE BEEN OF SERVICE.
[Beeping, gentle music plays]
Everyone bows and says, YOUR MAJESTY.
Zim says, A PLEASURE DOING "BUZZINESS"
WITH YOU.
[Birds chirp]
Zoe says, RIGHT. TIME FOR US TO CHECK
OUR TOMATO PLANTS.
Messy says, AND TIME FOR ME TO BUZZ
OFF HOME. HA-HA. BUZZ. I SAID "BUZZ."
Everyone says, BYE, MESSY.
[Whirring]
Near his home, Messy lands by the flower with the bee on it.
[Bee buzzes, birds chirp]
Messy says, HELLO, LITTLE BEE.
NOW I KNOW WHY YOU LIKE FLOWERS
SO MUCH.
OOPS. I FORGOT.
THIS IS HOW BEES TALK.
Messy dances.
[Imitates buzzing]
Messy says, BYE.
[Upbeat music plays]
Messy shouts, BA-LA-BA-LA BOOM-BOOM!
End credits play.
